TableView - alterable column entries (edit)

Hello,
I have the following TableView:
< code>
  <htmlb:tableView id     ="decisiontab"
                   visibleRowCount = "15"
                   headerText      = "Decision View"
                   headerVisible   = "true"
                   design          = "alternating"
                   fillUpEmptyRows = "true"
                   onHeaderClick   = "MyEventHeaderClick"
                   onRowSelection  = "MyEventRowSelection"
                   keyColumn       = "zmoppid"
                   table  = "<%= zomopporttab %>"
                   iterator  = "<%= iterator %>"
                   selectionMode = "MULTILINEEDIT" >
</htmlb:tableView>
      <%-- Drucktasten --%>
     <htmlb:button id      = "save"
                    text    = "<b>Save</b>"
                    encode  = "FALSE"
                    onClick = "myButtonSave" />
< /code>
The iterator produce a TableView underit the following two columns:
GET_COLUMN_DEFINITION:
< code>
append initial line to p_column_definitions assigning <def>.
<def>-columnname = 'ZMDECIFLAG'.
<def>-title      = 'Decision'.
<def>-edit       = 'X'.
<def>-HORIZONTALALIGNMENT = 'center'.
append initial line to p_column_definitions assigning <def>.
<def>-columnname = 'DECI_IMAGE'.
<def>-title      = 'Image'.
< /code>
RENDER_CELL_START:
< code>
case P_COLUMN_KEY.
when 'ZMDECIFLAG'.
    if M_ROW_REF->ZMDECIFLAG is initial.
        P_REPLACEMENT_BEE = CL_HTMLB_CHECKBOX=>FACTORY( ID = P_CELL_ID
                                                    CHECKED = 'FALSE' ).
    else.
        P_REPLACEMENT_BEE = CL_HTMLB_CHECKBOX=>FACTORY(
        ID = P_CELL_ID   CHECKED = 'TRUE' ).
    endif.
when 'DECI_IMAGE'.
    data: ICON type STRING.
    if M_ROW_REF->ZMDECIFLAG is initial.
        ICON = CL_BSP_MIMES=>SAP_ICON( ID = 'ICON_LED_RED' ).
    else.
        ICON = CL_BSP_MIMES=>SAP_ICON( ID = 'ICON_LED_GREEN' ).
    endif.
      P_REPLACEMENT_BEE = CL_HTMLB_IMAGE=>FACTORY( ID = P_CELL_ID
                                                     SRC = ICON ).
endcase.
< /code>
I would like to reach the following:
The user changes the condition of the check box (marked/ not marked) in several lines and presses then the save button. Without selecting the lines before!
1.
Is a Tableview with “multieditselect” correct?
And how can I query the Event?
2. (beautiful would be also)
How can I reach it that when changing the condition of the checkbox (marked/unmarked) also the Icon changes.
Does anybody know about this problem.
Thanks for any advice or path for more information.
Kind Regards
Petra

So Petra I guess a SP upgrade is in order.
You could also try this code but I think you'll have the same problem due to the SP level.

  • Custom ItemRenderer makes the column non editable

    Hi Folks,
    I have a DataGrid which s editable, I've created a custom ItemRenderer to deal with special format needed for Date variables, for that I extended the mx:Text class in order to get access to the listData.dataField variable.
    The problem is that this makes the column non-editable, the other column in the table are editabe.
    When I used a VBox container the column was editable however I didn't get access to the listData, which I need for the dataField variable.
    Any help will be appreciated.

  • NEED ALTER TABLE ALTER COLUMN FOR DATE FORMAT

    Need something like this :
    ALTER TABLE ABC
    ALTER COLUMN DATE1 AS (DD/MM/YYYY)
    need to appear in this format (29/03/2014) in the table.
    also needs to be recorded in DB in that format.

    changed system date format, works. Thanks!
    You should always store values as dates itself in date/datetime related field in SQLServer
    The formatting can very easily be done in your front end (presentation layer) using format function
    Even in T-SQL you can use CONVERT or FORMAT functions to get the date values in the format you want

    I don't follow you? Anyway, Olaf Helper's answer was the solution.
    SQL Server has a data type called DATETIME. To correctly query dates, it is easier to use this as it allows the SQL engine to do all the calculations for you, also the canonical format for dates in any database language is YYYY-MM-DD, this ensures correctly
    tiered dates that are stored in the right order. The way you store data and the way you display it should be kept as two seperate entities. This is the ISO standard and has been thoroughly investigated ...alot to say the least. This is where the term "front-end"
    and "back-end" developers come from, and also the distinction between server-side and client-side scripting.
    To cut a long story short, take the advice of the multiple professionals here, and follow standards otherwise you'll find yourself stuck, or worse, your legacy code will make someone tear their hair out.

    Your question title & the message you ve posted are contradictory to each other.
    Normally a Multicolumn Listbox is a non-editable one, in that while you run you wont get the labeling tool to type some text.
    I think you can instead use a Table to achieve your purpose. Also see the below link.

  • TableView Clickable Column

    Hi,
    I have a TableView with 4 columns. Column 1 is clickable, when I move the mouse over this column the hand shows up, and on clicking the column it calls the appropriate event associated.
    I would like to make the values in this column show up as a hyperlink, indicating the column to be Clickable.
    When I do <a href=''> Value </a>, in my cell renderer. The resulting Tableview Clickable column shows up as a hyperlink.
    When I click on this hyperlink, it gives me a runtime error.
    Is it possible to click the hyperlink, to go to the appropriate event associated to the  column.
    Any advice would be appreciated.
    Thank you.

       this is how you create a htmlb link object.
               Link test = new Link("test");
           test.addText("prakash");
           test.setOnClick("onClick");

  • 1.5PROD/EA3/EA2 - Issues removing indexed column through Edit Table dialog

    The Edit Table dialog does not cope well with removing a column which is used in indexes.
    If you simply remove the column and hit OK, you get a Validation Failed error saying that "Column <column> is not a column of table <table>". Given that you are trying to remove the column, this is confusing.
    Most times, you can navigate to the indexes but the column no longer shows in the index which contained (and all other columns in the index appear to be removed as well). At least you can remove the index and then accept the change. However, some times (couldn't reproduce consistently), the index didn't display properly (no name displayed) and I couldn't leave the record without entering a dummy name before removing it.
    Shouldn't the behaviour be equivalent to the "corresponding" alter table drop column command which automatically drops the indexes referring to the dropped column? I know that it isn't always nice to "silently" remove an index or indexes, but couldn't we display a dialog that indicates which indexes we are going to drop to warn the user?
    theFurryOne

    No response to this, but it is still a problem in EA3.
    I assume it is not intended that you cannot drop an indexed column through the Edit Table dialog, without having to first drop the index - it is certainly not required in direct SQL and the Drop Column via the Table context menu works as well (as that simply generates the SQL).

  • TableView nested columns binding with nested objects

    Let's suppose i have an object like this
    class Person {
        SimpleStringProperty name;
        SimpleStringProperty surname;
        SimpleObjectProperty<Address> address;
    class Address {
        SimpleStringProperty client;
        SimpleStringProperty address;
        SimpleIntegerProperty number;
    }is there a way to bind a TableView<Person> in order to have a column and nested column for the object Address ?
    /* First name column */
    TableColumn firstNameCol = new TableColumn("First Name");
    firstNameCol.setCellValueFactory(new PropertyValueFactory<Person, String>("name"));
    /* Last name column */
    TableColumn lastNameCol = new TableColumn("Last Name");
    lastNameCol.setCellValueFactory(new PropertyValueFactory<Person, String>("surname"));
    /* Address main column */
    TableColumn addressCol = new TableColumn("Address Informations");
    addressCol.setCellValueFactory(new PropertyValueFactory<Person, Address>("address"));
    /* Client nestedcolumn */
    TableColumn clientCol = new TableColumn("Client");
    clientCol.setCellValueFactory(new PropertyValueFactory<Address, String>("client"));
    /* Address nested column */
    TableColumn addrCol = new TableColumn("Address");
    addrCol .setCellValueFactory(new PropertyValueFactory<Address, String>("address"));
    /* Number nested column */
    TableColumn numberCol = new TableColumn("Number");
    numberCol .setCellValueFactory(new PropertyValueFactory<Address, Integer>("number"));
    addressCol.getColumns().addAll(clientCol, addrCol , numberCol );
    getColumns().addAll(firstNameCol, lastNameCol, addressCol);of course i tried this and doesn't work..

    Hey,
    Looks a good question!
    Welh, even if I didn't try.. I suppose you could look in this direction:
    I would try to pass the hole object 'Address' to the different TableColumns 'client', 'address' and 'number'.
    clientCol.setCellValueFactory(new PropertyValueFactory<Person, Address>("address"));
    addrCol.setCellValueFactory(new PropertyValueFactory<Person, Address>("address"));
    numberCol.setCellValueFactory(new PropertyValueFactory<Person, Address>("address"));Then create your own CellFactories for every TableColumn.
    Link it this way.
    clientCol.setCellFactory(myCustomCellFactory);Your CellFactory should look like this:
    public class myCustomCellFactory extends TableCell<Object, Address> {
        //constructor
        public myCustomCellFactory() {
        //methods
        @Override
        public void startEdit() {
        @Override
        public void updateItem(Address oAddress, boolean empty) {
            super.updateItem(item, empty);
            if (!isEmpty()) {
                    setText(oAddress.getClient());
    }I'm not sure this example works, I've coded it here..
    Hope it helps..

  • ALV: columns in read-only mode look like editable columns in edit mode

    Hi,
    My application contains an ALV table which should be toggled between display and edit mode like the rest of the fields.
    The evident solution was to use
    if_salv_wd_table_settings~set_read_only( abap_true or abap_false)
    However, unlike the rest of the fields, when the application changes into display mode and the fields get grey like in any SAP application, the columns in the table which were editable remain white, and those which were not editable and thus grey, get now white, too, instead of the other way round. So it will look to the normal user, as if now all columns would be editable!
    Of course, he would realize that they are not when he tries to edit them, but this is irritating.
    See following link with screenshots (only active for 3 weeks from now on):
    [Link to my webmail space/SDN: .|https://businesswebmail.telekom.at/filestorage/MzYxMTk1OTMx/]
    I have looked
    through my books ("Einstieg in Web Dynpro for ABAP", "Praxisbuch Webdynpro for ABAP", ...)
    through the wiki for Webdynpro for ABAP here in SDN as well as through this forum (by searching with "ALV edit")
    through the notes in BC-WD-CMP-ALV
    but could not find any solution. Most tables in those PDF articles found here in the WD4A wiki also show white cells although they are probabliy in read-only mode (e.g. the imitation of the SE16N browser article).
    The attributes to the LO_CELL_EDITOR for both Inputfields and textview columns contain exactly the same values when toggling between display and edit mode (read-only in table settings), so also no chance to change here anything.
    Also changing the cell design is not a solution as there is no design that looks like grey for not editable according to WDUI_TABLE_CELL_DESIGN  ([SAP Help - WDUI_TABLE_CELL_DESIGN|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw2004s/helpdata/en/56/5e9041d3c72e7be10000000a1550b0/frameset.htm].
    I do not know if I have made an error, as this is my 3rd Web Dynpro (after the first 2 of the introduction book), or SAP is really inconsistent in User interface between "normal" fields and ALV table fields.
    Can you please help me?
    Thanks in advance,
    Erlend

    Hi,
    In my application aslo, i have 30 columns out of which 10 are input fields. But, i'm showing the table as ABAP_TRUE incase of Non-editable otherwise to abap_false. Now i'm getting everything as in WHITE cells.
    Do you want to show it is Grey mode with Non-editable feature. Is that so.
    How many columns are there which has Input fields.
    Get the column references.
    Now, based on the mode of display create the object as Input or Textview field.
    For that column -
    If mode eq 'D'.
    Create an object for Textview(cl_salv_wd_uie_text_view)
    else.
    Create an Object for Inputfield(cl_salv_wd_uie_input_field)
    endif.
    The Append row is a standard button or custom one on ALV toolbar.
    Do you want to hide the toolbar or just disable these buttons.
    If you want to hide the toolbar then refer my wiki -
    http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/WDABAP/NullreferenceforUPDATETOOLBARerrorsofALVinthewebdynpro+ABAP

  • Appt entry/edit question:  want tips for ease of use

    Hi all, I use iCal on my iMac and iPhone, and have run across these issues, and wondered if there is a trick or tip I am missing.
    Adding an appointment on the desktop:
    When the event edit screen pops up, I try tabbing through each field to enter the relevant data. This entire window seems to be difficult to navigate, in that I would expect to tab through every field. After "location", the tab jumps to either the minutes or the AM/PM field. I then have to back tab to where I need to be. Entering the times can be a trick. I try to enter a 12:30 pm appointment, and in the hour field I type a 1 and a 2, which works sometimes, but sometimes moves me from a 1:00 display to a 2:00. then my noon appt is misscheduled for 2:00, if I don't catch it. Am I missing something?
    When I am done editing a calendar entry, I can't hit return to save, I have to click done. Again, am I missing something, or is this just how it works?
    thanks for any tips you have!

    i believe , the configuration should work fine...one thing you need to ensure is , both the devices need to have latest firmware ..

  • Flex datagrid custom itemRenderer - making column NOT EDITABLE

    Hi all,
    I am new to flex and having been trying to build custom editors and renderers for datagrid. I ran into this problem trying to fix another one (http://forums.adobe.com/post!reply.jspa?message=3569216)
    The problem is :
    I have a custom editor and a renderer for a text column. The whole grid is editable (i.e; editable=true). But clicking on the cell does not show me the editor. However, if I change the renderer to mx.controls.label, clicking on it takes me to my custom editor.
    Can anyone please tell what I am doing wrong?? I am pasting the relevant code for more details.
    DATAGRID : Replacing  itemRenderer = "renderers.TextRenderer" with itemRenderer = "mx.controls.Label" makes the column editable

    Tricks I have tried and failed :
    1. added the following code to the renderer
       override public function get data():Object{
                                       return super.data;
    2. remove/change focusEnabled
    3. wrote the same renderer in Actionscript - making it extend MXDataGridItemRenderer. I had to add the label component txt using addElement. Clicking on this does show th editor but it doesnt show the label txt at all... i.e; I dont get any text displayed.
    I am using Flex 4.0 sdk.

    It worked!!!!!!! Thank you!! What you mentioned was indeed the problem!
    Here is the custom item renderer's set data function
    Before
    Now
    override public function set data(value : Object):void{
                      super.data = text;
                      this.txt.text = (value as Slide).text ; //txt is the Label control
    override public function set data(value : Object):void{
                      super.data = value;
                      this.txt.text = (value as Slide).text ; //txt is the Label control
    oh man, this is such a stupid mistake. I think I was confused with having three text properties - one inherited from MXDataGridItemRenderer, one in my txt Label control and one on my slide.
    I had no idea that sending the value up to the super class was so important. None of the docs I read seemed to give much importance to this statement.
    thanks so much and sorry for taking up so much of your time. I guess it is uncessary to post any more code.

  • Help! Hit an wierd exception when edit a column in editable table

    I created a view object with 3 entities objects (3 tables) in model project and drag view object into jsf page to create as an edit table in view controller project.
    when I run this jsf page and update the value for a column of one row in the page, hit below exeception?
    I try to find the reason but failed. appreciate if anybody can help. thanks.
    The date string "2013-10-06 01:00:00.0" is for YardFixedSlotRecomm.START_DT and I didn't change this value. it seems that it is using "2013-10-06 01:00:00.0" to set YardFixedSlot.FIXED_SLOT_ID value and no idea about why ADF is doing this and I tested view object and it can work, but when it is used in web app, problem occurred.

    I am using JDeveloper 12c.
    I want to know why ADF selected input string: "2013-10-06 01:00:00.0"  for parsing? maybe it took wrong value. I just made one column: YardFixedSlot.STATUS_C ediable. input string: "2013-10-06 01:00:00.0" is a value for row key column: YardFixedSlotRecomm.START_DT.
    The row key compose of 4 columns with  respective types: [Interger,String ,Interger, Timestamp]
    YardFixedSlot.FIXED_SLOT_ID
    YardBlock.BLOCK_M AS BLOCK_M1
    FxedSlotRecomm.FIXED_SLOT_ID AS FIXED_SLOT_ID1
    YardFixedSlotRecomm.START_DT
    But error message show 3 parameters:
    Root cause error code is JBO-25009. Error message parameters are {0=java.lang.Integer, 1=2013-10-06 01:00:00.0, 2=java.sql.Timestamp}

  • Wrong column entries

    Hi,
    I´ve a table where one column(status) includes wrong values. Stuff like this:
    NC€CESSED
    ’@CESSED
    jã€CESSED
    thats all the same: PROCESSED! No other table or column is concerned.
    Our driver (9.0.2.0.0) shows all data correct, if we are using the right statement, so we have no problems in production.
    The right statement includes an select on all possible column values
    Example:
    select ... from confirmation where reserved = ... and status in('CREATED','PROCESSING FAILED','PROCESSED', 'PROCESSING')
    Next one is´nt usable because cryptic data for column status would be returned:
    select ... from confirmation where reserved = ...
    What is the problem with this column?
    THX for help. Marcus

    Hi,
    You can check;  Number of incorrect logons for a user after which the logon procedure will terminate  using this parameter.
    in rz11 ,
    login/fails_to_session_end
    These parameters may help you.

    My question is there any way we can look the user account wrong password entries and how many times they entered the wrong password.
    I don't think this is possible - to cheek , how many times the user entered the wrong password.
    Even if possible , those types of messages should appear in the system log - sm21
