Textframe selection by name in CS6

I have written below code to select perticular textframe by passing name of the textframe in InDesign CS4 using VB script
page.TextFrames.Item("Main1").select
Its working fine in CS4 but I am using same code with CS6 that time it is giving an exception as:
"The requested member of the collection does not exist."
I don't want to loop through each and every frame present on the page and selecting perticular frame on its label match
please provide me the solution in CS6 to select textframes by its name/label.

@Crest-Raj – so, as you can see, there is no text frame by the name of "Main1". You either have to rename the text frame in the Layers Panel or do it by script.
Here a JavaScript(ExtendScript) snippet that works with the selected text frame:
app.selection[0].name = "Main1";
Close/re-open the Layers Panel and you'll see the updated name.
All the "names" in brackets are generic names InDesign will create, if you are creating a text frame.
For new empty text frames the generic name is: "<text frame>".
In the moment you insert contents, the generic name will change according to the contents.
If you try to get the "name" property of a text frame with a generic name, you'll get an empty String!
After re-naming the Text Frame in the Layers Panel or by scripting, the name will not change, if you add or delete contents.

Selection tool in Ill cs6

Somehow the selection tool in Ill cs6 lost its capabilities e.g. scaling, rotating, HELP??

Try Jacob's suggestion and if that doesn't work, then possibly you can try these:
1) Try a System restart,or
2) Cleaning the Illustrator's preferences. ( Please take a backup of the preferences before deleting them)

I have a sql report in apex where the report is in page 15 but also there are multiple reports in other pages from page 10 to page 15 but the item is located in page10 as i select the item in page10 all the reports must redirects to it based on the item selected

You know this makes little sense, right?
Ad-hoc reporting should be done at worst via Discoverer or a data warehouse solution, where the irrelevant fields can be hidden, foreign keys can bring code descriptions and everything can have nice names. More properly, it should be submitted to IT and they should determine how to produce the output the business requires. Letting users run queries directly against the database tables is almost always a bad idea. How does the user know if they want XPLV_BTCH_ID or not? They want to know details of sales made in a given period or how many widgets are in stock.That's what an IT department is for.

I have part understood your requirement and assumed the rest! Hence, I have used dba_role_privs in addition to the list of tables you used.
Also, I think your LEFT OUTER JOIN on sys.dba_users is incorrect. I think you are trying to get all users from USUARIOS table for which roles / privileges exist in the database. If that is what you want the following query should help out. If not change the LEFT keyword in the MAIN query (NOT the one in WITH clause) to RIGHT but the results might be unpredictable.
Note: Using ANSI standard keywords for JOIN allows you to use functions in the JOIN clause (such as UPPER(column name), which the Oracle propreitary notation does not allow and hence made you opt for the UNION option).

First, i have a button "browse"
which open a workbook.

the names of the sheets" which give me the name of the sheet in a combobox ,then i choose the sheet.

the column names " which give me the name of the columns of the table in a combobox .
When i select the name of the column a new sheet add named the

what i want is :
when i select again the same column a messagebox will
be shown "you have already select it "

Each time you select a value in the comobox , you could compare
each cell’s value with the value you just selected in the first row. If it is matched, then show the message box" you have already select it "

JDBC Problem: "select * from NAMES for update of FIRSTNAME"

I am using Oracle 8 and JDBC thin driver. Is there any reason
why when I try to use the statement:
"select * from NAMES for update of FIRSTNAME"
it does NOT work in JDBC?
However when I do the statement in SQL-Plus it works fine.
If anyone has used this statement with success, please let me
know that it actually works, so that I know there is something
wrong with me!
Any code snippets would be very helpful.
Could it be the thin driver?

I don't think this is correct. I have used select for update
with no problems. you can send a "set transaction control"
via sql, I believe, but you shouldn't need to do so...

In moduleTemplates > Menu > Default > container.html
The function call to set the selected nav menu iten does not have a parramater to set the class name :

So you can not pass a parramater to set the dynamicly generated class name of the "selected" li
So is the any other way to have the selected class name be "iAmSelected" for example.
I dont yet see any way to edit the system file where the function resides : CatalystScripts/Java_DynMenusSelectedCSS.js

Option-drag selection not working in CS6 layer panel

Thought I'd force myself to use CS6 on a new project. I want to select multiple objects using "Option-drag", in the Layer Panel, but it doesn't work as it does in CS5.
Is there a different shortcut for selecting multiple contiguous objects using the Layer Panel, in CS6? Of course, I mean "Select" not "highlight".

Ok so it has been omitted in CS 6 and I think the reason is is because of the change to the Layers panel function.
That is because you can now rename and object directky with the Layers Panel rather than use the Layer Options.
Whether this wa intentional or by accident I do not know but that is why I think it has been changed.
I would make a feature request to either return it to Option Drag or Or Option Click to select a contigous selection of objects.
I notice that many people use names for their paths on even modest ai files so I would think being able to name the objects and layers are a really important feature but so is the feature you referring to though I think Click-Option Click would be even better on rellly large complex Illustrations.

Crystal 2008 - Selected table names are blank or end in 1

I am creating a new report in Crystal 2008. I am connecting to a database using ODBC. The tables show up correctly in the available tables column of the Database Expert. Once I select a table the table shows up in the selected tables list as an icon only - no name or as an icon with a table name ending in 1. The table name that ends in 1 is not a duplicate.
Furthermore, in the field explorer the fields all show but I can not add any to the report.
Any ideas, this just started happening this week.

Which database you are reporting off?
You can try following workaround and create indirect ODBC connection.
Create a report using OLEDB connection and select Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC drivers and then create a report .
This will point to your existing ODBC connection through OLEDB provider.
For the tables name that are blank do you have hyphen '-' in their names?
As advised by Jayendra you can try with Service Pack 1for Crysatl Reports 2008.

Using a dialog window to select a name and directory to save the file

I have a problem with the FILE_SAVE_DIALOG method or better with the windows that will be shown.
Before I save a file (e.g. PDF file) on the presentation server (the PC), I want to open a dialog window to have the option to give another directory and file name, under which I will save the file.
Therefore I use the method CL_GUI_FRONTEND_SERVICES=>FILE_SAVE_DIALOG. I found many information about this FILE_SAVE_DIALOG in this forum, but these tips didn't satisfy me.
The main problem is the FILE_FILTER. How to use this filter (is it a STRING?) properly, when I want to have a list in the dialog window? Nothing worked till now.
I use ERP 2005 with JAVA 1.4.1-07.
