Template error while copying page from another application

I am copying a page from one application to another within the same workspace. The page I am copying has several customized template that it uses. When I copy the page to the other application all goes well until I get to the step of assigning the Templates. Instead of seeing the list of templates used and being able to change them for the new page to match with the page i am copying, i get an error in the Templates area that says:
report error:
ORA-06502: PL/SQL: numeric or value error: character string buffer too small
Anyone else run into this? Is this because of the number of templates? I have added several new customized templates. The pages all work ok, its just when i am trying to copy a page from one application to another.

I'm seeing this behavior as well, but in the Authorization Schemes & LOV sections of the copy. I can continue with the page copy, but the LOV & Scheme information is lost and needs to be manually re-entered. Would love to get a fix for this!

I already had this error in Portal 9.0.4.

Hi Christian!
I already opened a TAR. As (according to the Portal docs) exporting Portal applications to future versions is not supported, waiting for another Portal release would mean starting our applications from the scratch. For this reason, bugfixes in future releases are of no really use in our case, and we definitely HAVE to find a solution for this quite crucial problem.

Pages, yes. On the Page Definition page, use the Copy button and follow the wizard.

How AWT TextField can copy/paste from another application?

We know in applet for the security reason you can not access the getSystemClipboard from the Swing component like JTextField. But We know that with AWT TextField, you can copy and paste from another application. My question is how AWT textfield implemented with this feature. I don't think it is via the systemclipboard. Can some explain this for me?

the simplest way is to select the part of charactors and drag them into your textfield ^O^

We are getting this error when try to create Activity from Account application in PCUI. But the same thing is working fine in at GUI level & actions profile assigned to Activity transaction is also working fine at GUI level. But in PCUIit is throwing this below error.

You have attempted to create a follow-up transaction for an incorrect transction 2000764. This is not possible. You can only create follow-up transactions for error-free transactions.
System Response
The follow-up transaction is not created.
Procedure
Correct the errors in the source transaction 2000764. The error messages resulting from processing the error can be read in the application log in the source transaction.

Error while running page from Jdeveloper

Hi,
I have downloaded the Jdeveloper 10.1.3 with OA Extensions from the Patch 5856648.
I did the initial Jdeveloper setup mentioned in the Developer Guide "Setting Up Your Development Environment" chapter.
I am now trying to run the HelloWorldPG.xml.
It is giving me the following error:

Application: APPS_HTML has been stopped.
Please let me know what is the issue.

I am trying to copy queries from Infoset to DSO in BI 7.0.
Message displayed after entering the data target names in Source Infocube (Infoset) & Target Infocube (DSO).
: Errors when reading InfoObjects for InfoCube (Infoset).
My Infoset has 2 queries.
I need to copy only one query to the DSO which is part of the infoset. How can we achieve this.

who said the target is different.
The target is different in the sense, source is an Infoset & Target is an DSO.
This DSO is a part of the above Infoset.
RSZC works here but its giving errors as mentioned above.
Regenerate in the sense, u mean i need to create the same again on DSO.
Is there any other way.
If providing some solution, let it be clear.

Here i want to change sales area of being created sales area.

How can i control this ??...Where and what change should i made in copy control to achieve this ?

My requirement in simple that i want to create a contract with reference to another contract but in different sales area. My customer will be remain same. So it does not relevant whether i use routine 001 or 002.
I had tried to create with both routine but i am not getting succeed. I had also removed below mention code from routine and tried but not succeed.

Copying & pasting from another application

When I was using Dreamweaver CS3, I had no problems copying
and pasting content from a word document, everything came over even
the links... now every time I copy and paste from Word to
Dreamweaver CS4, I get an error message "error occured while
processing input" - why does this happen and how can I get all the
content to copy over properly including links? This also happens
when I copy and paste from an email note and it didn't with CS3.
Also, I find it more diffucult to put in background images
into table cells, center text.. etc.. I do not like the new methods
of formatting documents.. CS3 was much better. I have been using
Dreamweaver since the beginning, over 10 years ago and this is the
worst upgrade ever.

I have Office 2002.. I never had this issue when I used CS3
of Dreamweaver. This just doesn't happen with word, even when I
copy and paste from an email into CS4, I get the same error message
(it doesn't crash). It just says 'error occured while processing
input'. I click on ok and the text comes in but none of the
formatting (links etc). This is rather annoying. I'd go back to cs3
if cs4 hadn't cost so much.
When I used to add a background image in cs3, in the
properties window there is a place to add background image in a
table.. this feature is not present in the properties window of
cs4.
Another issue is something simple like centering text.. now I
have to create css to even center text!

Error while copying PIR from original plan

one requirment plan is there in system ,say X - Ver 00 (Product P1,P2,......P8 Demand is there of 10 ea for each product for 07/2007.)
I am using MD61, now I want to copy the same plan to another requirement plan Y (for 08/2007)
MD61 -> Entered req. plan no. as Y ver as 01 , References button on top left corner used , copy from original plan , in the dialogue box req. plan X entered , here system shows only P1 qty as 10 , for all other products from P2-P8 qty appears as blank. Select all & copy gives error.
No schedule lines exists for P2,.....P8.
Please explain.

Go to md61, select radio button -- req. plan no as --Y click on ref.
Copy from-Independent requirements-select-(green tick)-give req. plan no X (from where you want to copy all data)---select(green tick)
system will display old plan-select all-copysystem will disply p;lan which is copied from plan X-do the changes where you want. Save it.
Go to Md63-give req. plan no as Y--stystem will display the new plan

Copy information from another application

Hello Experts,
I'm facing some issue, and I've tried a lot of approachs and still without a answer.
There is two application, one of Sales and another of Production.
After planned the Sales, based in the volume of sales, we project the production applying another measures.
So, what I need is after planned Sales, copy the informations of volume, from Sales to Prodution, changing just one member, that is a master data.
I've tried to use script logic, LOOKUP (script below), and use BADI with this [document|http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/b0480970-894f-2d10-f9a5-d4b1160be203?QuickLink=index&overridelayout=true]. But the point is, that with this document, we start from the app source to the app destination, and what I'm looking for is the opposite.

if u put ur com.app.AppletTest file @ WEB-INF Directry, then this problem will solve easily.
you have to put applet package(com.app.AppletTest) @ WEB-INF Directry. Since
Applet is using by html, u have to keep applet with html file.
if applet class have interaction with other classes, u have to seperate all related class to applet to seperate package and put them @ WEB-INF folder.
