    hi, my firefox and safari are both having difficulty loading certain parts of web pages. previous to this my firefox would freeze and state that a script was not responding. i would stop the script and reload the page and everything would be fine. now though the pages just load very very slowly or load leaving out certain pictures and video content. i've tried clearing my cache's and cookies, resetting my browser etc, but it seems like its a system issue as both safari and firefox are having issues. i've run Avast to screen for malware and it came up empty. any suggestions?

  • Setting the source-interface in a tcl script for email.

    So once again I am trying to figure this out and failing miserably. The only thin I can think of at the moment is that I need to tell it to source from a specific vrf interface. I've tried looking through possible enviornment variables. Hoping I could set it that way but have yet to find one. I have read varios settings for source-interface and attempted them. But fail every time with:
    vpn_failure.tcl: smtp_send_email: error connecting to mail server:
    EEM Version:
    sho event manager version
    Embedded Event Manager Version 4.00
    Component Versions:
    eem: (rel4)1.0.4
    eem-gold: (rel1)1.0.2
    eem-call-home: (rel2)1.0.0
    Below is the stock format for sending the email from the script. If someone could guide me in the correct way to set this up to source the interface that would be awesome.

    I got this far, saw the MAXRUN error, bumped that out and then turned on debugging. I am still not connecting to the mail server. So I don't think I am reaching the mail server yet. I don't think it is using the sourceinterface. In debugging everyting in the script works except for the mail portion.

  • Reading the Facility Callername from a tcl script

    I am looking for a way to read the Callingname in the facility message so that I can pass into
    set callInfo(displayInfo)
    Basically I'm trying to pass Callername to an ip phone through a TCL script on the gateway during callsetup. This normally gets dropped.
    Is there a way to parse these fields in the Facility message?
    Thanks ahead of time for any help.

  • Scripting to load all pdfs in a month into the place command?

    Hello, I was wondering if anyone knows of a script that allows for you to place all pdfs within a set date range from a folder into an InDesign document? I am looking to do my monthly report and each month I have to go out and get each one, would be nice to load the place tool with all the pdfs I have done with a set date range and then just place them accordingly. Is there something out there like this and/or am I missing something obvious?
    Thanks!
    B

    IM Sorry tomaxxi, am I suppose to be inputting something somewhere here in
    regard to the dates? I would need an example like for lets say the month of
    Nov. I try to paste this and save it in the script editor but it keep
    saying that the file cannot be saved. Any ideas? Please bear in mind your
    speaking to a guy who has like zero knowledge when it comes to scripts.
    Best regards,
    Robert

    Subject:    Scripting to load all pdfs in a month into the place command?
    Sorry for delay...
    I just tested script and it's working fine for me here.
    I created 4 sample PDF-s with just one page, then started script,
    selected exported PDF-s, script sorts them by creation date and loads
    placegun.
    So, all you need to do, is to start script and select documents you want to
    place.
    I changed script little, so make sure you use this one:
    if(app.documents.length != 0){
        var myFiles = File.openDialog("Select Files:", "*.pdf", true);
        if(myFiles != null){
            myFiles.sort(function ( a, b )
                    if ( a.created < b.created )
                        return -1;
                    if ( a.created > b.created )
                        return 1;
                    return 0;
            app.activeDocument.place(myFiles);
        }else{
            alert("No files selected!");
    }else{
        alert("No documents opened!");

  • "End of file breaks the statement" on "working" MaxL script

    Sorry, multipost accidentally. Look for post that is a question...
    Edited by: Kevin Cox on Dec 4, 2010 2:52 AM

    Different operating systems? Perhaps its not the maxl script but a parameter that gets passed in from the batch script? Certain things change such as the system time variable between operating systems. I remember that caught me out although I wasn't doing anything to do with essbase at the time.
    I'm 99% sure this error is generated from the maxl interpreter
    e.g. Just created test.mxl and all I put in there was the word login followed by a single unclosed quote and the followingf happen.

    Network Scenario:
    We have a Client-Server enterprise network, and nature of servers is to broadcast some stats/info to all the clients.
    We are using two 6509-E at core with HSRP to provide the redundancy for servers. I have attached the network layout (not the real one) with some description with this thread. On both switches we have configured “ip helper-addresses” to forward the broadcast to multiple destinations(different VLANs). Every thing is working fine with respect to HSRP.
    Problem:
    Under normal circumstances, both ACTIVE and STANDBY hsrp switches generates broadcast which causing duplication of every broadcast packet and Client end receiving every packet twice. Cisco already claimed that standby switch will forward the broadcast. As an alternate TAC has advised to use the TCL script as a work around which we attempted to however no success at the end.
    Please let me know if some one can help me in modifying TCL script.

                  lappend clicmd "no ip helper-address $dhcp_server"
    set cliout [CLICfgProc $clicmd]
    action_syslog msg "Updating the configuration of interface $interface"

    Try this version.  You will need to first set an environment variable, dhcp_servers to be a comma separated list of IP addresses (i.e. the helper addresses) to configure/unconfigure.  For example:
    event manager environment dhcp_servers 192.168.10.255,192.168.12.255,192.168.14.255

  • Looping through SQL statements in shell script

    Hello members,
    I'm working on the Solaris environment and the DB i'm using is Oracle 10g. Skeleton of what I'm attempting;
    Write a ksh script to perform the following. I have no idea how to include my sql query within a shell script and loop through the statements. Have therefore given a jist of what I'm attempting, below.
    1. Copy file to be processed (one file at a time, from a list of 10 files in the folder ).
    for i in *
               do
               cp $i /home/temp[/CODE]2 . Create a snapshot(n) table : Initialize n = 1 -- -- To create my snapshot table and inserts records in SQL
    create table test insert account_no, balance from records_all;3. Checking if the table has been created successfully:
    select count(*) from snapshot1 -- query out the number of records in the table -- always fixed, say at 400000
    if( select count(*) from snapshot(n) = 400000 )
    echo " table creation successful.. proceed to the next step "
    else
    echo " problem creating table, exiting the script .. "  4. If table creation is successful,
    echo " select max(value) from results_all " -- printing the max value to console
    5. Process my files using the following jobs:
    ./runscript.ksh - READ -i $m ( m - initial value 001 )
    ./runscript.ksh - WRITE -i $m ( m - initial value 001 -- same as READ process_id )
    -- increment m by 1
    6. Wait for success log
    tail -f log($m)* | -egrep "^SUCCESS"7. looping to step1 to :
    Copy file 2 to temp folder;
    create snapshot(n+1) table
    Exit when all the files have been copied for processing.
    done -- End of Step 1
    Pointers on getting me moving will be very valuable.
    thanks,
    Kris

    Hi,
    Are you inserting the data from file or from some table.
    If it is from file, I suggest sql loader would be better, I suppose.
    If it is from table, then something like this
    for i in *
               do
    sqlplus username/password@db_name<<EOF
                create table test select * account_no, balance from records_all;
    EOF
    exit
    doneAnurag

    In reference to this part of your config:
    If you are using a hunt group, you need the following param:
    param aa-hunt1
    I would also try using a loopback addres in your voip dial peer, rather than the H.323 physical IP addres of your router.
    here is the link with an example config:

  • EEM and TcL Script to Disable Inactive Ports

    I've browsed around to the other  support strings to make sure I didn't miss anything, but I can't seem to  get this to work.  I have the latest sl_suspend_ports.tcl and  tm_suspend_ports.tcl created by Joseph Clarke from strings that verified they worked as planned.   Here are the commands I issued to register the scripts -
    Directory of flash:/policies/
        9  -rwx        3101   May 3 2013 07:58:03 +00:00  sl_suspend_ports.tcl
       10  -rwx        4669   May 3 2013 07:58:44 +00:00  tm_suspend_ports.tcl
    conf t
    event manager directory user policy flash:/policies
    event manager policy sl_suspend_ports.tcl
    event manager environment suspend_ports_days 1
    event manager environment suspend_ports_config flash:/susp_ports.dat
    event manager policy tm_suspend_ports.tcl
    #show run | inc event manager environment
    event manager environment suspend_ports_days 1
    event manager environment suspend_ports_config flash:/susp_ports.dat
    It doesn't appear to work though.  Essentially, we have a  need to make sure all computers are always on and all ports not active  for >24 hours to be shutdown and moved to a designated vlan (I added  the 'lappend' statement to the script to specify the additional command of assigning the vlan)
    I'm running 12.2(55)SE7 on Catalyst 3560s and 3750s
    Is there a way to manually run the script?  Did I miss anything in the configuration?
    Thanks for your help!
    Chris

    SUCCESS!  AWESOME!
    I added one more line to the lappend statements to add a description with the time stamp, here's what happened -

    end
    So to recap for any future folks that stumble upon this thread and want to use this method.
    1. Create a TACACS service account or use a TACACS/RADIUS account that has a high enough privilege to edit the config.
    2. Create a "policies" directory on flash and copy the attached scripts to it.
    3. Register the scripts using the following commands -
    #conf t
    (config)#event manager directory user policy flash:/policies
    (config)#event manager policy sl_suspend_ports.tcl
    (config)#event manager environment suspend_ports_days 1    "<--Or the number of days inactive you choose"
    (config)#event manager environment suspend_ports_config flash:/susp_ports.dat
    (config)#event manager policy tm_suspend_ports.tcl
    (config)#event manager session cli username "svc.eemscript"  "<---The account you created to run in step 1"
    The output of "show event manager policy registered" should then show the following -
    #show event manager policy registered
    No.  Class     Type    Event Type          Trap  Time Registered           Secu  Name
    1    script    user    syslog              Off   Fri May 3 10:20:26 2013   2048  sl_suspend_ports.tcl
    pattern {LINEPROTO-5-UPDOWN}
    nice 0 queue-priority normal maxrun 600.000 scheduler rp_primary
    2    script    user    timer cron          Off   Tue May 14 05:25:42 2013  2048  tm_suspend_ports.tcl
    cron entry {0 0 * * *}
    nice 0 queue-priority normal maxrun 600.000 scheduler rp_primary
    NOTE: On lines 140-145 of the tm_suspend_ports.tcl file, you can edit the commands you want the script to execute to your liking.  I have it adding a description as seen in the above output and moving to an isolated non-routable VLAN of my network.
    Thanks Joe Clarke for the awesome script and assistance in getting it running!

  • IP SLA EEM/Tcl Scripts

    Hello Community,
    I have been testing a EEM/Tcl scripts for IP SLA. However, after testing I realised that the script didn't go far enough in identifying the link(s) that has actually gone down.
    I was wondering if someone knows any good EEM/Tcl scripts for IP SLA?
    Cheers
    Carlton

    What about it doesn't work?  Is the policy not triggering?  Is the IPSLA operation not transitioning state?

  • Looking for ACE Probe TCL script specific for LDAPS

    Hello Everyone,
    I have searched the forum, and i am having difficulty finding an example of how to modify the LDAP TCL probe from port 389 to secure LDAP port 636.
    Could someone kindly point me or provide me the modified TCL script if you happen to have it.
    During my search I also found a config that someone had provided, which contained the following probe:
    probe tcp LDAPS_Probe
      port 636
    probe tcp LDAP_Probe
      port 389
    I was trying to figure out if this a modified TCL script for LDAP or modifed TCP TCL script specific for port 636.
    This is how I applied the script for LDAP port 389.
    script file 1 LDAP_PROBE
    probe scripted LDAP_PROBE_389
    interval 5
    passdetect interval 30
    receive 5
    script LDAP_PROBE
    serverfarm host SF-LDAP-389
    description SF LDAP Port 389
    predictor leastconns
    probe LDAP_PROBE_389
    rserver LDAP-RS1-389
    inservice
    I will be more than glad to provide you any additional information that you need.
    As always thanks for your input.

    normally you would engage a TCL developer or ciso advanced services to develop a custom script for anything other than what Cisco provides in canned scripts. If you are comfortable with tcl you can do it yourself. Here is an example of the LDAP script modified to include initiation via ssl.  default port is 389 when you implement you would specify 636.
    #!name = LDAP_PROBE
    # Description:
    #    LDAP_PROBE opens a TCP connection to an LDAP server, sends a bind request. and
    #    determines whether the bind request succeeds.  LDAP_PROBE then closes the
    #    connection with a TCP RST.
    #    If a port is specified in the "probe scripted" configuration, the script probes
    #     each suspect on that port. If no port is specified, the default LDAP port 389
    #     is used.
    # Success:
    #   The script succeeds if the server returns a bind response indicating success
    #    (status code 0x0a0100) to the bind request.
    #   The script closes the TCP connection with a RST following a successful attempt.
    # Failure:
    #   The script fails due to timeout if the response is not returned.  This
    #    includes a failure to receive ARP resolution, a failure to create a TCP connection
    #    to the port, or a failure to return a response to the LDAP bind request.
    #   The script also fails if the server bind response does not indicate success.
    #    This specific error returns the 30002 error code.
    #   The script closes any attempted TCP connection, successful or not, with a RST.
    #  PLEASE NOTE:  This script expects the server LDAP bind response to specify length
    #   in ASN.1 short definite form.  Responses using other length forms (e.g., long
    #   definite length form) will require script modification to achieve success.
    # SCRIPT version: 1.0       April 1, 2008
    # Parameters:
    #   [DEBUG]
    #      username - user login name
    #      password - password
    #      DEBUG        - optional key word 'DEBUG'. default is off
    #         Do not enable this flag while multiple probe suspects are configured for this
    #         script.
    # Example config :
    #   probe scripted USE_LDAP_PROBE
    #         script LDAP_PROBE
    #   Values configured in the "probe scripted" configuration populate the
    #   scriptprobe_env array.  These may be accessed or manipulated if desired.

  • Simple tcl script in cucme

    Hi,
    I need a simple TCL script, that picks up the phone, plays a greeting message and then does DID further in without caller intervention. Currently I have 2811 with a BRI, the local telco sends only the last two digits that are a direct match to the extensions of the IP phones and I do DID.
    I analyzed b-acd-aa script, that is shipped with the CME, but in fact I do not need such a complex state machine with digit collection, hunt groups, etc.
    (http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucme/bacd/configuration/guide/cme40tcl.html)
    I believe I need something like:
    application
       service foo flash:foo.tcl
         param welcome-prompt foo.au
    dial-peer voice 10 pots
    service foo
    port 0/2/0
    incoming called [0-1].
    direct-inward-dial
    Please advise wether to build a new TCL script, or to try to provide all the necessary parameters to the existing scripts and try to make them work for what I need (e.g. drop-through, etc.)
    Any comments are welcome!
    Zzzz.

    You can use b-acd/aa in drop-through mode.
    if you are interested in acquirinf a num2name script that does it and much more, you can contact me at the address present in my profile.

  • Problem with signed tcl scripts

    Hi All,
    Im having some difficulties getting signed scripts to work on a router.
    Ive got openssl 0.9.8h installed on a FreeBSD 6.2 box, and following the documentation located below, word for word, I cant seem to get any scripts to run properly. The router just seems to continually fail to verify the digital signature.
    http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/ios/12_4t/netmgmt/configuration/guide/sign_tcl.html#wp1079441
    When trying to run a script I usually end up with the following error messages:
    Invalid Signature
    May 10 04:54:30.845: ../cert-c/source/p7spprt.c(614) : E_VERIFY_ASN_SIGNATURE : error verifying digital signature
    May 10 04:54:30.849: CRYPTO_PKI: status = 0x725(E_VERIFY_ASN_SIGNATURE : error verifying digital signature): pkcs7 verify data returned status
    May 10 04:54:30.849: CRYPTO_PKI: status = 0x725(E_VERIFY_ASN_SIGNATURE : error verifying digital signature): failed to verify
    May 10 04:54:30.849: CRYPTO_PKI: unlocked trustpoint scriptsigning, refcount is 0
    May 10 04:54:30.849: %SYS-6-SCRIPTING_TCL_INVALID_OR_MISSING_SIGNATURE: tcl signing validation failed on script signed with trustpoint name scriptsigning, cannot run the signed TCL script.
    But when I try signing the example script in the document mentioned above it seems to work fine:
    #tclsh flash:hello.tcl
    hello
    argc = 0
    argv =
    argv0 = flash:hello.tcl
    tcl_interactive = 0
    May 10 03:58:00.408: CRYPTO_PKI: self-signed cert within the pkcs7.

    May 10 03:58:00.408: CRYPTO_PKI: chain received from the peer has been reduced to one already trusted cert
    May 10 03:58:00.408: CRYPTO_PKI: validation path has 0 certs
    May 10 03:58:00.408: CRYPTO_PKI: unable to get cert attributesfor AAA list authorization.
    May 10 03:58:00.408: CRYPTO_PKI: chain cert was anchored to trustpoint scriptsigning, and chain validation result was: CRYPTO_VALID_CERT
    May 10 03:58:00.412: CRYPTO_PKI: Success on PKCS7 verify!
    May 10 03:58:00.412: CRYPTO_PKI: unlocked trustpoint scriptsigning, refcount is 0
    In both cases I used the exact same private key and CA certificate to sign both scripts.
    Does anyone have any clues, tips, or pointers for doing this successfully?
    Cheers,
    Tom

    I found your problem. The ORIGINAL script ended in a blank line. Therefore, you need TWO lines before the signature. I took the pkcs7 file you sent, your latest cert, and then added the signature to a clean btest.tcl with a trailing newline. The result worked perfectly.
    I'm attaching the signed btest.tcl along with the exact same cert and pkcs7 file you sent (I'm not attaching the private key for obvious reasons, but it is the same).
    All I did was take your pkcs7 file and:
    xxd -ps btest_sig.tcl.pk7 > btest.hex
    (I added a newline to the top of btest.hex, added the signature header, and commented each subsequent line)
    cat btest.tcl btest.hex > btest_sig.tcl
    I loaded your cert into my router, then loaded the signed script:
    Loading btest_sig.tcl from 14.32.100.33 (via FastEthernet0/0): !
    [OK - 5618 bytes]
    Bandwidth is 8434.
