The filtering system in Thunderbird does not continue to operate correcctly

Hello Support,
I've been having this problem for some time now on both XP systems operating Thunderbird mail. Every time I configure the filtering mail system for email it will work for a while and then it stops filtering and all my email is deliver into the inbox not the filter box. Once that happens I have to go back and reconfigure my filtering settings again, which is a pain. This has happen too often no solution so far on my part..

What version of Thunderbird are you using?
Message Filters work in the order listed, so the top one is deployed first.
Subsequent filters only work on emails remaining in the Inbox after the previous filter(s) have been run.
Does it work when manually run ?
either via Message Filters
or selecting the Inbox
Tools > Run filters on folder
Do you use 'Filter before Junk classification'
Give example of one of the Message Filters that stops working, perhaps the top level one.
state whether you used 'Match all of the following' or 'Match any of the following'

Amazon has it for $151.99, Ebay has a few copies that end up being about as expensive after international shipping and other fees, and I don't trust most of the other sites after reading reviews on them.   • The timekeeping system we use does not like HTML 5 so what is the latest version of Firefox that does not use HTML 5?

    We have been told by our timekeeping system provider that the latest versions of FireFox, Chrome and IE are not compatible with their websites at this time. I was told that it was because of the use of HTML 5 by the more recent versions of these web browsers. I need to download the most recent version of FireFox that does not use HTML 5. Can anyone tell me which version this would be?

    Unfortunately, HTML5 is a large specification with a lot of parts that has been implemented in pieces over the course of several years. It would be really helpful if your vendor could indicate what EXACTLY is not compatible and then it could be researched. Otherwise, you'd have to use trial and error. Either way, you would end up with an older browser that isn't safe to run on the internet. It could be time to consider other vendors...

  • HT204053 Since upgrade to the latest version of the iPad system, my iPad does not recognise the password for iCloud and won't let me access it to change it

    Since the last upgrade on the iPad system, I have not been able to log in with my password to iCloud.  I have changed my Apple ID and password to see if this would help but no it hasn't made any difference and every time I go into my emails the log in screen keeps popping up with the old username and the sign in it won't recognise.  Please could someone tell me in easy steps how to alter this?

    Hi Susie. If you don't remember the password to the apple id with which you have logged into icloud then you need to reset the password at iforgot.apple.com. Put in that old apple id and if you have access to that email you can have a link sent to it to reset your password. If you don't have access to it then you can choose to answer security questions. If you can't answer the security questions properly then you need to go to expresslane.apple.com and tollow the prompts for apple id issues/can't answer security questions and if you put in your contact information Apple will call you immediately and you can talk to someone who can help you reset that password.

  • When syncing apps, window says authorize this computer.  When I authorize it says computer already authoized.  Then the window reappears and sync does not continue.

    Deauthorizing won't delete anything, and all your purchased content is safe.  You will just have to reauthorize any of the other computers that get deauthorized along with your computers old machine id.
    To get your purchased content back on that computer, just use iTunes to redownload it (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519?viewlocale=en_US&locale=en_US).  Of course, music you ripped from CD or got from another source you'll need to copy those files back over.

  • I have recently replaced one of our computers and it is using Windows 7 as the operating system. Firefox does not seem to be able to size itself to different screen resolutions.

    The recommended resolution for the Windows and Microsoft programs is 1600 x 1200. Windows and the Microsoft Office suite programs appear in a workable resolution. However, Firefox is so small at this resolution that it is hard to work with. If I change the resolution to 1024 x 768, then I am able to use Firefox as in the past, however, the Microsoft Office Suite programs and other browsers are much too large to use.     The 192.168 prefix suggests that you are on a home network. It is possible you're internal IP address changed from 1 to 2 (or whatever). Buried in the db_1 folders is that folder you mentioned. I made a copy of it named localhost and then everything worked.

  • Every time the anouncement of 10 year Thunderbird appears; when i read one mail: Thunderbird "does not work anymore"

    My thunderbirdbox contains 2 mailboxes; they appear together on the screen the same time.
    I have this "construction" for several years without problems.
    Now, with the 10year celebration of Tunderbird, when i open Thunderbird , every time there is the announcement + questioning if i can volunteer ( I whish I could....). The message covers a part of my second box....
    When i want to read one of my mails, thunderbird stocks and above in the screen the message appears Thunderbird does not work anymore. There is a menu what i want to do and i choose : close the program. Afterwards i open Thunderbird again and i can do everything i want to do.... Strange it not it?

    I've had the Mail app misbehave from time to time. Not so much lately though. But when Mail misbehaved I quit the mail app like I describe here. After that I reset my iPad. Double click the Home button to show the screen with running and recently used apps. Each app icon will have a sample page above it. Flick up on the page (not the app icon) and the page will fly away and the app icon will disappear. This quits that app. The reset the iPad. Press and hold both the Home button and the Sleep/Wake button continuously until the Apple logo appears. Then release the button and let the device restart. You will not lose data doing this. It's like a computer reboot. Finally try the Mail app again.

    Changes made to system:  Updated bios (I think).
    Getting error messages (at system boot, as windows start, and from the intel hard drive controller) warning me to backup data and hard drive my fail.
    I replaced the harddrive and inserted the first of my 4 recovery DVDs (created before I updated the bios).  After booting from the first recovery disk I get the following message
    "hp the system recovery media does not support this computer. You are not able to restore this system with the media"
    The computer still boots with the old hard drive (with drive failure imminent messages)  I do see support assistant offering another bios update but I did not install it with the hard drive problem

    I think there could be two possible reason. wrong media or systemboard is changed.
    did you create any recovery media yourself or you ordered the recovery media from hp? also, was there any systemboard replacement done before?
    media created on some other computer (same model) may not work on your computer.

    also once systemboard is replaced you need to get the configuration settings done for BIOS(only HP can do it).

    Download only one application at a time.
    Click all downloading applications until they all say "Paused".  Then click one at a time, let it complete downloading, then click the next and repeat.

    I am trying to upgrade or rather downgrade from ipadvservices (inadvertently upgraded to) to ipservices on a stack of Cat-3750s, but I get the following error message:

    I was having the same issue even with entering the following:

    I noticed the image which was running on the switch was correct without the ".bin" at the end:

    I uploaded a fresh IOS image from CCO and made sure the image name had ".bin" at the end. Seems trivial except the error is produced through a sanity check. See below (please excuse the extra unplugging in the output):

  • System Recovery media does not support the computer. HELP!!!

    Ok problem here the recovery discs that were created do not work. And this is where I'm stuck.
    First the details. It's a DV7-6163CL Laptop with windows 7. The discs were created shortly after we got the computer. The reason we have to try and recover the computer is hard drive #1 failed and failed hard. Hard drive was replaced. Now after trying to use the recovery discs we get the error message after a few windows loading screens in Recovery Manger.
    "The system recovery media does not support this computer. You are not able to restore this computer with the media."
    Well Hp doesn't support his platform anymore due to its age.
    Is there anything I can do next to formatting the computer and getting a new OS?

    Many times this error is caused by missing info in BIOS. Can you enter BIOS-F10 at power on- and check for serial number,etc?
    Sometimes a new hdd requires prepping with Cyberlink Utility cd first. Download and Save the file. Once download is complete, put a blank cd in your drive and click the file to create a boot cd. Boot with this cd and wait until you get a green check mark indicating hdd is ready. Remove the cd , insert first Recovery Disk and restart the laptop.

    Hi Experts,
    I am getting error error while doing manged System configuration in Solman through solman_setup.In step 2 during prerequisite check I am getting error "Managed system SOL~JAVA does not fulfil the Diagnostics prerequisites" for java and abap too. In LMDB I checked the Host assigned to this technical system.Please refer screen shot for the entry. Please suggest where I am committing  mistake.

    During SLD preparation in System Preparation phase I had updated the CR/CIM of SLD but I committed a mistake that I applied the CR (From 8.x to 9.0) and then (From 9.x to 9.y) without doing it sequentially from (1.x to 2.0) then from (2.x to 3.0) and so on as per 669669. It didn't give any error.As of now it is showing CIM1.6.38 and CR 9.13. Is my current problem related to this?

    Do you mean through iCloud?  You need to go to settings > iCloud and "delete account" and then sign in with the newly named account.  You'll want to do similar for facetime, messages, and store.
