TestStand 4.2: error occurred calling 'LogResults' in 'ITSDBLog' of 'zNI TestStand Database'

Can anyone explain what could possibly be causing this to occur randomly?

Usually I see that error when I try to log a step in a model or engine callback.  Some of the callbacks that are already in the model have logging turned off for the sequence but if you create your own callbacks then you may need to turn that off for them or just don't have any steps log data when clients override.
Hope this helps,

    A test rig that worked fine started thowing the floowing error for me.
    See screen capature.
    Problem doesn't appear on the development PC.
    The code that I'm using is using the default settings for logging to the access database that ships with TS. All worked fine for a few weeks now it keeps ... breaking.
    An error occurred calling 'LogMultipleResults' in 'ITSDBLog' of 'zNI TestStand Database Logging'
    An error occurred executing a statement.
    Statement: STEP_RESULT.
    Description: The changes you requested to the table were not successful because they would create duplicate values in the index, primary key, or relationship. Change the data in the field or fields that contain duplicate data, remove the index, or redefine the index to permit duplicate entries and try again.

    Hello,
    As far as I remember the DB size was approx ~ 1.5 GB, I don't have access to that test station till Wednesday so I'll double check but it could be as simple as exceeding the DB size, I'll verify that when I'm on-site again.
    To answer a few questions from Scott:
    1) I'm using TestStand 2012 ( as it came with the installation disks shipped in the first quarter of this year ).
    The test station is offline so no updates have been applied since the install.
    2) I'm using the default NI Schema and an Access DB. ( No modifications have been made )
    3) I'm using the On-The-Fly feature logging feature both to ATML and the DB.
    ATML works with no issues, DB used to work fine until it refused.
    4) Fails every time when I start the sequence, disabling logging to the Database sorts the issue out.
    5) I originally used the BatchUUT.seq example that ships with test stand.
    I have developed a test that has three test sockets that have a common Initialize, Run Tests in parralel and have a sequence of common test steps.
    Scott:
    The issue you've sent speaks of UUIDCreate; I'm gettin issues with the STEP_RESULT .... I think these things are not related.
    Secondly I'm suing TS 2012 so a fix should have been propagated to my version.
    So to answer your question I'm using multiple processes on one computer.
    I will emphasize that everything worked fine up to a certain point ... so I'm guessing Doug might be right on the money with the fact that I've chosen a misfortunate Database ( Access ) for the job.

  • An error occurred calling 'LogResults' in 'ITSDBLog' of 'DBLog 1.0 Type Library'

    HI,
    I'm getting this run-time error:
    Details: An error occurred calling 'LogResults' in 'ITSDBLog' of 'DBLog 1.0 Type Library'
    An error occurred executing a statement.
    Schema: ATE_database_multiplePC.
    Statement: STEP_RESULT.
    Unknown variable or property name 'TS_LoggingTemplate'.
    Error accessing item 'Locals.TS_LoggingTemplate.ExecutionOrder'.
    Source: TSDBLog
    Error Code: -17306; Unknown variable or property name.
    Location: Step 'Log Results to Database' of sequence 'Log To Database' in 'Database.seq'
    What does it mean?
    How to resolve this?
    I can't fine the property 'TS_LoggingTemplate'...where does TS looking for it?
    It seems as if TS is looking for local called 'Locals.TS
    _LoggingTemplate.ExecutionOrder'. In what sequence? I couldn't find it in my sequence or Databse.seq or SequentialModel.seq
    Thanks
    Rafi
    TestStand 3.0

    Rafi -
    Locals.TS_LoggingTemplate is a temporary variable that the On-The-Fly feature of the Database Logging component creates to manage state while attempting to log results as it goes.
    I assume that you are using a custom schema and that you are attempt to log on the fly. It appears that the custom schema definition is confusing the database logging component in a way that we did not expect, so the error message is not very clear.
    In general if you are developing a custom schema, you should test the schema with On-The-Fly off first, get it working and then turn it back on.
    Questions:
    1) If you turn off On-The-Fly logging, do results log properly?
    2) Can you post your TestStandDatabaseOptions.ini in the TestStand config directory.

  • Error occurred while processing SAP SQL Tools for SQLServer (Database Copy)

    Hello,
    We are currently running ERP 6 EP4 support stacks 6. Two weeks ago we
    refreshed our sandbox from QAS system and installed support stack 9 for
    testing. Kernel was also upgraded from sp69 to sp137 as a part of the
    support pack installation.
    This week, I was asked to do another refresh of sandbox from the QAS system. As the
    kernel was upgraded before to sp139, I copied back the previous kernel
    file sp69 to the kernel folder and started refresh process as usual.
    When I was running SAP for SQL, it ran successfully thorugh all the
    steps but failed in the final steps with the following error logs:

    *Uninstalled and reinstalled both 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Microsoft SQL Server Compact 3.5 Service Pack
    * Verified any existing .sdf is deleted
    *Verified directory that .sdf is supposed to be written to is writable (I do see the .opensdf when it tries to create the sdf)
    *Ran a repair of visual studio
    *Uninstalled completely VS and Sql Server then reinstalled it.
    None of this fixes the problem for me?   Please help.

    Hi,
    I have solved the issue as below:
    This error was started when I install a software which I have made myself and it uses sql server compact edition 3.5.
    I saw when I manually replaced the sql related files from "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SQL Server Compact Edition\v3.5" with the files which  my software setup had "version 3.5.5386.0" then the error started. And if copy back the latest version 3.5.8080.0
    then it disappear. So use latest sql files in your software too.
    My software was replacing the the latest files with older version.

    Should I rewrite this as function returning index by collection or something ?You can use DBMS_SQL - but use the remote package and not the local one. This is a little bit more complex ito call interface than using a ref cursor, but is the very same thing on the server side. DBMS_SQL also provides a more comprehensive set of features than using the ref cursor interface.
    The main issue though is additional coding - as DBMS_SQL is a lower level interface (a lot closer to the real Oracle Call Interface/OCI):
    --// on remote database the procedure returns a DBMS_SQL cursor instead of a ref cursor
    SQL> create or replace procedure FooProc( cur in out number, deptID number ) is

  • Flash Builder 4.5 Data Services Wizard, setting up REST service call returns Internal Error Occurred

    Dear all -
    I am writing with the confidence that someone will be able to assist me.
    I am using the Flash Builder Data Services Wizard to access a Server that utilizes REST type calls and returns JSON objects. The server is a JETTY server and it apparantly already works and is returning JSON objects (see below for example). It is both HTTP and HTTPS enabled, and right now it has a cross-domain policy file that is wide open (insecure but its not a production server, it's internal).
    The crossdomain file looks like this:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <!DOCTYPE cross-domain-policy SYSTEM "http://www.macromedia.com/xml/dtds/cross-domain-policy.dtd">
    <cross-domain-policy>
       <allow-http-request-headers-from domain="*" headers="*" secure="false"   />
       <allow-access-from domain="*" to-ports="*" secure="false"/>
       <site-control permitted-cross-domain-policies="master-only" />
    </cross-domain-policy>
    The crossdomain file is in the jetty server's root directory and is browseable via HTTP and HTTPS (i.e. browsing to it returns the xml)
    Now before all of you say that using wizards sucks (generally) I thought I would utilize the FB Data Services Wizard as at least it would provide a template for which I could build additional code against, or replace and improve the code it produces.
    With that in mind, I browse to the URL of the Jetty Server with any web browser (for example, Google Chrome, Firefox or IE) with a URL like this (the URL is a little confidential at the moment, but the structure is the same)
    https://localhost:somePort/someKey/someUser/somePassword/someTask
    *somePort is the SSL port like 8443
    *someKey is a key to access the URL's set of services
    returns a JSON object as a string in the web browser and it appears like the following:
    {"result":success,"value":"whatEverTheValueShould"}
    Looks like the JSON string/object is valid.
    I went through the Flash Builder Data Services Wizard to set up HTTP access to this server. The information that I filled in is described below:
    Do you want to use a Base URL as a prefix for all operation URLs?
    YES
    Base URL:
    https://localhost:8443/someKey/
    Name                    : someTask
    Method                    : POST
    Content-Type: application/x-www-form-urlencoded
    URL                              : {someUser}/{somePassword}/someTask
    Service Name: SampleRestapi
    Services Package: services.SampleRestapi
    datatype objects: valueObjects:
    Completing the wizard, I run the Test Operation command. Remember, no authentication is needed to get a JSON string.
    It returns:
    InvocationTargetException: Unable to connect to the URL specified
    I am thinking - okay, but the URL IS browseable (as I originally was able to browse to it, as noted above).
    I continue to test the service by creating a Flex application that accepts a username and password in a form. when the form is submitted, the call to the service is invoked and an event handler returns the result. The code is below (with some minor changes to mask the actual source).
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>

    </s:Application>
    It's a simple application to be sure. When I run it , I get the following returned in the text area field txtAreaResults:
    An Internal Error Occured.
    Which is equivalent to the following JSON string being returned:
    {"success":false,"value":"An Internal Error Occured"}
    It appears that the call is being made, and that a JSON object is being returned... however it does not return the expected results?
    Again the URL constructed is the same:
    https://www.somedomain.com:somePort/someKey/someUser/somePassword/someTask
    So I am wondering what the issue could be:
    1) is it the fact that I am browsing the test application from an insecure (http://) web page containing the Flex application and it is accessing a service through https:// ?
    2) is the JSON string structurally correct? (it appears so).
    3) There is a certificate enabled for HTTPs. it does not match the test site I am using ( the cert is for www.somedomain.com but I am using localhost for testing). Would that be an issue? Google Chrome and IE just asks me to proceed anyway, which I say "yes".
    Any help or assistance on this would be appreciated.
    thanks
    Edward

    Hello everyone -
    Since I last posted an interesting update happened. I tested my  Flex application again, it is calling a Jetty Server that returns a JSON object, in different BROWSERS.  I disabled HTTPS for now, and the crossdomain.xml policy file is wide open for testing (ie. allowing every request to return data). So the app accessing the data using HTTP only. Browsers  -  IE, Opera, Firefox and Chrome. Each browser contained the SAME application, revision of the Flash Player (10.3.183.10 debugger for firefox, chrome, opera, safari PC; 11.0.1.129 consumer version in IE9,) take a look at the screen shot (safari not shown although the result was the same as IE and chrome)
    Note that Opera and Firefox returned successful values (i.e. successful JSON objects) using the same code generated from the Data Services Wizard. Chrome, IE and, Safari failed with an Internal error. So I am left wondering - WHY? Is it something with the Flash Player? the Browsers?  the Flex SDK? Any thoughts are appreciated. Again, the code is found in the original thread above.

    An internal error occurred while calling 'submitReport' API. (Error: ERR_WIS_30270)
    We get above mentioned error message at any point in WebI Rich Client.
    DataSource: Teradata 12.0 (Local machine)
    BO XI 3.1 Client installed on local machine
    Universe (Secured connection)
    WebI : desiging and creating in Standlone mode
    WebI client version : 12.1.0.882
    Many times above written error is thrown 2-3 times even when we click on OK button and lastly followed by new error message:-
    Unable to get the first page of the current report - Web Intelligence will switch to structure view (WIJ 20003).
    Flow: We create report based on locally saved universe. There are couple of scenarios for which error comes
    1) After successfully saving the report, reopen and refresh causes this error (1st error and 2nd)
    2) Droping a properly written variable on measure column, if done Ctrl + Z, report works sometimes (both or 2nd error message)
    3) Draging out the mesaure or dimension from report (only 2nd error)
    Report is simple and no other stuff except the cross tab table
    Even if we start with simply dropping the dimension and measures on report, 2nd error comes at any time.
    What we noticed is that if we do all desiging in structure mode and then run instead of in result mode, reports works for more time.

  • An internal error occured while calling 'processDPCommandsEx' API. (Error: ERR_WIS_30270)

    Hi ALL,
    I am facing a wierd issue while opening/refreshing/broadcasting a webi report.
    The error message scrnshot:
    This error is not throughout the reports, but for specific reports only, when checked the Bex query definition it works fine, but gives error for Webi reports.
    Recently we had upgrade of BO 4.0 SP7 patch 9.
    The reports are directly built on Bex queries, Bex queries contains simple Structures and few CKF's.
    Would be thankful for any help recieved in resolving the above issue.
    Regards,
    Jaywant Kulkarni.

    ( An internal error occurred while calling the 'processDPCommands' API. (ERR_WIS_30270) due to some scenarios.
    Scenario 1:
    Error occurs when try to refresh a migrated Web Intelligence report in InfoView, after entering a date or dates for prompts.
    Suggested Solution:
    Modify problematic report in Webi.
    Change the prompt definition to be a constant, run the report in Webi, and save it.
    Change the prompt definition back to prompt with required date definition. Make sure you are using the correct date format! (The report prompt should tell you what the format is supposed to be.) Re-run the report in Webi, and save it.
    Re-open the report in InfoView and refresh.
    Scenario 2:  Error occurs when trying to edit the properties of a Webi report containing merged dimensions.
    Suggested Solution:
    Remove the merged dimensions and then re-establish them.
    Scenario 3:  Error occurs when the InfoView report has been open and idle for a long time.
    Suggested Solution:
    This error can be an indication of a time-out, based on the server’s settings.  Make sure you save your work often.  You will need to close and re-open the report when you get this error, and you may have lost any unsaved changes.

  • Errors occurred during call of function module BUPR_EMPLO_DELETE

    when distributing employee data from (HCM) to (CRM) there is an error that appears in relation with the settings for the Business Parner:
    "Errors occurred during call of function module BUPR_EMPLO_DELETE
    Message no. R11335
    Diagnosis
    The business partner BAPIs were called up incorrectly. The indicator IV_X_SAVE was given differing settings when the modules were called.
    Within a LUW, the indicator must be consistently set or not set.
    System Response
    The indicator IV_X_SAVE should be set or not set once off. Up to COMMIT WORK the content of the field may not be changed, as problems will otherwise occur with the internal memory, thus leading to runtime errors."
    This prevents CRM to be updated with the changes. Kindly help me on the same.

    Hi Sai,
    This is too late to reply this post, but to let everyone know about the issue I am posting here.
    Start new UI session and put breakpoint at BUPR_EMPLO_DELETE and check parameter IV_X_SAVE everytime, till you get the error message. The parameter IV_X_SAVE should be same/consistent (either ' ' or 'X') in whole Logical Unit of Work. It should not change in between.
    I faced the same kind of problem and found that standard was passing IV_X_SAVE = ' ' and in our custom code we were passing IV_X_SAVE = 'X'. I changed it to IV_X_SAVE = ' ' and my problem got resolved.
    You can try the same. Please post the alternate solution if you find it.

  • Error occurred when processing Java programs (CRM ORDER READ is called)

    Hi,
      We are facing a problem while running a batch job.Its a batch job which reads order data from crm system by using crm order read and generates fur files on application server.
    But the problem is,  after executing or generating lets say 10000 records in file the batch job is automatically closed.
    When we tried to analyse it from SM37 we got the error message saying,
      " An error occurred while executing a Java program in the VM container"
    So what could be the reason of this problem.And what is the solution.
    Regards
    PG

    This is the error we get when we read Pricing condition or Variant Config from the ORDER.
    I think you are not  initalizing the order after you have the read the data.Pass the guid to ti_guis_to_init.
       call function 'CRM_ORDER_INITIALIZE'
          exporting
            it_guids_to_init = <>
          exceptions
            error_occurred   = 1
            others           = 2.
    This may solve the problem.

  • An error occurred when executing a REMOTE FUNCTION CALL.

    Dear all,
    We have two syetms called DXD and GRD , we have a remote enabled function module in the DXD system , when i am trying to call this Function module from
    GRD system it is going for the short dump, and giving the follwing error,
    <b>Error analysis
        An error occurred when executing a REMOTE FUNCTION CALL.
        It was logged under the name "RFC_NO_AUTHORITY"
        on the called page.</b>
    But i do have the access for the DXD system also, i am really struggling to solve this problem, if any lights are there to help me , i will be thank full for then,
    some body suggested for me that we need to maintain the Trusted system tables in the target system.
    Thanks & regards
    Satya.

    first u( user id ) have to get the Authorizations to use RFC ?
    object will be  like S_RFC or some thing like this.
    when u get this kind of error just call /NSU53 then u will come to know which Authorization Object is missing from ur User Profile.
