I need some informatoin about how could i determine the position and size of some spots in my image.
I'm getting some images from a camera and i need to locate all the spots from those images in order to command an automatum which ne eds to repaint those spots.

Let me know what I did wrong lol I know it has to do with the detecting part. Also, if anyone knows any good websites to learn javascript I would be very thankful. I am not sure what a lot of the syntax means. Thanks!!

Never mind I figured it out. Someone posted a similar question a few months ago on here, damn this forum is awesome wish I had known about it sooner. Sorry if I wasted anyone's time.

In 5s, personal hot spot does not work from time to time. Iphone does not get detected on Wi-fi or bluetooth. Restarting or rebooting does not help.

Settings, general, reset and reset network settings. Clear out your network settings and set personal hotspot again.
also avoid special characters making a password. hashtags or open brackets for example doesn't work too good.

If not:
iOS: Wi-Fi or Bluetooth settings grayed out or dim
One user reported that placing the iPod in the freezer fixed the problem.
If not successful, an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is usually in order.

Does the iPod connect to/see other networks? (you were not clear)

Any error messages?
Do other devices now connect?
Did the iPod connect before?
Try the following to rule out a software problem:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Power off and then back on the router
- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings

If still problem make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

HT1766 No WiFi detected on iPhone 4s, problem at every hot spot.

Here is what I have done so far in an attempt to fix the no signal avaiable for wifi. I have wifi at home and it works on iPad 2, and three PCs.
Reset network connectionson iPhone: no luck
Backed up all info to my PC to prepare for a iOS 6 download: backup complete
Attempted to download iOS 6, but first iTunes requires to dowload v 10.7, but I already did that. How can I check it has worked? I did restart the computer.
Help please.

After reading so much negative input maybe I don't need iOS 6...but I do need to get the wifi antenna activated.
Has anyone experienced this problem?
This phone has not gotten wet or any other abuse.

Ipod not detected

I've been having this problem for quite a long time now, it's really disturbing since i've tried almost all suggestions of support, but to no avail
My Problem started a few days ago, when i docked my iPod to my computer, iTunes gave a notification saying something like 'The content of your iPod cannot be read, you need to restore your iPod to the original factory settings', and so I did, but after the reset process, both iTunes and the Computer can't detect the iPod, or at least, detects it, but it doesn't show it anywhere, or I have no way to access it, USB Disk Security and ESET both detect that i've plugged in a device via USB, I hear the system sounds when you plug in a device, the safely remove icon appears in the system tray, and my iPod has its display set to 'Connected'.
I've already tried majority of the solutions found on this(http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1363):
None of them solved my problem, although it has given me some insights that some experts might understand
Solution number:
1. Didn't fix the problem
2. No sad icon or exclamation point (btw, my iPod doesn't appear on My Computer>Devices with Removable Storage)
3. My iPod is fully charged (and my iPod does charge whenever i plug it to the computer)
4. I'm sure the connections are secure, i even tried other authentic apple USB cables i found at home, but still, none
5. Tried it
6. They are functioning well
7. Tried it, itunes still didn't detect my iPod, nor did it appear in 'Computer'
8. Never plugged my iPod on a mac, so i guess it's formatted for Windows
9. In Device Manager, there are three things that appear related when i connect my iPod:
Disk Drives>Apple iPod USB Device
Portable Devices>iPod
and
Universal Serial Bus Controllers>Apple Mobile Device USB Driver
On the surface, there were no problems, but I think I've spotted something that might point out the problem
When I opened devices and printers "Apple Mobile Device USB Driver" was under the 'Unspecifed Category', which I guess, means that the computer recognizes that it has an iPod cable connected to it (or whatever), but doesn't read the iPod itself
10. It appears Windows does confuse my iPod with a network drive(The Drive Letter is indeed E, I'm not entirely sure, but If I remember correctly, the computer assigned higher letters previously, not E), but the solution on the link appears to work only for Windows XP, since when I actually tried the solution, the 'Change Letter and Drive Paths' was unclickable
11. I haven't tried this one, I'll try doing it after I post this, although I doubt it'll fix the problem, the problem doesn't seem to be the conflict with other programs

13. I seem to have heard from somewhere that iPod Nano 4th Gen doesn't use Firewire so,...
Definitely haven't tried 14 and 15
Here are some additional information that might help:
1. my iPod can't be recognized in my laptop, but when i tried it on our other older laptop, it works, it can be detected on both itunes and windows
2. I've tried resetting my iPod through the other laptop, then i replugged the iPod on my computer, supposed to be, iTunes would just keep silent as if it hasn't noticed anything, but iTunes would say 'The content of your iPod cannot be read, you need to restore your iPod to the original factory settings', which was what I initially got before I got this problem, After I did the restore, it still can't be detected
3. I've mentioned previously that ESET does detect my iPod (or at least the drive), whenever i plug it in, eset asks the scanning options, and when I try to scan the iPod ESET actually scans inside my iPod, which means it was somehow able to access it
4. Whenever i try to access my iPod manually by typing E:\ on the windows exlporer, it gives me this
I've tried googling the net about this problem, it appears not many people experience this, most experience this problem in relation to Microsoft Outlook or some emalining stuff, but not about accessing a drive or a path
5. Lastly, please check this
this is a Diagnostic I just did recently, it says there 'iPod support service is not running', i've run previous Diagnostics where that thing is running, but still my iPod won't be detected, i have no idea how it got turned off, turning it on might solve my problem, though I doubt it, but it's still worth a try, so maybe someone could tell me how to turn it on, the help button doesn't say anything of how to turn it on

Nano charging but not being detected by computer and my screen is messed up

i have a pc with windows xp. i put in my ipod that i had since december and it charges but the computer and itunes does not detect it. in addition my screen is messed up in the middle from left to right. words does not appear in that spot. i did all of the restart and restore stuff. nothing works. and i cannot get to the workers to chat with.

GTX 970 Not Detected in BIOS

Hi, this is the first time I've posted here so I hope I'm not in the wrong spot.
I recently built my first PC running windows 7, MSI Z97 Gaming 7 - my video Card is a MSI GTX970 Twin Frozen V.
I removed the graphics card to do some cleaning and when plugging it back in, it is no longer detected in the BIOS. I have the latest BIOS software 1.8. I tried putting it in another PCIe slot and still nothing. I tried restoring factory settings on the BIOS by removing the CMOS battery and still nothing detected. I've looked relentlessly on forums for help but still no luck. It worked perfectly before and now it just is not being recognized, resulting in no DVI signal black screens. Having to use an HDMI port directly to the motherboard.
Has anyone ran into this problem before with any solutions? Should I reinstall windows and start clean? I'm running out of ideas here.

DV7 - Error 03F0 - No Boot Device Detected - Passes both Memory and HDD Test

Hi there,
My DV7 will not boot up at all. When powered on, I see the HP loading screen briefly, then into "dos type" font saying "No Boot Device Detected - Error 03F0"
I have run both the memory test and hard drive test from the diagnostic menu and both come back ok.
A little more history on the Device/Problem;
2 months ago it was shutting itself off due to overheating - After a good cleaning, the temps cooled down enough that it was no longer shutting off.
I am currently in India, plugging directly into outlets (230v power) using an adapter. 10 days ago there was a small spark at the outlet leaving a very small spot on one of the prongs of the adapter. There was no power flicker, and it wasn't a surge, just almost like a bad connection sparking. This "spark" seemed to have killed my charger immediately. I used the battery until nearly dead, purchased a new charger, but when I returned and tried the new charger, it would not charge, nor power on. When plugged in, at this point, the power/charging light on the side was lit, but not on the front. I used a pin to open the CD drive, and the front light lit up, but it still would not power on.
I took it to a repair shop here in India, and they managed to get it so it would power on (not sure how), but that has only brought me to where I'm at right now with the Error. They said "It worked, and then we tested again and it didn't work and now it no work".
My current BIOS edition is F.46.
Essentially I'm wondering if I'm screwed - and if I'm not, then what can I do to trouble shoot/fix it?
P.S. Finding parts in India that are specific to my computer will be near impossible with the technology differences. Also, dealing with local techs is extremely difficult so I'll need to know
P.S.S. I just tried to power it on again to double check the accuracy of my post and it will not power on, nor can I get the CD drive open again....

Is the unit still in warranty?
Based on the description of the behavior, it does sound a hardware issue beyond the hard drive.
Was the AC adapter that was purchased an HP adapter? I know you said it is difficult to get the right parts in your area, but I want to confirm if it is an HP adapter or aftermarket.

Photoshop CS5 Spot Healing Brush only blurs

Here's a before and after shot. I recently upgraded from CS3 and the spot healing brush always worked great.
Now when I use it, whether or not I use content aware fill, it leaves a blurred residue of what I was trying to remove.
As an aside, the Content Aware Fill leaves a similar residue, enough to make it effectively unusable.
I have included a sample photo of the spot healing brush problem. Left side is before and right side is after.
I just wanted to get rid of the electrical wall socket. You can see that it's not working. I am running windows 8 in a 64-bit environtment and running the 64-bit version of Photoshop CS5.5

In my opinion, there's nothing wrong with your choice of Spot Healing Brush for this image. I cropped your screenshot to the "BEFORE" image, removed the "BEFORE" type (with the SHB) and scaled to 600% to match your original document.
A dab of a 0% hardness 500 pixel Spot Healing Brush in Ps CS5.1 on OS X 10.6.8 worked perfectly. However, I would have made a vertical stroke with the brush at about 80% hardness and about 200 pixels, which also works for me.
Maybe your SHB is working in "Create Texture" mode despite specifying "Proximity Match" in Options bar. Try resetting the SHB by right-clicking its icon at left of Options bar and picking "Reset Tool" from the menu that appears.

Won't detect wifi unless manually set

Over the past month or so, my wifi at home is not detected unless I manually go to settings and ask it to look for the network. Only at that time does it look for it. I've tried resetting but this doesn't really do anything different. Any work around?

Hello. Sorry to hear your having this issue. Posted below is some troubleshooting that may assist you with this issue today.
1. Settings- WiFi- make sure ask to join networks is turned on.
When this is on and it spots your network for the first time. It will put in on your list of approved networks. So if you walk out of your house and come back in, It should auto connect back to that network.
This setting is only turned off when you know your only going to be in certain areas, and already logged onto those networks at least once. So your not annoyed by all the open and secure networks in the area, and to conserve battery life.
2. Setting- General- Reset- Reset Network Settings, Confirm see if this fixes the issue. You will of course need to log onto your network at least once. Anytime after this as long as WiFi is on it should auto connect to that network assuming no other networks are in range that have a stronger signal and that you approved of before.
3. Settings- WiFi- if your network has a check mark. Tap on the blue circle. and Tap on Forget this network. Confirm. Reconnect to your network. And see if it will always auto connect when you leave range and come back into range. You may need to go a couple blocks down from your house for the signal to break and hit over to EDGE
4. Reboot the iPhone. Hold down the Home Button and the Sleep/Wake/Unlock Button till you see a Apple Logo. Then let go. And retest your WiFi
5. As a last and final step. Restore the iPhone. Please ensure you backup all Data before you do this. And ensure the data is on your Mac/PC so it can be Synced back to iPhone.

KeyPressed / collision detection

I have a tile based platformer I am making and am having some trouble with the collision detection. I have it so that the game detects a collision before it actually occurs so that it wont happen in the game. However, it only appears to works right if i tap the arrow key into the wall, and if i hold the arrow key down i fly right through the tile until i let go (if i let go inside a block the hero gets stuck because it detects a collision anywhere i try to move after that). At this time i had the new coordinate to detect collision based on which direction i was moving gotten from keyPressed. Since this didnt work (assumed it was because the game loop and keyPressed dont take turns performing their actions) I made the new coordinate collision be detected from a method called in the main game loop and the result was that if I held down the key and flew into a wall, it doesnt stop exactly at the right spot (but I cant go through an entire row of tiles) but when I go the opposite direction from the collision (open space should work fine) it works fine until a point where in mid air it acts like a collision occured.
I have tried very hard to find the error in my code concerning the collision detection and need to make sure these problems arent a result of limitations of keyPressed or something, but rather just the code i've written

ok well I now have it set up so that before the hero moves it checks to see if the move is valid from each pixel starting at the hero to the length the hero moves in 1 directional press (using a rectangle that is the size of the hero, then has width 1 pixel larger etc until reaches the length of a move). The collision detection method returns true if there is a collision at any point, false otherwise. I tried to put the method in both the keyPressed method (for each case of a directional key pressed) as well as in the main game loop (not both at the same time) and neither worked perfectly and both worked about the same. Now the problem is that as long as the hero approaches the tile from a far away distance it works perfectly (a tile is 40 pixels in width and hero is 30), it appears that if the hero approaches from around 40 pixels out it will work but anything less and it will go through the tile as far from the 40 pixel mark it started (ie if hero starts at 37 pixels from tile and moves, it will go through the tile 3 pixels) then it can only travel back to the position it started even if there is no collision detected. Again, it appears that the hero must be about 40 pixels out (not sure if this is coincidence or it is exactly the length of the tile for a reason). Really can't figure this out, dont think there is a problem with the code i have written but probably i'm approaching the solution wrong

[SOLVED] Network interface enp2s0 no longer detected

Hello,
Yesterday after rebooting, right after Grub, systemd-fsck does its stuff (clearing blocks, etc...) then nothing.
After a quick research I've found that removing "quiet" from the Grub command line would allow more messages to be displayed, which was quite helpful.
This is in fact not a partition mounting problem, here is what I have:

I obviously have a networking problem (and probably a "Graphical Interface" or Nvidia related thing problem), so I log in another console, and after doing ip link list, I only have the loopback listed, no enp2s0 or WiFi interface, for some reason they are no longer detected.
I've run the live version of Arch to mount and arch-chroot my partitions, not to mention my network interfaces are detected and I can upgrade things with pacman, I've tried to disable dhcpcd on enp2s0 to avoid the time out thing, and while I can say it does what it's supposed to do, it doesn't solve anything anyway since I'm still stuck at Reached target Graphical Interface. (and don't have any network access, to state the obvious).
I've even thought about a Kernel/Driver problem after an update, but I'm not sure, any idea or some log I can have a look at ?

Rogue Detection and SPT issues

Deployed wireless a few months. From a client to infrastrure standpoint, majority of users are happy with the ability to go wireless with their personal and work devices.
The problem we're facing is proper identification of rogue's AP's on our wired network (hot spots aren't important)
I've setup a few linksys AP's connected to our access switches and found WLC/PRIME finds the rogue AP's but when a SPT is performed, both WLC/PRIME state it's not on the wired network (which is not true). If I do a manual trace, in Prime, it will work but I can't do a manual trace everytime I get an alert (we're in a major US city). Further investigation shows the lan and wlan mac address of this linksys router is +/- from one another (confirmed by with arp table on access switch and going into prime and looking at the alert).. Which in this case, Prime should see it as WIRED and mark it as a ROGUE and alert me

I can't see how these are the only supported devices, most are older than the 4510. I posted this in another thread and a rep provided me the link

This does not mention a limitation of switches support. States if CDP and SNMP is enable, along with the local access switches added to PRIME it should work
Here is the currently list of deployed devices, code and basic configuration
Access Switches - 4510 - image: cat4500e-universalk9.SPA.03.02.02.SG.150-2.SG2.bin
WLC - 5500 - image 7.4.103.9
AIR-CAP3602I-A-K9 - 152 deployed, 151 are configured for Local Mode, 1 is configured as Rogue Detector (trunked with all access vlan's passing thru)
RLDP is enabled on all Local Mode AP's - which after reading is not best practice because of time slicing and the fact is degrades client quality and can kick users off
Basically looking for feedback from others who have deployed wireless and have succesfully configured their environement for ROGUE AP DETECTION with SPT.. What are your thoughts and what do you run?

Complaints about the performance of Switchport Tracing are pretty common. The best way to build this out is to start with your planted rogue AP is connected to the same switch that your Prime Infrastructure server connects to--or the first wired switch that ESX/ESXi host connects to--and validate that it works there, make whatever changes you need to get it working, then move the planted rogue AP to the next switch and so on. The logging modules Configuration, General, Monitor, GUI, System and Tools should cover everything you need to know why Switchport Tracing isn't giving the results you expect. This "start small and work your way up" helps you learn lessons about what needs to be configured on all your switches to have it working the way you want it to.
