Hello:
I am using BEA Workshop Studio 3.3.0 for developing my application using JSF 1.1. I would like to upgrade my application to JSF 1.2. Problem being BEA Workshop Studio 3.3.0 supports only RI JSF 1.1.
I had read through the documentation of the latest release of Workshop Studio 10.0 and that too doesn't mention much about the JSF version being used. I would like to know if there is a way to upgrade to JSF 1.2 on BEA Workshop Studio 3.3.0.

Tutorial on how to create an Ajax-enabled JSF component in Creator?
Is there a tutorial on how to create (not use/import existing) an Ajax-enabled JSF component using Creator 2? I read somewhere that it was done during a presentation in 3 minutes! Now that I really want to see ;-
thanks,
-nikitaAs far as I remeber, Edwin Goei's examples are the
closest thing to the info you are looking. He has an
example component, but don't remember if they're
AJAX enabled. Check it on
http://wiki.java.net/bin/view/Javatools/CustomCompone
tLibraries.
Best regards
Antonio. Thanks for the plug. I've been meaning to update that article. Writing an AJAX component is similar to writing other kinds of components but the developer uses AJAX techniques. The latest version of the popup calendar which is checked into the bpcatalog project of java.net uses Dojo which also has some support for AJAX. I haven't yet had time to update the article yet, unfortunately.

Hide Ajax enabled portlet with jsp form loading
Hi All,
I seriously struck with this problem and any help is appreciated.
Functionality:-
I have 2 portlet in a page portletA(non ajax) and PortalB(ajax enabled and it will just handle the portletA events). For checkbox event on portletA i am submitting PortletB JSP Form through PortletA JavaScript.
PortletB jsp Form consists of only hidden variables, which will be set by PortletA JavaScript. All this is working fine.
Problem:-
My problem is I have to hide PortletB.For this i am using BackingFile preRender method. If I hide portletB then JSP Form is not loading and from PortletA iam unable to get the Form object of portletB to submit.
Even setVisible is not working.
Here is my PortletB jsp Form
<netui:form tagId="ajaxEnabledForm" action="deleteRSAandCMFProfile">
<netui:hidden dataSource="actionForm.userName" tagId="userName"></netui:hidden>
</netui:form>
How to make PortletB invisible with jsp form loading?
Thanks in advance.hi, i don't have the exact solution to your problem, but can suggest you work around.
in portlet b jsp, add <div> tag at the top, and use its style properties to hidden/visible as per your need. from the backing file you can set a request attribute which determines the hiding and showing in the div tag.
you may not be able to control the visibility of title bar. for this, there are two options.
1. you can try to use portlet backing context tile bar and hide title bar from backing file.
2. if this does not work, then define id attribute to div tag in title bar skeleton jsp, and access that div by using id from the portlet jsp and then hide that div tag.
thanks

Windows 10 Tech Preview Will Not Run On Oracle VM - Newest Build 2015
Hello Everyone,
I've been quite pumped to install the new Tech Preview for W10 on my VB.
I DL'ed the new ISO and tried to boot it up but it game me this error:

The version I'm trying to run the machine off on is Windows 8.1 x64 / Other Windows x64.
I gave it 4096MB of RAM, with 256MB of VRAM allocated to it. 3D Acceleration is also enabled. I'm not too sure if this is an Oracle VM problem, or an ISO problem. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
ScythianUnborneI am trying to install Windows 10 in Virtual Box on my HP Pavilion DV6 running Windows 7 Home Premium x64. I set up the Win10 virtual machine following these instructions: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/insider/forum/insider_wintp-insider_install/how-to-install-windows-10-developers-preview-in/e98dd450-02d2-4519-b6a3-6743bedcf777
However, I am receiving the following error: 'VT-x/AMD-V hardware acceleration is not available on your system. Certain guests (e.g. OS/2 and QNX) require this feature and will fail to boot without it.' When I click continue, the VM provides the following
message: 'Your PC needs to restart. Please hold down the power button. Error Code: 0x0000000A Parameters: 0xFFD00000 0x000000FF 0x0000000A 0x8192F5E3'
After some further research, I found that I need to enable virtualization and hyperthreading. I downloaded Speccy and determined that my PC is capable of virtualization, and it was already enabled; however, hyperthreading is not supported. I have been hearing
good things about Windows 10, and I should really like to give it a test run. Is the error with Virtual Box or Windows 10 or Windows 10 running in Virtual Box? Is there anything I can do to make it work? Thanks for any help.
Any reason why you would not consider dual boot Win 7 and Win 10 TP ?
I had an Acer Aspire laptop running Win 7 Home Premium SP1 64-bit. I dual booted with Win 10 TP. That's starting from build 9841 to 9926. I dual booted twice and I had no problem doing it. -
How can we enable the tech preview for BPEL 2.0?
According to this blog, BPEL 2.0 support was supposed to be available in 11.1.1.3 in preview mode:
http://blogs.oracle.com/soabpm/2010/03/11gr1_patchset_2_111130_soa_fe.html
Any hints?Sorry, I did not understand your case correctly.
Then maybe you're talking about the "for-each" BPEL 2.0 activity which enable you to make that kind of loop.
The overall logic is the same.
You set the start counter to 1
You set the end counter to "count('your collection')"
And you name the counter in order to get the current element of the loop using the counter.
But be careful, if you set the start counter to 1 and your collection is empty then your loop will not end correctly.

Hi,
I am having the identical problem, but with BEA Workshop Studio. I've followed the instructions provided to resolve it, but I still get the same error, What am I doing wrong? Below is my variable:
PATH=C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.5.0\bin
When I hold down the control button to get the error log it APPEARS to locate the JDK, but at the very end, when it looks for the JRE it is null. -

i have java-home to jdk1.4 and the same in eclipse preferences..
but
while installing studio i gave jdk1.5 as the java-home.
I'll to re-install eclipse and the studio plugin. and try again. -
Create Oracle Service Bus using BEA workshop
Can someone please help with BEA Workshop developer guide/tutorial detailing how to create Oracle Service Bus using workshop IDE.
IDE - BEA Workshop 10gR3
OSB version - Oracle Service Bus 10gR3
Thank youThanks for your response Eric.
The tutorials that I've seen so far deal with OSB console, none of them talk about creating OSB using BEA-workshop.
On workshop IDE there is some help on OSB workshop plug-ins, but those are mostly one liners about the plug-in features
Please advice if you've link to OSB-Workshop tutorial.

The WLP Tech Preview TeamHi
I found this answer..
was having trouble getting DirectAccess to enable on Windows 10 preview. The Enterprise version was being used and the issues with the machine name and GPO covered in other threads was also resolved. Instead it turned out that if the DA configuration
has the "Laptop only" restriction used as part of the wizard, the default value will not work with Windows 10. Instead, you have to use GP Editor and edit the WMI for "Laptop only" as follows:
Select * from Win32_OperatingSystem WHERE (ProductType = 3) OR ((Version
LIKE '6.2%' OR Version LIKE '6.3%' OR VERSION LIKE '6.4%') AND
(OperatingSystemSKU = 4 OR OperatingSystemSKU = 27 OR OperatingSystemSKU = 72 OR OperatingSystemSKU = 84)) OR (Version LIKE '6.1%' AND (OperatingSystemSKU = 4 OR OperatingSystemSKU = 27 OR OperatingSystemSKU = 70 OR OperatingSystemSKU = 1 OR OperatingSystemSKU
= 28 OR OperatingSystemSKU = 71))
(the new text is the OR VERSION LIKE '6.4%') After the necessary GPO update propagation delays, DA properly runs on Win 10. Just thought I would post this for others knowledge. -

SRM 3.0 integration with XI 3.0 for Supplier enablement scenario
Hi,
Iam trying to integrate SRM 3.0 with <b>XI 3.0</b> for Supplier Enablement Scenario. Can anyone please help me with the documentation for the same? I have downloaded documentation for SRM from service.sap.com/ibc but it contains steps only for XI 2.0.
Does anyone have the steps for XI 3.0?
Thanks and Regards,
ManishVadim
We are looking to integrate SRM 4.0 with R/3 ( ECC 5.0 ) using XI 3.0. I went to service marketplace to look for XI process content for SRM 4.0 - I could find XI content for SRM 2.0 only.
1) Do you know where SAP pre-delivered XI 3.0 process content can be downloaded from ?
2) Would you be having the cookbooks- possibly for all scenarios for SRM 4.0
If you could forward /give pointers to the above , I would appreciate your help. My yahoo id is [email protected]
Thanks for your help in advance. -
Apple changed my Apple ID to the email address associated with my iTunes account. I now can no longer access my account because the old user name is no longer valid and has no password. I have been on the phone with tech support for hours trying to fix this. I can not update any of the apps associated with that user name.
Is this itunes on the iPad or on my computer? Thank you for the reply.

I have been a customer with Verizon, since 1996. Recently, my husband has been added onto my account. We have both been experience drop calls. My husband contact Tech support for over 2 weeks. We were pretty upset to be paying a lot of money for a service that didn't work. Verizon advised us that would upgrade both of our phones (to see if that solved the problem). Ok...this is where Verizon has forgotten customer service rules. He order 2 phone...one for himself, one for me. 1st the wrong address on the package..Fedex couldn't deliver...2nd...missing condo number Fedex couldn't deliver again...(2nd call to Verizon)...3rd package was finally deliver with 1 phone...missing my phone. Contacted verizon rep...reorder my phone again..but sorry we cannot give the same price as quoted on 21April...even though...its our mistake...Ok...Ok..what a surprise..but we can do this...after 65 minutes...found a price that was a little bit more...fine...just order the phone....I reordered phone on 28April...on the April 29...no email..so I can Verizon for the 4times in a few days..sorry your order was delay due to our Fraud dept. OK...talked to fraud dept...ok..account is good..will release phone and ship. OK...Next day, no email with deliver confimation. Contact Verizon 5 times now...sorry..your order was cancelled...YES...cancelled again...2nd time now...but we can reorder...OK...sorry but we cannot honor that price that was quoted..really...agent messed up...again...but we can do this for you....I don't understand...your mistake...ALL the times...
Strange ...how my order gets cancelled twice by Verizon's mistake....yet you cannot honor prices that your agents quoted!!!
I didn't reorder the phone....I cannot in good faith same with a company that does not stand behind their own mistakes...and worse...they make the poor customer pay for it...
I will not be renewing my contact...its time to Cricket Wirless...which my sister-in-law loves for half the cost....I hope that you aren't complaining about dropped calls INSIDE your condo because no amount of switching or upgrading devices will solve that.
VZW will not guarantee service inside of any structure. There are just too many factors. If the problem is inside then you might want to look at one of the following:
1.) Network Extender (may cause issues for others in a condo or apartment style setting)
2.) A Google Voice Number (Free with a Gmail email address), downloading Google Hangouts Dialer and forwarding your calls to the GVN so that you can make and receive calls over Wi-Fi.
