Supplement pricing procedure in pricing

Hi,
SAP has provided main pricing procedure RM0000 (Purchasing Document (Big)), along with the other 2 pricing procedure - 1 for header RM0001(Condition Supplement Header) and second one for item conditions
RM0002 (Condition Supplement Price).
basically these 2 are the bifurcation of the main procedure.if we compare then, what conditions are appearing in the main procedure are there either in header procedure or item procedure.
RM0000= RM0001 + RM0002
I want to understand what is the reason behind to have header and item procedure along with the main pricing procedure when the conditions are already covered in the main procedure ?
selection of condition as header and item or both is controlled by the tick in the condition itself? then what is the need to have three procedures working simultaneously ?
also there is no NAVS/NAVM conditions in the header and item pricing procedure, where as it is there in the main procedure? any reason.
if the condition is marked as manual in the main pricing procedure, then same condition type is not marked as manual in the header and item pricing procedure. any reasons?
if the condition is marked as statistical in the main pricing procedure, then same condition type is not marked as statistical in the header and item pricing procedure. any reasons?
I have one packing and forwarding condition that can be used both as header and item condition, do I have to include this condition in both header supplement and item supplement procedure?
what is guess, in the case of header and item procedure, one has to simply list down the conditions in the order of sequence?
Request you to clarify the doubt, could find any explaintion in any study material.
thanks

Any answers,
thanks

Pricing excise duties will not come or how the scenario..??
Some explain me without any ling here, it will be thankfull.
    Thanks

    HI,
Basically why we have taxing procedure is that its always country specific that means it can be any vendor selling any material but he has to follow some government regualations whcih is what will be given in the taxing procedure that sholuld be the same for all customers it will be different if the customer is foreign.
The pricing procedure is where we carry out pricing that is vendor specific here we can have different prices for different vendors depending on what he supplies and ETC.

  • Difference among different pricing procedure

    Hi,
I want to know that, what is the difference among different pricing procedure,Like
    Standard,return,sample,scrap and credit memo.
    Please reply soon.

    Hell tiwari,
<b>**Please Do reward if it helps**</b>
sales org + dist chan + div + document pric proc + cust pric proc --- > Pric Proc.
we determine the pric procedure. So, just have a different document pricing procedure for sales order document type and invoice document type. You can have a different pricing procedure with this change.
There are two simple reasons for making any Pricing Procedure in SAP  SD Modules.
    1) Business Reason. What are the pricing aspects or strategies you want to apply for the client requirement in order to sell their
goods or render services, is all about the reason for various pricing procedures.
    Eg: Domestic sales pricing procedure,
    - Export Pricing Procedure,
    - A rebate pricing procedure or
    - A High Discount oriented pricing Procedures.
    - A repair pricing procedures.
You have your own conditions intended to few transactions only. Put all this conditions as a set defining your own Procedures. It may even include special requirements and formulas applied for such Pricing Procedures.
    2) A special pricing procedures, in order to facilitate added functionalities of SAP pricing architecture, we must define new
pricing procedure. SAP Standard programmes checks these special Indicators in-order to do some required functions.
As a example 1, you need to have a Pricing procedure for condition supplement inorder to use the condition supplements. The condition supplement pricing procedure must be given in the condition type definitions (v/06) of the Pricing Condition where you need to supplement, without which SAP SD Condtion Supplements functionality doesnt work.
As a example 2, you need to have a Pricing procedure for Inter Company Billing Conditions(IV01 & IV02) inorder to be active for Inter Company Billing specific transactions. Thus make sure that, the procedure wouldnot apply for non-Inter company transactions.
Eg: KA0000 for Condition Supplement for KA00
    - PR0000 for Condition Supplement for PR00
    - ICAA01 for Inter-Company Billing
In V/08 of defining a new Pricing Procedure, in main screen, you have a field called TSPP (Transaction Specific Pricing Procedure). This has to be ticked on for Intercompany Billings.
The SAP help reads for this field as Under: Transaction-specific pricing procedure
    Pricing procedure transaction-specific indicator
Before Release 4.0A, no special pricing procedures were used for intercompany billing and rebate credit memos, programs were just set accordingly to deal with these situations. As of Release 4.0A you are offered greater flexibility in the form of the option to define special pricing procedures for intercompany billing and rebate credit memos. For reasons of future compatability, you will still be able to use the old program specifications. For this reason, you must set this indicator if you want to create a special pricing procedure. This is to prevent the program settings being used.
This indicator is also used as of Release 4.0A to redetermine the condition class and the statistical condition indicator when copying from a reference document.
    Example:
You copy prices from a shipment document to the billing document. The prices should lead to a surcharge in the billing document. This is guaranteed by the redetermination of the condition class in the pricing procedure.
Same case with Standard Pricing procedure or Inter Company Pricing Procedure.

  • Pricing procedure of free goods

Could anyone please tell me the effect of pricing procedure in free godds? And what is the difference between pricing procedure in free goods(IMG->Sales and Distribution->Basic Funcions->Free Goods) and pricing procedure in pricing(IMG->Sales and Distribution->Basic Funcions->Pricing)

    Hi Wei Zhang,
When there are more than 2 materials say material A which is of some price, and material B which is Free of cost, then the item category will be different for those. TAN for Mat A and TANN for materail B.
Pricing is depends upon the customer pricing procedure and document pricing procedure along with the Sales Area.
When there are free Goods, Again yu have two conditions
    1. Give 100 % discount on free goods.
    2. Or charge 0 value for that.
This pricing procedure you can do in free goods priocing procedure.

  • Customer pricing procedure in Sales transactions

    Hello Experts,
In our CRM 2007 we have already customized the pricing procedure of the sales transactions for each sales area  / document pricing procedure / customer pricing procedure.  But creating sales transactions, our business needs system to take in consideration the customer pricing procedure of the partner in role Ship to party instead of the partner in role Sold to party.  Could anybody help telling how to set it?
    Many thanks in advance!

well... maybe my question is not clear...  the thing is that as a sample, we have a:
    1.Sales area = O 50000XXX
2.Sales document type with Pr. Procedure = A
    3.SoldTo with Cust Pr. Procedure = 1
    4.ShipTo with Cust Pr. Procedure = 2
When we create a sales document, system determines the Pr. Proc. of the doc as it was customized in view CRMV_PRCPROC_DET:
Sales area + Pr. Procedure of the sales doc type + Cust Pr. Procedure = Pr. Procedure of the sales doc
In our customizing we would like to have 2 rows (following the example)
    O 50000XXX + A + 1 = ZPROC1
    O 50000XXX + A + 2 = ZPROC2
We would need that system checks whether there is any Cust Pr Procedure in the master data of the ShipTo partner.
    - If yes, the Pr. Procedure of the sales doc = ZPROC2
    - If not, the Pr. Procedure of the sales doc = ZPROC1
but I have not managed to find where to adjust it (nor custom nor BADI). is there any idea or comment?

  • Explain the Pricing Procedure

    Hi Friends
Explain how the pricing is determined for an item, starting from the sales order
Discuss the full cycle also make a mention  on  the Condition type controls, and Maintain pricing procedure controls.
Kindly explain it with an example.
    Thanks

Pricing Procedure is indeed an heart of SD module, reason being if everything else is working fine, but price is not being calculated correctly, the purpose of billing fails.
An Overview of Determination & Configuration of Pricing Procedure is as follows:
In SD, Pricing Procedure is determined based on Sales Area (Sales Organization + Distribution Centre + Division) + Customer Pricing Procedure + Document Pricing Procedure. Sales Area is determined in Sales Order Header Level. Customer Pricing Procedure is determined from Customer Master. Document Pricing Procedure is determined from Sales Document Type / Billing Type (if configured). Once the pricing procedure is determined, Condition records are fetched. If appropriate condition records are found, the price is determined. If Mandatory pricing condition is missing, system will through an error message.
In SD, the steps to configure Pricing procedure are as under:
    Step 1:
Condition table: If existing condition table meets the requirement, we need not create a new condition table. Considering the requirement for new condition table, the configuration will be done in spro as follows: IMG -> Sales & Distribution -> Basic Function -> Pricing Control -> Condition Table (select the required fields combination, which will store condition record).
    Step 2:
Access Sequence: If existing access sequence meets the requirement, we need not create a new access sequence. Considering the requirement for new sequence, the configuration will be done in spro as follows: IMG -> Sales & Distribution -> Basic Function -> Pricing Control -> Access Sequence (Access sequence is made up of Accesses (Tables) & the order of priority in which it is to be accessed. Here we assign the condition table to access sequence.
    Step 3:
Condition Type: If existing condition type meets the requirement, we need not create a new condition type. Considering the requirement for new condition type, the configuration will be done in spro as follows: IMG -> Sales & Distribution -> Basic Function -> Pricing Control -> Condition Type. It is always recommended to copy an existing similar condition type & make the neccessary changes. Here we assign Access sequence to Condition type.
    Step 4:
    a. Pricing Procedure: It is recommended to copy a similar pricing procedure & make the neccesary changes in new pricing procedure. Pricing Procedure is a set of condition type & arranged in the sequence in which it has to perform the calculation. Considering the requirement for new Pricing Procedure, the configuration will be done in spro as follows: IMG -> Sales & Distribution -> Basic Function -> Pricing Control -> Pricing Procedure --> Maintain Pricing Procedure.
    b. Pricing Procedure: After maintaining the pricing procedure the next step will be determination of pricing procedure. Configuration for determining pricing procedure in SPRO is as follows: IMG -> Sales & Distribution -> Basic Function -> Pricing Control -> Pricing Procedure --> Determine Pricing Procedure.
Step 5: Condition record: Condition record is a master data, which is required to be maintained by Core team / person responsible from the client. During new implementation, the condition records can be uploaded using tools like SCAT, LSMW, etc.

  • Condition Type in Pricing Procedure Determination

    Dear All,
I want some clarity in Pricing Procedure determination. As I know in IMG we determine pricing procedure by the combination of Sales Org, Dist. Channel, Division,  Cust. Pricing procedure and document Pricing procedure. There is additional tab Condition type. I just wanted to know the use of that particular field(Condition Type). Please help me to clear this point. Please also give any example if possible.

    Hi Nitesh,
As u rightly said we determine P. procedure in combination of Sales Area (Org, Dist.+ Channel + Division), Cust. Pricing procedure & document Pricing procedure, in condition Type we need to assign basic price condition type. U may have multiple pricing procedure in combination with sales Area & Doc PP, Cust pp so there u can assign basic price c type which is applicable to that P. procedure.
Here we assign PP to Condition type, ultimately it captures it in Sales Order condition tab.
    Ex. 1000 10 10 A 1 ZDOMPP PR00 (Basic Price C. Type for Domestic)
          2000 20 20 A 1 ZEXPPP ER00 (Basic Price C. Type for Export)

  • PRICING PROCEDURE-CALCULATION SCHEMA

    Dear All,
There are some queries regarding pricing procedure calculation schema. Please help me out:
    1) What is the use of the "Requirement" column in calculation schema in real time scenario?
    2) What is meant by "Alternative calculation type" and "Alternative base value" column? What is its use in real time scenario?
    3) In the Print column if we place "X",it says "Printing at item level (previous procedure)".What does this actually means?
    4) What is the use of "Accurals" and what effect does it have in the pricing procedure and pricing calculation?
For all the above queries  some real time scenario example willbe highly appreciable.
    Regards,
    Indranil

    1) What is the use of the "Requirement" column in calculation schema in real time scenario?
    Requirement
    Use
If the requirement is fulfilled (SY-SUBRC = 0), then output
determination also takes into consideration output type or the access
sequence, for which the requirement has been specified.
    Examples
A possible requirement would be, for example, that a difference shoul
be made between document currency and local currency .
    Definition
Number of a subroutine (= form routine), that checks a requirement at a
         specific time.
    Use
The standard SAP system contains some standard routines for checking
requirements when copying. You can also define your own routines
according to the needs of your company.
    Example
If you copy a quotation to a sales order, the system can check every
quotation item to ensure that the customer had not rejected them for any
         reason.
    2) What is meant by "Alternative calculation type" and "Alternative base value" column? What is its use in real time scenario?
If you are using any Formula to Derive the Condition Type then you can use  Alternative formula to the formula in the standard system that
    determines a condition.
Alternative formula for condition base value
Formula for determining the condition basis as an alternative to t
         standard.
    Example
An absolute header discount is, for example, distributed in the st
system according to the cumulative value of the items.
If the system, however, distributes the absolute header discount
according to volume, a header discount of $30 results in the follo
         discounts:
         Item       Value  Volume              Discount
                                      Stand. disc.   Volume disc.
           1        $1000  2 cbm         $20             $10
           2        $500   4 cbm         $10             $20
    3) In the Print column if we place "X",it says "Printing at item level (previous procedure)".What does this actually means?
If you Put 'X" , it will be shown in the Print Output..
    Print ID for condition lines
Controls issue of condition lines when printing documents such as order
         confirmations or invoices.
    Use
In releases previous to 4.0, the following print indicators are
         available :
         o   ' ' : Condition line is not printed
o   'X' : Condition line is printed at item level
o   'S' : Condition line is printed in totals block
The following standard logic is set out for these printing indicators:

  • Pricing procedure execution...

    Hi Folks,
How SAP reads the pricing procedure..
    Example
    Con.Type      Requirement        Routine
    ZSAA            601                     901
    ZSAB            602                     902
Doubt 1: -Is system reads this pricing procedure line by line or coulmn by column?, In the debug we noticed it goes column by colmun? why?
Doubt 2: - I want to know the value found for ZSAA during the execution of 602 requirement. Example scenario is if ZSAA is more than 100$ don't execute ZSAB.

    Pricing Procedure:
    Determination of Pricing Procedure:
In SD, Pricing Procedure is determined based on Sales Area (Sales Organization + Distribution Centre + Division) + Customer Pricing Procedure + Document Pricing Procedure through T.Code: OVKK.
    Configuration of Pricing Procedure:
    Step 1:
Condition table (T.Code: V/04): If existing condition table meets the requirement, we need not create a new condition table. Considering the requirement for new condition table, the configuration will be done in spro as follows: IMG --> Sales & Distribution --> Basic Function --> Pricing Control --> Condition Table (select the required fields combination, which will store condition record).
    Step 2:
Access Sequence (T.Code: V/07): If existing access sequence meets the requirement, we need not create a new access sequence. Considering the requirement for new sequence, the configuration will be done in spro as follows: IMG --> Sales & Distribution --> Basic Function --> Pricing Control --> Access Sequence (Access sequence is made up of Accesses (Tables) & the order of priority in which it is to be accessed. Here we assign the condition table to access sequence.
    Step 3:
Condition Type (T.Code: V/06): If existing condition type meets the requirement, we need not create a new condition type. Considering the requirement for new condition type, the configuration will be done in spro as follows: IMG --> Sales & Distribution --> Basic Function --> Pricing Control --> Condition Type. It is always recommended to copy an existing similar condition type & make the neccessary changes. Here we assign Access sequence to Condition type.
    Step 4:
    a. Pricing Procedure (T.Code: V/08):  It is recommended to copy a similar pricing procedure & make the neccesary changes in new pricing procedure. Pricing Procedure is a set of condition type & arranged in the sequence in which it has to perform the calculation. Considering the requirement for new Pricing Procedure, the configuration will be done in spro as follows: IMG --> Sales & Distribution --> Basic Function --> Pricing Control --> Pricing Procedure --> Maintain Pricing Procedure.
    b. Pricing Procedure (T.Code: VOK0): After maintaining the pricing procedure the next step will be determination of pricing procedure. Configuration for determining pricing procedure in SPRO is as follows: IMG --> Sales & Distribution --> Basic Function --> Pricing Control --> Pricing Procedure --> Determine Pricing Procedure.
    5. Condition record (T.Code: VK11 / VK12): Condition record is a master data, which is required to be maintained by Core team / person responsible from the client. During new implementation, the condition records can be uploaded using tools like SCAT, LSMW, etc. Condition Record is maintained in T.Code: VK11 / VK12, which are captured in Sales Order & Billing.
Also check document pricing procedure in Sales Document Type (T.Code: VOV8 - Sales order Type, VOFA: Billing Type (If Required)), customer pricing procedure in Customer Master Data (T.Code: XD02), ... are in place.

  • How to assign a pricing type to the pricing procedure ?

Business Scenario : When the prices change from the time the order is taken to the time the invoice is created, how can setup the system to  handle the changes automatically ?
I would like to know How to create a pricing type and How to assign a pricing type to the pricing procedure so that I can use the 'new pricing document' function in the sales document and 'Update prices' on the condition screens in the Billing document.
Thanks for your input in advance.
    Oscar

    Hi !! Oscar,
    1) For pricing type definition you would require the help of a developer.
    2) However, most of the commonly occuring requirements are supplied with  standard SAP.
You can assign a pricing type to pricing procedure as follows:-
IMG>S & D >Basic Functions>Pricing>Pricing Control>Define & Assign pricing procedures>Maintain pricing procedure> Here, locate your pricing procedure , in the fourth coloumn using the drop down list, you can assign a pricing type to the pricing procedure.
Now you can use the 'new pricing document' function in the sales document and 'Update prices' on the condition screens in the Billing document !

  • Document pricing procedure in Billing

    Dear All,
Can anybody tell me, what is the use of having a document price procedure in billing doc type ?
    Rgds,
    Indrajit

    hi,
During pricing, the system determines the pricing procedure by taking into account
    The sales area
The pricing procedure key in the header of the sales document type
The pricing procedure key in the customer master record
The pricing procedure determines how the system carries out pricing for a particular sales document
In sales document types - you will assign same doc pricing procedure
spro -> SD --> basic function --> pricing -->pricing control -->  define and assign pricing procedure --> define pricing procedure determination
    here you assign
    s.org / D.chl / dv / Doc Pricing proc /cust pricing procedure / pricing procedure
    thanks.

  • How to design a Pricing Procedure with both MWST and MWSI in it ?

    Hi there.
My business requirement dictates that I can have both Tax inclusive(PR01/MWSI) and Tax Exclusive(PR00/MWST) items within a Single Sales Order.
I know that One pricing procedure can only be assigned to 1 Document Type. So,
Has anyone successfully created a Pricing Procedure that incorporates both the MWST and MWSI tax components ? If so, could you post a sample of the pricing procedure in order for me to understand how I should group the discounts/surcharges and reflect the Subtotals, as well as incorporate the MWST and MWSI all within a single Pricing Procedure ? I will also need to include the PR01 and PR00 conditions into the procedure too, right ?
Really really hope someone with the experience, can aid me on this. I cannot find any relevant materials on this matter, both in OSS Sapnotes and within this forum.
