Takes up to 20 times to connect to Firefox and then Crashes up to 20 times in yahoo email a day.
I have been in dialog with "Just Answer" the past two weeks 60 times over this issue. This has been an issue for several months. Just today I tried 18 times "Sever not Found" "Try again" before accessing Firefox. Yesterday Firefox crashed in Yahoo email 15 times. I can forward to you all the things "Just Answer" tried if that would be a help.

I have a 64 gig second gen iPad mini that I updated to iOS 8.2 yesterday with no initial problems. You're probably thinking all's good right? Wrong.
All was good until about an hour ago. When I saw a text notification on the lock screen I swiped right thinking that it wouldn't act any differently from the countless other times that I've done that same action...little did I realize that it would lock up once unlocked. What troubleshooting have you tried since the device froze? Is it still froze? First step would be to try and power off the device. If that does not help, then perform a reset. Hold the sleep/wake and home buttons together until you see the Apple logo and then release. The device will reboot, and it will have no affect on your data. That should correct things, but if it doesn't, then the next steps are a restore from backup, and if necessary a restore as new. -

My home network has an Airport Extreme w/Time Capsule as the base and then an Airport Express and a second Airport Extreme to reach different areas of the house. Is there a way to use the second Airport Extreme for file storage on this network? Network is administered through an iMac running OS X Yosemite 10.10.2. Ideally, would like for the second Airport Extreme hard drive to appear on the list of devices in the Finder window.

The problem is network wise.. Yosemite is about equal to tin cans and string.. pathetic.
Here is my usual set of instructions to get anything working on Yosemite.
The best way to fix problems is a full factory reset of all the AE in the network.
Factory reset universal
Power off the AE.. ie pull the power cord or power off at the wall.. wait 10sec.. hold in the reset button.. be gentle.. power on again still holding in reset.. and keep holding it in for another 10sec. You may need some help as it is hard to both hold in reset and apply power. It will show success by rapidly blinking the front led. Release the reset.. and wait a couple of min for the AE to reset and come back with factory settings. If the front LED doesn’t blink rapidly you missed it and simply try again. The reset is fairly fragile in these.. press it so you feel it just click and no more.. I have seen people bend the lever or even break it. I use a toothpick as tool.
Then redo the setup from the computer with Yosemite.
1. Use very short names.. NOT APPLE RECOMMENDED names. No spaces and pure alphanumerics.
eg AEgen5 and AEwifi for basestation and wireless respectively.
Even better if the issue is more wireless use AE24ghz and AE5ghz with fixed channels as this also seems to help stop the nonsense.
2. Use all passwords that also comply but can be a bit longer. ie 8-20 characters mixed case and numbers.. no non-alphanumerics.
3. Ensure the AE always takes the same IP address.. this is not a problem for AE which is router.. it is a problem for AE which is bridged.. you will need to set static IP in the main router by dhcp reservations or use static IP in the AE which is tricky.
4. Check your share name on the computer is not changing.. make sure it also complies with the above.. short no spaces and pure alphanumeric..
5. Make sure IPv6 is set to link-local only in the computer. For example wireless open the network preferences, wireless and advanced / TCP/IP.. and fix the IPv6. to link-local only.
6. Now mount the disk of the second AE in finder... manually.
Use Go, Connect to Server and type in the AE ip address.
SMB://10.0.1.2
Where you will replace that address with the actual address. The network resource should be discovered and then it will request the password.. type that in and make sure you tick to save it in your keychain.
There is a lot more jiggery pokery you can try but the above is a good start.. if you find it still unreliable.. don't be surprised.
Do as much as you want of the above... not all of it is necessary.. only if you want it reliable.. or as reliable as Yosemite in its current incarnation can manage.
The most important thing is point 6.. mount the disk using direct IP address and not names.. dns in Yosemite is fatally flawed.

I recently purchased a Time Capsule to store data at my office. I have an Apple TV at my home that I would like to start using to play my movies. With the storage of the new Time Capsule, I am curious if I can somehow store my iTunes movies on the Time Capsule at my office and then use Back to My Mac to access the TC from my home and then play them via Apple TV. Does this sound possible? We have an iMac at the office that remains on 24/7 connected to the TC.
ATV cannot play movies from the TC, even if it is on your home network.. ATV is a streamer.. it is not a media player.. and the TC is a dumb as a board hard disk in a router.. so it has nothing in it either.
You cannot play movies from ATV without itunes, which streams to the ATV.
If the iMac is running 24/7 then you should be able to connect to the iMac remotely and run from iTunes on that, which could then play movies stored on the TC.. with the following issues.. if you use wireless on the iMac forget it. The iMac has to be ethernet connected as it has to pick up the movie on the library and play it back to the TC to network to your home.
The next issues is speed of slowest connection.
Your download to your home maybe great.. what is the upload speed from your office like??
If you pay for uploads and downloads you will pay for the movie 3x.. first to download it.. second to upload it.. office to net.. and third to download it again.. net to home.. Sorry but it is better to play the movie directly from online itunes store.
If you plan to try and play non-itunes movies over the connection, it won't work.. ATV as stated is linked to itunes and cannot play movie files.
Overall this sounds like you need to think it out a bit more. -

Some users have reported that Apple is aware of the issue.

Error 3194, Error 17, or "This device isn't eligible for the requested build" - Apple Support
