  • Mastercollection CS6 switched back to trial version and serialnumber is not valid.

I bought Master Collection 6 Mac and I'm using it since 6 aug, 2013. I've got a serialnumber.
This month it switched back to the trial version and my serialnumber is not valid. What is the problem?

    Hi eltoneerkens,
I have checked and found that the serial number you have provided is now expired. I would advise you to please contact your school or university again for the same.
    Thanks

  • Registered Elements 10 suddenly thinks it is a trial version?????

I purchased Elements 10 some time ago.  A couple months ago, I had to replace my computer, and I had some difficulty installing Elements onto my new system (Win 7 64 bit).  I finally got it installed, and now today when I clicked CTRL+I to edit a photo, I received a display box offering me a choice of either using a "Trial" version of Elements 10 or BUY one.  WTF is going on here?  I have been using Elements 10 for over a year, and a couple months on my new laptop.  I've tried looking the in the HELP or About areas for the serial number to key in again, but I can't locate it.  NEVER again will I buy downloaded software from Adobe (or anyone) ... I want the serial number where I can see it.  Does anyone have any idea why Elements suddenly thinks I don't have it installed?  I've been using it regularly for the last couple months since reloading it without any problems.  I have to edit some photos quickly ... HELP!!   Where can I locate my serial # to key into the boxes on the display?

  • Adobe Pro 11 reverting back to trial version

I have a client that has a 5 user license for Adobe Pro 11. This is not CC but standalone with one copy installed on five different Citrix servers running Windows Server 2008 R2.
Citrix is setup for load balancing with only the specific five users having access to the application. This allows these users to access a licensed copy of the program.
This is not a new installation and about 9-10 months ago we had to reinstall the application on all of the Citrix servers due to this problem.
A single user reported being prompted that the trial period had expired and the software needed to be registered. I logged into the specific server, was able to duplicate the message and proceeded to re-register Adobe Pro 11. I verified that the remaining four servers were not reporting the same error.
We need a way to correct this permanently, with the servers setup for load balancing we can't just have the user log into a different server.

It saying your key is invalid seems like the essence of the problem, like the key had a time limit as being for a student version, or Adobe has blacklisted the key due to it being stolen or not authorized for use for some other reason.  Where did you purchase the key/product from, Adobe, or some less-than-obviously-reputable place?
As far as you’re getting hung up on, perhaps the phone lines between wherever you are and India are a little iffy.
    Have you tried chatting?  http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/service1.html

  • I keep getting signed out of Creative Cloud and getting reverted back to trial version

I get signed out a lot whenever I work off of an external USB hard drive.  I've also noticed that I get signed out a lot whenever I plug or unplug USB devices (like Wacom tablets, USB drives, mouse, etc).  I suspect that the Creative Cloud manager is monitoring my system configuration and signing me out whenever it thinks I've switched to a different computer?????
Sometimes, I get signed out when I'm already working in the middle of somthing in Photoshop CC.  This is pretty frustrating and it totally disrupts my workflow.  Is there any way to stay signed in to Creative Cloud?

The suggestion does/did not help.  The problem is NOT that I can't log back in.  The issue is that I keep getting logged OUT.  I've always been able to log back in, but why do I need to keep logging in again when I'm working on the same computer?  I lose about 2 minutes everytime I need to log back into Creative Cloud.  If I have to log in 30 times, I lose a whole hour.
Typically, this is what happens to me.  I'll be in Lightroom doing RAW processing.  Then I'll get to a point when I need to bring the image into Photoshop.  When I launch Photoshop (ctrl + E), I'll get a message saying I need to sign in.  I sign in but then I get a message saying I need to complete my registration (which I ignore because otherwise, I'll be filling in the registration over and over and over  and over again).  I also always get the message to accept Adobe's Terms and Conditions again (which I've accepted many many many times already).  The odd thing is, when this happens, the image does not open in Photoshop.  I have to close Photoshop, return to Lightroom and hit ctrl + E again (losing more time).
Sometimes, when I sign back in, I get a message saying I'm using Trial software (huh????).
I'm a software engineer myself.  I am almost positive that the Creative Cloud desktop app is using an algorithm that tries (but fails miserably) to figure out that I'm installing the Creative Cloud apps on different machines.  I understand that you guys are trying hard to keep people from installing the apps on more than 2 machines, but this is an awful way to do it.
Please forward this to your software team.

  • Why has PhotoShop CC switched back to Trial version?

I have an active CC subscription that has been working fine for some time now.
A couple of days ago, CC 'updated' PhotoShop.
I have just launched PhotoShop but a screen appears saying that it is the PhotoShop Trial.
I know that my subscription is still active because Adobe have just taken a payment.
If I click the button that says 'License This Software' I'm prompted for a serial number which I've never received.
Any ideas what I should do (other than cancelling payments to Adobe)?

First try logging out of the CC Desktop app using its Preferences / Accounts area, then reboot, then log back in to the CC Desktop app.
If that doesn’t work, try uninstalling and re-installing the Creative Cloud app, first, and then if that doesn’t work, Photoshop CC, from:
    https://creative.adobe.com/products
It’s not clear why a CC product would be asking for a serial number unless something is corrupted in the licensing objects on your computer and there is not an obvious way to reset those.  CC is licensed by logging into the CC Desktop app, but I think there is a serial number stored internally so they can track your specific license, so maybe that is no longer stored and so it’s asking for a new one.
Post your question over in the Adobe Creative Cloud forum.  There are Adobe Support people who seem to read and reply to messages over there when related to activation issues although I’m not sure how many of them are on during the weekend, and it seems like there are more of them late Sunday evening (US time) when its Monday morning in India:

  • After deactivating flash  pro after acrobat stopped working in CS6, all programs converted to Trial Versions. How do I reactivate? Is the only solution to delete all programs and download CS6?

    Reactivating acrobat in CS6

When you deactivate one program of a Suite the entire Suite is deactivated.  You should be able to reactivate by opening one of the programs and choosing Help -> Activate.  If that does not work then you probably need to uninstall the Suite and reinstall it.

  • Il yesterday, when suddenly it turned into a "trial version".  I now have 29 days to use it until it expires and I cannot use it anymore.  I BOUGHT IT.  I PAID FOR IT.  What is going on???  No one will answer my question.  I've posted on Facebook and here

    See above.@

Elements is not part of creative cloud, although I'm not sure what the answer is. I would try contacting adobe via this page:

  • Device licenses revert to trial version.  can anyone help?

my device license was working fine.  All of the sudden it went back to trial version.

    Hello, thanks for replying.
This is in reference to apps on device licensing for the education sector.  When I try to open the app, it goes to trial version and it should not be doing that as licenses are paid for.

  • Photoshop CS6 suddenly trial version. Trial now "run out". Unable to use software.

My copy of Photoshop CS6 was suddenly marked down as a trial version, and now I can no longer even open the program.
I bought and paid for this program. Why am I suddenly not able to use it? How can I fix this?
(Also, am I the only one a little miffed that Adobe doesn't allow you to get DIRECT HELP unless you're a "premium member"?)

Try using menu Help>Activate if that item is there.  That menu item should switch to Deactivate when the install is activated.  Activation I believe writes some hidden data onto your disk it sound like  it no longer there.

  • How did my Creative Cloud subscription suddenly become a trial version?

I have had a Creative cloud subscription goig on one year. Now, when I open PS6 I am getting a message that I am in a trial version, inviting me to subscribe. Not only that, I get to subscribe for $20.00 a month more than my current subscription rate of $29.99. Please advise how I suddenly found myself in a trial version and why my rate is being increased

This is probably related to the issues here:
    http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1250287?tstart=0
You'll probably need to log in to the CC app again - and again - and again!

  • I had a trial version of Lightroom and Photoshop. Purchased the LR/PS deal. Photoshop still says trial version.

I had a trial version of CC Lightroom and Photoshop. Purchased the LR/PS Photographer deal. Lightroom seems to be running as a purchased app. But, Photoshop still says I have X number of days in my trial.
Any ideas on how to switch PS to a purchased app?
    Thanks

    Hi Atul,
I am having the same problem.
Logout then Login is not working for my case.
    History of my problem.
I installed LR 6/CC from Creative Cloud but it fails to open and while fixing it I uninstall all prevously installed apps (LR, Bridge, Photoshop CC)
Now I able to install/open LR6 but it reverted back to trial version and same issue with other apps.
Adobe Customer Care is pathetic (not possible get direct chat).
No idea how to solve my problem.
I fear to trust to Adobe of loosing my lifetime collection of pics.
    Any help is appreciated.
    Regards
    Ashish

  • I contracted CC, however, I only got trial versions on most products, what happens when the 30-day trial runs out?

I'm a teacher and I have contracted CC yesterday, my payment was already compensated but on the CC app most of the programs are actually trial versions, I thought I would have complete access to all of the adobe programs shown on the website.

Thank you for your reply Rajshree,
I asked for my country to be changed to Brazil, as it is where I am now, using a Brazilian credit card. The ID of my order is: 25789001824, and payment has already been processed. I've talked to Himswatha yesterday and Devika today on chat support. I will contact chat support once more then.
Devika did escalate my request to the next level of assistance.
