Tasks go Missing

Hi,
I have some users set up as Team Room members who can create tasks that aren't visible to the person they sent the task to and aren't visible in their own tracking task list.
The tasks are being created as I can see them appearing in Content Admin > Workflow Content > Work Items / Workflow Tasks   search tool.
I don't think it's permissions as users have same role and group config.
Anyone know possible reasons?  Anyone know where these items are stored in DB so I can check what's getting written back so maybe i can debug / figure this out.  Very frustrating!!
TIA
J

I had a similare problem.  I solved it by giving the room owner full access via room administration.  (login as a user with the room administration option, filter to the room you want, click the check box next to it and click set full access...this will give the room owner full access and somehow fixed the problem for me).

  • Windows Server 2008 sp2 Task Scheduler missing next run time after restart

    Hi,
    I have the issue that there does not appear to be a fix for with a server 2008 sp2 (NOT R2) where after a restart all tasks are missing the next run time so I need to edit each task to add this time back in. I have tried  the hotfix in KB 950035
    but this when you run it is only for Vista and cannot be installed despite saying it's also for Server 2008.
    For some reason also this is Task Scheduler version 1 not 2 which I thought came with windows since Vista so SP2 should have it.
    Anyone got any ideas?
    Thanks,

    Hi Evans,
    Would you please let us know current situation of this issue?
    As Dave mentioned, Windows Server 2008 Service Pack 2 include all the previously released updates for Windows
    Server 2008.
    Based on your description, I understand that all scheduled tasks still miss the next run time on your Windows
    Server SP2 when the server restart. If anything I misunderstand, please don’t hesitate to let me know.
    On current situation, please open Properties of one problematic scheduled task, navigate to History tab, then
    check if find some relevant events or errors. Those may help us to go further analyze.
    If any update, please feel free to let us know.
    Hope this helps.
    Best regards,
    Justin Gu

  • Predefined tasks are missing for Workflow in ECC 6.0 ehp4

    Hello Team,
    I am trying to activate the WF for PR item level, but getting  error messages as shown in the screen shot. Looks likes some standard tasks are missing.  So, How can I activate or configure this? Please Advise.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Sushma

    delegation is how you enhance workflow object, you create a z sub object and delegate it back to the standard object, any new attributes methods and events created for the z object will be available for the standard object.
    Extending Object Types: Inheritance and Delegation (SAP Library - Business Task Management)
    As for the missing tasks, this is a bit strange since this is a standard workflow, check SE03 and see that no one deleted them by mistake (the type is PDTS) if so maybe do a client copy. I don't think that you can copy the standard tasks directly. but you have a few options:
    create new tasks based on the same methods and recreate the workflow (this is not a complex workflow)
    copy the tasks in the other systems to new ones and transfer the copied tasks to your system. copy the workflow as well.

  • HPDM 4.6 - _Enroll Certificate with SCEP Task Template missing

    I recently upgraded our HP DM to v 4.6 as I was searching for a better way to deploy CA certificates to our t510 thin clients, and this version supports SCEP.
    I also downloaded the Client Kit ThinPro-4.4-SCEP-0.0.3 software (via the Template > Import > HP FTP Software Component Browser) and this is visible in the list of Task Templates.
    The problem I have is that the HP DM User Guide for this version outlines Enrolling Certificates using SCEP by double clicking on the _Enroll Certificate with SCEP task template, which I don't seem to have?
    How do I obtain this particular task template?

    I have already downloaded that add-on. It extracts to a .xar file, which I placed in the HP Smart Client Service\auto-update path. This is the add-on that gets pushed out to the clients at power-on.
    What I need is the _Enroll Certificate with SCEP Task Template for HPDM. I've tried the template import function but I don't seem to have the necessary .jar file?
    Am I missing something? I'm a bit of a noob with the HPDM software...

  • AWM Maintenance Task Script missing

    Has anyone else experienced this? I'm in AWM, using the 'Maintain Analytic Workspace' function (to load and aggregate data). The final wizard screen allows us to save a script containing the sql code for the task. According to the help screen, this option "Creates a SQL script on your local computer or network drive. You can execute the script at any time."
    So I select that check box, navigate to the desired directory, type in a file name, and click 'Finish' to start the load and aggregation. The load and agg work just fine, but there's no script file. I can choose an existing file or specify a new file name, but either way it doesn't work.
    It's not a user rights issue, since I'm the administrator of this stand-alone development PC.
    Using AWM 10.2.0.1.0A on Windows XP Professional.
    Any suggestions?

    Try to put authid clause while creating the procedure. Not sure if this resolve your issue but its worth trying it...

    isAW number;

    DBMS_LOB.CREATETEMPORARY(xml_clob,TRUE);

    dbms_lob.writeappend(xml_clob, 8, 'ues="0">');
    dbms_lob.writeappend(xml_clob, 55, ' <BuildList XMLIDref="CF_CALENDAR_TEST.DIMENSION" />');
    dbms_lob.writeappend(xml_clob, 18, ' </BuildDatabase>');
    dbms_lob.close(xml_clob);
    xml_str := sys.interactionExecute(xml_clob);
    dbms_output.put_line(xml_str);
    dbms_aw.aw_detach('MI_WS3_ENV2_OLAP_CORT_O.CORT_FACILITY');

  • Task scheduler missing from Restricted/Permitted snap-ins?

    Hi all,
    We are using Active Directory 2008R2, and recently we have a issue about GPO. The situation is:
    We enabled the  "Restrict users to the explicitly permitted list of snap-ins" for some users(Windows XP and Windows 7), it located at "User Configuration\Policies\Administrative Templates\Windows Components\Microsoft Management Console". After then, these
    users could not open task scheduler anymore, it noticed "The snap-in below, referenced in this document, has been restricted by policy. Contact your administrator for details."
    I tried to enable permit use of task scheduler but just could not find it from "Restricted/Permitted snap-ins".
    Is this sort of a bug or I went to the wrong place? Does anyone aware of this? Any feedback is appreciated!

    Hi,
    Yes, there is no exist setting to explicitly permit Task Scheduler if you enabled "Restrict users to the explicitly permitted list of snap-ins". As a workground, you can use some custom adm file. You can refer to this link for a sample:

  • Mac OS X Version 10.6.8 Apple tv icon in task bar missing ?

    Hi,
    I have mid 2009 Mac Book Pro Mac OS X Version 10.6.8 build 10K549 fully updated as reported by OS update utility in the 'About Mac' option. The Apple tv is running fine with iTunes and other apple devices but there is no apple tv icon in taskbar to directly send the screen of my laptop to tv. Do i need to upgrade to other flavors like Maverick, is yes which one ? Or is their a work around for Snow Leopard to get it working ?

    Sarfraz.

    Hi,
    As you are the expert, i would go with what you are saying but required specs for airplay on iphone states that "To use AirPlay, you will need the following: iPhone 4s (or later)....." whereas i have iPhone 4 with iOS 5.0.1 and airplay works fine from my phone.
    So, if you get any chance of upgrading MacBook Pro 2009 to Maverick or any other higher version OS x and using the airplay, please do let me. The one i was trying on belongs to a friend and i just don't want to go through the whole backup and fresh installation cycle.
    Thanks for your help!

  • SWFVISU task not appearing in any of the UWL Config files

    Hello Workflow/Portal gurus, gotta question...
    Scenario: I want custom workflow single-step tasks used in perf. mgmt. workflows to launch BSP application.
    My understanding is that when you maintain link between workflow task and BSP application in SWFVISU followed by 'Register item types for all systems' in UWL and clearing Cache, UWL config file should be updated to include the task maintained in SWFVISU with appropriate launching parameters. I have used this successfully in the past with Wedbdynpro applications.
    In my portal system, a new custom task that I maintain in SWFVISU is not even appearing in any of the UWL config file. when we use 'Register item types for all systems' option in UWL followed by clearing Cache,one of the config file does successfully get updated (we see success message and update date and time) but custom task is missing from the config.
    Also, when I manually try to configure custom task and launching applications using one of the UWL wizard it gives error symbol with no messages. UWL behaves strange (Auth is not an issue) and couple of things we checked per UWL/Portal config docs seems to be in order.
    Any pointers what we could be missing? Is there anything else other than adding task in SWFVISU followed by 'Register item types for all systems' in UWL and clearing Cache that needs to be done?
    Appreciate your help,
    Saurabh

    Hi,
    i had the same problem that all entries form SWFVISU could not be displayed in the XML config file.
    The solution is very simple since SP 18 of NW portal: you need to configure a RFC destination in the Visual Admin (see Note 1133821).
    Though if you are not using Delta Pull you have to create this destination to register the UWL.
    I hope this helps.
    Regards,
    Marc
