Hi,
Better way i`ll tell you how to find the database tables.
Goto the transaction CV03.
Get the program name.
SYSTEM ---> STATUS ---> PROGRAM(GUI)
The program name for this transaction SAPLCV00.
Copy this program name.
Goto SE38. Open this program.
Get the package name.
GOTO ---> ATTRIBUTES ---> PACKAGE
The package for this program is CV.
Copy the package name.
Goto to SE80 or Click on Display Object List(CtrlShiftF5) button which is on the toolbar.
Select package and open the package name.
You will get the list of business engeneering, dict.objs, class library, programs etc.
Goto Dict.objects ---> Database tables.
All the tables related to this transaction are given here.
Use these steps to find the tables, programs, function grps etc
whenever required.

Hi,
As you saying you are new to CRM. If you are a Technical then try to just go through the report "CRM_ORDER_READ". In this report find the select statement and see the tables. Here in this report most of the important tables regarding CRM are available.

Finding tables used by transaction CM29

Hi guys,
I have to create a report with information from transaction CM29 (Planning table SAPPI_G001).
The report must list all orders scheduled for a resource (orders in the 'Resources' area) in a period. My problem is to find the tables where that transaction saves the information. I have used ST05, looked for functions and tried debugging, with no success, so through tables I cannot know when the order is in the 'Resources' area or when it is in the 'Pool' area.
Has anybody worked with it?
I would appreciate any help.

here different ids like dimid and sid also generated
now my question is
1. which are the different table where the record and ids are stored?
2. how and when the dimid and sid are generated?
3. can we see the dim id and sid?if we can then where?
4. this ids are stored in which tables?

Hi Deepa,
Whenever you want to analyze the star schema of a particular cube, execute LISTSCHEMA transaction in your system. Once you execute this transaction you will see the list view of star schema and you will get to know all the underlying tables in which cube stores the data and reads data.
which are the different table where the record and ids are stored?
In case of infocube mainly Fact table and Dimension tables are used to store the transaction specific data.
2. how and when the dimid and sid are generated?
In the infocube design you can see the various dimensions and underlying characteristics in each dimension. During data loading one DIMID is created for each unique combination of all the characteristic values. Dimension table stores the SID's of each characteristic. For e.g. Your dimension consists of Material and customer then it will have different DIMID's as follows,
DIMID          MATERIAL          CUSTOMER
1                  MAT1                  CUST1
2                  MAT1                  CUST2
3                   MAT2                 CUST1                 and so on.... In reality you will see SID's in DIM table.
3. can we see the dim id and sid?if we can then where?
You will have to check data in SID and DIM tables, use LISTSCHEMA transaction to get the table names.
4. this ids are stored in which tables?

you can find all those details in transaction variant,
go with SHD0 ( numerical 0) and then enter your transaction code and enter transaction variant name and then select that
Select the program SAPMV45A and go CHANGE WITH PROCESSING (F6),
there you can find the list of fields and field names.

Hi,
After going into any transaction press F1 where you usually enter the value and then you get performance assistant in that performance assistant press the tab technical information......
it will give you the name of the table and also the fieldname of that particular field.
for example :-
In transaction "s_alr_87013558" :-
table field name
For Database prof :- TCNT PROF_DB

once you get the list of fileds you can easily make outthat field is used or not.
or if you want to find in the source code, after getting the programs, read the source code to itab and use search command to find the table-field.
you can also take the reference program RSRSCAN1.
Both the ways you can do where used list.

Final Internal Table used in MIGO Transaction

Hi Experts,
I need to know the final internal table used in the MIGO transaction. Why I want to know this is, I need all the records which are there in the table control (GODYNPRO) of the MIGO transaction. I have used the BADI BADI MB_MIGO_BADI to read the values. But since it is a table control the values are getting changed when the user scrolls down the table control. How can I get all the values shown in this table control. Is there any global internal table in the SAPLMIGO program?

Check the BADI MB_MIGO_BADI the example class CL_EXM_IM_MB_MIGO_BADI
In attributes tab variable GT_EXTDATA contains all migo positions.
Read the internal table to check items.
in this method the internal table is filled.
Therefore define your internal table in the class attributes.

u told u alredy create table and corresponding view. Now u can follw below this process.........
go to se11.
go to menu Utilities ->table maint. generator.
after that u will go to menu -> Environment -> maintence Object -> Generate.
then u select category -> CUSY
Transport -> 2 automatic transport
Adjustment-> automatically adjustment
then save it and create T. code .
I think your problem will be solve.

QALS table update while using MFBF transaction

Hi ,
I added new field with Z to QALS table and i want to fill this field when user use MFBF transaction while pushed save button.But i need mat. document number (mblnr) when i find value of new field which i added.I found EXIT_SAPLQPL1_002 exit which i can change value of QALS table but when i enter into this exit mblnr filed is coming empty.I also tried to find a badi and found INSPECTIONLOT_UPDATE badi's CREATE_BEFORE_UPDATE method.Here i have all values of QALS.But when i change value of new field after this method it becomes empty again.Is there any way to fill this field from mfbf transaction using mblnr?

You make use of Wait statement within the BAPI. let the system wait for 2 milliseconds.
use wait = 2. then try doing the same. I think your error would be resolved.
