Technical link in Document flow

Hi Gurus,
The Service Order created in the IC Web Client has the GUID of the document in the Document flow. How is it possible to eliminate this GUID from the document flow while creating the document.

As Is Process
1) Existing work flow will be triggered when ever the new vendor is going to be created or changed.
2) Work flow had facility to attach the w9 form automatically at present .
3) After attaching the w9 form it will go for approval process.
To be Process
1) After completion of Approval process from the work flow we need to fetch the W9(Attached ) form Automatically.
2) After W9 form is fetched it needs to be electronically attached to Vendor master as a permanent document when a vendor is created or changed .
After all approval process i need to fetch the document from workflow and i need to attach the perticular form in vendor master(xk01) .

    Pur info record is nothing but a master data like thing which will be maintained for different materials to determine the prices etc.It Specifies the number that uniquely identifies a record.
    For Example: an info record is based on Plant Vendor and Material
    Based on these three the Material Prices will be calculated
    for different combinations different values are taken into consideration.
    During pricing it brings these values automatically based on this info record.
    Use ME11 Tcode to create this record.

  • Archived Deliver not showing Document FLow _RV_LIKP

    Folks
    I have started archiving for delivery object. I am able to successfully archive one document and can view the document in SARI and the only issue i am having is the when i open the archive document  the ICON which shows "DOCUMENT FLOW" is not click able so user is not able to see the document flow to find the Sales Order/STO# it was created from.
    In my customization for RV_LIKP under the setting "    Archiving Control for Delivery" i have put residence time as "5" and RNO "0"
    Also what is the RNO field  stands for .

    Deliveries should be archived before sales documents and billing documents. This sequence is a result of the way the documents are linked via document flow.

  • Document Flow and Additional Links

    We are attempting to create a linkage between sales documents that isn't naturally created through sales functions.  For instance, we need the ability to create linkages from one SAP sales order to another SAP sales order.  Thus, I have two questions.
    1) On the Document Flow screens accessed from VA03 or VA23, there is an "Addtional Links" button in the title bar.  Does anyone know it's purpose or how you make use of it?   When I click on it, we simply get "No further links exist for this object".
    2) To satisfy our need for linking documents, the "Relationships" option within Generic Object Services would seem to fit the bill quite nicely.  It is discussed in the help topic:

    Does anyone have experience with implementing this in SD?  Do you have to create custom functions or screens to create the linkages?  Is there any way to integrate the creation of linkages from within the VA22 or VA03 screens?

  • Sale order document flow-u0091Service Documentsu0092 is coming which should't aper

    New Issue with Sales order document flow:
    When linking from a sales order in document flow, we were reviewing why the description information varied.  In looking at different values, we clicked on a new item within document flow that allows you to like to ‘Service Documents’.   This is new in 6.0, or it was previously deactivated in 4.6C.  If you link from a sales order to a service document, in ECC 6.0, you will get a short dump because the document flow is so great (viewing order #any in VA03 and use document flow and then select the service documents button    as seen on the screen below
    A Short dump will occur in program SAPLDOCUMENT_FLOW_ALV.
    Here in ECC 6.0 is how it looks from sales order 9806:
    Documents created from 2004 through 2007 are coming up as linked to this sales order and that is incorrect.  There is some type of linkage issue.  In the 4.6 C environments, the ‘service documents’ link is not visible from document flow.
    Can any body functional / technical Help on this urgent???

    Hi Sanjay,
    Go to the order VA03 --> Environment --> status overview. The exact status of the header and item can be found here. You may have chances to know why the status is being processed.
    Also 
    Check whether you have checked 'document flow update' field at item level in copy control
    Check your settings for completion rule in item category
    If it is due to incorrect status message, run report SDVBUK00. That might fix the error. It is recommended to run this first in test mode.

  • CRM: How to create document flow

    Hello together,
    In the process framework I defined a new process which can be started from a sales qutotation. This process loads my own compentent where the user can upload technical objects (such as connection objects or points of delivery) and create a new object set (IsuOrderBasketSet) with the uploades technical objects.
    The requirement is to link the quotation with the created object set and vice versa so that the user can see the object set in the quotations assignment block "transaction history" and the qoutation in the object sets assignment block "transaction history".
    Does anybody know how I can meet this requirement?

    I'm recently looking for the solution on some issue, when i use MIGO to post goods receipt with reference to Inbound delivery, but the inbound delivery status always did not been update by the GR.
    I would like to understand more details for the below configuration, can anyone please share and advice the details purpose and pros and cons and if this "Document Flow update" is relevant to my issue where the inbound delivery status not updated by the GR?
    SRPO: Logistics Execution -> Shipping -> Basic Shipping Functions -> Configure Global Shipping Data --> "Document Flow Update"

    Are these delivery actually archived by archiving job? Is there any subsequent document after the delivery?
    Technically, if an delivery doesn't exist in LIKP table, but it exist in VBFA table, it will show "archived" in document flow.
    As of why the delivery doesn't exist in LIKP, there could be two possibilities:
    -  it's deleted by archiving job.
    - for unknown reason, it's gone.
    To know why it's gone, it's necessary to reproduce the issue. If you can reproduce, please raise a message to SAP support.
    What you need to do:
    - If this delivery is really archived by your archivng job, you should also archive the preceding sales document.
    - If this delivery is not supposed to be archived, but misisng, you need ot delete this dummy entry from VBFA table, and then recreate delivery.
    To get a list of this kind of archived document, there is no standard report or transaction to do that. You need to write your own report to do that. As mentioned above, technically, if delivery exist in VBFA but doesn't exist in LIKP, it will be displayed like that. You may selecting VBFA and LIKP tables to get your list.

  • Outbound Delivery Document Flow (One-Step procedure) Goods Receipt

    I am trying to extract the Goods Receipt status of Outbound Deliveries which are posted using One-Step procedure.  I can do this one delivery at a time using VL03N.
    Some sites (plants) are configured with One-Step procedure and others are configured as Two-Step procedure.
    Document flow of an Outbound Delivery is extracted from table VBFA.
    For the two-step delivery process (Movement type 641) the Goods Receipt is recorded in table VBFA (Subs.doc.categ. / VBTYP_N = 'i').  Therefore, I can easily extract the goods receipts for these deliveries. 
    However, for the one-step procedure (Movement type 647) the Goods Receipt does not appear to be recorded in table VBFA.  Does anyone know which table the Goods Receipt is stored for one-step procedure?
    Using transaction VL03N we can view the document flow.  It appears that for One-Step procedure the Goods Receipt is held at item level.  By highlighting a delivery line in VL03N and viewing the document flow we can see the goods receipt for One-Step deliveries (therefore, the data must be held somewhere).
    I understand that by using One-step procedure the goods receipt is posted automatically, so we can assume that there should never be outstanding Goods Receipts for One-Step sites.  However, I have been tasked with the job of reconciling all deliveries for the past 12 months.  I need to prove that a goods receipt has been posted for every single delivery.
    Any advice is much appreciated.

    However, the query is inefficient since the link between LIKP and MKPF does not use the primary key (Article Doc. / MBLNR).  We have almost 7 million records in MKPF table. 
    Is there any intermediate tables I can include between LIKP and MKPF so that only primary keys are used for the joins?

  • Technical Link b/w Employee and Appraisal Template

    Hi,
    Can anybody please help me in finding the technical link b/w an Employee and an Appraisal Template? In other words, I need to know the table name(s) in which data is stored while appraisal processed is going on. I can view the appraisal form in IT0024 and IT0025 in PA. I can also see the objects VA, VB & VC in PP01, but where are these entries stored in the table.
    We are on SAP R/3 4.7 (Enterprise) and using new Objective Setting and Appraisal Component.

    Function module 'HRHAP_DOCUMENT_GET_LIST' can be used for this purpose.
    In order to find the objects you want, make sure you set the appraisal templates for calling this function as well as all of the other required parameters. If you need help for the other parameters then let me know.
    The fields for the template table import parameter need to be set as follows:
    plvar = <b>Active plan version</b>
    otype = <b>VA or VB or VC</b>
    objid = <b>appraisal template id</b>
    This returns two tables - the appraisals and the associated documents.
    Other tables you may be interested in are :

  • Document Flow Configuration

    Hi Experts
    I am configuring document flow for Outbound delivery to have Delivery item linked to Delivery, Shipment linked to Delivery and Handling unit linked to Delivery Item.
    I defined one document flow group say Z_DEL1 which has sequence 1 for Delivery Header, 2 for Delivery Item with predecessor Delivery Header, 3 for Shipment with predecessor  Delievry Header and 4 for Handling Unit with predecessor Delivery Item.
    I defined Source and Predecessor document mappings for each of these sequences. Now I defined one multitask EH update activity say Z_DEL_ACT1 with task UPDATE, activity DF_UPDATE_FROM_EH and DF group Z_DEL1.
    I defined this as combined scenario of Delivery and Shipment. Now I have a question, shall I need to assign this EH Upd Act2 field with value Z_DEL_ACT1 for all Event Handler Types related to Delivery Header, Delivery Item, Shipment and Handling Unit or is it sufficient to assign EH Upd Act2 only for Delivery Header?
    The scenario is to configure document flow only for Delivery with successors as delivery item, shipment and handling unit. The document flow net should get updated automatically whenever a shipment is created or handling unit is created.
    Also, I have 2 customized statuses for delivery header document which I need to display in the table of document flow window. I am taking the fields from /SAPTRX/EH_STAT. Shall I need to add these two fields in the structure of relevant document category like addition of these 2 fields in table /1DF/1ODL400?
    I hope I am clear on my questions and please advise as soon as possible on these.

    Could you please share any document on how to configure the document flow for the scenario I explained initially?
    I still have a doubt, if I use one document flow group and define one EH update activity and assign the same to Delivery Event Handler Type, will system update the docuemnt flow whenever the Event Handlers for successors of Delivery (like Delivery Item, Shipment, Handling Unit etc) get created in EM system? or Shall I need to assign the same EH update activity to all Event Handler Types which are successors to Delivery?
    I hope I am clear on my question.

  • Sales Order -- Purchase Req -- Purchase Order ..... Sales Document flow??

    Hi Guys,
    We have a process where we proccure few parts externally. When a sales order is created in our system based on the item category config we are able to create a purchase requition automatically. This Preq is further used to create a PO based on which the purchasing group proccures the part from the vendor.
    We are trying to identify if there is a way to find out a way if we can relate the PO number created in the sales document flow? Currently we are not able to view the PO number in the sales document flow. We are trying to identify if this is possible and if yes what needs to ne configuered to enable PO number linking in sales document flow?
    Any pointers?

    Hi Bikash,
    The PO field which u r referring to on the VA01 screen is the PO number against which a SO is created. This PO number is the customers PO number. My requirement is i need to store the Intercompany PO number which is the PO number created to procure the part externally from the vendor. So its the vendor PO number and not the customer PO number.
    Secondly if i try to misuse any other field to store this PO number it dosent make sense as it would not show up in the document flow screen so it would be of no use to us. We want to enable it the std way and i am sure SAP has provided some way to do it.
    I check the OSS notes and found some interesting tips working on that hopefully should be able to resolve it.

  • How to find Document flow / Relationships to a support message

    Hi Friends,
    I am new to Solution manager. I would like to know how to find Document flow of a Support message.
    For example I have a Support message, there are few Change requests and tasks linked to it. This can be viewed from CRMD_ORDER transaction (Where used list button / Document flow), preceding documents and related documents.
    Is there any function module or table where I find the link between these different transaction types or atleast any report!

  • RH9 - Can not create ANY links in linked Word documents ;-(

    Ok, this does not make sense:
    - From RH9, create a fresh empty project
    - Create two word files "Topic1.docx" and "Topic2.docx"
    - Put "Link Here" in each document
    - Save the documents
    - From Project Manager, Project Files, link both documents, generate, update all, etc.
    - Now create hyperlinks in each topic, pointing to the other topic using default topic editor in RH9
    - Save All and Generate the WebHelp project and test the links are there and work.
    - Now open and edit both word documents in word. Add some text to each and save
    - In RH9 Project Manager, Project files, Update All and open the topics in RH9 default editor
    Walla, the full text is there, the LINKS are gone. Actually, I understand that this is how it works, but the BIG problem is that links to bookmarks, other topics, links to outside resources created in RH9 Default Editor cannot be preserved when the related/linked document is edited in Word. AND, you cannot create ANY of these links in the Word documents. So, you have a help system that has really nice update features when an author makes a change to a document, but NO LINKS. Updating a linked document will DELETE ANY changes made within the RH9 Default Editor.
    Does this make any sense? Has my brain fallen down? Is there another workflow option?

    Hummmmm, NO POPUPs, mini TOCs or See Also Keywords, Link Controls, etc. etc. etc.

    I have been observing this thread and wanted to just chip in to remove some misnomers,
    1. If you create any hyperlink from any MS Word document (say Doc1) to another MS Word document (say Doc2) and you import the original document (Doc1) then it brings its reference (that is the word document Doc2) as baggage in the RoboHelp project and the hyperlink is not created to the html file generated for the word document Doc2 (linked or imported seprately).
         thus if you click the hyperlink in RoboHelp it should open the word document Doc 2 (that was brought into the project as baggage)
    2. If word "conversion setting" alone are modified (like the settings “convert references to hyperlinks”) then at times the mapping fails to work, in such scenarios just go to the conversion settings dialog of FrameMaker and modify multiple “other settings” (it won’t impact your word conversion mapping.) Now any conversion settings applied for word will work.
                Hence the “convert references to hyperlinks” is working but you need to update any FrameMaker conversion settings to get it working
    @ Lyle – as now the flow must be clearer so I would give you a suggestion to merge all the word documents that you want to work with and use cross-references to places you want to have hyperlinks and use the option to “convert references to hyperlinks” in RoboHelp.and keep all the authoring in word document so that nothing is lost on update.
    NB – There is a method to create intra document cross references in MS Word
    In FrameMaker the concept of book gives it a sense of collection and thus cross references across FM documents inside a book are converted easily but in Word there is no way to group word documents and thus it is not possible to convert any spatial hyperlinks from one document to another.

  • Can I apply one .css stylesheet to all of my linked word documents inside my RoboHelp8 HTML project?

    Hello all,
    I am on my fourthRoboHelp8 HTML project, after the other three crashed. I am a technical writer constructing my companies Policy and Procedures Guide. I am only 142 (word documents) and 9 (RoboHelp topics) into my project and there will be plenty more to come. I recently took Kevin Siegel's RoboHelp8 class where I determined that it would be best if I link all of my word documents inside of the Project Manager becuase I will be constantly updating these documents. I've searched around the Adobe Forums, talked to Kevin, and talked to my IT Department, but I cannot seem to find an answer for my problem.
    I have linked all of 142 word documents inside of the Project Manager, and all 142 word documents have their own .css stylesheet. I have assigned the default.css stylesheet (which I have assigned all of the proper formatting to headings 1-4 to match headings 1-4 inside of my Microsoft Word 2007 documents) under Project Settings under the Import tab. I also assigned this default.css stylesheet under WebHelp Pro. My understanding with applying the default.css stylesheet to these two places is that all of my word documents and topics should have this stylesheet applied to them.
    However, when I look at each individual linked word document the default stylesheet has not been assigned and the word document is still being dictated by its own stylesheet i.e. Credit.css. On my third project, before it crashed, I manually went through all 142 word documents in the Project Manager and assigned the default.css stylesheet to them. I did this by right clicking on the topic, under Appearance, I changed the stylesheet i.e. Credit.css to default.css and clicked apply. I was immediately prompted with the two options: "Preserve modifications to this file" or "Don't show me this message again." I tried both options. The first applied the default.css stylesheet and removed the Credit.css stylesheet, but when I made a change inside of my word document and updated it inside of the Project Manager none of my changes appeared. The second did not apply the default.css stylesheet and kept my Credit.css stylesheet applied to my word document. When I made a change inside of my word document and updated it inside of the Project Manager the change appeared.
    I talked about this to Kevin and he said that the individual stylesheet applied to each linked word document did not mean anything, essentially that by making the default.css stylesheet the dominant stylesheet under Project Settings under Import that the stylesheet would be applied to all of my linked word documents/topics. He also suggested that I make a change to the stylesheet like change the color of Heading 1 and link a new word document to see if it applied the changes. I tried doing this inside of my third project, but nothing changed.
    I would like to know if I can assign one stylesheet to all of my linked word documents before I get too far into the fourth project and have that project crash on me too. One of RoboHelp's appealing features is to apply one stylesheet to multiple topics, or in my case 142 word documents and 9 topics. I hope that I can apply one stylesheet to all of these linked word documents because having 142 individual stylesheets is unmanageable.
    Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    When a word document is imported into RoboHelp project, RoboHelp generates a separate stylesheet for each word document as each word document may have its own formatting styles. In a generic scenario, word documents may be brought from different sources and may have different styling. Hence, RoboHelp allows users to preserve different styling through sepearate stylesheets.
    However, for a different scenario like yours, RoboHelp allows users to override all the CSS and apply a single CSS to all the topics at the generation of output. As you have already mentioned that you have applied default.css in the WebHelp Pro SSL dialog, that should suffice and should meet your requirement of applying a single CSS to all the topics. You can verify the same at your end by linking few word files and generating the output with a single CSS applied in the SSL settings.
