SPM Job + table CDHDR

hello Experts,
I have a problem regarding the firefighter job that runs every day--> /VIRSA/ZVFAT_V03
We have planned on our system one hourly job /VIRSA/ZVFATBAK and the above mentioned.
The last month the job is being cancelled offen because of the message :
TSV_TNEW_PAGE_ALLOC_FAILED:No storage space available for extending the internal table
First we implemented the solution witbin the note 14312190 were we created new indexes for the table CDHDR and the first two days the job was succesfull, after it failed again every once in a while. For your information our table CDHDR has 220 million entries, which is rather big.
Before i check this problem from the Basis side, because depending on the message it is a Basis problem, is there any other optimization i can perform ? like using the SPM log data auto archive function? or maybe somehow archiving table CDHDR which is probably causing the problem?

the note 1039144 is the one that we implemented with the new indexes.
But thanks anyway, i checked it again and i saw i forgot to set the value to Yes in the Configuration of the tool in : Retrieve Change Log.
I will check if the job will run succesfully the next days.

    I am supporting a client who has just performed an upgrade from 4.7 to ECC6.0 on their test system.  We try and use transaction MM04 (display material master changes) or MM02 and view changes to the material master but there are no entries.
    During the upgrade, the entries for transaction code MM02 in table CDHDR have been lost.  Can anybody give me assistance on how to avoid this when performing the production upgrade, or even better, is there any way to get these entries back?

    That shouldn't happen - entries shouldn't get lost.
    Is there anything in the CDHDR table (by browsing it with SE16)? If not, then something went wrong during the upgrade....
    Have there been modifications to the table? Is the the table active in SE11?

  • SMD Tool. No change pointers log on table CDHDR nor CDPOS.

    I'm trying to use the SMD tool. I've created my Message Type, and my Change Document Object(Tcode SCDO).
    Priorly, I've tested the ALE Layer configuration, by sending iDocs of my message type directly with the MASTER_IDOC_DISTRIBUTE Function Module, and it works fine. I mean, I have no problem with sending iDocs or the ALE configuration.
    In the transaction SCDO I've logged my Object Type, and I've assigned the table THOC (Public Holiday Calendar), from wich I want to monitoring the field DATUM, wich is flagged as "Copy as Internal Table" and "Doc. for individual fields at delete". Also in this transaction (SCDO), I've created the Update pgm.
    In transaction BD95, I've inserted my ALE Object Type, and I've assigned the table THOC and the field DATUM to my Object. Field DATUM is referenced to the DATUM Data Element. Due that the Data Element DATUM isn't flagged as "Change Document", I've changed the Data Element referenced by the field DATUM for one copy of the Data Element DATUM, wich I've flagged as "Change Document".
    My Message Type is alredy on the following tables:
    Tcode BD50: The checkbox for monitoring Change Pointers is on.
    Tcode BD52: Where I've assigned my ALE Object, the table THOC and the field KEY.
    Tcode BD59: Where I've assigned to it the segment of my Message Type, and the field (same field type) wich corresponds to the field DATUM of table THOC.
    Tcode BD60: The ref. msg. is the same as my Message Type, i've created the function module to create the iDocs containing the delta information (via tcode BD21 I alredy reach this FM that I've created), there's no table nor Object Type Associated (in this step I've tried both cases, with table THOC and my Object Type assigned, and both not assigned), the checkboxes "ID for reducible message type" and "BDCP2 OK" are off.
    The Change Pointers in Tcode BD61 is on.
    After all this configuration steps, I still cannot see logs of my Change Document Type in tables CDHDR nor CDPOS. Besides, when I run Tcode BD21 with my message type, and when  the program reaches my Function Module (Z_MASTERIDOC_CREATE_SMD_xxxxx), the function CHANGE_POINTERS_READ with my ALE Object gets no records. At this step, the same function (CHANGE_POINTERS_READ) with another ALE Object does get records.
    Table BDCPS alredy contains records for my Message Type, and in those records, the "Process" field is empty.
    Am I missing one step or something?
    Can anyone help me please?

  • Unable to join the tables CDHDR, CDPOS

    Hello,
    I want to create a Query connecting tables CDHDR & CDPOS to extract cost center details which are changed. To be precise, when cost center details are changed using transactions KS02 & KS03, I want to extract those details and run the report. I am unable to join the tables using SAP Queries SQ01, SQ02, SQ03.

        Yo jugaría un poco con el comando "Referencia de utilización" de la SE11. Podrías ver las vistas que existen para cada tabla y verificar si hay alguna que integre a las dos.
        Si no existe al nivel de tabla quizás existe integración al nivel de campo, también desde la SE11 podés ver dónde se usan los elementos de datos clave de ambas tablas, y ver si existe una tercer tabla que los relacione.

  • CUP Approve using SPM Owner table

    All,
    I am trying to implement CUP to automatically provision elevated access using SPM.
    I have found the SUPER_USER_ACCESS request type and this would appear to perform the required actions to provision the access but is there a way of using the SPM Owners table to derive the relevant approvers within CUP.
    This would be instead of using defined CABs at the approval stage within CUP?
    Please advise me on whether this is technically possible and how I would need to go about configuring it?

    Just in case you were wondering - when configuring the stage, rather than selecting a custom Approver Determinator, there is a standard one already there called, "Super Access Owner".
    This appears to perform the exact function which I was looking for.

  • Changes not reflected in table CDHDR/CDPOS using production order(CO02)

    Hi experts..
    i want to extract all the changed\new entries from table RESB (reservation table). The object class for this table is ORDER. I m using CDHDR/CDPOS tables for retrieving the changes. But the changes reflected in RESB using Service Order transaction (iw32) only is getting updated in CDHDR/CDPOS, not through Production Order transaction (co02). Any idea about this problem ?

    Call transaction SCDO you will get a list of document objects, look for "Sales document" you get the code : VERKBELEG.
    You could also call transaction SE16 on table TCDOB "Objects for change document creation", and select the record with TABNAME = 'VBAK' or 'VBAP'.
    If you look the data in your system, yon can find how to fill the OBJECTID field. Its VBAK-VBELN in internal format (that is with leading zeroes)
    Else go back to SCDO and display "Generation Information", you get the update task function module that updates the database "VERKBELEG_WRITE_DOCUMENT". Go to SE37 and use Where-used you will get the calling programs, here only a routine CHANGE_DOCUMENT_CREATE of program include MV45AF0C_CHANGE_DOCUMENT_CREAT call the function module, double-click on the call  and you find the code
    MOVE VBAK-VBELN TO DA_OBJECTID

    In SAP Business One you can post an A/R Invoice of type "Service" to reflect such a kind of thing.
    Each document in B1 is connected to a sales person.
    Or an A/R Invoice could be connected to a "Service Call" which is connected to a particular employee etc. etc.

  • Jobs related issue (how table BDCP updated)

    hi expert,
    job xxxxx  is running in R/3 which update other system (3plp).
    The main concept is that. Whatever changes taken place in master
    Data this change is passes through Idoc to other system. 
    My issue is related to customer master data. Job is including those
    customer( 321304) which have not been change. I can see this customer
    number in job spool. But when I see changes in customer master (321304)
    there is no change on that date. So this behavior is wrong.
    Job must include those customers who are changed on that date.
    Jobs is running fine for more customer but, not working fine for few customer
    In ABAP analysis I found that
    the program it calls the standard Function Module CHANGE_POINTERS_READ. The function module outputs the customer 321304 and change pointer number 198919387. But when I checked this customer, it hasnu2019t been changed since 2007.
    Then I checked table BDCP (for change pointers) and got this:
    I donu2019t know how table BDCP was updated and why change pointer 198919387 was created for KNA1.

    Change pointers are R/3 objects that mark changes to SAP master data. Change pointers are managed by mechanisms in a Shared Master Data (SMD) tool and are based on Change Document (CD) objects. CD objects record the changes occurring to master data at a field level. These changes are stored in tables CDHDR (header table) and CDPOS (detail table). ALE configuration provides a link between CD objects and change pointers. Internal mechanisms update tables BDCP and BDCPS, which host the change pointers. While CD objects are application-data-specific, the processing status of change pointers is message-type-specific. Also, the ALE change pointers are activated first at a general level and then at the message-type level.
    Change pointers are log entries to table BDCP which are written every time a transaction modifies certain fields.

    Hai everybody.
    I am new to this forum. i got a job in abap recently. The below is my requirement.I want solution for this one. Anybody plz help me.
    The change logs were captured in DBTABLOG for table ZWPRFRUND (in transaction ZWPG).
    The only report which is currently used to get the change logs is RSVTPROT
    Now my requirement is,
    we need to display the change logs in the form of ALV.
    We should divert the changes to CDHDR table instead of DBTABLOG, then we can use the RSSCD100 to display change logs.
    The Important items for the change LOG needed in case of changes to table in “ZWPG” are,DATE ,TIME,USER,FIRST NAME,FILED NAME,OLD VALUE,NEW VALUE
    The above fields need to be displayed in the grid. In the above list “FIELD NAME” denotes any field of the table in the transaction in “ZWPG”

  • C# - What's wrong with a table called JOBS? :(

    I've just moved up to .NET 2005. and am having a big problem right now with one report in particular.
    The report uses an Oracle table called "JOBS". It worked just fine in .NET 2003. Now though, it comes up with the dreaded field name not known error.
    So, I tried to just do a completely new report with just ONE field from the JOBS table on it. It doesn't want to know!
    I then copied (so it was IDENTICAL) the table structure and data to a new one called "JOBSTEST". The simple report worked (once I'd changed it to use the JOBSTEST fields of course)
    I deleted the original JOBS table, copied a new JOBS table from the JOBSTEST table and... it didn't work again!
    So, what's wrong with having a table called "JOBS"? Because that seems to be the problem!
    Oh... it works ok on the development machine. Just not any other. ALL other reports work fine!
