Spmetal generation problem when a list "choice type" field has too many Values
Hello,
in a SharePoint list I have a Choice column called City where the user should be able to pick a city. I am using SPMetal to generate my entity context. All enum values receive a integer based on 2^n.
However, after the maximum int value SPMetal uses 0 as the identifiert (see code below)

This is causing problems while using LINQ. For example, In my LINQ result, the city field of a list entry always shows "Chongqing" even its real value is "Shanghai".
The LINQ result seems OK after I modified the INT value as follows:

I use Safari (and have for years). I use Firefox (not a bad product) as my alternate browser.
Sorry for what appears to be a pedantic lecture. However, I think most of us adapt to different products if we really want to use them.

I used firefox 3.6.14 on windows 7 x64 (firxfox x32). I found a problem when I develop my website and alert data or value via javascript , firefox hang (not response) every time. What's happend? How to solve is problem?

LohkaeoOops - for some reason, this problem now seems to have gone away. May have had something to do with Flash. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

So it would appear that HP has not provided Apple with a scanner driver for 10.9 (known as an ICA driver), or provided an update if one was available for a previous version of OS X, so that you can scan from Image Capture.
I checked the HP web site for your model and they don't show any scanner driver or scanning software. If there was a scanner driver, you would be able to use Vuescan.
As for the Scan button not working, the following is documented by HP
Scanning to the computer from the printer control panel is not available when you scan with Preview, Image Capture, or Printer browser methods. You must use HP Scan software to scan from the printer.
But there does not appear to be any version of HP Scan software available for 10.9. So unless someone else has some workaround, it seems that you won't be able to scan with this model of HP. -
Too many values when trying insert records by bulk collect

I get the following exception, i tried changing the sql type(registerOutParameter) from boolean to bit but i still getting this exception.

Problem when creating a calculated column "Item has already been added"
Hi,
I built an a set of lists and custom content types which are made available under http://moss/callcenter. When I want to create a new calculated column for one of my custom content types i get the following error
Item has already been added. Key in
dictionary: 'Strasse_Strasse' Key being added: 'Straße_Straße'
This is rather strange as I don't even get as far as creating that new column. The error occurs right when I select the type calculated column, even before I enter a name for the new column. How ever, when I want to create a calculated column in root site collection (http://moss/) this error does not occur and I can create the new column.
Any ideas anyone?

Problem when creating list box in table control
Hi every body ,
I am placing a list box in table control , the list box is coming perfectly but
when I am scrolling or pressing enter the data in that field is clearing.
if I remove the list box , and i enter the data directly and scrolling or press enter
the data is not clearing.
But only for list box only it is be having like that

Problem when summery the data type of interval day to second

i write a program calculate periods of time and summary it then i used interval day to second data type
oracle support basic 4 math operation (+,-,*,/) on interval
but although oracle does not support summary function like sum() ,avg(),count()!! this is a problem here
the walkaround it by use oracle data cartdrage advanced future like follows steps :

at last i used the function to summary intervals and its work so good but when the result of calculated summary value exceed the default precision of interval : INTERVAL DAY(2) TO SECOND(6)
i get an error :
ORA-01873 the leading precision of the interval is too small
Cause: The leading precision of the interval is too small to store the specified
interval .
Action: Increase the leading precision of the interval or specify an interval with
a smaller leading precision
although i can determine the precision of interval the declaration of the new type to maximum like :

Instead of 'interval day to second' in method declaration use internal datatype 'DSINTERVAL_UNCONSTRAINED'.
There are more unconstrained types in oracle.

but the problem is
Before clicking the choice, itself the record is getting deleted.
If i click yes/No/Cancel, the action in event handler empremove is executing.
And when passing parameters to eventhandler, what should i give for 'Event' parameter?
can anybody help me..

in your action coding you call your EventHandler EmpRemove before showing the dialog:
wdThis.EmpRemove(wdEvent1,empid);
IWDConfirmationDialog dialog =wdComponentAPI.getWindowManager().createConfirmationWindow( Message, controllerInfo.findInEventHandlers("EmpRemove"), "Yes");
So remove the line "wdThis.EmpRemove(wdEvent1,empid);" and let the EventHandler do his work when the user confirms the deletion. Probably you should als check whether and how your ConsultantId is transfered as parameter. Think about removing it from the EventHandler and getting the selection straight out of the table.

Problems when using Adobe Wood Type Std font
I use Adobe Creative Cloud on an IMAC 21.5"/GT750M. Yesterday, I purchased Adobe Wood Type Std. Regular (Mac/Win, English). I installed this font by dragging it to the Font Book. The font is showing up on the font menu in Indesign, but most of the characters are showing up as black ovals or open rectangles with slashes. What have I done wrong? How can I get this font to work? Have I downloaded the wrong version for my computer/software?
As mentioned above, they should be readily available in the glyphs palette in both InDesign and Illustrator (Photoshop does not have one). For other apps like Word, your download should have included both a Keyboard Layouts folder and a Readme folder with instructions on how to install and use them and an explanation of how Pi fonts currently work. If you did not receive those, contact me at [email protected] to let me know and I will send them directly to you. I tested Word myself and the font does list, albeit somewhat illegibly because of all the bullets and ornaments when in sample mode; if you switch the menu to text only, you should find it easily in the 'A's, but it won't work easily in Word until the keyboard layouts are installed.

Problems when I try to type in using Lion
I can't write anything because as soon as I enter a program it leaves the edit mode. The program does not accept input from the keyboard. Anyone know how to fix that in Lion?
Yesterday, I was unable to type into Pages and could not, for the life of me, figure out what this was about. While I was cogitating, a window popped up on my desktop, informing me that a new version of BetterTouchTool (a Magic Mouse app) was available for download. I installed it immediately and when I went back to Pages, I was able to type. So, in my case, a 3rd party app for the mouse was somehow responsible for my problems with Pages.

Spool problem when printing list
Hi Friends,
In my report program - I am using ALV_GRID_DISPLAY and generating the output in the SPOOL.
If I check in spool - The first page contains as:
Data statistics No. of Records
Records passed 15
and in the second page - my actual ALV output is getting printed with 15 records.
I dont know how the first page is getting generated ? I dont want to see this first page. Only my second page data as per my report logic should appear in spool.
For your reference: - I am using like this:
PERFORM field_catalog.
NEW-PAGE PRINT ON
PARAMETERS wa_params
NO DIALOG.
PERFORM alv_output.
NEW-PAGE PRINT OFF
Please let me know.

What I understand is that When I checked in Settings -> List status
This is actually printing in the first page in spool. But only, my output should only be printed.
How can I hide so that only my list output only should be generated in spool ??
