Sub -collection within a collection

Hello,
I have a function that uses a collection structure.
The structure is as follows :
type rec is record (
x number,
y number)
table tbl is table of rec index by binary_integer;
Now inside the function I want to read the structure and do some operations:
for i in tbl.first...tbl.last loop
operations;
end loop;
I want to be able to call this function twice, the first time the function needs to handle the entire structure, the second time it needs to handle just a subcollection of this structure based on a condition, for example x=2.
Is it possible to do function like this?

I don't know how to put the condition to return the subset of the collection and then to do the operations.

Is it possible to create sub-menus within collections?

Within a collection called "Classes" I would like a sub collectionin order to turn each class into its own individual RSS feed, but I can't seemto find this option within the site manager. Moving document using workflow from sub site to site collection

Hi,
I was looking for steps to move documents from sub sites to site collection or from sub site to sub-site in SharePoint 2013. I tried with reusable workflow but unable to set the target library which is in site collection level. Its not listing down the site
collection libraries. It is showing libraries in sub site.
Any ideas how it can be done by workflow? or any other approaches there ?
Your suggestion would be appreciated.

Hi,
According to your post, my understanding is that you wanted to move document from one site to another site using workflow.
There is no out of the box action to achieve it in SharePoint.
However, there is an avaiable activity Copy List Item Extended Activity in the CodePlex, you can have a look at it.

Note: the activity should be used in the SharePoint 2010 workflow platform.
We can also use the site content and structure to achieve it(within the site collection ) .
Make sure you have following features activated:
Site Collection feature: SharePoint Server Publishing Infrastructure
Site Feature: SharePoint Server Publishing
Then go to: Site Actions >> Site Administration>>Content and Structure

In Lightroom mobile how can move photos within the collection????

What you can do is to move (or copy) a photo form one collection to another. This can be triggered via the top right app menu item from grid view. Same menu is available when you open up an image for editing. Hope that helps. -Guido

Custom master pages don't appear in all site collections within same App

I created an additional site collection within an existing application which has a preexisting site collection.
The preexisting site collection uses a custom master page:
.../_Layouts/ChangeSiteMasterPage.aspx
that doesn't appear in
.../newsite/_Layouts/ChangeSiteMasterPage.aspx
Anything I need to do in
.../_catalogs/masterpage/forms/allitems.aspx
to apply the masterpage to the new site?

I don't get the problem completely. I undestand that your custom masterpage, which you created once for an existing site collection, does not appear in a newly created site collection. So what where your deployment steps for the custom masterpage?
Generally you would create the masterpage via Visual Studio and deploy it within a feature to the catalogs library, either in web-scope or in site-scope. A feature event receiver applys the masterpage to the current website (in web-scope) or to all webs
in the site collection (in site-scope) on feature activating. But in both scopes you need to active the feature in every site collection (or website).
So please tell us how you deployed the masterpage.

Moving images within a collection?

Having just watched Julieanne K's tutorial re making a Blurb book, she began with her images in a story order. How does one move images within a collection to an order different from how they were uploaded or taken? I guess it is simple, but I cannot seem to do it.

Actually, you don't have to select User Order. In Library mode, view the grid and simply drag and drop the thumbnails into the order you want, and that prompt will automatically change to User Order from whatever order it was in before.

Different Order Types within a Collective Order

Dear PP Gurus,
I have a requirement for having different order types with in a collective order. For example, in a BOM of 3 levels, the order type for each assembly should be different say ZPP1, ZPP2 and ZPP3.
For this, I have maintained separate production scheduling profiles in each of these assemblies with the respective order types. Also, I have maintained MRP groups separately for each of these materials. Further, in Plant Parameters, no default order type is assigned.
However, when I create the order, the system creates all orders with order type ZPP1 which is for the header material.
As per SAP help, this is possible but I am not able to create collective order with different order types.
Please suggest any SAP Note or configuration changes which I have missed out.

In this link, under Pre-reuisites section, in Point 2 it is mentioned
"This indicator is transferred into the order header (master data) of the orders. If there are differing order types within the collective order, the setting of the indicator of the order type of the leading order takes precedence. This indicator is transferred to all lower-level orders and overrides their original indicators."
The above line implies that different order types are possible with in a collective order.
Please suggest some way out.

Stack/Delete within a Collection?

Using Lightroom 1.2 on WinXP. When importing I leave photos in place and import only the metadata.
1) Is it possible to stack within a collection? I see the expand/collapse stack drop list items when right-clicking within a folder but not within a collection.
2) Within a collection, can you delete a photo from Lightroom or from the disk? I don't see a list item to do that when I right-click on a photo/photos within a collection. Right now deleting photos can get to be a hassle for the fraction of my collections which are not organized the same as my folders.

Is there a way to order by the names in hashMaps which are contained within a collection?
Collection-->hmp1(nrPerson1, nameB);
hmp2(nrPerson2, nameC);
hmp3(nrPerson3, nameA);
Now what i need to display is (nrPerson3,nameA), (nrPerson1,nameB), (nrPerson2, nameC)...
Any suggestion will be greatly appreciated!

How do I rearrange photos within a collection?

I have created a collection for a portfolio review in my desktop version of Lightroom 5. I have enabled sync with Lightroom Mobile, and all of the photos have synced to my iPad. The photos are in the order that I imported them from my hard drive originally, and they synced in that same order to my iPad. I want to rearrange the photos, however. How can I do that?

Normally you can drag photos around in a collection and they remain fixed in your chosen order. Not sure how LR mobile syncs, but why not give it a try with an existing collection or new collection.

Track computer changes in a collection within a specified time period.

I have a typical requirement where I need to find out list of computers that moved in and out of a query based Device Collection.
The scenario:
I have few collections, based on the OUs of Computers.
Collection A lists all machines in OU A
Collection B lists all machines in OU B
Now if an administrator moves a machine from OU "A" to OU "B", the collection membership updates and the machine moves from Collection A to Collection B.
I need a query to find out what machines moved form OU "A" to OU "B" in last 7 days/1 Month what ever is feasible.
Any help will be appreciated.

For that attribute no. the easiest way to determine if there is a history. Is look at the Resource Explorer, if there data you are looking for is there then there is a 99% chance
there is a History view for that data. Software | file Details is an example of one without a history view.

Ordering of Collection Sets and Collections (inside Collection Sets)?

What are the rules for how elements (specifically, collections and other collection sets) are ordered within a collection set?
I was trying to get a collection to appear at the top of the list of items in a collection set, but it seems to get stuffed below all the other collection sets regardless of the name given to the collection.

Collection Set / Smart Collections / Collections (Alphabetical in each case)
The same applies inside a Collections Set.
So a collection will never appear above a smart collection or collection set regardles of it name. If you create a Collection Set then create two Sets within (01, 02) Set 01 could contain Collections and thereby would appear above smart collections in set 02.

HT201320 Does my email service provider have to provide the ability for me to create an IMAP email account in order for me to create Sub-folders within Apple Mail?

Hi, Apple Mail provides a function to create sub-folders within my mailbox so that I can group emails of similar subjects or from the same sender. My service provider only provides POP email protocol and the New Folder button does not appear in my Apple Mail account for that service provider. Icloud provides the opportunity for the iPad user to select between POP and IMAP. I can select IMAP and the New Folder button appears allowing me to create sub-folders within the icloud email account. Does this mean I cannot create sub-folders in my email account unless my service provider provides customers with the option of creating an IMAP email account?
This appears to be a problem for quite a few Apple Mail users, but service providers appear reticent to provide a response other than 'use Microsoft Exchange / Hotmail, Google GMail, or some other third party email service provider'. This is why I have chosen icloud as my email service provider. It is Apple and therefore Apple supports it. I have been a Telstra customer for over 15 years and they informed me today, strongly, that they support their own products and services, not Apple products, even though Telstra sell them. When I asked the Telstra Customer Support Manager whether they support Telstra customers, I was informed 'no, because the Telstra customer is not a Telstra product or service'. Yes. That is what it means. You need an IMAP account in order to create sub folders on the iPad.

Also, you can add a New Folder button to the Finder's toolbar by opening Finder, going to the View menu in the menubar, selecting Customize Toolbar..., and dragging the New Folder icon to the toolbar in the Finder window. Then it's just one-click for new folders wherever you want them.

Creating sub-cluster within a Coherence cluster

Hi all,
Does Coherence support creation of 'sub-clusters' within a larger coherence cluster - such that certain caches can be configured to run only on these subclusters, and other caches run on the entire coherence cluster as usual.
E.g., suppose my application consists of 3 websphere clusters (under same cell) - each cluster consists of 2 Websphere server instances. Each Websphere cluster has got a specific functional responsbility (e.g., 1 cluster handles the UI, one handles core processing functionality and the 3rd cluster handles links with external legacy systems). Since the functionality itself is 'partitioned' - its possible that certain data managed by a particular WAS cluster should only be managed within that cluster and not across all 6 WAS instances.
So - in this case - suppose I do have an 'outer' Coherence cluster of all 6 WAS instances (and some Caches are configured to be acessible to all 6 WAS instances - since the data managed in these caches is needed by all 6 WAS instances). Can I configure a smaller Coherence cluster to be available only on say 2 of the Websphere instances (say the WAS cluster which handles legacy links) - and configure certain caches which are available only on this smaller sub-cluster.

I am quite confused about the purpose of the service-name. How would you tie down a cache to a particular service? In the context of the above example, the requirement seems to be:
CacheA should be spread over the UI cluster.
CacheB should be spread over the legacy cluster.
CacheC should be spread over the global cluster.
