Supress animation during presentation when going to a certain slide
Sometimes during a presentation I am asked to show a certain slide and I would like to go to that slide without going through all the animation again but just show the slide in its final stage. Anyone know how to do this?
Keynote is not as clean as PPT for jumping straight to a slide during a presentation. But, you can quickly cut through any animations by holding down the Option key and pressing any of the advance keys (arrows, brackets, etc.) While in a presentation, press the slash key to see a cheat sheet of other shortcuts. The option key trick isn't listed there, but the slide switcher keys show a crude way of quickly jumping around the presentation.

I'm new to Adobe Edge and I'm not really familiar with either CSS or javascript but I'm getting better. I've been trying to work on the navigational menu for my website for two weeks and the progress is very slow. I finally got the dropdown menu to happen correctly, except one thing. When I scroll down on the "AccomButton" and move the mouse past the 50% point of the object, the animation for the "up" occurs. I have it set to do this on "mouseleave". This seems to be the only instance in which the "up" animation is occuring wrongly. If I hover on any of the top 50% of the "AccomButton", it stays in the down or "stop" position.
Your help will be very much appreciated as my head hurts from banging it on the table the past two days!

Youtube, other flash players, and media players works fine full screen. IE plays netflix fine. The laptop is new, HP Pavilion dv6. All audio and video drivers have been updated. Firefox and ms silverlight updated. Tried un-installing and re-installing silverlight. I agree, but as netflix plays fine full screen in IE, there is a problem with how Silverlight is working with firefox. It acts as if it is occupying the full screen (no parts cut out) but there is still that annoying gap. I'm wondering if anybody else has come across this problem, or more importantly, a way to fix it.

I updated my Iphone 5 to iOS7 but during setup when i agree to 'Terms and Conditions', its not going to any other screen, it seems as if its going in some infinite loop. Please assist what to do in that case ?

How can I close a file when going back to my master presentation?
I have about 20 large presentations with mixed video and images that are controlled from a master presentation. When I run a presentation and then go back to the master the presentation, the one I just showed remains open. These are really big and I don't want them to be open unless I'm showing them. Everything is running fine but I don't want a glitch in the middle of the presentations because I run out of memory or even virtual memory.
Any of you figured out how to close a presentation when you hyperlink back to the master file?
Thanks - LarryCheck with Apple support. Had to go to the expert to get the answer. If you use the hyperlink to open up different Keynote files and return to the main menu file it will leave the other presentation open. So if you have presentations using QT video it will run out of VM based on the disk space you have.

Contolling QuickTime movies during presentation
I need to be able to control how the movie goes during a presentation, like going step by step or stop at some point.
I did not find how to put the control buttons available in the inspector (when building the Keynote-presentation) inside the slide.
Has anayone succeed to do that ?
BernardQuickTime CONTROL may be better supported in PPT, but movies themselves are MUCH better in Keynote. You can stack them up and change the transparency and it'll actualy play. I have no idea what PPT will do with more than one movie on a slide, and forget transparency at all. On top of that Keynote supports movies with an alpha channel, so you can use animated objects made with an app like Motion and they will play in Keynote with a transparent background, floating on your slide. Pretty cool stuff.

"choppy" slide transition during presentation
Whenever the slides in my presentation contain charts or graphs, the transition to that slide becomes "choppy" and slow. I press the spacebar to go to the next slide and it lags for about 10 seconds before going to that slide with graphs. Other times, when I use more dramatic transitions, it simply becomes "choppy". Why does it hang during presentation, and how can i fix it?

+Many Thanks+.Ok, try copying passing the chart through preview to change it from something that needs to be calculated on the fly to something that is JUST a chart. (First, be sure to save off your original presentation so that if you need to change some values, you can do that easily).
With this backup presentation, select the chart, Copy, Open Preview, Do Command-N, Copy, then paste back into Keynote over the other chart. Delete the original chart and then try the presentation like that. If it works better, then just keep that as a separate "presenting" document, making updates as needed from your original. -
Weird bug in my animation, only happens when playing in Chrome browser? How do I debug this?

I have an animation / swf file I have created in flash, when I export the swf and test it in flash it's fine.
And when I run the webpage that contains the swf in Google Chrome browser I get like a white box that just pops up on the screen for a few seconds on the first loop of the animation and then it goes away, and I can not workout why it does that in Chrome, all the other browsers show the animation behaving like it should

This is probably an outdated method? This file was originally created in 2006.
This doesnt come up when testing the file in flash or show up in another of the other browsers liek ie, ff, safari etc and behaves like it should. Why is Chrome doing this to me?
I tried debugging the file and going through the layers but I don't see anything why that box would be coming up for a few seconds on the first loop.

During presentations, Keynote slides are small. If exported to ppt, some photos are missing.
During slideshow presentations, if I use Keynote the slides are small. If Keynote is exported to ppt, numerous photos, slides are missing. Can i embed photos in Keynote - would that resolve when exporting?
I haven't seen this, but I don't do a lot of video exporting. My first guess would be that the files may be larger than the prior files... attempting to play at a higher bitrate and the PC is choking on them. Can you compare against a prior exported .mp4 file to determine if the bit rate is any different? Also, make sure that VLC hasn't been updated either.

Play sound when going to previous slide
I have a Next and Previous button on my slide presentation.
When I click forward button, it does a StopAllSounds and goes to
the next slide, and starts the sound for slide 2 correctly.
However, if I then click the Previous button, it goes to the
previous slide, but will not start sound, and if I do this Previous
button, then click next, the sound on slide 2 is somehow disabled
from playing.
Is there an easy way to setup slide presentations with sound?
I'd like o avoide overlapping sound (playing sound from slide 1
when on slide 2, and stopping and starting correctly).I'm struggling with the same issues, except that I can't even
get the sound to start. Have you found a solution that works, and

How to scroll presenters notes during presentation?
I have some slides with quite a lot of notes. How do I scroll the presenters notes during a presentation when I am using the Presenter Display? I can see the notes, but they are too long to show in the window. I can't figure out how to scroll the notes to read the rest of the notes.

When going to update it says there is a billing problem with the previous purchase when I go to update it still won't let me download and all the info is correct. How do I fix this?

Open Process Orders take-over when going-live
Hello PP People
Does anyone have any experience/recommendation about the transition/take-over of open process orders from a legacy system to SAP when going live ?
These process orders are started in the legacy system and should arrive in a partially confirmed (hours/consumptions) status in the SAP system at go-live. How is this generally tackled from a CO point of view ?

The method adopted depends on the business requirements. There are quite many options which can be adopted. So first thing i would say is get a clear business requirement what business expects from this migration.
Some of the options could be
1. Close all orders in the legacy system & create new orders in the SAP system & post back the confirmations, post goods movement as per the legacy system.
2. Create a material per order carrying the cost (WIP value) as per the legacy system, assign this component in the component list & post this mateiral to the order, thereby the WIP vlaue will be acrrued to the order.
3. Ask your FI-CO personnel to post the WIP value to the order from FI side.
There could be many more approaches, the choice depends purely on business needs. Hope the above gave you some guideline.

I have a keynote presentation that includes a significant amount of video. When I edit the keynote slides (not the video slides) how can I save the changes without re-saving the videos (because that takes a VERY long time)? I edit the presentation depending on the audience to which I am presenting.
If you add a new slide with just a text box (therefore a very small amount of data), to an existing presentation then save, Keynote will only save the new content to the file, it wont save pre-existing content as its already included in the file.
The time taken to "save" will be very much shorter than a "save as" when all of the existing content is saved again. -
