Supporting Multiple Registrars with CME

Hello,
I am attempting to utilize the "Multiple Registrars on SIP Trunks" IOS feature with my Call Manager Express.
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/ios/voice/sip/configuration/guide/sip_cg-multi-registrars.html
I want to register to a BroadSoft via two different Edge Session Border Controllers.
I have configured the two registrars, but I have a problem when those registration methods go out. Since I am registering to a BroadSoft, I need the registering SIP URI to look like this:
REGISTER sip:test.domain:6034
From:[email protected]
This works fine when I use a single registration. But when I try to use multiple registrations I get:
REGISTER sip: 11.11.11.11:6034
From:[email protected]
Which the BroadSoft rejects because the SIP URI does not include “test.domain”
Has anyone else had any experience with multiple registrations with BroadSoft? Thanks in advance.

Hi Tod,
I think so, but I must say its very confusing for me.
You can check few threads regarding CUBE licensing..

  • Supporting multiple companies with JES6

I have been trying to find instructions to support multiple companies using email, calendar, and IM on a single installation of JES6 (messaging, calendar, IM, delegated admin, independent convergence, etc). I have had no luck.
The sales pitch talks a great story about scalability, so I must be missing something. Sun Docs does not have Messaging Server 7.0 yet. The wiki that the product page sends you to is incomplete. I am not sure when Sun made the decision to not require complete documentation before a product is released, but I find that frustrating.
I see that I can add multiple domains in Delegated Administrator, but this does not create separate partition areas in Messaging Server. I believe that you need to separate each company's email and calendar so that conflicts in names don't happen.
Can someone direct me to a document or tell me how to do this? Please?

I have had no luck.Log into Delegated Administrator and create a new organisation for each of the companies you wish to support. This organisation will require a domain-name e.g. somecompany.com (hence the term "hosted domain"). The users in the company then log into Messaging/Calendar/Convergence with [email protected].
The sales pitch talks a great story about scalability, so I must be missing something. Hosted/Virtual domain functionality is in use by a number of companies to provide the very functionality you refer to.
Sun Docs does not have Messaging Server 7.0 yet. There is no intention to provide static PDF based docs for communication-suite-6 products (which include MS7.0) going forth.
The wiki that the product page sends you to is incomplete. How exactly is it incomplete? Where there are differences between MS6.3 and MS7.0 they are documented on the http://wikis.sun.com/display/CommSuite/ site.
I am not sure when Sun made the decision to not require complete documentation before a product is released, but I find that frustrating.Once again, what exactly is not complete. Sweeping statements aren't really constructive. The wiki format has provided the ability to provide much quicker updates and enhancements to the documentation then was previously possible with the publish-once PDF guide mechanism.
I see that I can add multiple domains in Delegated Administrator, but this does not create separate partition areas in Messaging Server. I believe that you need to separate each company's email and calendar so that conflicts in names don't happen. You don't require separate partitions as Messaging Server and Calendar Server both use the hosted domain information in their storage e.g.
    bash-3.00# ./mboxutil -lxp user/[email protected]/INBOX
msgs  Kbytes last msg         partition   quotaroot mailbox path and acl
         3     240 2008/04/03 07:28 primary          5120 user/[email protected]/INBOX /opt/SUNWmsgsr/data/store/partition/primary/=user/b7/e4/=testuser@hosted%dsun%dcom [email protected] lrswipcda
    bash-3.00# ./mboxutil -lxp user/shjorth/INBOX
msgs  Kbytes last msg         partition   quotaroot mailbox path and acl
6      37 2008/09/12 13:08 primary          5120 user/shjorth/INBOX /opt/SUNWmsgsr/data/store/partition/primary/=user/c4/31/=shjorth shjorth   lrswipcdaSo in the above example "testuser" is in the hosted.sun.com hosted domain and "shjorth" is in the aus.sun.com default domain. The default domain does not have the domain information appended in the path and is treated as a special case.
    bash-3.00# ./cscal list [email protected]
    [email protected]: [email protected] status=enabled
    bash-3.00# ./cscal list [email protected]
[email protected]: [email protected] status=enabledFor calendar server, the domain of the user is appended to the UID thus providing for separate UID name-spaces for each hosted-domain organisation.
    Regards,
    Shane.

  • Cisco 2811 - Multiple SIP with CME 8.6

    PLAN:

    sip.fongo.com
    sip.voicediscount.com
All incoming and local outgoing calls using fongo, while long distance & international via voipdiscount.
I have successfully got fongo.com service to work for both incoming and outgoing, however when I try a long distance & international calls I get a busy tone.

  • Does CISCO C3560X VLAN support multiple Network segments which are further configured with HSRP function

    Hi Cisco experts,
My name is Kumagai and I need your expert opinions below.
I am trying to configure one VLAN1 support multiple network segments as below.
(this should be a very straight forward configuration and should be OK, I think ? )
     interface Vlan1
     ip address 172.30.0.0 255.255.128.0
     ip address 172.30.31.253 255.255.254.0 secondary
     ip address 172.30.61.253 255.255.254.0 secondary
     ip address 172.30.71.253 255.255.254.0 secondary
     ip address 172.30.4.253 255.255.255.0 secondary
The only issue that is eating me is the above network segments are using HSRP too
and I am not sure is this possible with a combination of VLAN1 supporting multiples which are
further supported with HSRP settings in Cisco environment.
    !example of HSRP:
    interface Vlan4
     ip address 172.30.4.253 255.255.255.0
     no ip redirects
     standby 4 ip 172.30.4.254
     standby 4 priority 105
     standby 4 preempt
<<< what will happen if I add the HSRP configuration as below into the above VLAN1 with multiple Network segment ??)
I would like to summarize my "Combined" configurations as below but I need your expert opinions on
whether the configuration below is workable without any problem ??
Or it is a total flop because Cisco does not support the configuration below !!!
     interface Vlan1
     ip address 172.30.0.0 255.255.128.0
     ip address 172.30.31.253 255.255.254.0 secondary
     ip address 172.30.61.253 255.255.254.0 secondary
     ip address 172.30.71.253 255.255.254.0 secondary

    Hi,
As far as i know we dont set the ip helper address on the radio interface. It should be on the L3 interface of corresposding VLANs i.e.
    int vlan 20
    ip helper-address 192.168.33.xxx
    int vlan 60
    ip helper-address 130.20.1.xxx
I'm assuming that your using SVI's (int Vlan 20 and int Vlan 60) rahter than physical interfaces. Also hope you have configured switch port as trunk where this AP is connected.
Modify the AP config as below since you are using data vlan as the native vlan
    interface Dot11Radio0.20
    encapsulation dot1Q 20 native
    interface FastEthernet0.20
    encapsulation dot1Q 20 native
Ideally your AP fastethernet configuration should looks like below and not sure how you missed this as this comes by default when you have multiple vlans for multiple ssids.
    interface FastEthernet0.20
    encapsulation dot1Q 20 native
    no ip route-cache
    bridge-group 20
    no bridge-group 20 source-learning
    bridge-group 20 spanning-disabled
    interface FastEthernet0.60
    encapsulation dot1Q 60
    no ip route-cache
    bridge-group 60
    no bridge-group 60 source-learning
    bridge-group 60 spanning-disabled
    Hope this helps.

  • Can a single HID report descriptor support multiple touch screens with different sizes?

    Hi Experts:
I have a question for specifying touch monitor sizes in the HID report descriptor:
Can ONE HID report descriptor support multiple touch monitors with different sizes ?
    Thanks in advance
    leo

My screen shot is from AA9, and I have seen that the UI for AAX is vastly different, but...
Choose Paper Source from Page Size should be the "one-touch" solution your looking for.
In my test, my Konica-Minolta Bizhub failed to detect the proper paper trays, but Acrobat correctly spooled the pages.

    i want to ask :
Is QuickTime support Multiple SPS Mp4 file ?
    Thanks
    Shakti Kapoor
      Windows 2000

You didn't answer probably the most important question: whether you're using hardware or software Mercury Playback Engine (MPE). However, since you've set Maximum Render Quality on, it's largely irrelevant.
When you're using hardware MPE or have the MRQ flag set for your export, rendering is performed with linear color. Linear color processing affects how color channels and alpha channels are composited--anything less than 100% opacity is subject to linear color processing. Check out this article for more information on linear color/linear light: Linear Light - Artbeats
Since it sounds like you're seeing the results you expect in the Program Monitor, but not export, I'll wager you're not using hardware MPE. Only by disabling the Maximum Render Quality flag on export will you be able to get results that match what you see in the Program Monitor (within reason, of course). The only way you could see the effects of linear color within Premiere would be to either use a qualified GPU that enables hardware MPE, or go into your Sequence Settings and check the "Maximum Render Quality" option and then render previews.
Please let me know if that helps resolve the issue, or at least provide a little insight into the problem.

  • There are multiple users with the same display name

    Hi,
We have a user and when she get an item assigned to her she sees the following alert:
"There are multiple users with the same display name USERNAME and at least one of them does not have read permissions to some of the files"
Now I looked in the database and when I run the following query with the username:
     SELECT
         [ProviderDisplayName]
        ,[DisplayName]
        ,[HasDisplayName]
        ,[Domain]
        ,[AccountName]
        ,[UniqueUserId]
        ,[LastSync]
FROM [Tfs_Configuration].[dbo].[tbl_Identity] where displayname like '%USERNAME%'
Then I get 2 same usernames back, How can I get rid of one of them ? When I access TFS trough the portal I only find 1 occurence of this user.
    We use VS2013 and TFS2013 update 4
    Best regards

    Hi DSW,
    Thanks for your post.
In your query result, please check if these two users have the same Account Name. if they are two different Account Name in result, it indicate there’s two users have the same display name in your AD, please check that two users’ information in
your AD. We suggest change one user’s display name in AD.

  • LDAP supporting multiple DNS domains

I have an environment with multiple DNS domains, and am configuring a Directory server (DS 6.3.1) to centralize various OS configuration maps including user authentication. None of the DNS domains have unique data, so I'd like to do something like storing all the real data in one suffix, then somehow have all clients look to that primary suffix. I am aware that the Solaris Native LDAP client wants to bind to a nisDomainObject that matches its DNS domain. I'm just having a hard time believing that I really need to manage all those individual suffixes when they don't have unique data requirements.
Take as an example the following domains to be supported: foo.example.com, bar.example.com, dev.example.com, qa.example.com, prd.example.com (no hosts are actually in "example.com", they are all in subdomains). Again, all share common configuration data, same user IDs, etc - no unique maps are required.
I created a suffix, "dc=example, dc=com", set it up with idsconfig. All is well there.
[A] My first thought is to bind all Solaris clients, regardless of their DNS domain, to the baseDN of "dc=example, dc=com" in order to avoid having a separate suffix for each DNS domain. I tried to do this using "-a defaultSearchPath=dc=example,dc=com" with ldapclient init, but it failed with an error indicating it wants to see the nisDomainObject of its real DNS domain.
The second though I had, which I don't believe is possible, is to find some sort of a LDAP equivalent of a symbolic link so that I could actually have an object for each DNS domain, but it would simply point back to "dc=example,dc=com". I can't find anything in the documentation which suggests this is possible, but I'd love to be wrong!
[C] Perhaps this could be somehow done with a rats nest of SSDs, but that really seems unwieldy, right? I plan on using a fair amount of the available objects, so it would be many SSDs per suffix. Yuck.
Can anyone comment on my above thoughts, or provide how they would go about supporting multiple DNS domains that have common configuration data?
    Thank you,
    Chris

Ok, I answered my own question. Turns out it's pretty easy. Just use the "-a domainName=example.com" option with `ldapclient` then make sure that the FQDN of the LDAP server is available (or use its IP address). My problem was that the ldapclient overwriting nsswotch.conf was clobbering the SSL session because I used the FQDN which couldn't resolve.
This leaves an interesting condition of having the output of "domainname" not match the DNS domain. I'm testing now to see if this causes any unexpected issues with our environmnet, but I suspect it's not a problem.

  • Bridge CS4 won't output to pdf multiple images with same filename

Hiya...my googling efforts have thus far failed!
I've got CS4, and in Bridge, I created a New Smart Collection to find all filenames in a folder containing "." or ".jpg" - which in turn searched through all the subfolders like what you used to be able to do in Photoshop CS3.  Very simple stuff, but all the images are jpg's, but in multiple folders (I don't want to move them out of the folders, as the files came from an external source, and there are heaps of folders, and I don't want to pdf each subfolder seperately as it will take forever).
The problem is that some of the files have the same filenames (again I'd prefer not to rename, as it happens a lot on this project, and they are all over the place).  So whilst Bridge will show the thumbnail images correctly in the content tabbed screen in my New Smart Collection, but once I've done the Output to PDF thing, for example, instead of showing both different images it has pdf only the first image but repeated it twice.  And this happens multiple times throughout the pdf, the more times the same filename is used, the more times the first image gets repeated.
I know that it is messy to have multiple similar filenames, but why can't bridge just place the image anyway?  It allocated a space for it on the pdf and does show it in bridge, it just doesn't seem to survive the transfer to pdf well.
The only other thing that I have done is use the below link (which was posted on another adobe forum thread) to create a custom pdf output template (nothing too fancy, just number of rows / columns, size, font etc).  But I've tried using the standard bridge templates and it does the same thing.
    http://www.proficiografik.com/2009/08/03/save-custom-pdf-output-template-in-adobe-bridge-c s4.html
Any help would be appreciated...even if to tell me that I am being unreasonable!
    UPDATE 16/11/09
Just to let you know that I seem to have resolved the bug inadvertently with one of the Adobe updates. The below is the link for the AdobeOutputModule-2.1-mul-AdobeUpdate.zip which was released on 2/19/2009 - which allows for headers & footers to be placed in the Ouput pdf. I finally installed it today, and everything seems to be working fine now (i.e. I can pdf multiple images with the same filenames and the pdf will actually show each different image rather than repeating only 1 of the images).
Must have been a fix installed in the contact sheet templates that get installed with the update - not sure why the original version was corrupted, but I've left that with the Adobe guys (I submitted a bug report - and they were able to replicate the problem but hadn't fixed it as yet).

When I click import from disc I am asked to choose a disc and then I get this message:
The following photos will not be imported because they are already present in the catalog. To see these photos in the catalog select 'Show in Library' (the import will be canceled).
This is followed by a long list of images. If I click 'Show in Library' I can see all the images with the same filename. And then they start to automatically write over those images with images from the disc. However they keep the same metadata and keywords from the previous images. If I click on Import and deselect the "don't reimport suspected duplicates" box, it imports only the images that don't share filenames and none of the images that do.
Is there a way of setting the "Don't reimport suspected duplicates" box in preferences?

  • Cisco Jabber client to support Multiple e-mail domains

    Hi All,
Per the following link, CUCM an IM&Presence starts supporting multiple domains at version 10:
    http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucm/rel_notes/10_0_1/delta/CUCM_BK_C206A718_00_cucm-new-and-changed-1001/CUCM_BK_C206A718_00_cucm-new-and-changed-1001_chapter_010.html#CUCM_RF_I31EA3AB_00
However, we have heard from Cisco that there is NO Jabber client that works with version 10 to support multiple email domains.
This may or not may be true.
Can someone who has connection with BU confirm this? If there is Jabber client that supports multiple email domains, what is the version and when is it going to be available?
    Thanks,
    Mustafa

Also, what are your comments about the use of Domain Alias vs. Domain with inetdomainbaseDN pointing to my organization? Which one was your choice?

I am using Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit OS.I've never had this problem before... today I opened iTunes and it prompted me to download the newest version.  I use iTunes all the time and have updated it multiple times with no issues.  During the installation process it gave me an error message that said:
    Runtime error!
    Program C:\Program Files\iTunes.exe
    R0634
An application has made an attempt to load the C runtime library incorrectly.
Please contact the application's support team for more information.
I quit the installation, uninstalled iTunes and rebooted my computer.  I now receive a similar message with a slight difference:
    Runtime error!
    Program C:\Program Files (x86)...
    R0634
An application has made an attempt to load the C runtime library incorrectly.
Please contact the application's support team for more information.
I did not leave anything out from the error message.  It doesn't point to a specific file, it just ends with "(x86)..."  Every time I boot up my computer, this error message pops up on my desktop.
How do I repair this issue?  I have found multiple suggested solutions but am unsure which one is the best, and I don't want to try a bunch of different things for fear I may make the problem worse.  I would like to try and fix this myself if possible but I need to know if that is really possible or if I need to take my computer to someone for repairs.  Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!!

    Hi lustyln,
I'm having a little trouble understanding all of what you are trying to explain. From what I can tell, it sounds like your PC has a lot of software problems and you want to know what is supposed to be there and what isn't.
For reference, here are your product specifications:
    http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?cc=us&dlc=en&docname=c01893242&lc=en&product=4043282
To get your PC software back to how it was when it was first purchased, run a system recovery:
    http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?cc=us&dlc=en&docname=c01867418&lc=en&product=4043282
    I hope this helps.

  • Can i have multiple monitor with my mac mini ?

Can i have multiple monitor with my mac mini like i do with my PC ?  2 differents screens.. not mirror.

There's lots of Mac Mini models since 2006 or so. What do you have?
Most support two monitors but how you do it is different depending on model.
    Put this phrase into Google
            dual monitors, mac mini
and you'll come up with the solution needed based on which MM you have.

  • How do I share multiple contacts with another iPhone?

How do I share multiple contacts with another iPhone? Thanks in advance.

    What do you mean share?
It is not possible to send contacts from one iPhone to another without installing an app that would support this.  Bump is one such app.
There is no functionality in iOS to do this.  iCloud can share contacts across multiple iDevices, but it would be ALL contacts, just just a few.
