Talent Management - Return for Correction

Hi,
When the manager clicks on "Delete" button on the Return for Correction notification, the appraisal of the employee gets lost. How to avoid this? Is any way to personalize this delete button? If it is a standard functionality, how could we rollback the lost record?
Thanks in advance

I'm afraid this is standard functionality. It might be changed in R12. I try to remove the possibility of this happening by removing the function. But, unfortunately, this affects all notifications.

  • Workflow Return for correction RFC history not appearing

    Hi -
I have built a custom new workflow in Oracle Learning Management.
I am using the workflow attribute WF_NOTE to capture the comments of the approvers.
When the approval moves from one approver to another, it successfully captures any comments made by the previous approvers and displays it to the next approver.
However, when any of the approvers click on return for correction ( RFC ) button and the notification moves to the creator, the approval history is blank and does not have the comments made by the approver about why he is returning for correction.
    Any insight?
    Thanks

In actual it should update only that SIT record which is currently under consideration and not allow other records to modify.Ayaz
this is a very valid question .. and same thing happens with EIT as well. This happens because when you create or update EITs, SITs you can do more than one at a time at the time of creation/ updation. So when approver go to update action or send it back for return for correction you create/ update multiple EITs and SITs as all of that go in single transaction.
Let us know if you find any solution for this one.

  • Workflows - reminders / Approvals / return for correction etc

    Hi
Can anyone help, We are trying to set up an automated Business Process Matrix, bascially we have people that need to submit reports (annually / Monthly / Quarterly) and we want to be able to
Send them an email say 1 week before the due date (and then another say 2 days before due date.
When they submit the document I want to be notified that they've uploaded the document to a business process list and be able to approve it or return for correction
Last but not least – would like to be able to keep a historic library of the documents
Looked on google and can see how to do it with sharepoint designer – easy – but our company have denied us access to it – and we have to pay a team to do anything in designer !!!!

    hi,
You're stuck without SPD for the first requirement, but I’m sure your specialised team would welcome a bit of direction :). My comments in bold
“Send them an email say 1 week before the due date (and then another say 2 days before due date"
You can use the ‘Information Management Policy’ method as described in
this blog article by Laura Rogers (it’s for MOSS and WSS but works in SP2010 also). SPD required. Alternative is custom timer job which would be dev – not ideal.
"When they submit the document I want to be notified that they've uploaded the document to a business process list and be able to approve it or return for correction"
You could use a standard ‘out of the box’ approval workflow for this. No SPD required.
"Last but not least – would like to be able to keep a historic library of the documents"
The library that the documents would be uploaded to could also function as a historic library of the documents. Perhaps your default view could only include recently uploaded documents. No SPD required. Some useful info
    here.
    Cheers

    HI ,

but requirement is that after these 2 approvers we need to have the final approval from another team. but they ll not get any notification. I ll put all the transaction details into the table n show that to the use. from there the approval group can do multiple actions like Return for Correction, approval, rejectiion etc.
To achive this , I have blocked the workflow after 2 approvers. After this the txn details are put into the table from where the final approval group can either select approve , reject or Return fo rCorrection. When they click on Approval, the workflow blocked activty will be compelted with a result of Approve and if they click reject it will complete activity with reject status.

  • Return For Correction-EIT

    Hello All,
We have registered an Extra Information Type and enabled security for Employee self service responsibility.Every thing is working fine except return for correction feature. Approver is able to return the notification for correction but when requester opens the returned notification  and clicks on "Continue Action" link, he is not able to see the information type and getting note as "Under your current responsibility, no information types are available for this person"(May be this page is defaulted to some responsibility other than Employee self service ). He is not even able to see "Switch responsibility" list of values.
It seems i have missed something during setup. Kindly share some ideas to fix this issue and let me know if you need more information(Note that i am very new to this forum and this this my first thread)

  • "Return for Correction" button in SSHR approval notification directing to External URL

In SSHR approval workflow notification mail, if we click on "Request for Correction" button, an incorrect URL is loaded.
1 - Where should this be setup to direct to the particular notification in workflist in Oracle page?
2 - How can we remove this functionality in the notification?

  • Is TREX mandatory for Talent Management?

    Dear Experts,
Is TREX a mandatory component for Talent Management? It's because I am having issue when I click "Search" in Talent Management Specialist Launchpad, telling me "Error occurred during the search; contact your system administrator".
And it seems to me that TREX supports only LINUX and MaxDB, which is totally out of our company's landscape.
    Thanks,
    Steven

    Hi Steven,
TREX is the search engine itself. That means Talent management is using enterprise search and enterprise search uses TREX to perform searches and store data.
Enterprise Search is part of SAP Netweaver ABAP ( also called embedded search ). Enterprise search is responsible to index data from HR to TREX and is responsible to redirect search requests from Talent management to TREX and put back the results back to the UI. It also provides tools to maintain and administer the data models.
So Enterprise Search is available on your Netweaver ABAP system. But ES uses TREX. That means if you want to get ES up and running you need TREX. (normaly installed on a different box and connexted by RFC to the Netweaver System)
    hope that helps.

  • Looks like small data discrepancy in hr_api_transactions.transaction_document for Talent Management

    Hi,
I have some problem with the XML data in transaction document for Talent Management
Unable to perform transaction on the record.
Cause: The record has deleted by another user
When checked manually from back end, there objectives (IDs) that are there in XML type, aren't there in per_objectives table. The error seems right.
My task now is to find how many cases(objectives) are there like this. Logic is, look for objectives (that are marked as Update/Delete) in XML and find the ID existing in per_objectives or not. I could make-up the SQL for listing all objectives as a table result as below:
      select
       extractvalue(VALUE(xx_row), '/ObjectiveEORow/Name') AS objective_name,
       extractvalue(VALUE(xx_row), '/ObjectiveEORow/ObjectiveId') oid
      from hr_api_transactions txn,
           TABLE(xmlsequence(extract(xmlparse(document txn.transaction_document wellformed),'/Transaction/TransCache/AM/TXN/EO/ObjectiveEORow'))) xx_row
      where extractvalue(xmlparse(document transaction_document wellformed),'/Transaction/TransCtx/TransactionRefId')  = '26308'
      and txn.transaction_id = 1946469;
Problem now is, to distinguish only the PS="3" (Delete) and PS="2"(Update) objectives. This table doesn;t show the PS attribute of the "ObjectiveEORow" node in XML.
                   <ObjectiveEORow PS="3">
                      <ObjectiveId>1813772</ObjectiveId>
                   </ObjectiveEORow>
Please help me in making the SQL show the XML attribute "PS" value for node "ObjectiveEORow".
    regards,
    Raj.

I could get the solution. Thanks everyone !

  • Problem in Creating data for HCM Talent management System Risk of Loss data

    Hello there,
I am trying to enter data for Risk of Loss in HR HCM TMS. Does anybody know in which SAP portal Release this functionality is delivered i have SAP portal 7.00 with JEECOR and JEE and with SP 16. i think all the new functionality delivered in SAP ECC6 EHP4 is supported in SAP portal 7.00 with NW EHP1. Can anybody help in configuring risk of loss in MSS package. I will really appreciate your help in the same. or any useful link for Portal configuration specific to HCM.
    Thanks
    Mandeep

    Hi mani,
configuring Risks is part of the talent management suite, talent assessment.
check out this documentation on SAP help:
    http://help.sap.com/erp2005_ehp_04/helpdata/en/b5/ae52db46094946933b2c4dd6cb5ae7/content.htm
Under SPRO you will want to use talent management -> talent assessment
there are however a number of basic things that should be looked at under talent management -> basic settings.  Particularly for the "assessment landing" page to work it involves integration between the central person and the SAP business partner.  This is the first step in spro, under tm -> basic settings.
    Best Regards,

  • Development Plan Configuration details for Talent Management

    Hi Gurus,
I need to know the configuration nodes used for Development Plans in Talent management.I created the development form in Talent Assessment -->Define Forms for Talent Assessment. & assigned a scale to it.
Now when I log in with the TMS id in portal & create a development form for one of the employees, I can see certain links & fields like : Add Action (link), when i click on Add action a screen pops up & asks for Action Type & Action Status.
Firstly i need to know where does these values get fetched from.
Secondly when i click on Add Action button, ideally it should give me 2 options :1. Add actions that can be freely defined and 2. Add training, but currently it just opens a window to create a new action. So how to control the same.
    Regards
    Bharti

    Hi,
I know this is a (very) old post but my answer might help someone anyway.
    1. Actually, the dropw-down lists are filled from the table T77TMC_SCA_MAP, status is mapped with scale 8 and type is mapped is scale 9.
Customizing of this table can be reached trough transaction S_EH4_55000247.
    2. The option is only shown when LSO integration is active.
    Hope it helps.
    Best regards,
    Guillaume

  • Configuring TREX for HCM Talent management functionality using Nakisa

    Hi,
We are configuring the Talent Management functionality in ECC-HR system. We have installed TREX 7.1 patch number 36 and Nakisa.
We are using the 'embedded search' functionality.
Now, also and are trying to create indexes using the Administration cockpit (tcode ESH_COCKPIT).
However we are getting the error 'System DHS, client 100: A connection already exists' while creating a 'search connector' in the cockpit.
Also, we are getting the below log error in the system in SM21:
    ''TREX_ICM - Send_Error; return code = 112, return text =HTTPIO_PLG_ICM_CONNECT_FAILED-Fehle''
Kindly let us know what should be done.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Kunal.

    Hi,
Now the initial error we were getting is resolved by applying one note suggested by SAP OSS.
However, now we have another issue, while creating indexes using tcode ESH_COCKPIT in the backend system.
We get error when we try to go to tcode TREXADMIN --> TREX
    ABAP Customizing --> 'Net Performance'.
    It gives the error below:
    ERROR
Remote communication failure with partner http://:33003/ICMConnectTest
    HTTP Status 507: Kernel error:ICM_HTTP_CONNECTION_FAILED (400 )
Kindly let us know why we get the error because even while recreating
the indexes we get similar error i.e. Remote communication failure with
    partner http://cca1cs0872:33003/asxml/multiIndexCellTable
The icm timeout parameter is sufficiently large i.e. around 30 minutes.
Also, the RFC (TREX_DHS) from ECC-HR system to the TREX is working fine.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Kunal.

  • Searching for dashboard Talent Management in OBI APPS

    Hi All,
I have question to the Gurus that I am searching for Talent Management in OBI Apps Human resource , is it available in 7.9.6 version because we have 7.9.5 and it is not there in that ?
    Thanks for quick response,
    Amol

    Hi Amol,
We have downloaded and setup the BI Apps to see what they are all about. I personally exported a report of all the requests in the latest version, 7.9.6, and there is nothing affiliated with "talent".
Hope this helps. Please award points if you find my research helpful.
    Best regards,
