There needs to be a place to file a complaint without having to post on the site.

Since I signed up in July of this year I have had nothing but problems with my bill. First they forgot to add my fios. After calling several times I was told the bill was in the mail. When I called back to see why I hadn't seen my bill (now September) I was told I couldn't be helped because I wasn't a fios customer. I was TRYING to be one. I had the boxes in my house. I simply wanted to PAY Verizon for service. A few weeks later I came home and my cable was turned off. My account had been canceled. After calling for days on end and sitting on the phone for an average of two hours a call it seemed no one had an idea what was going on. Finally  tech was sent to my home to fix what was an offline problem. The tech walks in with NO IDEA that I had boxes and thought he was here for a simple installation.
Today, I was trying to pay my bill online, like I do ever month, and found my account was no long available for online bill pay. Really, Verizon??? I just want to pay you, you're making it very hard.
I asked where I could send a complaint and was told there was really no where to do that. At this point I am more than frustrated with Verizon. Unfortunately, I have no other option in the building where I live.
It's now November and I'm still dealing with this.
I just want a place to file a complaint. I don't want to post on some forum. I don't want to talk to someone in a call center who just wants to get me off the phone. I don't want to chat with a virtual representative. I was to speak with someone at Verizon who can listen to my complaints...of which there are many at this point.

Almost all of the forums here are peer to peer.  Some verizon admins will occasionaly step in and try to get you help.  These admins are usually not able to solve problems for you themselves, but can sometimes give advise or get you in contact with someone who can.

    did you try to install Mavericks, or did you only download its installer without running it? Which version of OS X is currently installed on your MacBook Pro? Do you still have the two grey installation DVDs which originally came in the box with your MacBook Pro? Do you have backups of the files on your MacBook Pro from before you downloaded the Mavericks installer?

    You cannot put music onto your iPod without using iTunes, that what iTunes is for.
    It's also not a good idea to wipe the music from your computer and having it only on your iPod. We see countless posts here from people who have done just that - and then lost everything when the iPod needs a Restore. Even if you never need to Restore your iPod, what happens when you eventually replace the iPod? You'll be back here asking how to get the music from one iPod to another. That's not easy to do, we see countless posts about that too!
    A much better idea is to buy an external drive (a proper external drive, not simply an iPod) and put your large amount of music onto that drive. Then point your iTunes Library to that drive. However, you need to remember two things:
    You still need a backup of that Library.
    Using an external drive as your iTunes Library means that the drive must be connected and ready to read before starting your iTunes programme. If it isn't, then iTunes will look on the C: drive - and you will find no music in your Library. (Once again, lots of posts about that as well!)

    Out of habit, I tend to combine PDF files in the Page Thumbnails pane by right-click then "Insert Pages" -> "From File". For me, this preserves the tags from both documents, although the tags may have to be moved into the right location (if I recall correctly the tags for the inserted pages get put at the end of the tag structure, regardless of where the pages are inserted), If I first put the tags for the document to be inserted inside a container tag like Section, it makes the process easier. Moving that set of tags to the right place is the only re-fixing that I recall having to do. What behavior are you experiencing?

    Different versions of Illustrator can import different versions of DXF.
    Maybe there's a plugin by hotdoor that might enable you to import the latest version of the file format.

    Just got off the phone with Apple customer service.  It seems there is no around this problem.  Once you use iCloud, you're screwed. The day you decide you don't want to have certain files store in iCloud, but you still want the files accessible on your computer, you have to spend valuable time copying/hiding a set of files on each device, and then re-setting up those same files in each device they way they should be once you delete them out of iCloud.  Same thing if you decide to cancel your lCloud account. 
    No software should have the ability to hijack your data this way.

    not to house our servers that they used to support one of our environments.  They used VMware and we are a Hyper V shop.  Now they are sending it back in an OVF format and telling us to convert it to VHD.  Only tool I found was Microsoft converter
    tool and you need a VMware server to do that.  The exporter tool is another but doesn't actually do any conversion.  Can anyone help?

    If the Java application must be stand-alone you must not deploy it on WebLogic, then WebLogic will manage its lifecycle.
    In this case you can use the CommonJ API and use the timermanager if it must run on a certain time. More information

    You will need to copy the whole iTunes folder which is in your user profile on the old computer in Music folder.
    Before you do it make sure iTunes are updates on the old computer and it works without any problems.
    This will copy all your media, music, movies (provided you did not change the default location).
    After the migration you will need to sing in to Apple store again with your Apple ID
    and also authorize your new computer (both done from the tom menu bar in Store.
    Once you are done please deauthorize your old computer (the same menu path) if you are not planning to use it anymore.

    Select the songs, press CTRL+I to Get Info, on the Options tab set Skip when shuffling to Yes.
    If you want to the hide the songs from your main music view you could consider changing the media kind to audiobooks or podcasts if you don't mind the side effect of them showing up there instead.

    There is a certain website I use that I refresh frequently. Every time I do I get a pop up message labeled ‘Confirm’ with a question mark in it that says;
    “To display this page, Firefox must send information that will repeat any action (such as a search or order confirmation) that was performed earlier."

    I am accustomed to seeing this type of pop up on occasion and understand why they are necessary to prevent duplicating orders, payments, etc. I am not using a back button, I wanted to use an auto-refresh app to search for reservation openings on a certain web site and can not because this pop up requires me to manually push a button every time the page refreshes. I am resending the same information every time (a date range) via the POST form, so, was hoping there was a way to either disable, override, or set up and auto response so I can use the auto-refresh app. Your description of how to avoid the pop up didn't entirely make sense to me, but If I have to do a bunch of manual steps in between each refresh attempt it doesn't matter because I'm no better off.

    You have to have an itunes account to use itunes.

    (2) In the search box above the list, type or paste '''sess''' and pause while the list is filtered
    (3) Double-click the '''browser.sessionstore.max_resumed_crashes''' preference and enter 0 (that's a zero) and click OK.
    When Firefox resumes after a crash, instead of resuming automatically, it will display a list of your previous windows and tabs and you can deselect problem pages.
    (This assumes it wasn't a private browsing session.)
