Syncing Stops before all songs are added

When I sync my iPod using iTunes 8.0, for some reason the syncing process stops and ejects my iPod before my entire library is added. Can someone help me with this? I have to sync it about 10 times before 90% of my songs are added but even then I don't get them all.

With what you have already done, it seems most likely to be a iTunes issue. You might want to go through a reinstall of iTunes. Here are directions to do that:

JFrame is showed before all components are added

In my project all JFrames are undecorated (setUndecorated(true)) and many graphical components are added to the JPanel.
But, before all components and colors are added to a new JFrame, the user can see for ~1/2 seconds
the Frame as gray,undecorated.
How can it be fixed? I set the (J)Frame visible (setVisible(true)) after all components are added to the JPanel of the Frame.

Just before the you set the from to visible use pack() to arrange the frame's contents.
pack();

You should erase all contents and setting before giving your iphone away.

The iphone is not storage/backup device.
The sync is one way - computer to iphone.
The only exception is itunes purchases. File>Devices>Transfer Purchases
You should copy everything from your old computer, or your backup copy of your old computer, to your new one.

The content that you are viewing on your Nano via iTunes is grayed out since your iPod is set up for automatic syncing with your iTunes library. If you want to be able to manually manage your contents (which is sounds like you are trying to do), you must enable the Manually manage music option from under your iPod's Summary tab in iTunes.

Home sharing iMac and MacBook Pro: not all songs are playable

I set up Home Sharing between my iMac and MacBook Pro so that I could stream the music that's on the iMac to the MacBook Pro. On the MBP there are no songs, all of them are in Apple Lossless format on my iMac. I first tried to use "‘share my library on my local network" but because I wanted the play count to go up as well I chose for "Home Sharing". Setting up was simple. After all preferences were adjusted, I opened iTunes on the MBP and it immediately found the shared iMac library. There's now only one problem: not all songs are playable. Some don't even start. How is this possible and what do I need to do to resolve this?
FYI: the iMac is connected via ethernet to my cable modem which sends a wireless Wi-Fi signal to the MBP. Signal quality is excellent.
Also, is it possible that playcount is only available with Home Sharing and not with "share my library on my local network"?

It very well could be the antivirus app, most are intrusive and debilitate rather than enhance performance and should be removed using the developers instructions. You haven't really told us anything useful such as any settting you may have changed. However if you began working backwards resetting any changes and uninstalling the apps added since the performance issue started then you probably will find your issue.

It would be nice if you told others the steps you've tried and/or how you used to have your setup.
Anyway have you tried tapping MORE this will then bring you to
the selection-list of Audiobooks, Genres, Compilations & Composers.
Selecting Genres gives you a list of all your music split into genres which was set within the Music downloaded via iTunes or uploaded from CD or which you may have set yourself.
Then you just select the Genre you want:
If certent songs are not correctly gategorised you may need to go into iTunes and reselect via Get-info
>Info>Genre and change it there. That way you should end up with all songs of Jazz or other in 1 place.

All songs are playing fast

I just upload all my library in my ipod and when I want to play, all songs are just skipped (played but very fast). I cannot hear anything as IPod will just jump to the next song imediately.
How can I solve this matter ?

Well at the moment I don't have definitive answer for you, (maybe someone else has) but I've noticed that some of my AAC files are at 130kbps, which tells us that iTunes and the iPod can handle that bit rate.
If you have access to the original source of the music (I.E. the CD) then I would suggest re-importing it into iTunes at a different bit rate. On the other hand, if you have downloaded an MP3 (legally, of course) from a musician's web site, there's probably not much that you can do about it.
Basically though, it sounds (from your clip that I listened to) that the file is corrupt or simply incompatible with an iPod.

Network stops before network shares are unmounted (fstab)

I use fstab to set up my network shares. In my rc.conf I have "network" then "netfs". When shutting down, the network is stopped before the shares are unmounted so the system never shuts down; it just hangs trying to unmount them.
Is there another/better way to specify network shares or a fix for this issue?

I think my solution is better for mobile computers that are not always connecting to the same network: using networkmanager you can make a 'dispatcher'-script that only loads after connecting to a specified network. There are examples on the wiki.
This way, my laptop is not trying to connect to my home NFS-shares when I connect to my parents' network, which could be a security risk.

I put iPod on "songs, shuffle" but the shuffle isn't random! Same artist repeats often, same songs repeat before other songs are played. With over 2000 songs on the iPod, I shouldn't be getting repeats very often. Anybody else?

Shuffle is not perfect. What you are experiencing is normal.

Depending upon what country that you are in (music can't be re-downloaded in all countries) then try deleting that track from your iTunes library (if it's still in there then iTunes won't let you re-download it) and redownload it via the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes : re-downloading.
If you aren't in a country where you can re-download music or if it re-downloads in the same state then try the 'report a problem' link from your purchase history : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via Store > View My Account and you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it ; click on that and you should see a list of your purchases ; find that song and use the 'Report a Problem' link.
