Tax Reporter PU20 and PU21 transactions
We are in the process of upgrading to ERP2005 and making sure all the transactions we were using in 4.6C are still there and working as expected.
Our functional team has discovered that the Tax Reporter transactions PU20 and PU21 are no longer available, although I have verified that the code still exists in the ABAP editor.
I have searched OSS, but have not found any recent entries regarding the removal of these transactions. Is there a list somewhere of the transactions that have been added or removed in ERP2005, or can someone please point me to a note describing an alternative process for these transactions?

Substitution for Tax reporting date

I have created a substitution at document header level to change Tax Reporting date field.
It works correctly when I enter a fixed value or another field value, but when I enter a user exit it does not work in VF11 transaction
Which could be the problem?

Here are couple of reports i can think of for taxes:
S_ALR_87012360 - Transfer Postings for Deferred Taxes
S_ALR_87012394 - Record of Use and Sales Taxes (USA)
In case of withholding taxes, you can use sap line item reports like FBL1N (Vendors), FBL3N (GL Accounts) FBL5N (Customers) and enter withholding tax code in dynamic selection or play around with the layout to get some data.
I would also look at SAP Menu --> Accounting --> Financial Accounting --> General Ledger --> Reporting --> Tax Reports.
You will see many reports here too.

I really don't know why my tax reporter number range is running so fast. I ran the tax reporter for only like 15 times for only 30 employeess in production but the tax reporter number range goes upto 9234. why is that so. how does numberrange in tax reporter works and how do i fix it.

Can anyone tell me what is the difference between Tax Report and Tax Reconcilation Report?
What is Tax Reconcilation Report supposed to do?From the Help Files this is what I have
Tax Report
In this report, you can display documents and manual journal entries that include tax amounts, sorted by tax code.
The tax report includes the following documents:
A/R and A/P invoices and credit memos
Stock transfer documents The stock transfer transactions are displayed only in order to report the transactions in the report due to the fact that the tax percentage is 0.
Manual journal entries
Incoming payments and payments to vendors that are not based on invoices
Incoming payments and payment to vendors that include cash discounts
Tax Reconciliation Report
This report enables you to track the taxes amounts that were posted in sales and purchasing documents and in manual transactions.
The report displays the G/L accounts involved in these transactions and calculates the tax amounts that should have been paid, based on the tax codes defined for each transaction.
The report covers the following transactions:
A/P and A/R invoices
A/P and A/R credit memos
Manual journal entries
A/P and A/R down payment invoices
Incoming and outgoing payments -

My Total Sales Input in the tax report and my total sales in the P&L for a period doesnt match. I persume they both should match as all Tax inputs are sales. I have checked for manual journals into sales account but there are no manual journals.
Any suggestions as to where the differnaces could be located.

No I have not made any queries, but using the standard SAP tax report which is under Fianancial Reports - Accounting - Tax - Tax Report. Selected posting date as the date range for the period and Transaction types and selected all transaction types from the listing.

I think you have reached the state of finding the USER to ROLE relationship
Take the output to an excel,
COPY just the roles column exactly in order do not rearrange , use AGR_1251 like other experts have mentioned
insert the roles copied from you buffer and execute, the output will have multiple entries for each role take the output to an EXCEL again , make it unique and match the outputs between both the EXCELS.
It will be a little tricky to do this, but I think you are proficient in MS EXCEL.
This is one of the ways to do , there are many other ways to do it. -

I would like to know few things in regards the VAT report S_ALR_87012357 report - Advance Return for Tax on sales and purchase:
(1) What information brings the S_ALR_87012357 report?
(2) As of now this report displays tax against vendor line item and not expense line item. Is there any other report that shows all the positions lines affected to tax?
(3) Is it possible that the tax line stays only in the expense line account and not in the vendor line account or not any intercompany line account?
(4) Is it possible S_ALR_87012357 report shows information about the tax allocanted in expense accounts and not in vendor accounts?

I am unsure how the SAP is setup in your organisation. S_ALR_87012357 should pick up expenses selection as well.
This report entirely depends on tax code selection. -
Sales and Tax reports separated by currency
I searched the forum and had a live chat with Adobe support with no result
BC supports multiple currencies and has the option to set taxes per country or region.
One would expect that BC therefore should supply reporting for sales per currency and tax reports for each defined tax setting.
But it doesn't - sales numbers are all collected as it was in one currency. I have 7 currencies in my webshop.
The sales numbers are totally wrong in the system. All currencies are summarized together without any separation.
Imagine me trying to do a tax report, US only has so many taxes and even sub taxes for some states.
It is practically impossible.
I am reaching out to the readers of this development forum.
Please, please, please is there anyone who can build something to fix this problem in BC.

Stock Transport in Plants Abroad and Tax Reporting
Hello,
We have Plants Abroad and we need to account stock transports between
our plants abroad. We have defined a billing document type for
determining taxes for plants that are abroad, so it appears on Tax
Report and EC Sales List. The issue is that, although the customer
name appears on the billing document, as the stock transport is between
plants of the same society, it does not appear on the accounting
document. So it does not appear on the Tax Report or EC Sales List
neither and this field is necessary for the reporting (but the CIF number appears correctly).
Can anyone help me in this issue?

If my understanding is correct, you need to generate a report wherein it should show abroad plant wise items sent and quantity.
For this, the material movement should have been 631 and to track the despatch details, goto MB51 and give the movement type in the "Movement Type" field and execute.

It is not possible to disable them specifically for a company code. However you can disable these using SHD0 or alternatively you can control it via settings in
SPRO....Financial Accounting.....Financial Accounting Global Settings....WHT....Extended WHT ....Calculations....Define WHT for payment postings...Select Tax code and in control data you can them.
For a specific co code it will not be possible.

Total Tax and Non-Deductible column in Tax report

My client is using AU/NZ localization. We need to customise a Tax report based on existing Tax Report in Financal Report-> Accounting> Tax> Tax Report.
Does anyone know where to pull the information for colum "Total Tax" and "Non-Deductible"?
When I look at table CSI4, CSV4, ATX1, VRT1, OVTR, they are all empty. In addition, I can't find these information in JDT1 as well.

You cannot pull the tax informatin and non-taxable dollars for a single BP - it would all need to be calculated from invoices and credit memos (at least that is the direction we took).
You can (i.e. for customers) use calculations and sums with the OINV and INV1 tables - they both have the field of VatSum, I believe. OINV has DocTotal and INV1 has LineTotal that you can use. Getting the right calculation with those sums depends a lot on how your customer has determined tax for the BPs (i.e. freight is/is not taxable, discounts, various taxing entities, etc...).
I do not have the exact SQL in front of me, but I remember something like the following being the key calculation...
OINV.DocTotal minus the sum of INV1.LineTotals and minus the sum of INV1.VatSums = Non-Taxable (with my customer it ended up being a lot of freight appearing as non-taxable). So $1,014.00 (DocTotal) minus $1,000.00 (sum of LineTotal) = $14.00 then $14 minus $9.00 (sum of LineVatSum) = $5.00 as Non-taxable.
If you want to have the taxing entities to show, then it is a matter of joining in other tables (OSTA, etc...)
Try writing some SQL in the Demo System SAP provides first - just to get an idea of how it can go...

I would like to know who access projects reports (on accounts (transaction GR55) and on projects (transaction CJE0)).
I found only that :
- transaction GR52 : who access the latest and when, and how many times the report was called (historical)
- transaction CJE2 : latest call and number of calls (report parameters - BasisInfo)
Is there another way to have more informations ?
