Start Applet with libraries beyond the codebase

Hello,
i want to restructure my application that provides an applet. Currently there is one location on the webserver where all artifacts are stored.
Status quo:
http://server/contextrootA/index.html
http://server/contextrootA/applets/applet.jar
http://server/contextrootA/applets/artifactA.jar
http://server/contextrootA/applets/artifactB.jar
The index.html embeds the applet, the codebase is set to "applets", the manifest file of the applet contains the property "Class-path: artifactA.jar artifactB.jar"
Everything works.
Now I want to split the artifacts in two locations. Here is a schema:
New architecture:

http://server/contextrootB/applets/artifactB.jar
I changed only the manifest file of the applet contains the property "Class-path: artifactA.jar ../../contextrootB/artifactB.jar". The code base is still "applets" within the "contextrootA" (http://server/contextrootA/applets/)
Now if I start the applet I see in java plugin console that all artifacts are downloaded, but i get a ClassDefNotFound exception, because the classes from artifactB.jar could not be found.
Everything works, if I disable the "mixed code security check" in the java plugin settings.
Is it possible to realize my approach without disable the mixed code security check?

we use Application Server 10gR2 with Java 1.6.0_20 and we start the applet with an JNLP File.
When I use the url http://lhhap03/forms/java the applet starts as it should. But when I change the entry to http://192.168.17.208/forms/java i get the error:

Now I´m a little bit confused why i can´t use the ip address instead of the dns name from the server?

Problem Solved, I put many environment variables in the .bash_profile file, the CLASS_PATH will overwrite the weblogic server's classpath during startup.
Remove them and restart server solved my problem.

My 5800 wont start with the memory card inside the phone. When the card is in the phone it just hangs with a white screen displaying the word NOKIA. When the card is removed the phone can be powered on and off without any issues. Any ideas?

is the card compatible ?it could also be a corrupt memory card. you can either try to reformat it via computer using the mass memory mode via usb and also store your data on the computer. try another card and see if the same thing happens. you might not be able to format the memory card you currently use, but if you are lucky enough you might be able. if you do indeed suceed you can try that card in the phone and see how that works.

I am having trouble with app updates on my iOS 5 iPhone never getting beyond the "waiting" state. I have tried signing out/in of my account, rebooting and removing/re-installing the apps. This started shortly after going to iOS 5 but I am not certain if that is related. All updates that I try now are stuck in "waiting". I also tried removing the apps and then installing via iTunes desktop sync with no improvement. The only thing that I have not tried so far is a restore to a prior iPhone backup. I have not been able to find anything to indciate what the updates on waiting on. There is plenty of space on the iPhone (16gb available). Any suggestions on what to try next?

First thing I would recommend is to check your downloads queue to make sure there is not an interrupted download per the following Knowledge Base article:

If your download was interrupted using your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
1. From the Home screen, tap the iTunes app.
2. For iPhone or iPod touch, tap More > Downloads. For iPad, tap Downloads.
3. Enter your account name and password if prompted.
4. Tap the blue download arrow to resume.
If you can't complete the download on your iOS device, you can download it in iTunes on your Mac or PC and then sync it to your iOS device. You can also transfer purchases from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to a computer.
For Apps, you can also try tapping on the application icon to resume the download, as outline in this featured discussion:

Try tapping the App, so that it changes to Paused instead of Waiting, then tap it again to resume the install.
Make sure you don't have any paused downloads in other apps either, like the App Store or iTunes Store.
If that doesn't do it, try resetting or restoring the iPhone.

How can I start anew with Photos and clear the (minimal) stuff it has uploaded

I've about had it up to here with this new Photos scheme. I reorganised my Aperture libraries on both my iMac and MBA in preparation for this, delayed turning Photos on for a couple of days until I thought everything was ready based upon the limited advice that was out there, and then got stuck in an endless loop of "uploading" and "preparing" every time I opened Photos. There are 19,975 images in my Aperture library on the iMac. I was stuck at Uploading at anywhere between that number and 19,000 with no progress after hours of waiting. I tried all the tricks mentioned here including re booting, restarting the app, repairing/rebuilding the database, killing the "cloudd" process, etc.today Today when I restarted Photos, it now said I had 23,775 images to upload- 4000
more than I have-and of course it got stuck there, like it has for the last week.
I copied the previous Aperture library (pre Photos migration)back to my iMac and opened it in Aperture. Thankfully, all the photos I had taken on my iPhone this week during this Photos clusterphuck transition were in the Aperture Stream so I didn't lose any of those. I'm willing to give this whole thing one more shot. So i need some advice. How can I start anew with Photos and clear the (minimal) stuff it has uploaded (about 6000 of 19,000 images in the last 7 days) ? If I simply delete the Photos.photolibrary file will that do the trick and lt me start a new fresh library using?

It is hard to say from your post, why the migration did not succeed in your case.
by "stuck on upload" do you mean, you opened the Aperture library in Photos, and Photos converted it to a Photo Library, and then the upload to iCloud Photo Library did hang? Or did already the upgrade to the Photo Library fail?
If you want the Aperture library to upload to iCloud Photo Library, it needs to be on a disk formatted MacOS Extended (Journaled) and the original image files must not be referenced. Referenced originals will not upload.
Also, the upload may hang, if you do not have enough free iCloud storage, orr if one of the videos or photos in your library is in an unsupported format or corrupted.
To start over, try to repair and rebuild the Aperture library before opening it in Photos. Try all Aperture Library First Aid options - starting with repairing the permissions. (Repairing and Rebuilding Your Aperture Library: Aperture 3 User Manual)

You will have to delete the photos that are already in icloud too; otherwise you are risking duplicates.
Can you launch Photos at all? If yes, delete all photos in Photos and empty the Recently Deleted album. Wait for the deletion to sync to iCloud. Then delete the Photos.photolibrary.

Do I need to pass a applet test with Java before the Flash player will function?

I have downloaded the unstall and install programs for Adobe Flash Player and followed all the steps poster, "eidnolb" noted to prior poster greenie41180 on March 6th, 2010, 8:05PM.   The flash player test did not work.   I also do not see applets, when I use the latest version of Java on an applet test.    I might try reinstalling IE8, or going to IE7 and reinstalling Flash Player. Gawd! hours have been used, just trying to get Flash Player going so I can resume watching the tutorials at Mathtutordvd.com.
What other troubleshooting steps can be taken?   I have tried everything eidnolb suggested in prior posts.
Hello everyone, When I try to download the Flash player I get the error message listed above.    I turned off the firewall and virus modes on my TrendMicro protection program, when downloading the player.     I already have Java 6, update 18 in the system.   I restarted the computer. I also adjusted the configurations for Javascript and ActiveX under the "Tools" menu for the Security and Advanced tabs of Internet options. I have Windows XP, service pack 3, with Internet Explorer 8.
Also, I tested the recent, most updated program, Java and I still can not see an applet.    I have spent 7 or more hours on this. I thought initially this process was going to be straight forward.     I desperately need this Flash player so I can learn math at the streaming video site called, Mathtutordvd.com       Oh! gosh maybe someone here can help me help myself by giving me more troubleshooting steps. I did follow Adobe's troubleshooting steps, but I still get the same, above error box with, MSXML2.XSL Template 3.0 (Original exception: undefined)
I hope, eventually to watch the streaming site, once this Flash Player is loaded.   I really do not understand what is going on here. Thanks for your help.

Is there a way to launch an applet with java web start? That is, to have the java appelt run in a browser but get deployed with a jnlp-file and have all the benefits of java web start?

     3. If the device doesn't appear in iTunes, try to force the device into recovery mode, and then restore it.
6. If the above steps do not resolve the issue, contact Apple.

For no apparent reason, my email will not autofill addresses. I have no problem on IE, Chrome or Opera. This problem just started with firefox within the last 24 hours. My mail server is AT&T/Yahoo, and I use webmail - not a mail program.

With all other browsers, when I compose an email, once I start to put the recipient's name in the To box, it will autofill the name if it is in my Contacts. This has been the case with firefox until the last 24 hours. Now, firefox does not automatically recognize any of my contacts. This problem is not happening on IE, Chrome, or Opera. I access my email through my AT&T/Yahoo account on the web, not through a mail program.

please try to uninstall the adobe flash plugin from the windows control panel. afterwards manually delete any leftover files in ''C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash'' and download & install the plugin again (uncheck the option to install the bundled security software): www.adobe.com/go/getflashplayer
