Hi,
1. What's the purpose of defining Contact Attached Data (CAD) profile, then assigning it to the business role?
2. Have you got the step-by-step guidance in configuring that?

2. IMG Path: u2192 Customer Relationship Management > IC Web Client> Basic Functions > Communication Channels > Define Communication Management Software Profiles
3. Assign to IC web profile as Contact Center (item created in 2nd step)
non IMG (done manually in each client, dev, test, prd)
4. CRMM_BCB_ADM, define name and point to step 1.
5. CRMM_IC_MCM_CCADM add item from step 4, choose channles phones, and ques are phone 3. Set CAD handling to 4 (leave blank for SAP CCS).
6. CRMM_IC_MCM_CCLNK step 2 to step 4.

  • Error in generating Profile for Child Role

    Hi Experts,
    My requirement is to chnage profile for child roles created. I'm using FM 'PRGN_AUTO_GENERATE_PROFILE_NEW' to generate the Profile for child role. However it gives an error saying "Open authorizations or org. levels in role & => no profile generated"
    when I execute it.  Infact the same error occurs when i run it for parent role also.
    But prior to attaching the child role to parent role, profile gets generated with no issues.

  • Need SMD function module for business partner in SRM

    Hi Gurus,
    I am looking for standard Master Idoc create SMD function module for business partner in SRM.
    I need to send an Idoc from SRM to ECC based on change pointers i.e. whenever a business partner is changed in SRM. So there are standard function modules *smd* available for other data but i am not able to find any FM for busienss partner.
    Please suggest if anyone has came accross such scenario.

  • Action profile for Business Partners

    Dear SAPers,
    Currently Action profile, can be easily set-up for Business transactions (Opp, Activity,etc.).
    Examle: When Opp status is changed (schedule condition, start condition), Business Parnter attribute is adapted (Execution).
    Does anyone know if Action profile can  be set-up for Business Partner?
    Examle: When BP is changed (schedule condition, start condition), Business transaction attribute is adapted (Execution).
    In standard, it does not look possible.
    Should it be possible from Business Parnter BADI (check_before_save) to generate the schedule condition of a set of Business transactions e.g Opp.

    Yes. As of today you can customize the Action Profiles to trigger actions for Business Transactions only. This is not available for the Business Partners. So, your approach of Business Partner BADI sounds a very reasonable solution to achieve the functionality.
    And for the Business Partner BADI that you mentioned here I was unable to find any such BADI in SAP CRM 7.0 system. Can you let me know from which system you got that BADI name?
    I got a BADI of BP - COM_PARTNER_BADI. Can you have a look at the implementations of it so as to have a understanding of it's usage.

    I can't find any transaction where I can assign the business transaction profile to the business role itself. Basically I have created a business transaction profile (with many dependent transactions) and I want to assign this to my Zbusiness role, but I dont know where this can be done.

    Thank you for your reply. My scenario is that i have 5 different types of service orders SO1,SO2, SO3,SO4,SO5.All of these have to be created from a service contract (there is an enhancement in place for copy control from service contract to service order). But if I want all these service orders to be seen on the IC webclient screen with their relevant status,date profile and partner determination procedure then do I need to assign these service orders as dependent transactions on the business transaction profile?
    I understand that for one business transaction profile only one dependent transaction can be set as 'service relevant' (radio button).
    Kindly reply as I am completely new to the IC world.

  • Navigation Bar Profile - Copying business role SalesPro

    Dear all,
    i am on CRM 7.0 and i have to create a business role copying the standard one SalesPro. Easy.
    Therefore, i want to create a navigation bar profile ZSales pro copying the one already used SLS-PRO for the standard one. But when i make the copy, the system requires an entry in the field Action Object for the entry Object Type: BP_ACCOUNT_CHM, Object Action: "empty in standard", target id: MD_BP_OV and highligth: MD_BP_SR where it is blank in standard !!!
    The copy then is not fully done and i cannot create an entry with empty field, how can i manage this, please ?

    Similarly you can skip those entries for the time being and later maintain it again if needed for dynamic navigation.

  • Limit Enhancement component list for Business role

    Hello,
    I have defined Enhancement Set, in it I have a list of enhanced components (table BSPWDV_COMP_EXT).
    I have a business role that need to use only one enhanced component from the list, and other components he will use as a standard.
    I know that in BADI 'COMPONENT_LOADING’  I can assign Enhancement Set to business role.
    But I don' t know where to limit the list of enhanced components (from table BSPWDV_COMP_EXT) for this business role.
    How can I do it in CRM2007?

    I found way to choose which enhancement set will work with with bussiness role:
    Need to implement BADI: COMPONENT_LOADING.
    Example of code:
        DATA: lv_profile         TYPE REF TO if_crm_ui_profile,
              lv_role(12)            TYPE c.
        lv_profile         = cl_crm_ui_profile=>get_instance( ).
        lv_role = lv_profile->get_profile( ).
        IF lv_role EQ 'ZXYZ'.
          rv_result = 'Z_EHSET'.
        ENDIF.
    lv_role - contains name of bussiness role.
    rv_result - contains name of enhancement set that will be in used for specific bussiness role.
    Laxman, you may leave rv_result empty. I think that in this case you will use standard component.

  • Customizing display profile for a role ends with a blank portal

    I have a custom TabContainerProvider with 4 tabs (containers with two channels). I need one of them to be visible only to a specific role. So I created a role (static), assigned this role to users, and in portal console with the role selected I've put the 4th container with its two channels to the TabContainerProvider. When I log in as a user with the role, I see "The desktop you are using is not yet configured with any channel in it. To get started with deploying sample content, see below."
    When I do the same, but with the users selected (so I enable the container with its channels to all of the users with the role but not for the role itself), it works.
    What can be wrong? Where should I look for hints?

    Please make sure the Parent Container for the role is set correctly. When you create a new role, the Parent Container will be set to DefaultChannel by default. To verify this,
    1. launch the portal admin console, i.e. http://host/psconsole
    2. goto portals --> portalID --> specify your role for the Select DN drop down
    3. verify that the Parent Container setting for the role is not DefaultChannel, instead it should be set to the Parent Container used by your portal.

  • Sharepoint 2013 ADFS Integration duplicates User Profiles for each Authentication Type

    Hello everyone
    i am building up a sharepoint farm which is hosting some of our corporate web sites. before integration Adfs and using SAML-Based Authentication every user had a single User Profile and were happy.
    when i integrated adfs 3.0 and sharepoint 2013 SP1 i found whoun a user logs into sharepoint by using trusted identity token issuer (adfs 3.0) they get redirected to a new profile which is totally different from their old Profile. what is the problem ?

    The problem is that SharePoint does not support Multilogon accounts. I asked for that here -

    If you're just moving to ADFS only, then you can migrate users with Convert-SPWebApplication -

  • Business roles for diffrent org positions

    Hi guys,
    I have an issue:
    I have an organization model:
    Org ABC-> Org A-> channel manager
                  -> Org B-> partner manager
    I assigned channel manager role to channal manager in org A but when i assign partner manager role in org B , it overwrites the channel manager role for org A also. In short the organization model is taking only one business role. What could be the issue?
    I have assigned the required PFCG roles to both the business roles.

    i hope you are assigning the Role to the Position cretaed in your org model.
    That is by navigating thru
    GO TO-DETAIL OBJECT-ENHANCED DETIAL DESCRIPTION-By creating new infotype for Business Role
    here one can assign the Business Role with the position.
    In case you are not assigning by above mentioned way. Try to do so. Hope this will help.

  • Authorizations & Business roles for ITSM

    Dears,
    i would like to ask whoever implemented an ITSM as a service desk for an IT organization, after setup the Organizational Structure (Organizational Model) and setup the Organizational Unit  (Sold To Part) and Org. Object (Support team).
    what is the best approach to give Authorizations & Business roles for :
    1) new employee joined the company as an End User (Requester).
    2) new employee joined the company as one of the IT Help desk (Dispatcher, Processor....etc.)

  • Issue regarding Business Role assignment

    I have a user Agent1 which is assigned to position POS_IC_AGENT in my org structure.
    In the infotype Business Role I have assigned IC_AGENT (standard) business role.
    IC_AGENT has PFCG role SAP_CRM_UIU_IC_AGENT assigned to it.
    But, when I run the application (for my user Agent1), only telephony buttons are visible on top, navigation bar and work area is empty (nothing is visible there)
    2.
    Now, when I open my user Agent1 in SU01 and assign PFCG role SAP_CRM_UIU_IC_AGENT.
    Now when I run the application everything is visible (telephony, navigation bar and workarea).
    Why is it not visible in first case?
    I think it should work without assigning Role in SU01.. I mean it should have taken settings from Org. structure

    Hi Ashish,
    As far as work center page context is concerned , its decided by the navigation bar profile and business role customizations ( we add work center home and several related stuff etc in navigation bar profile and make them activate/deactivate, visible/invisible through business role customizing ) .
    PFCG role has nothing to do with what you see on the Work Center...it decides whether you can see or not..meaning whether you have authorization for disply of a business object and its related subobjects.
    PFCG role basically determines the authorization objects that will be grated to the particular business role ( to which this PFCG role is linked ) PFCG is about CREATE/CHANGE/DELETE authorizations.
    In first case, its business role linked authorizations. You dont see the work centers may be because USER has not granted the DISPLAY authorization for the business Object related to BP( i.e Account ) , or BO related to account search (BUPASEARCH ) as the IC agent home basically has Account identification home , or account search home...which overrides the PFCG authorizations attached to the business role.
    Remember, individual object authorizations set for a user using transaction PFCG will have more priority over the Business role linked authorizations as 1 business role can be assigned to many users however if one user is not grated to see BP related data, this will still remain enforced even though the business Role PFCG is granting him to see...There is a difference between user specific authorizations and Business Role specific authorization...
    In second case,its user linked Authorizations. When you add the PFCG role in SU01, this is being the User Specific Authorizations which will always have the priority and thus granting the display.
    This is my basic understanding. I am 100% sure that PFCG role only controls the DISPLAY/CREATE/CHANGE related authorizations and lots more in context of authorizations. However what to include & show is decided by Navigation Profile and Business Role customizations.
    If everything is intact in navigation bar profile and business role customizations, and still you dont see anything on the work center, then i am 100% sure that its related to User Authorizations
    Refer pg 56 in CR580, it will clear your doubt.
