Template removal issues

I have editable regions that I have removed in my templates but they are still present in the pages that were created  from the templates how can I remove them in the pages??,

Normally, removing an editable region from a template would also remove it, and its contents, from your child pages. If this does not happen, then there is something wrong with the connection between the child page and the template. We would need to start by looking at the code on each. Also, if you make other changes to the template file are those changes propagated to the child pages as expected?

  • How to setup a template to issue SHA1 certs if I have a SHA256 chain

    Hi All
    Can any one tell me how to setup a template to issue SHA1 certs if I have a SHA256 chain. I looked at the templates and I didn’t see where it is specified?

    Certificate signature algorithm is CA-wide settings and independent from certificate templates. You have to configure your CA to use SHA1 signature:
    certutil -setreg ca\csp\cnghashalgorithm sha1
    net stop certsvc && net start certsvc

  • Slicers Removed from Template: "Removed Records: Slicer Cache from /xl/slicerCaches/slicerCache3.xml part (Slicer Cache)"

    Product: Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010
    I have created a template file with a data table, 2 pivot tables, and each of those 2 pivot tables has a pivotchart and 2 slicers.  I have some code that updates the pivot table ranges.  When that occurs the pivot tables, pivotcharts and slicers
    all update successfully.
    The problem comes after saving the .xlsm file.  Upon opening the file I receive a message saying "Excel found unreadable content in 'myTemplate.xlsm'. Do you want to recover the contents of this workbook? If you trus the source of this workbook,
    click Yes."
    I then get a list or removed records and the repair that was done.
    Removed Records: Slicer Cache from /xl/slicerCaches/slicerCache3.xml part (Slicer Cache)
    Removed Records: Slicer Cache from /xl/slicerCaches/slicerCache4.xml part (Slicer Cache)
    Removed Records: Slicers from /xl/slicers/slicer2.xml part (Slicer)
    Removed Records: Drawing from /xl/drawings/drawing4.xml part (Drawing shape)
    Repaired Records: Named range from /xl/workbook.xml part (Workbook)
    Most of the file is OK with the exception of my last worksheet.  The pivot table and chart get updated, but the slicers are gone.  Any idea why this is happening?  Can something be done to prevent this?
    Thanks,
    Rich

    Hi Rich,
    Based on your description, my understanding is that slicers are removed after you get the error messages and repair it. You wonder to know why slicers are lost after repairing, it seems that the corrupted file caused the issue.
    Please try to update the  pivot table ranges manually without macros. According to my test, the slicers won’t be lost without macros. Please test this method in your own environment. If it
    works fine after disable macros, please check your code.
    If my understanding is incorrect, could you upload a sample via OneDrive and be at bit more precise explain your problem, so that we can get more accurate solutions to this problem. I am glad to help and forward to your reply.
    Hope it’s helpful.

  • Template member function of a class template specialisation issue

    The following bit of code from gmock (http://code.google.com/p/googlemock/) caused CC 5.9 ( and Studio Express) to emit:
    "./include/gmock/gmock-printers.h", line 418: Error: static testing::internal::TuplePrefixPrinter<testing::internal::N>::PrintPrefixTo<testing::internal::TuplePrefixPrinter<testing::internal::N>::Tuple>(const testing::internal::TuplePrefixPrinter<testing::internal::N>::Tuple&, std::ostream *) already had a body defined.
    Code:
    template <size_t N>
    struct TuplePrefixPrinter {
    // Prints the first N fields of a tuple.
    template <typename Tuple>
    static void PrintPrefixTo(const Tuple& t, ::std::ostream* os) {
    TuplePrefixPrinter<N - 1>::PrintPrefixTo(t, os);
    *os << ", ";
    UniversalPrinter<typename ::std::tr1::tuple_element<N - 1, Tuple>::type>
    ::Print(::std::tr1::get<N - 1>(t), os);
    // Tersely prints the first N fields of a tuple to a string vector,
    // one element for each field.
    template <typename Tuple>
    static void TersePrintPrefixToStrings(const Tuple& t, Strings* strings) {
    TuplePrefixPrinter<N - 1>::TersePrintPrefixToStrings(t, strings);
    ::std::stringstream ss;
    UniversalTersePrint(::std::tr1::get<N - 1>(t), &ss);
    strings->push_back(ss.str());
    template <>
    template <typename Tuple>
    void TuplePrefixPrinter<1>::PrintPrefixTo(const Tuple& t, ::std::ostream* os) {
    UniversalPrinter<typename ::std::tr1::tuple_element<0, Tuple>::type>::
    Print(::std::tr1::get<0>(t), os);
    Removing the inline definition of TuplePrefixPrinter from the class and adding it after the specialisation fixed the issue.

  • Name of the predefined style in the template removed in the output-RTF

    When using predefined named styles in an RTF-input-template, these get removed from the resulting output-document.
    * Create a BI-Publisher -project and use an rtf-file with a predefined style (you can define one on the fly by changing the default style and call it eg. "MyStyle")
    * Type in some text in the template-rtf marking it with "MyStyle"-style
    * Save your template, add a dummy dataset and then view it as rtf-output
    * The Name of the predefined style is not in the style-list of the output-rtf anymore.
    Basically, BI-Publisher seems to remove the names of the styles in the list of the rtf and thus making it impossible to work consistently with styles afterwards for people wanting to modify the resulting rtf using a in-house-style .
    Does anyone know a workaround for this ?
    Thanks,
    Peter

    Hi,
    According to your requirement there is no such standard SAP report.
    Develop a custom Z-report using LDB PNP in Tcode SE38.
    Hope this helps.

  • Live text template render issue when using Media Encoder?

    I'm running into flash frames with Media Encoder exports of Premiere sequences using the live text templates.
    Unfortunately, AME doesn't flag it as an error, so the render completes without any issues in the render log and the only way to find it is to watch the rendered file.
    I have tried different combinations of having After Effects open or closed, with the live text template comp open or closed; I can't consistently reproduce the problem with any certainty and so am having trouble pinpointing the source.
    My only hypotheses so far are that:
    The glitches seem to be happening in the dynamic link between AME and PP, not AE and PP. The live text will pop back to the duplicated comp's text for one frame. Video playing simultaneously doesn't pop.
    In other words, the AE text template said: "name here". In PP it was edited to say "John Doe", then that comp was duplicated and edited to say "Bob Smith". Everything looks fine in PP. There are no keys on the source text in AE (I have noticed that if there are keys on the source text in AE, the text will pop back to the original AE text at that key in PP).
    When rendered out of AME, halfway through Bob Smith's title, it will read "John Doe" for a single frame, then pop back to being Bob.
    I've only had this happen so far with AME renders. The renders out of PP haven't given me any issues so far.
    It might happen more frequently on longer segments? If a title is up for 45 sec instead of 10 sec, it may be more likely to pop.
    The issue seems to occur more often in batch renders out of AME (happened to 3 of 5 files rendered in a batch, AME 2014.1) and/or with unrelated AE comps open (on a single render from AME 2014.2)
    Again, it doesn't happen every time or to the same title, or in the same spot. Files are being rendered to ProRes 422 HQ. Unchecked "Use Previews" in AME.
    Would be nice to get to the bottom of what's happening so I can recommend something to the editors when I hand off these live text templates to them.
    I realize that the live text is a new feature as of 2014.1, but haven't found anyone else talking about this. Would love if this was a very simple fix that I'm missing.
    I was able to reproduce the error on 2 different machines, with similar specs:
    Premiere CC 2014.1 and 2014.2
    Media Encoder CC 2014.1 and 2014.2
    Mac tower 2010

  • Missing template/layout issues post-content migration

    We are attempting a migration of data and content from 6.3 to 6.2 (for SAP EL integration) and we are seeing two issues.  About 1/3 of the meetings display a node with the message: "The template you are looking at is the one we use if the default template feature is not working", another 1/3 show a blank meeting board and have no available layouts, and the remaining 1/3 work fine.
    We are still trying to determine if this might be a versioning issue by examining creation/mod dates of the meetings and underlying templates but have yet to find a discernable pattern.  Note, all meetings function without issue in the 6.3 system.
    My next stop is hunting for DB discrepencies...
    Any help appreciated,
    Lee

    Does anyone know where/how the file system path to content is configured?  I have looked through the DB and App file dir with no luck.  The (target) lab system I am using was installed with a non-default path (D:/AdobeConnect/breeze...) and the (source) migrated content came from a system with a default path (D:/breeze...).  When attempting to access the content library, the object display window just times out.  I have verified the content does exist in file system and is uncorrupted.
    Any help appreciated,

  • ADF migration from 11.1.1.1.0 to 11.1.1.2.0 : template management issue

    Hello,
    I'm trying to migrate my applications from ADF 11.1.1.1 to ADF 11.1.1.2. One of these apps is based on a page template, and doesn't work anymore.

    Hello Frank,
    If I remove the "Comments" data, the table content displays correctly. However, when I try to scroll the table, after the 25 base range rows, the table refresh and goes back to first row, giving following error :

  • Office 2010 removal issues & SCCM

    We are upgrading from Office 2010 to Office 365, and am using SCCM 2012 r2 to automate the install.  So Office 365 will not remove the previous version of Office, so I have imported the following into SCCM to remove it.
    setup.exe /uninstall ProPlus /config ".\ProPlus.WW\SilentUninstall.xml"
    With the following being the SilentUninstall.xml File.
    <Configuration Product="ProPlus">
    <Display Level="none" CompletionNotice="no" SuppressModal="yes" AcceptEula="yes" />
    <Setting Id="SETUP_REBOOT" Value="NEVER" />

    And the xml and command line work, however I am currently testing what would happen if the install were to kick off if the user still has any of the office programs open.  Having any of the Office applications open will not stop the install, however nor
    will it forcefully close any of the applications.  It keeps the apps open, but the applications, become sluggish and unusable, which I fear my confuse some of my users.  SCCM natively cannot prevent the install if these applications are open, nor
    can it force them closed.  Is there anything I can add to the command line or the XML File that would force close any of the open applications?

    Hi,
    Just tested it, having any Office applications open will not block the uninstall action. User can still edit and save their documents with current Office before they close it.
    To my knowledge, we don't have such an element in the
    config.xml file which will force shut down any running applications.
    Maybe you can add some scripts to SCCM, and trigger it prior to the uninstall action to shut down any runing Office applications. I'm personally not familiar with this, if you need help on this, please try to post in our
    Script Center forum.

  • Template creation Issue

    Hi,
    We have normal a user account in OEM 12c and we grant the following privilege to that user. But the user is getting "You do not have sufficient access to perform this operation" when we apply monitoring the template..

    Please help me to fix this issue and thanks in advance.

    Hi,
    to allow a user in Enterprise Manager to perform a specific activity, you usually need to grant a combination of resource and target privileges. In this case, I would try the following privileges:
    Target Privilege:          Manage Target Metrics (also included in "Operator" and "Full" target privilege)
    Resource Privilege:      View Monitoring Template (also included in "Full Monitoring Template")
    If your target is member of one Administration Group and included in the automated monitoring template synchronization process, you could also get error Messages, if you try to apply a Monitoring template manually.
    Kind regards
    Tom

  • Template Size Issues

    I have been having many issues with templates. I make a
    template and it appears so different in different browsers, then I
    have pages that are nearly identical and some of the fixed
    templatre areas are huge and some are tiny.
    Is there any way to lock down some parts of the template so
    they can't change size in browsers?
    Or, how can I lock down the size of a table?
    See my problem here, same template, different size buttons at
    top.

  • VMware to Hyper-V template conversion issue for Windows Server 2008 template

    Hello,
    I am attempting to convert a Windows server 2k8 template from VMware to Hyper-V. The hosts are Cisco UCS B200 M3 blades running Win2k12 and ESX 5.5 respectively. The template boots successfully in VMware and runs through its post install process without
    any issues. When I convert the template to Hyper-V the guest will display the windows splash screen and then I get the error "windows setup could not configure windows to run on this computers hardware”. I attempted to force the OOBE process
    by running msoobe.exe from the CLI but got the same error on restart.
    The particularly strange thing is that if I boot the syspreped guest in VMware, interrupt the post install process, shutdown the guest, then convert to Hyper-V the guest will boot successfully in Hyper-V. At this point I uninstall the VMware tools, install
    the windows virtual guest services, and re-sysprep the guest. Sadly the result is the same, on boot I get "windows setup could not configure windows to run on this computers hardware”. I found http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2466753/en-us but
    it references Win2k8R2 specifically. Does anyone have any ideas on how this issue could be manifesting itself
    in Win2k8?
    As an aside I was able to successfully convert a Win2k8R2 template successfully using the same process, any input on this issue would be greatly appreciated!

    Hi Toll_Hou5e,
    As far as I know there don’t have the KB or article mention we can convert the VMware template image to VHD, you can use the MVMC for the virtual machine convert.
    I don’t familiar with VMware template but base on my experience, the VMware View Connection template can execute the Windows template image sysprep program, VMware may configured
    some system option, you can ask your software vendor for the further help.

  • Journal Entry Template - Remove Parameters

    Hello,
    Is there a way to remove or hide the "Auto Reverse" checkbox in the Journal entry template? Can this be done through the appset/application parameters?
    Also, is it possible to have "Reopen journal in the next period" unchecked by default?
    Any suggestions / ideas would be appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Nikunj

    I don't think this is possible, at least on BPC 5.1
    Customizing the journal template in this manner isn't officially supported. The only supported customization is of the placement of dimensions on the header & detail, and the other items you see in the admin console's journal wizard.
    I've heard of some consultants who managed to work around these limitations, and make some unsupported customizations to the journal template XLT file behind the scenes. But there are some risks involved, and I wouldn't recommend it unless you're absolutely certain of what you're doing. Even then, with a version upgrade you may find that your customizations get destroyed.
    However, given the nature of the changes you want to make -- just changing the default values of the checkbox selections -- it seems pretty low risk, at first glance.
