Standard BW Extractor for Open/Cleared WITH Check #?

Hi-
Does anyone know of any standard extract structures /DS that can be used to extract FS-CD data WITH check number included on it? We have 0FC_BP_ITEMS, 0FC_RET, 0FC_PAY, however, none of them have check number included anywhere.

The requirement is to show Outstanding Balance not just as of today but as it was each month.
say item A was open in Jan through today
       item B was open Jan through March
       item C was open Jan and Feb
The report should show, item A in Months JAN, FEB, MARCH, APRIL
                                                B in Months JAN , FEB, MARCH
                                                C in Months JAN and FEB
With conventional reporting, there will be one entry for A in Jan as Open and when that closes in May, it will have a reverse entry for Jan and a After image for May.
What I need is to show A as Open in all Months through April, B Open in all months through March, etc.
Hence the name snapshot.

Monthly snapshot for Open / Cleared Cube

Can the standard Delta extractor 0FI_AR_4 be leveraged to get a monthly snapshot of Open and Closed items?
Open - All and Closed only for the past year.
Currently I am thinking of feeding a delta upto a standard DSO at the Account number, line item level.
The next level will be a Monthly DSO at the Business area level, which summarizes the open balance and weighted days to pay for cleared. This feeds to a Monthly snapshot Cube.
Now between the line item DSO and the Monthly DSO, I am thinking of Full loads that bring all the Open and only the past year of Cleared records. The way I build snapshot is, compare posting date of the documents to the current fiscal period. If the posting date is less than the current fiscal period, I duplicate that record and put it in the previous month and this current month. This way, we are building two months history at a time. And at the end of the current month, the previous month snapshot is frozen.
Is there a way with Deltas to accomplish a 12 month snapshot ( and not just two months with Full) ?

A: First Data Integrity, Selecting Particular Columns..
What is the use for creating a view with check option?
A: As per oracle manual I read that its a referential integrity check through views.
A: Enforcing constraints at DB level.
A: using CHECK OPTION we can do INSERTS UPDATES for a view for those columns who have no constraints... is it right??
A: If we do a INSERT OR UPDATE for columns who have constraints it will show error... is it right???

How do I change standard programs (f.i. opening PDF with acrobat instead of preview)

In the finder select the file and right click on the file and select "Get Info" from the drop down menu. In the files Info window that open, there will be several triangle with a title next to it (ie. General: , More Info: , Name & Extension: and then Open with: . If under the Open with title is just the next title "Preview", click the triangle to the left of Open with: so you see a drop down menu you can click on to see a list of application that can open that file. Select the program you want to use to open the file (if it's not in the list select "Other..." and locate the program in your Applications folder. Then click the "Change All.." button under the drop down menu in the "Open with:"

Well Gopi.. as per your requirement no need to use collective search help.
I guess you have three fields in selection-screen,out 3 fields you have two fields contains search help.
Create your user defined search help BWTAR ..

Best Extractors for "Open Order Reporting" at Header and Line Level

No I am still working on it and Problem is NOT solved. I took this project from the middle. Initial definition of Open Order was to report by tracking "Goods Movement Status" anything other then C as an Open Order. We were using 2LIS_11_VASCl and 2LIS_12_VCITM at that time. This process failed to track the "Partial Open Order"
It was soon realized that this definition is inadequate. Delivery Status in combination with Goods Movement Status should be accurately define an Open Order. I realized that if we install 0SD_C03 and supporting 7 exractors (Order: 2LIS_11_VAHDR, VAITM, V_ITM , Delivery : 2LIS_12_VCHDR, 2LIS_VCITM and Billing 2LIS_13_VDHDR, 2LIS_13_VDITM) - it will capture an Open Order more accurately. Also the design will integrate easily with future SCM Analytics more easily. I am still working on it and trying to install the Business Content.
I would like to get feedback and wisdom of someone who had done the same in past. I also want to get a feel, if it needed any additional customization of extractors etc.. If you could share any detail on this forum, it will be a help. You can also share the same on my e-mail: [email protected]

Report for Vendor payment with check no, reference

Hi Gurus;
My client issue one cheque against multiple vendor invoices and used F-53 to knockoff vendor invoices against this cheque.
He enter the check no. in assignment field.
Now, he want a report for - Which check is used to knockoff (Paid) which invoice.
Is there any way or report in SAP.

How about using the check register (transaction code S_P99_41000101) and select the radio button 'with items paid'. The report provides details such as check number, payment document, vendor invoice and other relavant details per bank account.

Preferences for Open Application With is not working (although preferences are saved/appearing. Thoughts?

Although the preferences for using certain applications to open downloaded files is set and saved (it still appears when accessed), the preferences are either not utilized automatically (for most files) or remembered at all for others (docx files). So, each time I try to download/open a docx file, I have to "browse" and tell firefox to use microsoft word, even though the preference is already set. I see that some people are having trouble with preferences being deleted, but that is not that case here. Thanks!

Logic for a report with check boxes

I m writting a report , I need to put FOUR check box in this report ,
For example you can say Check1 ( material1)
 Check2 ( material2)
 Check3 ( material3)
 Others
In selection critriea I defined one select option ( eg materail )
Now I have to diplay data accordingly checkboxes
If Check box 'check1' is selected -list must contains only material1
If Check box 'check2' is selected -list must contains only material2
If Check box 'check3' is selected -list must contains only material3
If Check box 'check1' or any other one is selected -list must contains material1 and other materail as per other selected check box .
If Check box others is selected then all other fields ( except the selected check box ) are the out put of this report .

How to set a keyboard shortcut for open with VLC player

Hey everyone!
I have reffered the earlier discussion upon creating a shortcut for the open with function and the below is the correct answer for it by using applescript editor submitted by Barney. However, I couldn't get past the 1st paragraph. It all just went over my head. Especially the "open (thefilelist) " part. Which filelist is being referred to here? All I want is a shortcut for opening files with .avi, .mpeg, and .3gp exts. with VLC player. Please help me out by providing the exact stuff I need to paste in the applescript.
