  • Third Party Order pricing conditions copy to PO

    Hello,
I have few pricing conditions in the 3rd party sales order. I want those conditions to be reflected in the 3rd party PO.
Is there anyway to copy third party sales order pricing condition types to the PO?
    Cheers
    Anand.

    Dear Anand,
    Try with,
    T. Code: ME11 - Create Info Records
Maintain the same condition in the info-record. The price shall be picked up in the PO by the inforecord.

  • Pricing Procedure Based on Ship to Party

    Hi Guys,
During creation of sales order I want the pricing procedure to be picked up based on ship to party.
Ex: Sold -to -Party: Delhi ; Pricing procedure: 1
          Ship-to-Party: Mumbai; Pricing procedure: 2
And if I run a sales order with SH -Mumbai, then the pricing procedure should be "2".
If the SH is Delhi then the pricing procedure should be "1"
    Is this possible?
    Regards
    Ayyallas

    Hi  Ayyallas
When you create the sales order , the pricing procedure is picked up based on the sales area + Cupp + Dupp. . So it is not possible to pick the pricing procedure based on the ship to party when you create the sales order.

  • Third party sales order report

    Hi
I got to prepare a report and the description is as follows:
"Report for discount pricing conditions manually entered in third party sales orders."
"Discount price reporting for manual pricing conditions in sales order processing (not in billing)"
"The report should reflect manual pricing discounts captured in the third party sales order. The relevant (third party) document types will be confirmed.Currently we have the following pricing condition type used for manual discount: YRD2- Manual Distr. Discount % YRD3- Manual Distr. Discount fixedThis report will facilitate the monitoring on the discounts given to the distributors. We still need to confirm the complete list of discount pricing conditions for the report. The report should extract the manual discount information based on the following criteria:Sales organization, period, sales order, customer (wholesaler and/or third party) and pricing condition type.Summing per sales order, customer, period should be enabled. The discounts should be displayed in document (sales order) currency. "
I didnt understand the following to get the purpose of this report:
    1. what is this third party sales order ?
    2. What is manual pricing condition?
    3. what is manual pricing condition? how many types of conditions are there like this?
    4. What is the actual analysis that can be made from the output of this report?
Please explain them in detail. Thank you.

    THIRD PARTY SCENARIO
In third-party order processing, your company does not deliver the items requested by a customer. Instead, you pass the order along to a third-party vendor who then ships the goods directly to the customer and bills you. A sales order may consist partly or wholly of third-party items. Occasionally, you may need to let a vendor deliver items you would normally deliver yourself.
    Process Flow
The processing of third-party orders is controlled via material types. Material types define whether a material is produced only internally, can be ordered only from third-party vendors, or whether both are possible. For example, a material that is defined as a trading good can only be ordered from a third-party vendor. However, if you manufacture your own finished products, you may also want, from time to time, to be able to order the same type of product from other vendors.
    Processing Third-Party Orders in Sales
Third-party items can be created automatically by the system, depending on how your system is set. However, you can also change a standard item to a third-party item during sales processing manually.
    Automatic third-party order processing
If a material is always delivered from one or more third-party vendors, you can specify in the material master that the material is a third-party item. During subsequent sales order processing, the system automatically determines the appropriate item category for a third-party item: TAS. To specify a material as a third-party item, enter BANS in the Item category group field in the Sales 2 screen of the material master record.
    Manual third-party order processing
In the case of a material that you normally deliver yourself but occasionally need to order from a third-party vendor, you can overwrite the item category during sales order processing. For a material that you normally deliver yourself, you specify the item category group NORM in the material master.
If, as an exception, you use a third-party material, change the entry TAN to TAS in the ItCa field when processing the sales document. The item is then processed as third-party item.
If address data for the ship-to party is changed in the sales order in third-party business transactions, the changed data will automatically be passed on to purchase requisition and also to the purchase order ,if one already exists. In the purchase order, you can display the address data for the ship-to party in the attributes for the item.
You can only change the address data for the ship-to party in the sales order for third-party business transactions, and not in the purchase order.
    Processing Third-Party Orders in Purchasing
When you save a sales order that contains one or more third-party items, the system automatically creates a purchase requisition in Purchasing. Each third-party item in a sales order automatically generates a corresponding purchase requisition item. During creation of the requisition, the system automatically determines a vendor for each requisition item. If a sales order item has more than one schedule line, the system creates a purchase requisition item for each schedule line.
Purchase orders are created from purchase requisitions in the usual way. For more information about creating purchase orders, see the Purchasing documentation. During creation of the purchase order, the system automatically copies the delivery address of your customer from the corresponding sales order. In a sales order, you can enter purchase order texts for each third-party item. When you create the corresponding purchase order, the texts are automatically copied into the purchase order. The number of the purchase order appears in the document flow information of the sales order.
All changes made in the purchase order are automatically made in the sales order as well. For example, if the vendor confirms quantities and delivery dates different from those you request and enters them in the purchase order, the revised data is automatically copied into the sales order
You process third-party items by creating a normal sales order. In overview for the order, you can then overwrite the default item category (TAN in the standard system) with the special item category for third-party items: TAS
    Billing Third-Party Orders
If relevance for billing indicator for the item category has been set to B (relevant for order-related billing on the basis of the order quantity) in Customizing, the system includes the order in the billing due list immediately. If, however, the indicator has been set to F (relevant to order-related billing on the basis of the invoice quantity), the system does not include the order in the billing due list until an invoice from the vendor has been received and processed by the purchasing department. In the standard system, item category TAS (third-party order processing) has been given billing-relevance indicator F.
In the first case, the third-party order is considered to be completely billed only when the invoiced quantity equals the order quantity of the sales order item. In the second case, each time a vendor invoice is received, a customer invoice is created for the quantity in the vendor invoice and the order is considered to be fully invoiced until the next vendor invoice is received.
If you have activated billing-relevance indicator F for item categories in Customizing, billing can refer to the goods receipt quantity instead of the incoming invoice quantity.
You can control whether the invoice receipt quantity or the quantity of goods received is relevant for billing in Customizing for copying control for billing at item level.
FOR YOUR PROCESS Individual Purchase Orders WELL GIVE THE RIGHT SOLUTION
Individual purchase orders are used when your customer orders goods from you that are not in stock and must be ordered from one or more external vendors.
    Process Flow
During sales order entry, the system automatically creates a purchase requisition item. The purchasing department creates a purchase order based on the requisition and the vendor ships the goods directly to you (unlike third party order processing, where the vendor ships directly to your customer). You then ship the goods to your customer. While the goods are part of your inventory, you manage them as part of the sales order stock. Sales order stock consists of stock that is assigned to specific sales orders and cannot be used for other purposes.
Goods receipt will be posted when ever the vendor ships the goods to our customer.
We will do this transaction in SAP using MIGO.
Invoice receipt is done when the Vendor sends us the invoice.. ( I.e Billing ).
It can be done using MIRO.
THe above two steps are standard and manual. There are many other ways that the actual process can happen. If the client follows EDI standards then the Goods receipt and Invoice receipt can be done through IDOCs automatically.
Process Flow for 3rd Party Sales
Customize the third party sales in summary:
    Prerequisites for 3rd party sales,
    Purchasing org,
    purchasing group,
assign the Purchase org to company code
    assign Purchase org to plant,
should not maintain the stock in material, it should be trading goods,
    1. Create Vendor XK01
    2. Create Material – Material Type as "Trading Goods". Item category group as "BANS".
    3. Assign Item Category TAS to Order type that you are going to use.
    4. A sale order is created and when saved a PR is generated at the background
    5. With reference to SO a PO is created (ME21N). The company raises PO to the vendor.
    6. Vendor delivers the goods and raises bill to company. MM receives the invoice MIRO
    7. Goods receipt MIGO
    8. Goods issue
    9. The item cat TAS or Schedule line cat CS is not relevant for delivery which is evident from the config and, therefore, there is no delivery process attached in the whole process of Third party sales.

  • Pricing procedure determination based on Cust pricng procedure of Z partner

    Hi SD Gurus,
I have a requirement where i want pricing procedure determinaion based on Custom pricing procedure of a Z partner fucntion.
How can i acheive this ?
    Thanks
    Ram

    Dear Ram,
It can be possible through development.Basically in standard sap system will determine the pricing based on Sold to party Customer pricing procedure.
In Your case system has to determine pricing procedure from other partner function. This can be achieved by development.

  • Mass update of Third Party Vendor at PO Line item pricing condition

    Hi All,
We have requirement from business as follows:
We are using item level condition for Lumper Charge in PO and it is for Third Party Vendor. We maintain vendor in pricing condition record so it will be automatically populated while PO is created. Recently vendor is changed so we have also updated new vendor in pricing condition record so it will be taken care when new POs will be created. But there are thousand open POs in which new vendor needs to be updated.
Is there any way to mass update third party vendor at PO line item level?
    Relevant pointers will be rewarded.
    Regards,
    Tt

    Hi,
You may check the following options:
    1. If the freight vendor was pulled through condition record, then change the vendor in the condition record and update the pricing in MEI1. Refer the KBA: 1819416 - Condition records not getting updated automatically when using MEI1/MEI4
    2. If the condition is manual condition, there is no option to mass change the vendor in standard, as of my knowledge. You may create a custom program to change the vendor in the PO. Refer the similar thread: Mass update of freight vendor in PO condition

  • How to handle the cost in third party process

    Hi experts,
As the request, my client has some trading goods. the customer buy them from my client. but there is no stock in my client. for this transaction, my client send PO to the vendor and the vendor delivers the products to the customer directly. After my client recieve the shipping notification, they create the invoice to end customer. So i want to use the Third-Party Function.
But i have a confuse. How dose sap process the cost of trading goods(HAWA) in standard? you know, there is no stock for the trading goods, how to get the condition value of cost(VPRS)? Is there any special setting for the trading goods master data or some parameters in other place?
can anyone give some supports? Thank you very much.

    Hi Dave,
You can capture vendor price in billing document as a cost.
    Check the following settings.
    1) select the determine cost field in third party item category.
    2)  Billing relevance F
    3) check the VPRS condition type in pricing procedure. It will come after total amount.
    VPRS   statistical
    Subtotal = B
    Requirement = 4
Now create a sales order with third party material and maintain price E.g  500 USD
system will take VPRS value from material master in sales order level. E.g 300 USD. ( In billing level only system copies vendor price as a cost )
Do the following transactions after sales order.
Create a purchase order ME21N  with reference to PR( take the PR number from Sales order)
In purchase order maintain price in item conditions tab E.g 320 USD.
    Goods receipt   MIGO
    Vendor invoice  MIRO
Now create a Billing document with reference to sales order number.
Here system takes VPRS cost 320 USD(PO price) instead of 300 USD which we maintained in Material master.

    Chandra

  • PO based billing in third party process

How can the Sales Billing be based on the PO net price in a third party process?
The copying requirements are set up with price source A = Purchase Order
And the pricing type is = C (copy manual and redet. others)
The billing quantity is = E (GR based)
...but still the billing net value seem to be taken from the sales order and not from the PO?
We want to bill the customer whenever we have done partial goods receipts for the PO item.

    hi,
in standard you have only limited possibilities (it's working only for VPRS).
Let's say your condition is PR00 in the PO. If you wan't this in your billing document, you have to have it in your pricing procedure in the same line, with the same name and same text:
    PO
    n. 1. PR00 standard price
    invoice
    n. 1. PR00 standard price

  • Problem in pricing procedure calculation

    Hi,
I configure pricing procedure and it works in the regular sales order are 1100/20/20 correctly and shows the correct calculation but in the third party sales order, I use the same pricing procedure in the sales area 1100/50/20 and the system shows the net value but it does not calculate total price and total price is zero.
So I want to know that sales area and item category has relation with pricing procedure or not?
and How I can fix it?
    thaks,

    Hi,
There is no direct link between Sales area and item category.
You must be knowing that pricing proc. is determined by Sales Area + Cust. pricing proc + Doc. pricing proc.
So, kindly check in OVKK if the correct pricing proc. is maintained or not.
Then, check in VK12 / VK13 for your condition type if you have entered correct organizational elements like sales org / distribution channel
Kindly check this and post your feedback
    regards,
    Sagar

  • Cost in invoice in the case of third party drop ship scenario

    Hello ALL
We have third party drop ship scenario where vendor drop ships the goods to customer on our behalf and once we get the confirmation from vendor we bill the customer.  The sales order line has TAS item category.  When we raise the invoice the cost and billing quantity (because billing quantity is 'E' in copy control) comes from the goods receipt.  The PO is an import PO and has custom duty (delivery cost conditon) as well.  The custom duty is significant and hence when we create billing doc from sales order we want the custom duty also to come along with the material pirce as cost to the billing doc. Currently, the billing doc has material price from goods receipt as cost.
Can we get both price and custom duty as cost through some config or some change in PO pricing schema?  Or is there an user exit that can be used to manipuate the same?
This is a common scenario in India and hence if anybody has come across this already and can share the solution, it will be great.
    Thanks in advance.
    Rajeev Jain

    Hi,
    You can do like this.
Create a cost condition type ( copy of VPRS) and place it properly in the pricing procedure. sub total field must be B to collect the cost. Place a account key and maintain the G/L account for it also.
In the requirement you can develop a new requirement saying that in case of TAS item category system should check for the cost of the item from a PO, and you can get the total of customs and price to by writing a logic. To develop the program and logic discuss with your developer.
    Thanks,
    Venkat Cheedalla

  • Error in pricing procedure for PO

    Dear users,
I have run into a problem in pricing procedure for PO.
In the access sequence for pricing, the second access has condition based on country of customer (third party Sales order process) and third access has condition based on Info record.
When the PO is created, the system sees the record for second access, but does not insert it. In the analysis, it gives the message that "condition record found but not set (108(VE)). Instead it puts the price from Info Record (third access).
However, when i update the pricing in the PO in the conditions tab, it finds the record  in second access and puts it.
The condition record was created before the PO, and i have tested multiple times after the creation of condition record in MEK1.
Any ideas why this would happen?
    Thanks
    Nitin

    Hi
In the Access sequence maintain the Table sequence as exclusive for the Second access... This will ensure that if the Condition record is found it will adopt that.
Please check if your PO Qulaifies for the Second access or not.
Whether it is a third party Sales order & Check the Customer data & Country
    Thanks & Regards

  • Third Party Order Billing Date

    Dear Group,
Can someone assist me on the issue i am having on Third Party Orders.  I have my system set up for Billing Relevenace = B (order related) so that i can create the billing document based onthe goods receipt.  We are doing goods reciept with inbound delivery.
What i need to know is how can i have billing date updated?  In the initial sales order the billing date is getting set based on the requested delivery date.  If the goods are shipped early the billing document is not coming up on the billing due list till the billing date on the sales order and thus will not be billed until the original bill date.
How are others dealing with this issue?
Another question, if we want to pass freight charges on to customer invoice how can we do that based on the inbound delivery?  I am adding freight to header delivery docuement for standard deliveries, but not able to get pricing procedure for inbound deliveris.
    Thanks in advance.

Why would you do an inbound delivery and goods receipt on a 3rd party order?  The point of 3rd party order is so you don't have to bring the inventory into the distribution center and process it in and out.  Your billing should be based on the statistical goods receipt on the purchase order, which is when the factory should deliver the goods to the customer.

  • Order related Inter-company Billing (Third Party Order)

    Hi SAP Gurus,
We are using SAP R/3 4.6C version.  Normally, the inter-company billing are delivery related and this is working fine.  I am configuring the order related Inter-company billing, i.e. Third Party drop shipment  with Inter-company.  I refered to SAP notes 203876, 63459, 381042 and maintained the copy control between OR => IVA (for TAS) as follows:
    Copying requirement      = '013',
       Invoiced quantity        = 'F', (*)
       Quantity/value          = '+',
       Pricing type            = 'G'.
The issue I am facing is when I try to create an Inter-company invoice (after the F2 Customer invoice), the End customer details is being pulled instead of the Inter-company customer details.  In other words the Inter-company invoice is also being issued to the End customer.  Also the prices are showing in negative.
Kindly share with me if any of you guys know a solution for this.  I have searched all the SAP forums, but couldn't find a similar issue.
My concern here is, in none of the SAP notes, there is no information about the copying requirement at the header level between OR=>IVA.  I am not sure whether this is causing the issue.
    Regards,
    Saravanan

    Hello Mrinal,
Please review the note 381042 Order-related intercompany billing in Releases.
o  Report RVIVAUFT instead of report ZZIVAUFT
        o  Standard requirement 036 'Item/order related IB'
Use this requirement in the copying requirement for billing
           documents for your process flow.
o  Standard requirement 018 'Order-related IB' instead of
           customer-specific output requirement 990.
Use this requirement in the output determination procedure of
your billing documents (in the standard system, this is procedure
V10000 'Billing outputs') for output type RDIV.
o  Standard ouptput type RDIV instead of customer-specific output
           type ZZIV.

  • Procurement cycle in third party order and stock transport order.

please provide me in steps the procurement cycle in third party order and stock transport order.

    Hi,
    STO Process: -
1.Create a vendor for the company code of receiving plant, using account group :0007 using T-Code XK01.
    2. Assign this vendor to Delivering plant
    Go to XK02 >Purchasing view>Extras>Add. Purchasing data>Plant
    3. Create internal customer with the sales area of the vendor. Go To XD01
    4. In Pricing procedure determination relevant to STO, assign document Pricing Procedure and customer pricing procedure appropriate for STO to get the pricing in the invoice.
    5. Maintain condition records for the relevant pricing condition.
    6. Some more setting for STO: Go to MM> Purchasing > Purchase Order > Set up STO > define shipping data for plants > Go to Receiving plant >assign customer here & Supplying SA (for billing) to Receiving plant here
    7. Go to MM > Purchasing > Purchase Order > Set up STO > define shipping data for plants > Go to Supplying plant and assign the sales area of receiving plant.
    8. Go to MM > Purchasing > Purchase Order > Set up STO > assign delivery Type & Checking rule
Assign the delivery type to document type. In this case, Delivery type NLCC is assigned to Document type NB
    9. Go to MM> Purchasing > Purchase Order > Set up STO > Assign document Type, One step Procedure, Under delivery tolerance
Assign the document type NB to supplying plant and receiving plant
    10. After all settings , Create the STO using T-Code:ME21N and maintain pricing conditions of freight and Save.
    11. Create Delivery :VL10G
Click on the Background Button after selecting line item
A message is flashed : See log for information> next Click on Log for delivery creation Button >click on line item>click on document button to get Delivery document No
    12. Picking, PGI:VL02N
    13. Billing:VF01
Save the document and its done
    14. J1IIN - Outgoing Excise Invoice
    15. MIGO - Goods Receipt against outbound Delivery
    16. J1IEX - Capture & Post Excise Invoice
    Pricing configuration for STO: -
In SPRO > MM > Purchasing > Conditions > Define Price Determination Process > Define Schema Determination > Determine Schema for Stock Transport Orders > Here assign Calculation Schema "RM2000" i.e. Stock Transfer Document to Schema Grp Pur. Org, STO Type (For e.g. UB) and Supplying Plant.
Calculation Schema "RM2000" has condition type P101 which will pick up the MAP of supplying plant automatically during creation of STO in ME21N ("Conditions" Tab).
You can create new freight / delivery cost conditions in M/06 and assign in pricing procedure "RM2000" in M/08 and also assign the Accrual Key to this and do the Account Determination for this Accrual Key in OBYC
    At the time of PGI, following accounting entry will get generated;
    Stock A/c - Dr - 110 INR (Receiving Plant)
    Stock A/c - Cr - 100 INR (Supplying Plant)
Freight Clearing A/c - Cr - 10 INR (Supplying Plant)
    Third Party Process Flow: -
    1) MM01 - General Item category Group should be BANS in basic view of material master.
    2) VA01 - Creation of sales order with VA01 transaction in SD module
    3) When sales order is created system automatically creates a PR for the material with item category as "S"--> Third Party Item
    4) ME21N - Directly PO with item category as "S" and delivery address as customer address
    5) MIGO - Statistical GR by MM ( When it is made goods are received and delivered)
    6) MIRO - Invoice by MM for vendor
    7) VF01 - Billing by SD on Customers
