Subscription renewal processed but minutes not giv...

My subscription was charged and confirmed by email and within my account but minutes now given.. How can I contact support to get resolved?

Skype always charges the recurring payment two or three days before the end of the last subscription to give a customer a chance to change payment method (in case something goes wrong) to avoid subscription expiry.
If the recurring payment was due today then the next sycle starts on the 9th and then the new minutes will appear as well.
Since there is a limited amount of minutes each month for use, the old subscription period needs to run until the end.
You made the original purchase on the 9th and this is the date the subscription will activate and will run until the 9th of August.

    The good thing about mac-centric resellers such as OWC, is they have people on staff that can answer questions without you buying things first. They also have how-to information, and instructions are included in many of their products. I saw a link to watch a DIY video in one of their pages; an example of a RAID (with its own power supply) is shown on their drives page. Also a few in there, with no power supplies, for less money.
    If I were looking to backup and perhaps also have a partition for a system clone, I'd consider something like one of these: http://eshop.macsales.com/shop/firewire/1394/USB/EliteAL/eSATA_FW800_FW400_USB
    Some ideas on the RAID backup methods appear in google search, some of the pages are ideas and concepts; and the better ones also warn about using RAID for the only backup plan.
    Oh, OWC has live chat. Haven't tried it, nor have I bought anything from them. I have what appears to be two products from them, but have not used either. One is in a box as-new, but has only USB2.0 ports & my Macs needed FW400/800. It has been said their RAM is a good way to upgrade, too. But I can't confirm!
    A 'RAID-ready' unit for backup may be more versatile for just that, but I have not checked into these details. I use single HDDs in powered enclosures, and usually manually make backup clones to FW drives, of bootable OS X systems. Some of the OWC raid-ready use eSATA ports so that may not be viable for a computer without them.
    The unused in-box external drive I have is like the base model in the link above. However mine is USB2.0 (maybe) and won't boot my older Macs due to hardware variance; and my preference would be for FireWire options, these models do offer that. But the one I have does not. Dual 500GB HDDs, and they could be used in tandem as a RAID. That would be a choice set up in software. I'm not sure and not interested enough to read up just now.
    My backup method is not automatic, or a moving backup plan, if I don't get a move-on and make full system clones. I do make copies of photos and documents the manual way, to USB external drives; and occasionally backup to DVD or CD media. And USB flash, that helps to move files between computers without need to use file sharing via wi-fi. {Like Why fly? Walking is better exercise unless one is a bird. Squawk!}

    Depending on the ports in your Mac, you may be able to use other cables to attach between a backup or externally enclosed hard disk drive with multiple partition and bootable clone in one of them. Not sure about the Thunderbolt, and where that is the main port, adapters are required to access other devices, as allowed.
    Anyway, I am going on and on, yet not really saying anything.
    My ideas would not be all that interesting to follow as a backup
    plan when matching available newer hardware to task, but you
    can get some into better ideas if you are not in a rush. Get a
    good setup and then look into more an betterer stuff.

  • I am using FF 5.0.1. The English spellchecker add on does not work.It will underline the misspelled word but does not give you the correct spelling choice.

    I did not upgrade to 4.0 because I did not like it.I thought I was upgrading finally to 4.0 assuming at this date they had fixed all the bugs and updated the add ons.
    I downloaded the latest version and love it, love it except the one add on that I use more than anything does not work properly.:-(

    I have already done all that prior to posting here.
    Even as I type this response the spell check add on puts a red squigly line under your screen names but does not give me any suggestions.
    I am frustrated beyond belief because I am a faithful and dedicated user of this browser and I am going to just roll back to a older version until this silly issue is resolved.
    I appreciate all your help but I suppose until the person who developed this add on does something to make it compatible with FF5.01 I will not be using it.

    Have you plugged in your iPhone to the computer? In iTunes > File > Devices you should be able to "Transfer Purchases."
    In iTunes > Store have you authorised the computer?

    I'm sure you figured it out by now, but I ran into the same problem.  I found this on the HBOgo site.  This help me.
    1) Launch HBO GO on your device.
    2) Navigate to the 'Settings' tab.
    3) Click the 'Activate Your Device' button - the next screen should show you your activation code.
    4) Navigate to www.hbogo.com/activate.
    5) Select Apple TV from the device drop down list.
    6) Select your TV provider.
    7) On the Activate a Device screen, enter the code displayed on your television (from step 3), click the 'Activate' button.
    8) You should see a 'Success!' message on both your television and your browser. Until the 'Success' message appears on your television screen, you will not be able to watch a video.
    9) You are ready to start streaming video on HBO GO!

    Go to http://www.apple.com/ios/maps/ and look at the bottom: Turn-by-turn navigation is available only on iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, and iPad 2 or later with cellular data capability. Flyover is available only on iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPad 2 or later, and iPod touch (5th generation). Cellular data charges may apply.
    You can always use the WAZE app like I do.

    I can't find that printer on the canon eu support website (canon uses model numbers on that site, not series designations) , and canon printers are not easy to get to work well on archlinux.
    However there are 2 aur packages that provide the UFRII driver :
    - cndrvcups-lb (built from source)
    - cndrvcups-lb-bin (uses the binaries)

    This morning I restarted my Mac, as it was switched off over the weekend to save power.
    I opened Dreamweaver.
    A dialog popped up: "Renew your subscription: Go to the Subscription Manager to renew your subscription for Creative Cloud Membership and continue using your product uninterrupted. "
    I clicked 'Subscription Manager'.
    This took me to the Creative Cloud page: https://creative.adobe.com/
    There were no instructions here on how to renew my subscription.
    Do I need to reinstall each of the apps I am currently using via the Download links (which open Adobe Application Manager)? This is inconvenient because it means waiting for each of these apps to be downloaded.
    The whole process is really un-user-friendly and is creating a very slow start to the week as I cannot resume any work until my apps are reactivated.
    If this is to be a regular occurence is there some way for me to schedule this reinstall process to a time that is convenient for me (eg Friday afternoons every 3 months) so that I do not have these slow starts to the working week?

    You can renew your subscription by going to the "My Adobe" page on Adobe.com: https://www.adobe.com/account.html. From there, click on "My subscriptions and services" under "My products and services". You will be taken to a page that shows your Creative Cloud subscription with an option to renew. You should not need to reinstall any of the applications you have downloaded.
    Thank you for mentioning the broken link from the application dialog box. I can file a bug report for you and hopefully this issue can be fixed soon!

  • Deferred Event Subscription Processed but does not execute PL/SQL Rule Func

    Greetings all,
    I am creating a simple Business Event Subscription w/ a PL/SQL Rule Function in my 11.5.10.CU2/10gR2 E-Business Suite environment. My custom code simply inserts a record into a custom table. When I setup the Subscription to run synchronously (i.e. Phase < 100), the PL/SQL function executes and a record is inserted into my custom table. When I setup the Subscription to run in a deferred manner (i.e. Phase Code >= 100), no record is inserted into my custom table.
    The Service Component "Workflow Deferred Agent Listener" is running. A close inspection of the WF_DEFERRED queue tables reveal that the message/entry is being processed (I can see the status change from READY to PROCESSED), but the PL/SQL function is never executed.
    I would prefer to setup the Subscription to be deferred in order not to degrade performance of the user's session that triggers the business process. What am I missing?

    If you are using global variables in your custom code to insert, you may want to stop and start the WF agent listener and then try firing the event.

  • When I try to back up my iCloud device it will start the process but will not finish the backup

    When trying to backup my iCloud on iPad it will start the process but moments later it stops and is unable to finish

    This may be caused by a corrupt existing backup that needs to be deleted, or by data on your device that is causing the backup to fail.  To troubleshoot these, try deleting your last iCloud backup (if you have one) by turning off iCloud Backup in Settings>iCloud>Storage & Backup, then tap Manage Storage, swipe across your backup and tap Delete, then go back and turn iCloud Backup back on and try backing up again.
    If it still won't back up, you may have an app or something in your camera roll that is causing the backup to fail.  To locate which one, go to Settings>iCloud>Storage & Backup>Manage Storage, tap the name of your device under Backups, under Backup Options tap Show All Apps, then turn them all to Off (including camera roll) and try backing up again.  If the backup is successful, then the camera roll and/or one of your apps is causing the backup to fail and you'll have to located by process of elimination. Turn the camera roll On and try backing up again.  If it succeeds, turn some of your apps to On and try backing up again.  If it succeeds again, turn some more apps to On then try again; repeat this process until it fails.  Eventually you'll be able to locate the problem app and exclude it from your backup.

    you iphone does not work like a regular ipod, where you can drag and drop music, you must sync it with itunes. plug it into your computer, click on the icon that is labeled iphone that will show on the left column when you do this there is a section on the top that says music. click on that, then you can select playlists and artists, etc. then click apply. it should work then

    I just got a new iphone 4 (my first one) and the internet worked great at the store, as well as in the parking lot at the grocery store on the way home - yes I was playing with it!  Anyway, now that I'm home and the store is closed, it won't connect to my home wifi.  It sees the guest network, but it doesn't give me place to put in the password, so I'm not sure if that's why it won't work.  Also, I don't know what settings to put in for the screen that comes after the network choice screen - it has IP Addresses with DHCP, BootP, and Statis (I don't know what any of these are or mean!)  It also has a 'renew lease' button that I have no idea what to do with, and it has a section with HTTP proxy that is highlighted "off" but also has 'manual' and 'auto' options - maybe these are not set correctly?
    Very frustrating that there is no manual, and the website doesn't really help with this at all.  Thanks so much!

    If you look at the top left of your screen you will either see a 3G (or 4G if you have AT&T) or you will see the wi-fi symbol.  If you don't see the wi-fi symbol you are connecting to Gmail through your cellular data plan, not via wi-fi.
    To answer your question, it doesn't happen often but when it does the steps I mentioned above will normally resolve it.  Hopefully you won't have any further problem with this.
