SRM 4.0 (SERVER 5.0) integration

I need to store <b>ShoppingCart</b> with  <b>Items</b>, <b>Products</b> and <b>Attachment</b> with binary files into SRM from Legacy.
I have read forum and I have found 3 ways:
RFC: BBP_PD_SC_CREATE
RFC: BBP_PD_SC_CREATE_EXTERNAL
BAPI: BAPI_SCEC_CREATE
There are many questions about BBP_PD_SC_CREATE_EXTERNAL
and BAPI_SCEC_CREATE without answer.
Has somebody performed successfully integration with SRM using these functions? (BBP_PD_SC_CREATE_EXTERNAL, BAPI_SCEC_CREATE)
Is there a success story?
Unfortunalely there is no blog/documentation  about it.
What is your suggestions which funtion do I need to use?

Hi Sergey,
I heard few cases where they have done successfully creating SC from files using RFC: BBP_PD_SC_CREATE_EXTERNAL. This calls internally RFC: BBP_PD_SC_CREATE.
In case of Plan Driven procurment, SC is created in SRM using BAPI: BAPI_SCEC_CREATE using R/3 PR data, which is out of box.
You just have to mimick the SAP logic, it is definitely possible. As you said SDN Forum has sufficient info on this.
Thanks,
Jay

  • SRM 5.5 as an add-on on ECC 6.0 vs SAP SRM 5.5 server

    Hi
Are  there any limitations if we go with SAP SRM 5.5 Server as an add-on on ECC 6.0 compared to Implementation of SAP SRM 5.5 server on its own.
FYI-We just have one ERP Back-end system.
BTW, what is the difference between SAP SRM server 5.5 vs SAP SRM server 5.5 Plus.
    Thanks in advance.
    Thanks & Regards,

    Hi
    Summary:
You can use classic scenario in Add-on.
You can use self-service procurement and SUS in Add-on.
You cannot have Sourcing and other scenarios.
No migration from Add-on to Separate server available.

  • SSIS 2012 Error - The SQL Server specified in Integration Services service configuration is not present or is not available..

    hi Guys,
working on below error if anyone has work around.
It is on SQL Server 2012 cluster.
The SQL Server specified in Integration Services service configuration is not present or is not available. This might occur when there is no default instance of SQL Server on the computer. For more information, see the topic "Configuring
the Integration Services Service" in SQL Server 2012 Books Online.
Please Mark As Answer if it is helpful. \\Aim To Inspire Rather to Teach

    Hi Logicinisde,
This issue might be caused that we install named instance on the machine, or the default instance listening a different port rather than the default one.
To solve this issue, please refer to the following article for detail information:

    hello,
I am configuring sharepoint sql server 2008 r2 integration in two server which is an intranet with domain access,i have integrated sharepoint ssrs .When i access report ,report builder ,data source it is working properly, but when i access from any other
machine it asks for user credential ,when i given it is not going inside, even i tried with administrator access.
I am using NTLM integration and Windows Authentication in report services integration.
    Please help.
    thanks

From memory you pretty much have to use Kerberos for SSRS as you hit the double hop authentication issue.

  • CFolder & SRM on same server that too be on same client

    Hi,
We are using SRM 7.0 with PPS. In our case, both the C-folders(PLM suite-Add on component) as well as the SRM server are on the same box that too same client. So would we need to create the new RFC and Logical system for cFolders also. As we are having both the components (C-folders and SRM) on same server that too be on same client.
    Earlier responce would be appreciated.
    Regards,
    SRM Team

    Hi Venkat,
while i am doing the configuration in the system landscape node by defining the entry for the cfolder in this. System is not allowing me to do the same. System is giving an error that entry with this already exist. As I have already explain that my SRM and Cfolder are on the same server that too be on same client. So while I am doing this configuration one entry is already ther for SRM system with the same logical system.
Can you please give your suggestions on this.

    Hi,
Pls let me know the latest support pack for sap srm 5.0(server 5.5).
    Thanks,

    Hi Muthu,
if we take e.g. note 1302207. This was created a short while ago after SP14 was delivered. It has to be included in the next support package.
So the entry with SP15 here means that it is included in SP15 if it is released.
    Hope that i could help.

  • Outlook integration backend server based outlook integration

    Hello ,
we are usering CRM 7.0 with backend server based outlook integration.  We are using the  'Customer and Contact ' subscription.
The business partner is not assigned to the zip code subscribed , but when the user is main person responsible on an activity the activity is distributed. WHY ?  What table is used ? Why only the main person responsible and not all person responsible ?
Has anyone a more detailed debugging docu for this area  ?
    thanks
    Juergen Ritz

    Kiran,
The answer to your question, is you need to follow the groupware integration guides for CRM 40 as the instructions are the same.  The only thing that changes is the mapbox is now an ABAP program, so you can ignore the mapbox configuration steps in those documents(but still excute the customizing downloads).
Look at OSS Note 1156271 for more details.  I just finished up doing groupware integration with Notes, but the general steps are the same, minus the notes/exchange specific steps which are detailed in the standard documentation.
    Take care,
    Stephen

  • SQL Server Reporting Services Integration

If anyone has been considering looking at SQL Services Reporting Service, a business intelligence tool from Microsoft, you will be glad to know that I have just submitted a project to code share that provides integration between SSRS and the Plumtree portal.
In brief, the integration code implemements the iAuthenticationExtension and iAuthorizationExtension interfaces, allowing SSRS to authenticate plumtree users and authorize them based on plumtree groups.
It might be a few days before it is available on code share, as it has to be manually reviewed.
Caveat: it works in Firefox/Safari, but not quite so nice as it does in IE.  This is a Microsoft BI tool, after all. :)

    Hi, Tim.
The description and questions were brought up in an email conversation
    with a developer:
There seems to be a disconnect between the Plumtree environment and Microsoft's SQL Server Reporting Services.
The present configuration: .Net version of Plumtree 5.0.4 suite of servers Windows 2000 Server SP4 (fully patched) SQL Server 2000 with latest patches SQL Server Reporting Services 2000 with latest patches
The app in question gathers SSRS reporting criteria via .NET web pages.
The disconnect occurs at the call to SSRS.
Without the gateway - the call to SSRS completes and a web page containing the report is displayed.
With the gateway - the call to SSRS does not complete and no report is displayed.
I understand this is a problem that has been reported on the DevCenter.Plumtree.Com site by Tim Larson of Mission to the World
    URL =http://portal.plumtree.com/portal/server.pt/gateway/PTARGS_0_0_9690_0_0_47/http;/prodgadget14.plumtree.com/publishedcontent/publish/sc___code_share/code_source/articles/sql_server_reporting_services_integration_.html?qid=84973886&rank=2
Can the call to SSRS be accomplished if gatewaying is turned on for this app? - Is there a workaround? - not gatewaying the app is not an option

  • SQL Server 2005 Dev Integration Services Fail

I've got VS2005 v.8.0.50727.867 (vsvista.050727-8600) on my 64bit Windows 7 box.  I am trying to install SQL Server 2005 Integration Services on this Win7 box so I can load and edit the Win XP SSIS projects that I had on my XP box.  So far I've
not been able to successfully install the Integration Services with a failed permission on the SQL**DTD.msi file.....I've copied this file locally and tried to run it and it would start but then would give permission error.
Is there an inherent incompatibility running SSIS projects in SQL Server 2005 on a 64bit Win 7 box?  Worked great on my XP box.
I've been "upgrading" the SSIS projects to VS2008 since I was able to get SSIS installed. Any ideas what I need to do to get this beast to work?
    TIA

  • SRM 7.0 for Public Sector integrated with FM (Budget Control System)

    Hello!
I'm starting an implementation project of ERP 6.0 and SRM 7.0 for Public Sector.
It would be necesary the integration not only SRM with ERP but with FM (Fund Management), with BCS (Budget Control System) specifically.
Is it possible? has anyone experience on it?
Thks so much in advance and best regards!
    Marcela.-

    Hi,
Certainly... If you have FM implemented in your project, you will have to make integration with SRM.
I did it some 3 years ago and it was quite problematic (a lot of notes were created by SAP on this matter, also as initiative from our project), but since then, I assume, it should not pose specific problems.

    Eli

  • UCM 11g on Windows Server 2008 - AD Integration

We've been in the process of upgrading from 10gR3 to 11g, and we are also upgrading our server infrastructure from Windows Server 2003 to Windows Server 2008. In our 10g environment, we take advantage of the AD integration so that when users navigate to our Intranet, they are NOT challenged to log in. UCM simply uses their AD credentials. Same with when they are working with the DIS through Windows Explorer - no need to log in.
Very long story short - we cannot get this functionality working in 11g on Server 2008, even with Oracles help. The automatic AD integration in 11g needs to occur at the Weblogic level. As I understand it, for it to work, Windows must send an encrypted Kerberos ticket to WLS. WLS then has to decrypt it and then accept it. The problem is that Windows wants to send it encrypted in RC4-HMAC but WLS wants to decrypt it in DES. Hence, WLS cannot decrypt the ticket.
We have heard of people getting WLS to work with RC4, but Oracle have said that this is not supported. The alternative is to get Windows to send it in DES, but our NEtwork guys are not keen on this as they say it is a step down. It's also very complicated and a big impact to our domain. Oracle have said that AES will eventually be supported, but there is no timeframe for it.
Has anyone had any experience with this issue? I am interested in peoples thoughts and experiences in this area.

    Hi,
I heard from an Oracle employee that RC4 is not supported by Oracle.
We did make tests with AD on Windows2003 and AD on Windows2008 with RC4 and DES encryption and it is working in both cases. Our weblogic server is installed on Windows2008R2 in both cases.
    -Making it work on Windows2008
--Requires to use ktpass instead of using setspn and ktab
    -Making it work on Windows2003
--Requires to use ktpass instead of using setspn and ktab
--Requires to set the DefaultEncryptionType to 1, if DES encryption should be used.
Both solutions require a lot of time for first time installation :-)
    Greetings
    Tobi

    Hello all,
I am soliciting opinions on how to implement this system:
We have one portion of the system created, Java Client communicating with
a Java server (EJB) running on Weblogic. There is another application inthe
company that has expressed interest in using some of the logic containedin
    our
servers, this application, however, is written in VB. I understand that
    Weblogic has a
mechanism that will allow java programs to call COM functions. Is there a
    way to
export a COM interface from a generic Java application? I was not able to
    find anything
about that in the weblogic documentation, maybe I missed something?...
As the VB app has no communication to our server as of yet, CORBA isanother
    option for us.
I also know that Weblogic has CORBA support and we could port our
    communication mechanism
to use that. I believe one would need to pay extra for that over and above
    their standard EJB server.
The question then becomes, would we need any features of the EJB server?
How does RMI-IIOP fit into this whole mess?
    Any opinions?

  • Move j2ee app. from bea server to bea integration server error

we have deployed 2 of our j2ee application with no errors on bea application server 8.1 sp4. and they work just fine.
now, when deployed the same 2 applications on intergation server 8.1 sp4, only 1 application works out. what i mean, if we access app.1 first it will work fine, and app.2 will not work at all. now if we restart the server and access app.2 first it will work fine and app.1 will not work .....
is there any differeces we should take into consideration before deploying on the integration server.
    help is urgently needed

You'd have to provide more details on what errors you're getting, the structure of your application, and what you're trying to do. I doubt anyone could figure out your problem without some of this information.
