Stock Value (VPRS- VRPRS ) doubled in COPA

Dear Gurus,
In COPA the value field (VRPRS) stock value shows the exactly double., where as in the sales order it shows correctly.
Is there is any way to correct the error of showing the VRPRS as exactly double for documents already posted for prior years=2007,2008
This situation happened when we went for upgrade where in we forgot to put the standard user exit which will deactivate the existence of 2 VPRS condition type values at the same time where in only 1 VPRS condition type will be made active.
We found this after upgrade and were able to correct this by moving the user exit code to Production and arrested the duplication of VPRS condition value update happening in Profitability Analysis documents prospectively.
The client is now asking us to rectify the duplicate VPRS value updated already for previous years in COPA.
The value of COGS from FI side is okay for all the documents
Is there any way we can rectify this?
We have tried by deleting the existing COPA document generated with duplicate entry and subsequently posted the same sales order via Transaction code KE4F (Prepare subsequent posting of Incoming Sales orders to COPA) KE4S Transfer SD Billing documents to COPA and checked again the values for VPRS is doubled. For information, presently the sales order contains value of VPRS (Cost) shows correct values (single time only and no duplication of the same)

Difference in stock values after MR21 updation

Here the user has updated a material price using MR21 and after that he tried to execute the MB5L (stock balance MM-FI) to know the stock values in MM & FI records. However, the stock values in MM does not tally with FI values. There is a variance.
While executing MB5L, system has issued a message like this:
"Restriction on this field lead to incorrect results.
The display of selected material records shows the detailed data of the material, but comparing these values with the balance of the stock account may not provide the same result.
Execute the balance comparison at company code level using report RM07MMFI (MM/FI balance comparison)."

Hello,
MB5L must always be ran at Company code level. Once it is ran, you can get to the Plant/Material level balances by double-clicking the Material GL Account.

COGS Values are not flowing to COPA

Hi,
Can you check whether COPA document is created for billing document and COGS value field is updated in this document? If this value is not updated then you need to check COGS value field mapping to COGS condition type (generally VPRS).
If the COGS value is updated in COPA document then you need to check COPA form and report.

New vprs condition for posting COPA according to item category

Hi
My client has a requirement of posting in COPA according to item category, for example ,i have two items in the billing one is with normal item ctegory (TAN) and other is (TANN),They want the postings should be different for both the item categories in COPA so that they can show the free items VPRS cost should be booked in other expenses(TANN).
I tried by adding another condition type like ZPRS and made a routine but system is working in the order and at the time of billing system is not working

Hi!! Sriram Kiran,
I would rather suggest a different method.
Please make the following changes.
1) In the detail screen of your item category TANN, in the section of 'Business Data' for the field Pricing the value entered should be 'B'.
2) Next insert condition type R100 in your pricing procedure and insert the requirement for the condition type R100 as 55.
this way pricing is applied to the product with category TANN but is with 100% discount and the cost VPRS is transferred for COPA.
According to me no need to create a new condition type for cost of the free item.

In selection screen please select radio button u201C Current Priceu201D instead of u201C Standardu201D . It will give correct value.

Stock value is not getting updated in APO system From ECC automatically but if we do it manually from transaction CFM2 it will get updated.
for this we are using EXIT_SAPLCSTK_001.
I am using VL10A for delivery and VL06G for PGI
I have also checked integration model for material and stock.
Please help me out as it is very urgent.

for transferring the stock data from R/3 to APO automatically, you need to have the integration model for material and stock activated.
please check the same.
if this does not help, let me know in detail the steps which you are following..

Items with zero stock quantity show negative stock value in Stock reports

When running Stock reports for controlling the stock value towards the GL accounts, some items appear with zero stock quantity, but the report still shows a stock value (negative value in my case)
How can this happen, and how can I correct this situation ?
System parameters are : negative stock is not allowed, Items with zero cost price not allowed. On item level average cost price method is used.

Hi Johnsen,
I believe you have checked the" Manage Inventory by warehouse". I have noticed this issue in SAP B1 2005B but this is rectified in 2007B. The system behaves in this way as the system maintains item cost for the item for all warehouses and even if the stock is not present in the warehouse, the system would still show you a value for the same. Changes in stock value of the material even after closing period

The client closes the accounts every month end. Say they close the books of accounts for the month of Jan07 on 31st Jan 2007. After closing the account they are running MC.9 to know the stock value of different plants for the previous month. i.e. for the month of Jan07. But every day when the client runs the MC.9 they found some differences in the stock price & quantity.
For better understanding, consider they close the period on 31st Jan. When they run the MC.9 on 2nd Feb it shows the value say 100$ and qty of 100. When we run the same report on 4th Feb the value got changed to say 98$ and qty remain same. Again when we run on 6th Feb the value is changed again to say 102$ and stock is 100.
We checked the MB51 with posting date & entered date. We could not find any back posting.
What could be the reason for the variation in the stock price & qty ? Any pointers will be highly appricated.

Your previous posting talked about variation in stock value and now you are saying that there are changes in stock qty also. So the better option would be to check those material which has variation and compare them with other standard reports to get a solution. Export the list of material to an excel sheet and compare them with that of the other reports. This would help you to find the materials which has changes and you can narrow down to the root cause. Once you get the material then u can go by posting date and find the movements.

Custom Report for the Stock and Stock value for a specific date

Hi SAP Gurus,
Is there any SAP standard t-code or any logic to get the transcations (additions (for example: Purchases) and subtractions (Sales) to the inventory) for a particular materials in a plant and with Total Stock and also Total Stock value when that particular transaction happened?
Our system is R/3 4.7
I looked at the MB5B, MBCE, MBCA, MC44, MB51 and some other standard T-codes but could not find the total stock value at the time of Transaction happened.
The history tables MBEWH and MARDH are updated after the month end closing procedures, right, which means I will have the inventory value changing every month if material has Price "S".

Unfortunately, you cannot see in a single tcode the value of stock and stock quantity on a specific date. As you yourself have pointed out, we only have to make use of the history table MBEWH, MARDH for the month wise stock quantity and value. Along with that you should also make use of the table MBEW to take teh stock quantity and value. So the total value of stock on a particular date will be
Stock qnty = MBEWH value until the previous month (for teh specific valuation class, period etc) + MBEW value for the present date.
But this will nto work out if you want to find out teh stock quantity and stock value on a past date basis. For past data, only m onthwise data is available. For this anyway you can refer to MC.1 and so on reports.

There are quite a few standard reports which will give you the stock value report, you can try
MC.1 to MC.9 (gives you various stock value analysis reports), MMBE, MB5W etc.
Alternatively you can extract this data from MARD table.
If you are looking for a specific report, please let us know the same & we can be more precise in the output.

Stock value showing Negative but Qty is Null

Hi Gurus,
I am using the Transaction MCBA, where i am getting the details regarding the Received Stock qty, issued stock qty ,Total stock on hand and the Total stock Value.
Here i am getting the values Zero for Received stock qty, Issued stock qty and the Total stock. But i am getting the Stock value in Negative.
When i checked the Tables it is showing as Zero only.
Please advice what needs to be done or what went wrong where.

Need to display the Stock Values at storage location level - 0IC_C03

Hi All,
I am developing Stock Movent Report on 0IC_C03 - Material Stocks/Movements.
I have more than one storage location for plant. Stock quantities are calculating at storage location level and Stock Values are calculating at plant level.
I have no issues with quantities. Only problem with Values.
2LIS_03_UM is not picking the starage location, so that the revaualtion values are falling under unassigned nodes. When i set filter on storage location these values were not showing as they are under un assigned nodes (#).
I want to get the Stock Quantity and Stock Values at Storage location level in my report.
I found that soulution for that is Applying SAP Note : How to Realize summarized display of stock values on storage
I have done development as per the document. But when i run the Query it is going to debug mode first and then it saying This program cannot display the webpage
Can any one faced the same situation, Please help me if so.

   Most likely causes:
You are not connected to the Internet.
The website is encountering problems.
There might be a typing error in the address.
   What you can try:
     Check your Internet connection. Try visiting another website to make sure you are connected.
     Retype the address.
     Go back to the previous page.

No Stock value at Storage location level in BW report

I am facing problem in getting stock valuation at storage location level.
The problem is that, in R/3 Stock valuation is done at plant level, when we do storage location to storage location movement , only stock quantity gets changed and no FI entry is getting generated . So there is no movement of stock values at all. when we load this transaction data into BW , obviously i will arrive with wroung value . so what to do in this case ?

I personally do not trust info structure data which are basis to MC.9 and MC.5
basis for MB5L is audit relevant data, while info structures are only statistics.
Ideally the data should match, but if for some reason the update to the info structure fails, then the financial posting still happens as they are technically not in the same LUW.
