Syntax error in validation check "DHVALID", step "001"

I have booked invoice for $ 25,000.00, now i want to make this payment via t-code F-53. At that time system giving error i.e. "Syntax error in validation check "DHVALID", step 001*"
Request to you please tell me what are the steps to resolve this issue.

Check validations in ob28. It seems there are some validations, for which paramters are set for accounts or transaction code.

Xi 3.1 SP3 fp3.2 : Syntax error when validating row restriction

we currently migrating from Xi R2 to Xi 3.1 sp3 fp 3.2
The database is sql server 2005
I have a universe with a row restriction.
Here is the syntax :
ISNULL(COMMERCIAUXREF_ACC.Ptf_TopComPriv,1)=1
COMMERCIAUXREF_ACC is an alias to the table dbo.VW_COMMERCIAUXREF_ACC
In XiR2, when i create the restriction, i check the syntax --> OK
So I :
- import the universe on Xi 3.1 SP3 fp3.2
- open the universe with designer
- open the restriction
- check the restriction --> Syntax error
I've made no change between the original universe on Xi R2 and the one on Xi 3.1 sp3
I've errors in designer log file
I've made 2 tests :
- The first one with oledb connector (changes made in oledb.sbo file)
Error log :
DBD:[Microsoft OLE DB Provider for SQL Server] : Invalid object name 'COMMERCIAUXREF_ACC'.

I solved the problem.
The cause would be: Multiple Designer versions installed on the client machine.
You should uninstall all the existing multiple versions(Ex: XI Release2, XI3.0, XI3.1) of Business Objects Designer.
Re-install the latest upgraded version of designer in use, as that on server machine.

Now, the really odd thing is if I just take the query text
out of the CFQUERY tags and use CFOUTPUT instead (to see in my
browser what query is getting executed) I get a query that I can
paste into Enterprise Mgr and runs fine.
I can even paste the resulting text into my code in a CFQUERY
and CF will run it fine.
In other words, the dynamic version query gives me an error,
but if I just output the SQL statement, copy-and-paste that into
the CFQUERY that's erroring out (replacing what's there) to run as
a static query, it works fine (sample of static query below).
The error I get when I try to do it dynamically is "Error

As I said the default behavior is to escape the quotes in
your variables
as data. So the default output of your SQL statement, before
preserveSingleQuotes() would be like this.
HAVING formNum = ''12345'' OR formNum = ''54321''
As you can see that is not the desired results in your case.
In your
case you have the proper number of single quotes in your
string and you
do not want any added. You want to preserve them so to say.
Thus
adding preserveSingleQuotes() around your whereClase
variable, i.e.
preserveSingleQuotes(whereClause) says do not add any quotes,
keep them
all single.

Oes11sp2 yast online updates - validation check failed

Did all online updates September 29th for my sles11sp3 oes11sp2 servers and restarted servers. Went to check today and I'm getting a validation check failed error.
Validation check failed
File repomd.xml from repository sles11-sp3-updates.... is signed but the integrity check failed.

I'm getting the same thing on multiple servers, will try again later!

The description of step 001 cannot be read

I have an error for all of my jobs in BW test sytem after live transport to test. The error is "The discription of step 001 cannot be read", how can I solve this issue? Do you know the way to solve it?

seems data in the TBTCPV view was corrupted .. try to re-define the failing jobs thru SM36 or SM37 ..
for RDDIMPDP -- in SE38--> Run RDDNEWPP program to re-define the Job.

Syntax Error while running step 34 (35) after unicode conversion

We are converting our test system to Unicode to find out how to do it
in our production system. We are at step 34/35 (Starting RFC job's) in
the database installation so we are almost done but we have encounted a
problem that we can't find a solution to. The error log in Sapinst give this
information:

I have found a error "Error Code :-5002 Error Message :Enter valid currency , '51100000-01-001-01'" while adding the DELIVERY document.
I have made a customer and assign then "EURO" currency and add delivery document then it prompts error.
Could anyone solve this problem. is there any setting which i am missing..??

Syntax error during transport on valid transfer routines

Dear All,
We have some routines in a tranfer structure that are valid and working just fine in DEV. But when we transport them to QA we get the following error message :-

If we remove all the routines the activation works just fine even though our routines are valid and working just fine in DEV.
Can anyone explain this as this is becoming quite urgent now ?

I work with Craig. In response to your question, what he means is that all objects independantly have been transported ok, apart from the transfer rules. If you look at the table RSTSRULES you will see a column called CONVROUT_L.
In our Dev system this field contains the BW generated rule code. Eg.
45GEGC5I66GA9Z5G4KFDDRIK4 against the Transfer structure. When the after import process runs, it uses the contents of this table together with the contents of the RSAABAP table which contains the code and creates the transfer rule program.
In RSAABAP we have the following code for CODEID '45GEGC5I66GA9Z5G4KFDDRIK4'
DATA: l_s_errorlog TYPE rssm_s_errorlog_int.
CHECK NOT &TS&-opened_date IS INITIAL.
IF &TS&-opened_date < '19000101'.

In our QA system the column is blank because of the wierd Syntax problem when generating the program, therefore the transfer rules dont get activated.
As you can see there is no problem with the ABAP.

I am receiving an syntax error:
"CS" is not a valid comparison operator.
Can I use this way or not ?
I need this because ZUONR is of 16 characters and it contains PO number(10) and PO item(6) combined.
So on the selection screen if user specifies PO number range, then he should be able to get the ones that are in match.
Any other solutions are welcome.

You cant use comparision operetor in select where condition.
And in your case best suggestion.....

***zuonr cs p_ebeln and<----comment out
budat in p_budat and

Later loop the internal table to process on the condition with ...check ts_bsis-zuonr(10) in p_ebeln.
Like this you can make the condition.

We are trying to check the extractor 2LIS_11_VAHDR in RSA3 , when we press the extraction button , we are getting following error :-

Though you have not done the enhancement of the given Data source. Still System first check for CMOD .
Make sure that all the enhancements are working very much fine.
Or just check for syntex error in se 38 for Program ZXRSAU01.
If there are any please correct it or comment it, then your data source will work very much fine.

Found a note explaining the significance of these errors.
It says:
"NZE-28862: SSL connection failed
Cause: This error occurred because the peer closed the connection.
Action: Enable Oracle Net tracing on both sides and examine the trace output. Contact Oracle Customer support with the trace output."

No syntax error on syntax check, but syntax error on activation

Hi all,
I have a confusing problem.
I want to default some values on item level of purchase order (ME21N). I added a module call in flow logic of screen 1313 of program SAPLMEGUI. The module itself I added to include LMEVIEWSF01. Here I default some fields of structure MEPO1313. This structure is defined in TOP-include using TABLES.
Before modification I debugged the transaction and found out, that structure MEPO1313 is accessible during PBO. Changes in debugger are shown as expected on screen.
Now, syntax check on LMEVIEWSF01 and even on SAPLMEGUI returns no error. But on activation I get syntax error saying MEPO1313 is not know ??
So, structure MEPO1313 is accessible in debugger, no syntax error on syntax-check, but syntax error on activation ?
What is going on ??

Run time analysis transaction SE30 :This transaction gives all the analysis of an ABAP program with respect to the database and the non-database processing.
SQL Trace transaction ST05: The trace list has many lines that are not related to the SELECT statement in the ABAP program. This is because the execution of any ABAP program requires additional administrative SQL calls. To restrict the list output, use the filter introducing the trace list.
The trace list contains different SQL statements simultaneously related to the one SELECT statement in the ABAP program. This is because the R/3 Database Interface - a sophisticated component of the R/3 Application Server - maps every Open SQL statement to one or a series of physical database calls and brings it to execution. This mapping, crucial to R/3s performance, depends on the particular call and database system. For example, the SELECT-ENDSELECT loop on a particular database table of the ABAP program would be mapped to a sequence PREPARE-OPEN-FETCH of physical calls in an Oracle environment.
The WHERE clause in the trace list's SQL statement is different from the WHERE clause in the ABAP statement. This is because in an R/3 system, a client is a self-contained unit with separate master records and its own set of table data (in commercial, organizational, and technical terms). With ABAP, every Open SQL statement automatically executes within the correct client environment. For this reason, a condition with the actual client code is added to every WHERE clause if a client field is a component of the searched table.
To see a statement's execution plan, just position the cursor on the PREPARE statement and choose Explain SQL. A detailed explanation of the execution plan depends on the database system in use.
Extended Program Check
This can be called in through transaction SE38 or through transaction SLIN. This indicates possible problems that may cause performance problems.
Code Inspector (SCI)
You can call the Code Inspector from the ABAP Editor (SE38), the Function Builder (SE37), the Class Builder (SE24), or as a separate transaction (SCI).
The Code Inspector indicates possible problems. However, note that, especially with performance issues: There is no rule without exception. If a program passes an inspection, it does not necessarily mean that this program will have no performance problems.

I have two requirements which are a s follows :
1 ) Check the syntax error of customize SAP Objects in existing landscape except using the Tools which are already given by SAP( Example : Code Inspector , Extended Syntax Check etc.). I have to create a program to fulfill this requirement.
2 ) In case of SAP Upgrade is it possible to know the syntax error in advance that the existing source code will not work in the upgrade version?

For the code inspector, the syntax check and the extended syntax check, you can define a set of objects to be teste thru SCI:
Go to SCI
In the block 'Object Set', you can create a set. For ths, you have to give it a name, select with the icon left of the textbox if this is a global (for all users) or a local set and click the create Icon.
in the next field, you can define which objects ... are part of the object set.
When using SCII to execute the code inspector, you can specify this set instead of a transport(s) or programming objects.
To run only the syntax check and or the extend syntax check, you can specify a check variant in SCI (third screen block) which contains only those tests or you can in SCII uncheck all tests except those 2.
