  • Steps to create substitution rule for field BSEG-RECID

MIRO generates FI document. FI document has BSEG-RECID field. I need to apply substitution for BSEG-RECID depending on the value of the RSEG-GEBER field in MIRO. The substitution must be activated only if account to be booked is PL account in FI and derived MM document based on ZNPP PO type.
    Field values are as follows:
    RSEG-GEBER     BSEG-RECID
    No value                          No value
    N                              N
    D                              D
    A                              A
Could anyone please let me know the steps to create the above substitution rule for the FI document
    Thank You

    Hi,
You can do it as below:
Prerequisite : Select the document type for which you want check, here you have to select the BKPF-BLART = " " (Give the document type for the MIRO)
Substitution: Use the User exit with the logic as you said.
If you want you can use the user exit in both PREREQ & SUBSTITUTION. It will be applicable in your case

  • How to create incident rule for SOA composite faulted instances

    Hi Experts,
How can I create an incident rule for creating an incident when a SOA composite instance goes faulted. I want to notify the administrator when any of the SOA composite instance gets faulted but I am not able to undestand in my incident rule what type of event should be used,in-short I am not able to understand how can I create a rule for eveluating SOA composite faulted instances.
I am posting this query third time here. Please suggest me a solution or is this a limitation of OEM 12c Cloud Control ?
    Please help...its eally urgent!!!

Creating Incident rules is a very simple process as long as you know what event you wanna create your rule one. In your case specifically, its even more simple since you already know your target type and metric name.
    Steps:
    1) Create a rule set.
    2) On the same page hit "Targets" tab and select "All target types" and select "SOA Composite" from the target type list.
    3) Now hit "Rules" tab and then hot "Create" and then select first radio button - "Incoming events" since you wanna wrap SOA composite fault metric alert event into a rule.
    4) Now select "Type" and select "Metric Alert"
    5) Now since you are interested in a "specific event" - SOA composite fault metric alert event, select that radio button and hit "Add"
    6) From the "Target Type" dropdown, select "SOA Composite" target type and type "%Fault%" in the Metric name textbox and hit Search.
    7) Select you Metric name and select you severity as you wish.
    8) Add Actions - create notification, emails etc. (Refer docs to understand how best you can use these options as needed)
    9) Save your rule and save your Rule set.
You have a rule (Make sure its enabled) that will execute your specified actions when any SOA Composite will breach your the selected metric (Fault metric in your case)

  • Is there a way to create a rule that sends and Auto Response for a shared mailbox?

I have a shared mailbox set up that receives emails that are sent to 3 different addresses:
    [email protected]
    [email protected]
    [email protected]
I would like to create a rule that would send an auto response when someone emails one of these addresses.  However, I don't want an auto response sent to [email protected] so I can't just set up an "out of office" reply for the mailbox.
Is there a way that I can create a rule to send an automated response to 2 of the 3 addresses?
    Nate

    Hi
we can enable the shared mailbox in ADUC and create Outlook rules for it in Outlook to achieve it. please follow these steps:
    1. In Active Directory Users and Computers, right-click the shared mailbox and click Enable Account.
    2. Configure the Outlook account for the shared mailbox in Outlook.
    3. Click Rules > Manage Rules & Alerts.
    4. Create a rule like the following format:
Apply this rule after the message arrives
Have server reply using a specific message
Except if the subject contains specific words
Select exception(s) (if necessary) of the Outlook Rule - (“except if from people or public group“)
    5. Apply the auto reply rules for this shared mailbox.
Then users can receive auto reply of the shared mailbox except the exceptions we have set  when they send messages to this shared mailbox.

    Hi Uds,
are you running SOA Suite on a Linux server and not on your PC and just running JDeveloper on your PC?
If so try creating the repository file specifying a directory on the Linux server.
    For example to:
    /tmp/sample_repository
So Choose 'File' from drop down menu
    Enter /tmp/sample_repository
    Click on create button
This should create the file called sample_repository in /tmp on the Linux server.
Can you tell us what your environment is?

  • Steps to create Info Packages in BI 7.0

Please Give Steps top create new Info packages in BI7.0

    Hi,
Steps to create Generic data source:
If you want to extract the data from MM table in BI Please follow the below steps.
    1) Create a view on that table By going in to se11( Do this for future purpose, no need of joining conditon as of now why because view is containing only one table at this juncture)
    2) Go to RSO2, create generic data source based on view and designate this datasource under mm application component, it helps to replicate easily from the source system in BI side.
    3) While Creating datasource make sure that field selections and selection criteria for fields.
4)Assign it to a package(specified by the team) for transportation purpose. Make sure the dependencies also will be going through request other wise the request may fail.
    5) Replicate the generic datasource in BI System(by going in to the mm appln comp under r/3 source system)
    6) After replication do create info package, transformations and dtp also.
    7) Trigger the Info package and then DTP.
now data will be there in your data target in BI system
Steps to create standard data source
1> Go to RSA5 ,Select what data source u want , CLICK Transferstructure.
2> After dooing this u can see the structure in RSA6 , if u want to do any customozation by adding extra fields u can do it her , if not no need.
3> go to RSA3 and check if the structure is pulling data or not .
    BW SIDE
4> Select Source system ->Replicate data source
5> create Transfer rules , update rules and cube and u are done
6> u can create a infopackage and schedule ur data load into the cube or ods.
    Hope this helps you

  • Steps to create customized Master  data infoobjects in BI 7

    Hi all,
Can anyone please send the detailed steps to create customized master data infoobject in BI7,and also the data is to be extracted from two different datasources from two different source systems.
    Regards,
    G.Monica Roja Flora.

Some data modelling tips while creating master data infoobject and extracting data from different source systems -
If there are identical characteristic values describing different objects for the same characteristic in various source systems, you have to convert the values in such a way in SAP BW so as to make them unique.
For example, the same customer number may describe different customers in different source systems.
You can carry out conversion in the transfer rules for this source system or in the transfer routine for the characteristic.
If work involved in conversion is too great, you can compound the characteristic to the InfoObject Source System ID (0SOURSYSTEM). This means it is automatically filled with master data. The Source System ID is a 2-character identifier for a source system or a group of source systems in BW. The source system ID is updated with the ID of the source systems that provides the data. Assigning the same ID to more than one source system creates a group of source systems. The master data is unique within each group of source systems.

  • STEPS for creating IDOC .

I need to creat IDOC for whenever  delivery is created .

    Hi
Take the correct Idoc type and Message Type and process code from EDBAS and EDMSG tables and use
    see the doc
    Data Creation in Idoc
IDocs are text encoded documents with a rigid structure that are used to exchange data between R/3 and a foreign system. Instead of calling a program in the destination system directly, the data is first packed into an IDoc and then sent to the receiving system, where it is analyzed and properly processed. Therefore an IDoc data exchange is always an
asynchronous process. The significant difference between simple RFC-calls and IDoc data exchange is the fact, that every action performed on IDocs are protocolled by R/3 and IDocs can be reprocessed if an error occurred in one of the message steps.
While IDocs have to be understood as a data exchange protocol, EDI and ALE are typical use cases for IDocs. R/3 uses IDocs for both EDI and ALE to deliver data to the receiving system. ALE is basically the scheduling mechanism that defines when and between which partners and what kind of data will be exchanged on a regular or event triggered basis. Such a set-up is called an ALE-scenario.
IDoc is a intermediate document to exchange data between two SAP Systems.
*IDocs are structured ASCII files (or a virtual equivalent).
    *Electronic Interchange Document
*They are the file format used by SAP R/3 to exchange data with foreign systems.
*Data Is transmitted in ASCII format, i.e. human readable form
    *IDocs exchange messages
*IDocs are used like classical interface files
IDOC types are templates for specific message types depending on what is the business document, you want to exchange.
WE30 - you can create a IDOC type.
An IDOC with data, will have to be triggered by the application that is trying to send out the data.
FOr testing you can use WE19.
    How to create idoc?
*WE30 - you can create a IDOC type
For more information in details on the same along with the examples can be viewed on:

    Type the short text
Enter the variable names and data elements
    Save it and go back
Go to Edit -> Set Release
Follow steps to create more number of segments
    Create IDOC Type
    Go to transaction code WE30
Enter the Object Name, select Basic type and click Create icon
Select the create new option and enter a description for your basic IDOC type and press enter
Select the IDOC Name and click Create icon
The system prompts us to enter a segment type and its attributes
Choose the appropriate values and press Enter
The system transfers the name of the segment type to the IDOC editor.
Follow these steps to add more number of segments to Parent or as Parent-child relation
    Save it and go back
Go to Edit -> Set release
    Create Message Type
    Go to transaction code WE81
Change the details from Display mode to Change mode
After selection, the system will give this message “The table is cross-client (see Help for further info)”. Press Enter
Click New Entries to create new Message Type
    Fill details
    Save it and go back

An IDoc is simply a data container that is used to exchange information between any two processes that can understand the syntax and semantics of the data...
1.IDOCs are stored in the database. In the SAP system, IDOCs are stored in database tables.
2.IDOCs are independent of the sending and receiving systems.
3.IDOCs are independent of the direction of data exchange.
The two available process for IDOCs are
    Outbound Process
    Inbound Process
AND There are basically two types of IDOCs.
    Basic IDOCs
Basic IDOC type defines the structure and format of the business document that is to be exchanged between two systems.
    Extended IDOCs
Extending the functionality by adding more segments to existing Basic IDOCs.
To Create Idoc we need to follow these steps:
    Create Segment ( WE31)
    Create Idoc Type ( WE30)
    Create Message Type ( WE81)
Assign Idoc Type to Message Type ( WE82)

WE30 - you can create a IDOC type.
An IDOC with data, will have to be triggered by the application that is trying to send out the data.
    Try this..Hope this will help.
    >>>> SAP ALE & IDOC<<<<
    Steps to configuration(Basis) >>
    1. Create Logical System (LS) for each applicable ALE-enabled client
    2. Link client to Logical System on the respective servers
    3. Create background user, to be used by ALE(with authorizaton for ALE postings)
    4. Create RFC Destinations(SM59)
    5. Ports in Idoc processing(WE21)
    6. Generate partner profiles for sending system
    The functional configuration(Tcode: SALE)
    • Create a Customer Distribution Model (CDM);
    • Add appropriate message types and filters to the CDM;
    • Generate outbound partner profiles;
    • Distribute the CDM to the receiving systems; and
    • Generate inbound partner profiles on each of the clients.
Steps to customize a new IDoc >>>
    1. Define IDoc Segment (WE31)
    2. Convert Segments into an IDoc type (WE30)
    3. Create a Message Type (WE81)
    4. Create valid Combination of Message & IDoc type(WE82)
    5. Define Processing Code(WE41 for OUT / WE42 for IN)
    6. Define Partner Profile(WE20)
    Important Transaction Codes:
SALE - IMG ALE Configuration root
WE20 - Manually maintain partner profiles
BD64 - Maintain customer distribution model
BD71 - Distribute customer distribution model
    SM59 - Create RFC Destinations

    BD82 - Generate Partner Profiles
    BD61 - Activate Change Pointers - Globally
BD50 - Activate Change Pointer for Msg Type
BD52 - Activate change pointer per change.doc object
BD59 - Allocation object type -> IDOC type
BD56 - Maintain IDOC Segment Filters
BD53 - Reduction of Message Types
    BD21 - Select Change Pointer
BD87 - Status Monitor for ALE Messages
BDM5 - Consistency check (Transaction scenarios)
    BD62 - Define rules
    BD79 - Maintain rules
BD55 - Defining settings for IDoc conversion
    WEDI - ALE IDoc Administration

    BDM2 - IDoc Trace
    BDM7 - IDoc Audit Analysis
BD21 - Create IDocs from change pointers
    SM58 - Schedule RFC Failures
    Basic config for Distributed data:
    BD64: Maintain a Distributed Model
    BD82: Generate Partner Profile
    BD64: Distribute the distribution Model
    Programs
RBDMIDOC – Creating IDoc Type from Change Pointers
RSEOUT00 – Process all selected IDocs (EDI)
RBDAPP01 - Inbound Processing of IDocs Ready for Transfer
RSARFCEX - Execute Calls Not Yet Executed
RBDMOIND - Status Conversion with Successful tRFC Execution

  • Steps to create Collective delivery

    Hi,
Someone pl tell me steps to create collective delivery
    Thanks Munna

    hi,
You can schedule delivery creation for whenever you like using automatic background processing.
    Procedure
To plan background processing for delivery creation, proceed as follows:
1.Either apply a user role for background processing or make a copy of a user role for shipment due processing for yourself.
During the test phase, use a function code profile for shipment due list display within this user role.
2.Test the shipment due processing with this user role until you only need to execute the Create delivery in background function after the shipment due list is first displayed in order to ship part of the delivery list. (Vary the rules for line selection or for quantity definition during item processing, for instance.)
3.Change the function code profile in the user role from Display to Deliver.
4.From Logistics ® Logistics Execution ® Outbound Process ® Goods Issue for Outbound Delivery, choose Outbound Delivery ® Create ® Collective Processing of Documents Due for Delivery ® Delivery scenario of your choice.
5.Choose the user role that you want to use for background scheduling in the User role field on the User role tab page.
6.Enter additional selection parameters on the selection screen.
7.Save the selection screen as a variant.
8.From shipping, choose Outbound delivery ® Create ® Collective Processing of Documents Due for Delivery ® Plan Background Processing and execute the delivery scenario for background planning.
9.Choose the selection variant you want and then select Schedule job.
10.Follow the basis dialog for scheduling a background job.

  • Create a rule using a flow

Can anybody help me to create a rule in OPA for the flow mentioned below. How can I make use of rule loop for the flow?
Step #     Activity (with Description) Goto
1     Update beneficiary info (if applicable) in the Elevation
spreadsheet for beneficiary account elevation for DB & HW benefits and send for processing. Step 2
2     Did batch produce rejects? (Yes/No) If Yes then step3 and If No then step5
3     Research reason for elevation reject ? Step 4
4     Resolve issue and update Elevation Spreadsheet ? Step 1
5     Create Life Event in HW Survivors Account to assign coverage to Survivor. Goto death initiation flow(//death initiation is some other flow//)
Please tell how can I create a rule for this flow?

Generally speaking rules should be declarative, not "flows" or "loops" (which would be procedural rather than declarative). Declarative (natural language) rules are generally specified in the following format: Do/Decide something if ...
This format enables rule authors to specify complete truths/policies without having to consider how the other hows, whats, whens that are required when specifying flows or procedures (which often assume something else happened first or will happen later and therefore require the author to check / ensure that those assumptions still hold whenever a policy requires a change).
Getting back closer to your question, I would suggest the following:
Assume the "Send for processing" bit is the external application deciding to consult OPA to make a determination. The external app sends in the relevant data. The rulebase might contain rules similar to the following:
    rejects were produced if ...
<something> is rejected (what is the thing being rejected and should the rules specify the conditions under which the something is rejected)
the <something> should be investigated due to a rejection if
the something is rejected (you might care about which reasons in your rules?)
the survivor is assigned the coverage if
rejects were not produced and (what other conditions specify when to assign a specific coverage to a specific survivor?)
the death initiation flow should be initiated if
the survivor is assigned the coverage
One thing to keep in mind with declarative specification of rules / policies is that the order of the rules in the rule documents does not matter (i.e. the author need not be concerned with the order of specified rules nor order in which the rules will be evaluated). All decisions which can be made based on available data will be made and only those rules that can reach a definitive conclusion based on the data will "execute" and reach the conclusion specified in the rule.
    Hope this helps ...
BTW - The OPM help and available training on the products provide a significant amount of content on how to approach writing rules (vs. traditional procedural / flow based coding). A few quick examples from the Oracle Policy Modeling Help: "What is a rule?" and it's related links, the topic "Rule principles for Oracle Policy Modeling", etc.

  • Interesting - Different views when creating substitute rule in UWL and normal view

    Hi Guys,
Just came across something interesting i thought i should mentioned it here incase someone knows why. When creating the substitute rule on the MSS main page one gets the window without a small road map, however if you do that via the UWL menu you get a nice view with a road map.
From the main page  when you click on the create rule button you get this
    =>
From the UWL side menu you get this, but the button being clicked is teh same. Anyone know how this works and how to make it the same ?

Moderator Spotlight - Siddharth Rajora Thank you very much for your reply. So just to clarify a few things
Is it possible at all to have the road map when creating substitution rules from the main MSS lane/manager view on the main page? I am on Webdynpro ABAP. If so can you please help with the steps.
I am right in saying that the road map view in UWL is based on WEBDYNPRO JAVA?
We are currently on ECC6 EH6, would i be correct to tell the boss that road map will is not available in EHP7
Basically the boss would like the road map from the main MSS lane/Launch pad. Thats what he prefers. I have tried to identify the application that is used to display the road map but i cant find it, it looks like its not WEBDYNPRO ABAP. In UWL view When I right click on th button i do not get the technical help to see the application which is what i normally do and it works on the launch pad/MSS lane
