Table event 'After saving' for date delimition

I have created a custom table which has stat date and end date. Whenever a new record is created and saved,
The default value for new records must be 12/31/9999. When user creates a next record, the existing record must be automatically. delimited to BEGDA minus one.
I have implemented the code in 'After Saving' event where the delimition happens correctly. But once i save and click on exit button, again it's asking to save the record. if i save the delimited records are not updated.
Please provide some solution on this.

Generate time dep. is disabled when i checked the table maintanance for the table.

CS4: get file name after saving for web

Hello,
I am saving a file via "save for web" with a specific file name in a specific folder maybe with a specific resolution (width x height) entered directy within this dialog window.
Is it possible to get this path and the optionally changed resolution via Adobe script (after saving the file; or starting the script just before "save for web")?

I don't see anyway to get the user's options from the SaveForWeb dialog. The descriptors for both charIDToTypeID( "Expr" ) and charIDToTypeID( "Mn " ) are empty.
But you can use the DOM to sfw. Below is a function to save jpg using sfw.

Add exif-data while / after saving for web?

I use "save for web" quite often. However; i would like to add some exif-data to the picture after it is saved. Is there any way to do this with JavaScripting in Photoshop (CS3) ?

There are limits to the kind of exif data that you can alter in an image. Most
of it can't be touched. You need to use an external app like Bridge or exiftool:

Clearing the FORM after SAVING the data

Question 1:
I've got a form that is built based on a table. When I enter the data and click on the save button, the FORM doesn't clear for me to enter the data for the next record. Where and how can I set up a process so that the form clears after the data is saved?
Quesstion 2:
I've got a form that is built based on a table. The table has 10 fields where one of the fields is a FK. I want all 10 fields to be on the form. I want the FK to be a select list where the display value is a description and a return value is an ID. I have picked the correct fields for display value and return value. However, when the data is saved, the return value is not stored in the table field. The field is bank. Any idea why this is happening?

The simplest way to clear the items for a page is to add the page number in to a Branch that is triggered by your Create/Save button - check your branches to see which one is linked to this button and enter the page number in the Clear Cache setting. If you created the form using a wizard, you should, however, already have a "reset page" page process that does this for you - if you haven't got this, then either update the branch or create a new "Session State" process that clears the cache.
For your second question, the data will be saved provided the page item is correctly linked to the table's field and you have "Process Row of tablename" set up correctly. If you have a "Process Row..." process, check the required settings in the "Source: Automatic Row Processing (DML)" section as these identify the table and its Primary Key. If you don't have one, you can create a new "Data Manipulation" page process to do this. In the page item, check that you have "Source Used" set to "Always, replacing any existing value in session state", "Source Type" set to "Database Column" and "Source Value or Expression" set to the table field's name.
One thing to check as well is, if you already have a "reset page" process, make sure it is after all other processes - change the sequence number if necessary.

Why is same file different sizes after saving for web?

I have files that I save in PSCS3, under, "Save for Web & Devices" and I indicate under "optimize to file size" that they should be no larger than 60K. After item is saved and I go to "Get info", it says the file is 60K. Yet when I open the file in PS and go to Image Size, it says 467K. Why the discrepancy? Thanks for your feedback!

One is the compressed file size on disk (60K). The other is the uncompressed image size (369 pixels x 432 pixels x 8 bits per channel x 3 channels / 8 bits per byte / 1024, since K really is 1024, not 1000).

Query on a transaction table breaks after running for sometime - Oracle 11g

I'm running the below query to pull the sum of amount on trans table (which has 12 years of data partitioned yearly) whose last transaction date is 19-MAY-2013. The calendardatekey column is the one which is used in place of transaction date (each day has a unique calendardatekey). The query runs for couple of hours and breaks. When I contacted DBA they told that its trying to do a full table scan and pulling huge amount of data and doing a kind of sort and then breaks. Could someone please help if there is a better approach? If it works out for one day I will have to perform this for few more days.
Oracle version - 11g

columns customerkey, programid and amount - are indexed.
card table :
column customerkey, status are indexed.

"and breaks" is totally devoid of actionable information. Surely you got an actual error message (ora-nnnnn) that you could share with us?
Sounds like your DBA is trying to avoid providing any assistance .....

Thumbnail images corrupt after saving for web

I am working with CS2.
Whenever I choose "Save For Web," the thumbnail preview on the desktop doesn't show the full image. Half of it is grey. This only happens when I choose save for web. Sometimes if I single-click the thumbnail, the entire image appears. But most of the time, it stays half grey. I'd appreciate any help on this, since it's been going on for a year now, and re-installing didn't help.

Save For Web generates an icon of the image on both my home Mac and work Mac. I've changed the preferences in PS to "Never Save" Image Previews. That has done nothing. So maybe it is an OS glitch, but I can't find anything to change. And again, this only happens when I choose Save for Web.

I have created a Custom tab at header level in ML81N. In this tab the user enters the data which is to be stored in Ztables once the entry sheet is successfully saved. I am searching for BADI or user exits for saving the data. Can anyone tell me user exit or BADI which is triggered after saving the data?

Photoshop PNGs saved for web in CS3 v.10 still are not transparent in iWeb 08 2.0.4

I have read the topics and tried the tricks and still have black backgrounds on my photoshop graphics. After saving for web & devides as png8 with transparency I have a checkerboard pattern behind my graphic. I am using the magic wand tool, selecting the emptiness/checkerboard behind, then choosing to select the inverse, the ctrl c, then ctrl v in iWeb

When you use the Save For Web or Devices be sure to click on black in the pallet and then on the transparent "button" just below the pallet before saving as a png file.

Remain to current screen in PA30 after saved infotype changes.

I have a created a custom infotype 9xxx and now I have a requirement that user are allowed to saved changes on infotype 9xxx thru PA30 and it has to remain on infotype 9xxx screen instead of jumping out from PA30 after saved. Is this possible?

Short dump while saving data after selecting '#' for variable in WI

We have a selection variable in our webinterface on company code.After selecting '#',i am entering data and while saving it goes to dump.
but client wants to have an error message displayed after saving data instead of runtime error (dump).so that user can select required company code.
Error analysis is:
A RAISE statement in the program "SAPLRSDRI" raised the exception
condition "ILLEGAL_INPUT".
Since the exception was not intercepted by a superior program
in the hierarchy, processing was terminated.
Short description of exception condition:
For detailed documentation of the exception condition, use
Transaction SE37 (Function Library). You can take the called
function module from the display of active calls.

Hello Murali,
What you would need to do is to change the attributes of the variable.
1. In BPS0, you can make it as a mandatory entry.
2. In the web layout, you can create a variable for Company code and force the user to choose a value from a dropdown list.
The specific approach would depend on how the layout is being called and how it has been setup.
