Just wonder why is the "change log" is grey out in Employee Master Data ?
How can I track the log in employee master data ?

Confirm that the superuser assign with pro license.
No additional authorization assign to the superuser.
Already created a new test company, created employee master data, try to update, and the "change log" still grey out.
Tried on China and US localization.
Is your side really work?

I am using the SAP Standard report for Sales Quotation and now my client needs a new requirement.
That is, for certain sales employee they need a manger and the manager name, email, mobile no from employee master data should be fetched.
I tried this way,
Assigned the Manager name in the OSLP, memo field and tried to equate the employee name in the OHEM table by using a parameter and tried to fetch the fields but i am not able to view any of the fields from the OHEM table.
How to fetch the fields from the OHEM table?

Changing the field properties (editabel/greyed out) dynamically?

I am developing an Adobe interactive form. My requirement is dynamically changing the filed properties based on the other field values/selections/inputs.
1) For example in the form, if user puts value_A in field_1, then, the field_2 should be greyed out.
2) If user puts value_B in field_3, then, system automatically populate the value_C in field_4 in order to let the user make easy- user friendly
3) If user puts value_D in field_5, then, only allowed value in field_6 is value_E, if by mistake user puts value_F in field_6, then, system should throw error message
Pls. let me know how to achive this DYNAMIC functionality in the FORM or do we need to handle from WEbDynPro ABAP side?

Everything you have mentioned is possible in the form itself. Just write the valid script at valid event of valid field.

How to check and delete the change logs for DSO

Hello All,
I have build a process chain that will delete the change logs for DSO prior to 7 days but when i executed it, the number of entries are still the same within DSO.
Then i tried deleting directly from "Environment" menu from DSO maintainance but does not work. Can anyone please explain how to resolve this issue or the proper process of deleting the change logs. Appreciated.

Some key figures are not being correctly reversed in the Change Log

Hi Experts,
I'm working with the BI 7 (SP 15) and I have created an ODS with Overwrite option (Record Mode equal to ' ') and a Cube receiving data from this ODS.
Whenever I have a change in one existing record in R/3 side (already previously loaded to BW), it comes perfectly to the ODS and overwrite the record in the Active Data. However, in the change log table, the before image record is not reversing all the key figures, there is one (Quant type) which is not working and it is being doubled in the cube. All the other key figures are Amount type and are working fine. PLease see below some examples of the Change Log behavior:
First time the record comes - Change log content:

Second time when the record changes the Date:

Also, I have a Counter in the transformation to the Cube which is a constant equal to 1, it is also being aggregated erroneously. I could create a routine to check the record mode coming, but I'm not sure it is the best solution.

Actually it is a generic extractor (customized) and the ODS active data is getting the delta records correctly. After I extract from R/3 and activate the ODS, the active table has correct results, but the change log table has the problem described before. All the fields comes from one single extractor.
The 0RECORDMODE that I mentioned is about the setting in the transformation to the ODS. You have the Technical rule group where you can set the 0RECORDMODE, in my case it is set to ' ' (blank) which means it will receive After-Images from the extractor (which I think is correct in my case). The most curious is that it is working for almost all key figures (all amount type), except for the Price Unit which is Quantity type.

My iphone 3gs won't allow me to enter my email password. The acct is all greyed out in the settings menu and now I can't get email. I restored the phone through iTunes and did a hard reboot but nothing helped!!

I changed the password on my Yahoo mail account and now the phone will not let me enter the new password. The mail account is greyed out in the settings menu.

Try deleting the account and set up a new one. Also make sure to not sync the phone with old email settings.

IPhone 4S: the Wi-fi is greyed out and the Bluetooth seems unable to initialize.

Several weeks ago, I got a replacement iPhone 4S due to an unrelated issue. Approximately six days after receiving it, I had the wi-fi start sporadically working (it could not stay connected to the wireless network). Within three hours of that, the wi-fi stopped working entirely. The wi-fi toggle was greyed out in the Settings app and I could not activate it. The bluetooth seemed to be unable to get going, either, although I at least saw a spinning "working" symbol instead of gray out. I tried the guidance provided in from the Apple Support site, including restoring, resetting, etc.
A week later (approximately four days ago), I went to an Apple store with the issue. They replaced the phone with another iPhone 4S. The wi-fi seemed to work. However, two days later (Monday, November 25), I observed that the wi-fi was no longer working. It was greyed out. The bluetooth seemed not to work either. I tried resetting it, clearing the network settings, and what not. It did not work it.
Today, I went to the Apple store at lunch time. After some standard troubleshooting, they got a new, replacement phone out for me. When that phone was set up (as a new phone), it wasn't able to connect to the Apple store's wireless. Once it was set up, we observed that the wi-fi was greyed out and could not be activated. The Apple store employee plugged it into a nearby laptop and did a factory reset. When that was done, the wi-fi seemed to work.
I got home roughly an hour ago. I have done little with the phone other than browse a few websites. As I was attempting to download some of the apps I no longer had (as I was *advised* not to restore from my old iPhone backup), the wi-fi disconnected. I went to investigate and it could no longer find any wireless networks. I tried to toggle the wi-fi. Once it was in the off position, it would not return to the on position.
I just completed a factory reset of the phone. As of right now (within 20 minutes of the restore), the wi-fi is still connected and functioning.
I'm already prepared to return to the Apple Store within the next four days because I'm expecting to the wi-fi to fail, again. Luckily, I got the extended AppleCare plan, but if I have to either return my phone to the Apple Store or do factory resets every day, this is not the phone I want.
Has anybody else had similar experiences? Is there an official justification for this, outside of "rumors" of iOS issues? Do I have a Sim Card problem? Or is this just a subtle suggestion from Apple that it's time to get a Windows phone?

It sounds very frustrating that you are unable to use wifi with your iPhone. I do have an article that I would like you to use in order to troubleshoot this, though it sounds as if you have already done some of the steps provided -

Specifically -
Resolution
Follow these steps to resolve the issue:
Restart your iOS device.
Make sure that airplane mode is off by tapping Settings > Airplane Mode.
Reset the network settings by tapping Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
This will reset all network settings, including Bluetooth pairing records, Wi-Fi passwords, VPN, and APN settings.
Make sure that your device is using the latest software. To do so, connect your device to your computer and check for updates in iTunes.
If you still can't turn Wi-Fi on, please contact Apple for support and service options.

This issue can be caused by the McAfee SiteAdvisor extension.
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

In iPhoto, the "publish" option is greyed out when attempting to upload to Facebook. Any suggestions on fixing this?

Basically when trying to upload pictures to Facebook through iPhoto, the publish option is greyed out. I've tried signing out and signing back in, changing the Facebook password, removing the cache, and just restarting the computer. Next thing I can think of is reinstalling the operating system. Can't change APN settings (greyed out)

Hi, I have been reading a lot about my problem on this forum and on other BB-forums. I hope someone can help me because the historic forum-answers were quite depressing. . . I bought my new BB Q10 - without a simcard - last week from a well known Dutch webshop. I inserted my Rabo Mobiel simcard that I used in my BB curve. With the BB Curve and this simcard I have been emailing and browsing the internet for 3 years without problems. I can call and text with the BBQ10 but I can't get the internet working. The APN settings were already filled on this BB Q10 - unfortunately not with the APN name from Rabo Mobiel. It says: portalmmm.nl which is probably 'pre-installed' by Blackberry Holland and it is one of the APN names of the KPN provider in Holland. I can change the "portalmmm.nl" into "Rabo" but then I need to set Verification Type to PAP and that is not possible. The Verification field is greyed out and I cannot change it. I tried many ways and even tried to access the escreen:// option (which I couldn't get working) . I made phonecalls to Rabo Mobiel (they say they didn't change anything and no, they use no username and password for APN, only Rabo as account name), to the webshop (no we don't know who installs our Blackberries) and KPN (they gave me the telephone number of Blackberry but I can't get any one on the phone there!). The webshop says: please return your phone. But I know the next BBq10 will probably have the same problem. So can someone - preferably a Blackberry Technician - help me? the SMTP was set on "none." I selected the server and now it seems to work. The thing is--- is that this seems to be a recurring thing with the SMTP server not staying selected. I deleted and reestablished my exchange account about a month ago because mail would not send (the button was not greyed) but the mail would not send. the same thing was the problem, the SMTP switching to none. Thanks for your help, at least now I know what is causing the problem. sure wish it would stop switching to "none".

How do we control what fields you need in the change log?

Some time ago in an unrelated problem solving activity I came across the configuration screens that controlled what (and if) you could log when changed.
I can not find the place now.
There should be a place in SPRO which allows me to configure that I do not want log of the change in sales orders. It also allows me to choose which fields within the sales orders should be logged. So I could choose (say) to have the logging of quantity changes to be turned off.
Was I dreaming? ... Can someone point me in the right direction?

I have a direction now:
1) Check in the SE11 to ensure that the field that I need the change log for is marked "Change Document" in the Data Element of the field.
2) Check the document object VERKBELEG (Sales Document) to ensure that the table is included in the configuration. Transaction SCDO.
I will experiment with this to find out if this can be done.
