Spotify won't return my money back

I cancelled my Premium suscription without having it used. I have sent several emails asking for a refund as their policy in the UE allows a refund if the suscription is canceled within 15 days and the user has not "used" the suscription.
I had no response of any of the emails.
As consequence, I gave order to my bank to cancel the operation so that THEY return the money back and also I filed a formal complaint in my local institution.
I just posted so that you were aware, I'm certainly not giving a single cent to this company in the future.
 

I attempted to cancell my account the FIRST time on 10/2/14 and I'm still getting charged TWICE a month for 9.99 to my credit card and because of which have encountered late fees on my credit card I barely use... I am fed up with this and want a refund of all charges from my first time trying to cancell as well as any late fees charged to my credit card because of your 'service' my first case number was 01868687.

    If you bought Reader, you were swindled, because it's a free program. And it has never been able of converting PDF files to any other format.

  • Spotify Won't Pause - keeps going back to play (CarPlay)

    Using Spotify on iPhone 5s with Panasonic AppRadio 4 in CarPlay mode.  Getting the regular (already reported bugs) but one I can't find anywhere - when I hit PAUSE, on the unit or the app on the phone directly after a few seconds the music starts playing again. It's SO frustrating not being able to pause a song! Also if a call comes in, you answer the call the music pauses and then at some point during the call the music starts playing again in the background! Very off-putting, pretty sure the caller can't hear the music but you then have to force the app closed on the iPhone which is not entirely safe whilst driving! Also the length it pauses for varies each time, sometimes only 1 second, sometimes 5 seconds but each and every time I hit pause on either the app or the AppRadio 4 the song will start playing again. Any thoughts/ideas anyone?

    Hi Rorey, OK here you go.  Deleted and Re-Installed Spotify today.   - Spotify Version 3.2.0- Firmware Version of the CarPlay unit (Pioneer AppRadio 4 Firmware V 1.0.7)- Steps to reproduce: 1. Connected my iPhone 5s running iOS 8.3 (12F70) to my Pioneer AppRadio 4 via Lightning Cable in USB port 1. 2. When CarPlay was showing on the car radio display, scrolled to the SPOTIFY app and selected it3. Went to My Music / Playlists and selected one of my playlists.4. Selected SHUFFLE PLAY.5a. Due to another bug with your Carplay app, the song started playing (well I guess it was playing as I went to the app on my iPhone and the progress bar was moving, but there was no audio coming from the AppRadio 4)5b. Went to Pioneers own UI, pressed Pause on the Spotify App on the phone and pressed Play on the Spotify App on the phone. This then kicked the audio in on the AppRadio 4.6. Went back to the CarPlay Spotify App and selected Now Playing - artist/title information and Play/Pause and Skip buttons displayed.7. When song was playing (and now audible) pressed the PAUSE button on the AppRadio 4 unit. Song pauses for approx. 3 seconds (on the phone app the duration times from the progress bar dissappear). Song then starts playing again (duration times appear back on the progress bar on the phone app). 8. Just to check, I select PAUSE on the app on the phone, song pauses for approx. 1 second this time, song starts playing again. 9. And just to be ultra sure, I go to the Pioneer UI on the AppRadio 4 and press PAUSE on here, the song pauses and re-starts again in a few seconds. 10. Make a phone call, using SIRI. During the SIRI process music is paused. Once the call is placed and the ringing tone is heard, song starts playing again. Music cannot be heard by the caller but is very distracting when trying to talk to someone.  This is so so annoying and I'm not entirely sure if this is a recent bug or something that's always been there as I've only had the AppRadio for a short time but others above saying it's only occuring in a recent release. I hope you can fix this because Spotify is barely usable anyway - this bug makes it very frustrating and Apple Music sounds like a good deal to me as a paying customer. Chris.

    This is the situation.
    My 2-year contract ended on 1-15-2015, and I ordered a new device iphone 6 plus (64G) on 1-13-2015 and selected Edge plan (I line, 1GB data, unlimited call and message from 1-15-2015, totally price $80/ month). I had a live chat with a lady and a man, and also confirmed it with call. 
    Now I found that the bill became $183 !!!  6GB data is stead of 1GB. The stupid thing is that I paid the same amount ($183) last month as I thought first month charged more because of handing fee.... Now this month It also 183. So I contact with LIVE chat person and ask them to check the LIVE CHAT record to compensate the losses. They told me that they can't enter the record and can't make this remedy. 
    So, why do I need take resposible for this mistake? Why do I need pay $200 more? Why can't your guys see the record and find the evidences? Actually I only use 20% data of 1GB, why you HELP me order 6GB?

    Well here on the Apple Support Communities you are talking to other users just like yourself and not Apple. We are not able to to do anything about your credit card.
    My suggestion it to call your credit card company and ask them to deny payment. Once you have done that it will get someone attention and they will start talking to you seriously.

    You will have to contact the Apple Store you bought the card from and ask, but if you scratched off the coating to expose the redemption code, then no, they won't take it back.

  • Verizon won't give me my money back!!

    On December 30, 2011, Verizon pulled two payments from my checking account.  This overdrew my account.  Now, they are telling me in order to get my money back I have to wait ten BUSINESS days for some odd reason, or to EXPEDITE the return of MY money, I would have to send them a copy of my bank statement showing I am no longer overdrawn.  The reason they told me they need my bank statement is because "banks won't take money from outside sources if you're overdrawn".  In whose universe is that correct?  I'm not going to get my overdraft fee, I've already been told that, and I am supposed to get my money back on January 18.  A full 20 days after Verizon overdrew me.  They are also not going to refund the whole amount.  Only the amount that's left over after I pay a bill that isn't even due yet.  I cannot believe that a company would actually hold someone's money for that long, especially after they've been informed (at least three times) they overdrew me.  How long would they wait if my payment was sent back due to insufficient funds????  The story I'm being given is there is an "offline team" that takes care of these things and NO ONE has the number for them.  It all has to be done with forms.  I guess it's time to start lookiing for a new provider even though I never had an issue with Verizon until now. 

    Verizon required me to place a deposit on my account saying I'd get it back within 6 months of service. It's been over two years and I still haven't be given it back. I've called and can't get an honest response; I get transferred to different departments who say different things. I contacted the BBB about this and Verizon said that unless my payment history is crystal perfect including advance payments they don't have to return it. I found out this information after complaining to the BBB, if this was their policy they never told me about it. I'd switch to a different provider but I doubt I'd get my deposit back because Verizon is basically holding it hostage so I stay with them. I wouldn't doubt that the "positive" feedback you're getting is in fact Verizon moonlighting as actual customers who are giddy about Verizon.
    Verizon did to a family member when we switched to "friends and family" what they are doing to you. Verizon overdrew over $500 bucks from the initial payment after the service was set up. They never gave it back and only sent rebates that didn't equal what they withdrew. This was of course acting ignorant to what they did. I love the fact that they say that those who make the decisions to remedy their mistakes which Verizon will never admit to are in fact, people you can't reach in anyway whatsoever. It's like some kind of hidden death panel if it even exists.

    My Mother did what you said for the Spam and my number was in there about 100 times. She deleted all them. Deleted me as a contact and then rebooted, then she text me and I text her back and I went right into the Spam again. I told her to tell TMobile this so then can maybe help and remove my number from Spam on their end.\

    A refund may not be possible since the terms of sale for the iTunes Store, as Joey said, state that all sales are final. You can contact the iTunes Store, explain the reason for your request, and ask, though:

    It's possible they'll make an exception for you. An exception is more likely if the app is defective in some way or doesn't do what the developer advertised and the developer has been unable or unwilling to help you.
