Surveys & Polling?

We are looking for the best tools available to create surveys and polls that will integrate with Eloqua so we can easily capture data and incorporate them into pages...
We are using Survey Monkey right now.
Ideas? Suggestions?
Thanks!

Hello, Quick heads up to you all re: Kwanzoo. We are an Eloqua AppCloud Partner, and we fully integrate with Eloqua via the Kwanzoo Cloud Connector. You can place Kwanzoo's rich media polls (single question) and mini-surveys (multi-question) directly inside Eloqua emails, on Eloqua landing pages, Facebook pages, inside blog posts, partner/channel placements. You can even serve these polls out as interactive (rich media) ad units.
Kwanzoo's rich media polls store the prospect's poll responses back directly inside the relevant Eloqua contact record. We have essentially integrated with Eloqua's visitor tracking, and as a result are able to record prospect interactions regardless of where you place the poll. We currently store into Eloqua's custom fields. You can do post-processing via an Eloqua program builder step, move the poll response data say into a custom object (data card) and that way you can incrementally capture prospect responses, and augment a prospect profile over multiple digital touches (progressive profiling with rich media polls).
Our next release (coming out in early September) will store poll results directly into custom objects (data cards). So that can eliminate program builder post-processing for you, if all you need is to gather prospect response data and generate periodic reports. Of course, you will still want to post-process, if you want poll responses to drive lead scoring, or if you want to trigger an alert to your sales team.
Our multi-question surveys currently store survey response data in Kwanzoo (similar to Survey Monkey, Survey Gizmo, Qualtrics) along with a handle to the Eloqua prospect (i.e. the email address of the prospect). So we can provide some additional prospect insight for you, with short surveys. I do want to be clear that Kwanzoo Surveys are designed more for demand generation (i.e. to draw prospects further along a conversion path) than for detailed customer feedback with 10s of questions, and complex question flows.
What might be really compelling for you is how Kwanzoo Surveys can be triggered directly inside email (so the first question is click-able inside the email). And when the prospect clicks and starts taking the survey, it seamlessly moves the prospect from inside email onto a landing page to continue taking the survey. As far as we know, this inside-email rich media capability is unique to Kwanzoo. And it does make a big difference! (We have seen 30%+ increase in engagement + clicks with in-email rich media, versus a "Take the Survey" text or image link inside an email.). Kwanzoo Polls & Surveys also support interesting marketing flows, where:
- You can ask a poll question, present group poll results along with a contextually relevant call-to-action, then lead the prospect on to either a short lead form (also integrated with Eloqua) or to a tell-a-friend social promotion.
- You can trigger social actions (share on TWT, FB, LinkedIn) directly from a poll or mini-survey, after a prospect has completed the poll or survey.
Net-net, we are geared to help optimize demand creation and demand generation with Eloqua using a range of tactics, including rich media polls & mini-surveys.
Regards,
Mani

  • Create survey/poll with text fields

I want to create a survey in a meeting with text field type answers.  How would I do this?  I am using the hosted version of Connect and saw some reference to a Presenter add-in for PowerPoint, but don't seem have that.  We would like to have fields such as:
    Participant information (name, contact information
    Suggested future topics
What should I use to do this since the Poll Pod obnly allows for multiple choice or multiple answer options and not key-in fields?
    Karl

Adobe Presenter 7 is a product sold separately from Adobe Connect. Adobe Presenter can be purchased from many resellers.  It is a plug-in for MS Powerpoint and has the ability to upload many times of quizzes and polls in lots of types of formats.  You can download a 30 day trial from here:
    http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/tdrc/index.cfm?product=presenter&loc=en_us
Adobe Presenter is only available for the Windows platform. MS Powerpoint for Mac does not allow third-party plug-ins like Presenter.

  • Survey / Poll / Test Creation Documentation

I'm trying to document a process for "non-technical" people to create surveys in my portal. I would like, if possible, to find some Oracle documentation (not online help) to help explain the process. The documentation seems not to exist but that seems so "un-Oracle-like". Anyone know where a PDF can be found that explains Survey Creation?
    Thanks!

  • How to access survey and poll portal?

    hi,
i got through the document and that say, this is the out of box facility. how can i make a portal link, by clicking that i can access the survey and poll facility?
    please give me steps?
    dhananjay

You have to add the "Sruvey builder" portlet to an existing page to allow for creation of survey's polls. During creation, you can choose a page to publish the survey to.
Otherwise, you can create a page and add the Survey FORM portlet to it. Then edit the portlet to display your created survey/poll.
See the portal admin guide for additional info.

  • TROUBLE POSITIONING A POLL ON A WEBPAGE

I have created a poll with a MySql flash survey/poll script.  How can I control where I position this script on my webpage?  Do I need to place it within a table?  I tried doing that, but had some weird results.  So far, I can only place the poll on the upper left or right hand corners of the page, but would like to place it in the lower right hand section of the page or some other place on the page for that matter.  Any help is greatly appreciated.  I have been trying to look for advice online about positioning poll code, but have not found any advice on this.  Thanks!

Can you provide a link to the page?  It is hard to help you without seeing what you are dealing with!

  • Survey Portlet questions

    A couple of them...
Where does the survey portlet put it's data-what does the data model look like; or where is it documented?
Is there a configuration that I didn't perform to get survey polls and survey tests to work...? Again, where is the data for the results; providing that these acutally work?
I did manage to create a bunch of surveys and delete them from the survey portlet; however they still show up in
providers-registered providers-user surveys; with no delete or remove attribues (just grant access); how do I get rid of them for good?
    Thanks
    Ron.

I am trying to find out where Survey builder stores the values of the responses that users enter....I was looking in wwv_text....had no luck any suggestions?
    Thanks.

  • How to create Survey?

    Dear All
I know that there is a portlets for survey. But in fact I do not know how to use it.
How to create the questions and how to collect the answers
Is there any one tried this before?
    Thanks in advance

To get started, go to http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B14099_19/portal.1014/b13809/apdxdata.htm#sthref4783
and read the following sections regarding creating survey portlets:
A.5.7 Working with the Survey Portlets
    A.5.7.1 Creating a Survey
A.5.7.4 Adding a Survey, Poll, or Test to a Page
I'd also recommend searching this particular forum using the keyword "survey" since there have been many questions and answers about the built-in survey portlet posted here over the years that may be helpful for you.

  • Survey Builder: trying to copy a survey but nothing happens

I am trying to copy a survey. I click on the <browse icon>, then select an item from the list and then click the Copy button but nothing happens. The Edit and Delete buttons work but the Copy button does not. When I click the Copy button, the form does a submit and the Name field clears. Nothing else happens. Should I be doing something else to make the Copy function work?
Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks.

Here is the url of the documentation we used to verify what should happen after clicking the Copy button:
    http://oraclepartnernetwork.oracle.com/help/copysrvy.htm
To copy a survey, poll, or test:
    1. In the Edit section of the Survey Builder portlet, click the radio button next to the type of survey you want to copy, either Survey, Poll, or Test.
    2. Click the Browse icon () next to the Name field.
This opens a list with the names of all the available surveys of the type you indicated in step 1. For example, if you clicked the radio button next to Poll, then clicked the Browse icon, the resulting window will list all of the polls that are available to you. But it will not contain the names of any surveys or tests.
    3. From the resulting list, select the survey, poll, or test you want to copy.
This closes the list window and populates the Name field.
    4. Click the Copy button.
    5. In the To field in the resulting window, enter the name you want to assign to the copy.
    6.Click the Copy button.
7.In the resulting confirmation dialog, click OK.
Steps 1 to 4 work but we cannot get past step 5 because the resulting window with the To field does not appear after the Copy button is clicked.

  • Open-source java polling/survey software??

    Hello,
Does anyone know of a good open-source java polling software (web-based)?
    Thanks in advance,
    Julien.

javacardsign is a signing applet, and yes it tries to be pkcs15. With respect to opensc compatibility we still have to test and see what else remains to be done, but currently we have other priorities, so this will take time.
Regarding 7816 compatibility, you are absolutely right, this is too general. What is meant is that
    a) the instruction set is iso7816-4
    b) crypto operations are according iso7816-8
    c) if personalised with our host application the file system contains iso7816-15 compliant structures

  • How can I display comments when using poll

    hi Experts,
I am using wc11.1.1.5 with poll function, I published a poll with some questions and a text box for suggestion feedback, when I check result, I can only get answers for the question but no suggestions can be displayed, how can I get the suggestion displayed?
    Best regards

You have to customize surveyResults.jsff page fragment that is available in "WebCenter Polls and Surveys Service View" library. You can find this library by creating a WebCenter Spaces Task flow Customization project from Jdeveloper. Kindly do let me know if you need more details in this regard.
You have add output or label in surveyResults.jsff and then map its value attribute with RE of suggestion text area might be available in surveyResultBean class.
How to customize task flow, pls see following link:-

  • The 2014 ASUG Data Quality Survey is Live

This is the third ASUG survey from the Data Governance Special Interest Group (SIG)/ Metric Working Group. Like the other two surveys from 2009 and 2011, this survey is polling how companies are managing quality control for their master data, in particular the number of controls and in what areas.
The main difference between this and previous surveys is that we are asking that you respond for a single domain (customer, material, vendor) per survey
(you can take it more than once if you have input for multiple domains). In previous surveys, the majority of respondents were only able to complete the
questions for one domain with a level of confidence. This change will allow for a cleaner analysis.
This survey will be used for benchmarking what companies are measuring, and not the quality of your data. That will be a future topic focused on the popular
    areas of measurement.
Before you take the survey, we recommend you have the list of what your company is measuring and the ASUG Taxonomy Handbook (available on the ASUG Data Governance SIG discussion board as well as at www.DataIntent-LLC.com, or on the LinkedIn discussion group: ASUG Data Quality Controls Taxonomy). Some questions will refer to the number of queries you are measuring by the taxonomy categories.
Please do not get caught up in precision; it is better to have many participants and be close, than for us to lose your input because you are overly precise about the numbers of queries by taxonomy node.
This survey is divided into three main parts: demographics, master data controls poll (customer, material or vendor) and operations; followed by a few
questions about the survey itself including an opt-in opportunity should you like to see the results. In order to qualify to see the composite data, you must
complete 29 of the 43 questions. Everyone qualifies for the summary report, which will be available in the near future on the ASUG website and through
    various presentations.
We expect this survey to take about 20 minutes and assure you all individual responses are confidential.
As long as you return to the survey from the same PC, you may save and return to the same survey (this will help you to collaborate).
If at any time you would like assistance with this survey or the ASUG Taxonomy Handbook, please reply to the discussion thread, or email [email protected] or any member on the steering committee for data quality metrics found at the end of the survey.
We welcome your participation in this survey - please contact any steering committee member with questions or respond to the discussion on the website.
    Thank you,
    ASUG Data Governance Team

Just updating in case anyone else has this problem.
    1) The missing help files are appraently a known issue: our Oracle account manager says they can get a complete copy from somewhere and provide it to us. So if you have this problem, as far as I know you'll need to chase up someone in Oracle at this stage.
    2) I think that linux install is the server component only; the client is windows only; and the help files come with the client: so help files are not likely to be available from some other install, as far as I can work out.

  • HELP with Presto Poll

Ok, I have been trying to add a poll on my site for two days
and the frustration is overcoming me! :-(
I have no, let me repeat again, no experience with SQL
databases, so after some surfing I came across a little PHP program
called Presto Polls. Seemed cool, and apparently works for others.
    I downloaded the prestopoll-4 (
    http://sourceforge.net/docman/display_doc.php?docid=28878&group_id=100446
) and transferred it to my site to a folder called "polls".
I next went to the admin-poll.php and changed the question to
one of my own. I then added 3 answers. So far so good... I then
look online via direct link the poll.php file and it looks fine and
will let me vote. No problem.
I then inserted an iform into my webpage. (Using Dreamweaver
CS3 on a Mac) I link the iform to the poll.php file in my poll
folder. Upload the page and it doesn't work. It shows the iform box
    but nothing inside .
Does anyone know what have I missed, or better yet some other
easy way to create a poll while not having to be a programmer?
Any advice or help is greatly appreciated.

You can always make this suggestion to the DW team. For one,
    though, I
wouldn't really support devoting development funds to such a
    specific
    purpose.
