The task 'Mload()Z' ...

Question

I keep getting these errors reported in my log file. I looked at the code & it has the following 2 lines
line # 1 : PURCHASE_INVESTOR.investorId = (Decimal)arg_investorid;
line #2 : boolean success = PURCHASE_INVESTOR.load();
investorId is a primary key in the table & i keep getting the error at line #2. There is no code between line#1 & line #2.
Exception thrown. fuego.lang.ComponentExecutionException: The task 'Mload()Z' in process 'fuego.sql.TableSQLObject' could not be successfully executed.+
Any insight???

Hi,
Suspect you've reached the same conclusion by now, but use a SELECT statement in this scenario. I use the "load()" method only when I've created a hier of the table (right mouse clicked the table -> selected "Create Hier") but don't use it for what you're doing.
It's handy in a BPM Object for an "hier" object because my inherited object has all the table's attributes and if I create a presentation for the BPM Object, I can use the identifier field's "On Change Invoke" property to populate the other fields.
I agree that it should work swimmingly. Would guess with enough effort (taking out the "_" character from your table's name might fix it) you're going to be able to get it to work, but suggest that you not use the load() method unless it is inside a BPM Object presentation if you can avoid it.
