Sqlplus prompt and ctrl c command

Hi,
I am running into one situation in which i tried to login to one of our database(testdb) running on 10.2.0.5 from remote host using sqlplus(11R2 version) command and tried Ctrl+C right after login. It disconnected my session with following message. Is this a bug? It doesn't happen with other oracle version. Any idea what's happening here?

Whenever I want to open my history (CTRL+H) or my bookmarks (CTRL+B), I use those commands. They've always worked. Yesterday, they mysteriously stopped working. Every other CTRL+KEY command still works flawlessly.

I would right click on 1.jpg. Select Open with... Select Choose default program... Pick Photoshop and make sure you check "always use the selected program to open this kind of file."

2821 with AIM-CUE card echoing prompt and command entered

Is there any way to control the prompt on AIM cards? I have a command reference for 3.0 and above, but the normal config commands like "prompt ..." don't exist.
The problem this device presents is that it does not output a clean text-based prompt, such as "CUE-48101# " in response to a command or carriage return. Instead it appears to output the following:
<cr><esc>[0;1mCUE-48101<bs>1#<bs># <bs>
Here, <bs> is backspace, <esc> is the escape character, <cr> is the carriage return. Visually it seems fine to a user at the terminal, but for a program it's a nightmare. In addition, the device is echoing both the prompt and the command issued, so my ability to know when the output has stopped is compromised.
My understanding is that there's a Linux kernel underneath, that implements the IOS-like command syntax from the user, but I don't know how to disable this ridiculous painting of the screen. Any insights you can provide are greatly appreciated.

Group policy to disable command prompt and disable registry editter

I have enabled in group policy that it prevents access to the command prompt and that it prevents access to registry editing tools and this doesnt seem to be taking effort on the test computer.

I've found the best way is to leave the desktop locked down and use PSEXEC to make edits and changes.

command prompt was used before the development of IDEs like RAD,eclipse etc.
its still used for better understanding of the compilation and errors.
type the java file and save the file(source file) in the bin folder of ur jdk environment with extension .java. the source file must be the one that has the main method declared.
in the cmd prompt screen , set the path of bin folder.
eg:C:/program files/jdk(some version)/bin/...
for compilation,type:
javac (source file_name).java and press enter
for running the file:
java source file_name

I am trying this. Take an object, move it some inches on the right while holding the option key, so I duplicate it.
Usually, I pressed on command+d to duplicate this action on and on (duplicate the object and moving it some inches away), but now it is not working.

It may be time for the list:
The following is a general list of things you may try when the issue is not in a specific file, and when it is not caused by issues with opening a file from external media. You may have tried/done some of them already; 1) and 2) are the easy ones for temporary strangenesses, and 3) and 4) are specifically aimed at possibly corrupt preferences); 5) is a list in itself, and 6) is the last resort.
If possible/applicable, you should save current artwork first, of course.
1) Close down Illy and open again;
2) Restart the computer (you may do that up to at least 5 times);
3) Close down Illy and press Ctrl+Alt+Shift/Cmd+Option+Shift during startup (easy but irreversible);
4) Move the folder (follow the link with that name) with Illy closed (more tedious but also more thorough and reversible), for CS3 - CC you may find the folder here:

5) Look through and try out the relevant among the Other options (follow the link with that name, Item 7) is a list of usual suspects among other applications that may disturb and confuse Illy, Item 15) applies to CC, CS6, and maybe CS5);

Sorting Bookmarks in the Library window (Bookmarks > Organize Bookmarks) is for temporary display. The Bookmarks are not permanently sorted.
To permanently sort, open the Bookmarks Sidebar (Ctrl+B opens or closes the Bookmarks Sidebar ---- Cmd+B in OSX), right-click (Cmd+click in OSX) the "Bookmarks Menu" folder and choose "Sort by Name".

[SOLVED] Ctrl+Alt+S and Ctrl+Alt+O Blocked by ?

Hi!
On a new arch+gnome system, I cannot bind any command to the Ctrl+Alt+O and Ctrl+Alt+S shortcuts in pycharm.
Going through all the shortcuts in gnomes' Keyboard > Shortcuts and via dconf-editor, I cannot find any program that binds to these shortcuts.
Any advice?

When using xbindkeys -k , I get this for ctrl+alt+s or ctrl+alt+o:

Which is very strange, because it does work correctly for other shortcuts, for example, ctrl+alt+a:

is there any way to disable the Copy/Paste function in the SAPGUI? Especially disabling the key commands CTRL-Y and CTRL-C.
The customer would like to disable any kind of copy function

I have seen this before for ALV grids, but am not sure whether it was a missing feature or infact an intended and possibly optional one.
I suspect the former case to be true, so you will need to use SAPGui engineering to disable it and ensure that the users cannot connect from a machine they have control over to the server or an older SAPGui version. These sort of preferences have typically also been HKEY_CURRENT_USER settings so you might have trouble retro-fitting it as well.
Which SAPGui version are you using? There is a new "SAPGui Security Center" available in 7.20 which might offer this control (amongst several others).

F11 and ctrl+F11 not retrieving the last search

I have created a form in oracle 10g.where F11 is enter-query and ctrl+F11 is execute-query.
Every time its working fine.When ever I give any input and press ctrl+F11 its being executed and then if I press F11 then going to enter-query mode.
But my problem is :-
If I open the form and without giving any i/p I press F11 and ctrl+F11 consecutively then it should show the last search.While in my form its just asking to select a new search/query.

First queried in the form,then without closing that in the same session I pressed F11 twice.
But I am getting an error-
FRM-41009: Function key not allowed. Press %s for list of valid keys.
I have checked function key mapping its alright-F11:= enter query.
I have given some messages to check the mode of the form at different position.

How to release the prompt and how to stop JVM afterwords

There are 2 related questions here:
(1st) I have a Java class that I'd like to start and release the command prompt. In Linux, I usually start it this way:
> java MyClass &
But in Windows I can't do that, it always holds the command prompt open. If I try this way:
> javaw MyClass
it works, but if I call it from inside a batch file, it opens a command prompt (then I can close the command prompt and it remains in memory). But I'd like it not to open any command prompt. Does anyone know a way?
(2nd) I'd like to start the class above like we do for some services... I thought of doing somethind like this:
> java MyClass -start
This, after solving the (1st) question, looks easy. The problem is: how to implement this class in order to be able to call
> java MyClass -stop
to stop it, finishing its JVM? How will this class be able to detect an instance of itself in memory and stop it??? Is there something simpler than using sockets for that purpose?

Well, the first is easy - instead of starting with java.exe, use javaw.exe. No more icky command prompt. ;-)
The second one is trickier. If you really want to go that route, I'd suggest looking at the Tomcat bootstrap code - it listens on a specific port for program handling commands.

Please, I need to generate a PDF file from a spool number, I'm trying to use the function 'CONVERT_ABAPSPOOLJOB_2_PDF', but it isn't working properly.
Somebody has a example code?
I need to change the printer button command and change the command of printer menu, for generate a PDF file directly when the user click in printer button or acess printer menu (Ctrl+P)...
I need to know how to generate this PDF file.
For example, the user generate the report normaly and after that if it clicks on printer button o select printer command on menu, this report will be converted in a PDF file.
Somebody could help me please?
Or somebody has a example code?
