Standard heirarchy change

Dear All,
Currently we are facing a problem with changed standard cost center heriarchy in controlling area.
Earlier we were having the cost center heirarchy which has been changed by mistake. Again when we try to retain the original herirachy we getting an error of standard heirarchy cannot be changed.
Please help out in this regards.

Dear Eli,
We are getting the below error in controlling area settings not with in the standard heirarchy.
Standard hierarchy C8000 can no longer be changed.
Earlier in the controllling area settings the standard heirarchy was C1000 after that it has been changed to C8000 and when he try to retain the changes to C1000 the above error is getting reported.

I have a requirement to track the changes for Standard Heirarchy Cost Center data and whenever it change i need to initimate with email to certain group of people in organization.
Transaction code : OKEON .
Whenever standard heirarchy get changes then i need to send email to certain group people .
My findings and questions are as follows :
1. I understand that the changes can be track by using CDHDR table .
2. What is Object Class for Standard Heirarchy Cost Center ?
3. Is there any standard report available for that please let me know .
4. How to track the changes when Cost center Group got changes ?
5. Is there any exits or BADI for this requirement ?

You can try using the option GoTo - Change Documents, which is available, when you display cost center hierarchy.

Material standard price change!

I am trying to do a standard price change for a material using the message type 'materialvaluation_pricechang'
I configured the distribution model view and partner profiles for R/3 and XI.
When I tried to create an IDOC with test tool we19, it got created with status 51 (application doc not posted)
I got the following error. But in config I didn't see the step 'setup sending material prices'. I am working on SAP ECC 5.0.
The error description is as follows.
No Customizing data for valuation area 0013 found
Message no. CKMLSENDPRICE701
Diagnosis
The Customizing data for sending material prices to valuation area 0013 was not found.
System response
No price changes were made
Procedure
Edit the Customizing data for valuation area 0013 under Materials Management -> Valuation and Account Assignment -> Set Up Sending Material Prices

Please find the code below in bold. I am trying to change the standard price of the material. Hence ls_ckmlcr-vprsv = 'S'. This is why the following lines in the below code never executes
ls_matpr_cr-newpvprs = l_price.
ls_matpr_cr-newpvprs = ls_ckmlcr-pvprs.
And hence the below condition fails.
IF ls_matpr_cr-newpeinh = ls_matpr_cr-peinh AND
 ls_matpr_cr-newstprs = ls_matpr_cr-stprs AND

Transport Standard Text Changes

i have done some changes for the standard text in PB60.
   but those changes are not transported in to production
   i used
RSTXTRAN
program to transport changes
   after selecting relevant Object(TEXT,Z_JKH_LOA_GROUP,ST,E) -> selected 'Transfer texts to correction
   request' & then assigned relevant Transport Request to next step
   Some blogs says this is the way to do this.......... but it is not working somehow
   Can anybody help me to solve this issue

Hi Waruna,
You can transport the standard text changes with a new transport request using SE01.
In the new transport request provide the details as follows.
PgmID as R3TR
Obj as TEXT
Object nam as TEXT,Standard text name,Text id,Language.    Example: TEXT,ZSTTEXT,ST,E
After providing these details Save the CTS and release to transport.
This will deffinately solves your problem.

Outlook sync after Eastern Standard Time Change-All events are 1 hour late

After sync'ing with outlook this past weekend, all my iphone calendar events are 1 hour late. the Eastern Standard Time change must have affected this. The time on my phone and my laptop are the same however. Anyone experienced the same issue?

Standard screen changes-addition of a field in vendor master table

Hi Champs,
My requirement is to add a field in LFB1 table.
I have added the field in the table using append structure, that was fine.
I need to add the same for input/output on the screen 215 of program SAPMF02K (for the screen of Payment transaction Accounting at company code level).
The screen enhancement available for vendor master is for adding a new sub screen. But I need my field to be input/output on screen 215 of program SAPMF02K (for the screen of Payment transaction Accounting at company code level).
The only option left with me was to make changes in the Standard SAP screen as there are no enhancements available to suffice my requirement.
After taking the access key, if suppose i make changes in the standard screen viz. given a dictionary refrence to the new field created on screen 215. My query is do i need to do any kind of coding in PBO or PAI of the screen.
A quick reply would be overwhelming.

Ofcouse Nishanth, u need to code in PBO and PAI event.
PAI -> To read the User input and for doing validations or some thing as per ur requirement

Standard-report changes

in the standard transaction S_AHR_61015512 when i pass the values for data selection period between '01.11.2008' to '07.11.2008' and i cleared status(overall) and Applicant action is '04'. i am getting all the records below '07.11.2008' i wnat only the records between '01.11.2008' to '07.11.2008' so how to do this.. can anyone guide me .,
i copied this program and ransaction into zprogram and ztransaction here how to change the logic..

SCC4 standard currency change

Hi experts,
We want to upgrade SAP system form 4.7 to 6.0.
We set standard currency 'USD' in SCC4 in 4.7 version.
But for IFRS issue I need set group currency 'EUR' in FI document after upgrading,
So I need to change standard currency by using SCC4.
My question is any transation or report will be affectd?

If you are using Group Currency type for your company code in transaction OB22 then yes USD will no longer be there but the change one which is EUR..when you execute financial statements based on gorup currency will be affected.

Heirarchy Changes not displayed in query

Hi,
We are using 0ACCOUNT's heirarchy in a query.We changed the node of a particular range of account numbers from A to B.After changing the heirachy,saved and activated it.
The problem is when we execute the query,it stil shows that particular range of numbers under the old node A instead of showing it under new node B.
Any pointers on this would be of great help

GO to t-code RSH1 and check first if hiearachy is active.
Then run the hiearachy attribute change run.

Acrobat Standard Language Change?

I currently have a friend visiting from Europe, he has Adobe Acrobat 8 Standard edtion installed. He now has some issue and wanted my help with it. Unfortunately I can't read what looks like German to me. Is there a way I can change the language to English? Any help is appreciated!

During costing run, there is change in standard cost, system update this cost, How it is updated.
It is understand that the moving price is updated from GR/IR Clearance.

I was also in the same confusion in last few month,
See,
There are two Price in SAP,
1) Moving Average (MVP) , 2) Standard Price.
SAP recommend (MVP) for Raw material and other Consumables and Standard Price for Semi Finished and Finished.
Because finished Product with MVP has no control on your Price, it always Fluctuates.
Also SAP Does not always recommend to use MR21.
To have control on our finished product companies fix STD Price.
Say i make Refined oil at 50 rs per KG.
I know Approximate quantity of R/w and other consumable for Preparing 1 Kg oil
Say my components are
1) Crude oil 2 kg @ 10 rs kg = 20 rs MVP
2) Hexane 3 KG
3) Sulphuric acid, Bleching powder, degum powder 3 kg each.
This is where my BOM is Defined.
Now labour charge is 10 /hr , electricity 2000 kw, OVHD 2000 rs.
This is where i prepare Routing, Now i club BOM and Routing to Production Version.
My Plan is fix, it my rarely change .
Now when i run CK 11n System fetch data from Prd Version, Calculate STD price.
If Suppose u say Crude oil heaxane rate per KG has changed, say Crude is nw 30 rs /kg. or my labour hr has increased,
Since my FM is std , Now i dont want to change using MR21, so nw change BOM routing to Future plan and run CK11n mark and
release for future price.

Standard Objects changed in SAP upgrade

Is there any kind of database available that describes what standard components (like tables, includes, FMs, programs etc) have changed in the new release.
For e.g. I am upgrading my system from 4.6C to ECC6, and table XYZ has changed in the new release, I need to fix Z program using table XYZ.
Is any such data available?

Thanks for the inputs but I think there's small confusion. SPDD & SPAU will give be changed objects during upgrade only if they are modified by customer.
Let me try to clarify my question. I am trying to find out all the standard SAP objects that have undergone some change from old release to new.
For e.g. some table in 4.7 had 25 fields and in ECC5 (next release) SAP added 2 more fields.
Now this table may not be modified by customer, hence the change would be transparent to customer. This won't be stuck up in SPDD either during upgrade.
Same for ay standard program / include / function module.
Hope I am clear in explaining my requirement.
