Third party scenarioUnless & until invoice verification is done than system
In Third Party scenario :
1. In third party scenario Vendor supplies the Material to the customer & Vendor sends the copy of invoice to the company. After the company did the invoice verification by using the T.code : MIRO. once this part is over than company create the invoice to the customer.
" My requirement is, Unless & until invoice verification is done than system is not allow to create the invoice to the customer"
How is to control & what are the configuration is required to met the full fil the condition
Hello,
Once you have set the blilling relevance to F (order-related billing on the basis of the invoice quantity), the system does not include the order in the billing due list (VF04) until an invoice from the vendor has been received and processed by the purchasing department.
Yes also, if your billing relevance is F and you try to do billing to customer without carrying out vendor invoice, then you will get error message number VF032 No billing documents were generated. See log with error log as No open billing quantity has been determined message number VF147 and hence you cannot do customer billing.
Every time your vendor invoice is received, a customer invoice is created for the quantity in the vendor invoice and the order will be considered fully invoiced unless further vendor invoice is recieved.

PO valueless that goods receipt value once Invoice verification is done
HI Gurus,
I
have created a PO for Value 2500 with Account assignment F (Order), done Invoice verification for value 2500. Then I have changed this line item value to 1500 in POand then tried doing Goods receipt against the PO. This way I was expecting system to throw an error at the tiem of GR but it posted GR successfully that too for an value of 2500 without giving an error or any message system should not post 2500 value as PO value at the time of GR was 1500 or it should have posted a GR for value 1500.
Pls assist me in understanding the system behavior.
Thank you in advance.
Regards
NileshI guess you need to ristrict changing value for PO line item if Invoice verification is done that will solve lot many problems

Final Cut Pro will not update after new os and compressor will not run until the update is done. System shows no updates available
Sorry for being unclear.
When I am using the update in the App Store App, there will be a list of various applications that have updates to be installed (Final Cut Pro will be in this list). I will already be logged in with the Apple ID I use for everything (my dev account). I will be able to update all of the other various applications needing updating except for my Final Cut Pro. When I click the update button next to the FCP update, it will give me an error saying "This download is not available for this apple ID either because it was bought by a different user or the item was refunded or cancelled"
I have not had any applications refunded or cancelled and this has only happened since my update to Yosemite. FCP was working fine until the upgrade. Is there anything that can be done to fix this? -
Sales order item rejected in third party SO -although the PO is done comple
The user has rejected a sales order line for total qty instread of just rejecting the undelivered qty. This is third party order and the line has a PO associated with it.
The GR and IR have been completed on the PO.
There was a warning message to delete the PO line first before rejecting the Sales order line, but the system still allowed the user to reject the item.
Now, when we try to remove the reason for rejection ..the system says to delete the PO line. Here, the system insists and an error message is resulted.
We run a customized booking report for sales order and the report now shows negative net value as year to date revenue since we rejected the item. The business does not want to see that -ve value since it gives a meaning as though business incurred loss.
The booking for this line has been done long ago when the order was booked. The net effect would have been zero had we rejected the item in the same period. Now, it is -ve since we are rejecting the item in some other period.
What could be best solution ? Do we need reverse vendor invoice, goods movement on PO and then delete the item ? As last step, remove the reason for rejection on sales order?
Are there some OOS notes to remove the reason for rejection on the sales order without distrubing the PO and other subsequent docs.
RegardsHi Friends
I have resolved the problem myself. I have used sap note : 97272 and downloaded the utility/ correction program ZZUNREJE and ran it for rejected sales line item.
The reason for rejection was successfully reversed without touching any of the associated POs.

Third Party Billing Plan Invoice problem
I have an issue in regards to using milestone billing with a third party order..
We currently use third party ordering to ship goods direct to our customers from our parent company in France. This process works well. I know have a scenario where our customer wishes to pay for goods in 2 installments . When they place their 3rd Party order they pay 50% of the total price up front then pay the remaining 50% plus an additional fee of 5% after 12 months. I have configured a new milestone billing plan for this scenario but I am unable to raise a billing document for the customer.
In the non billing plan scenario the document flow works as follows
Customer sales order raised - Automatic Purch Req - Purch order raised against parent company - Parent company ship to customer and bill us - vendor ivoice loaded against PO (MIRO) - Customer is billed via original sales order
The Billing plan scenario should work like this (but doesn't)
Customer sales order raised - Automatic Purch Req - Purch order raised against parent company - Customer Billed initial 50% - Parent company ship to customer and bill us - vendor ivoice loaded against PO (MIRO) - 12 months later Customer is billed via original sales order.
The issue I have is that the system cannot see an open billing quantity for the order even after the Vendor invoice has been loaded into the system against the purchase order.
Has anyone else had issues with this scenario and if so could they offer some advice on how to resolve
Many ThanksHi Mark,
This is expected in standard scenario.
In third party scenario, the billing relevance is either E or F in the item category.
If A, you can do invoice only for the quantity for which MIGO is done.
If F, you can do invoice only for teh quantity for which MIRO is done.
Your non-biling plan scenario is working fine, becos you are doing MIRO.
It is not workign in billing plan as you are not doing MIRO here.
So,
If you want to do partial billign in billign plan, you have to do MIRO for partial quantity and then do billing. In this case, only that part of teh invoice value will be used for creating the invoice.
However, I would suggest you to use someother item category for third party item with billing plan which doesnot have billign relevance as A or F, but has B or C. Then try doing billign as per billing plan. It will work. -

Third party: multiple customer invoice after vendor invoice
Hi all,
i have the following case on a third party flow:
SO quantity 10 pc
PO quantity 10 pc
GR1 quantity 3 pc --> Vendor invoice 3 pc
GR 2 quantity 7 pc --> Vendor invoice 7 pc
When i try to create customer invoice, SAP create a single invoice of 10 pc.
Is there a way to create 2 invoices (I1 3 pc, I2 7 pc)?
Please help me.
Let em know if your need further information.
Thank you in advance,
GSrinu,
i develope a routine as follow:
select single * into ls_vbfa from vbfa where vbelv = vbak-vbeln and vbtyp_n = 'V'.
if sy-subrc = 0.
select single lfbnr into (l_lfbnr) from ekbe where ebeln = ls_vbfa-vbeln and ebelp = ls_vbfa-posnn.
if sy-subrc = 0.
select single belnr into (l_belnr) from ekbe where ebeln = ls_vbfa-vbeln and ebelp = ls_vbfa-posnn and lfbnr = l_lfbnr.
check sy-subrc = 0.
zuk-vkorg = vbak-vkorg.
zuk-vtweg = vbak-vtweg.
zuk-spart = vbak-spart.
zuk-vgbel = l_belnr.
zuk-vbelv = space.
vbrk-zukri = zuk.
But i think the problem is that on VBFA we have a single record, so it's impossible to create two different ZUKRI in order to manage the case of partial deliveries.

Third party: trigger customer invoice from MIRO
Hi all,
this is the requierement: after the MIRO of the vendor invoice it's ncessary to trigger automatically the customer invoice (third party flow).
Do you know specific userexit to use? Other solutions?
Let me know for further information.
Thank you in advance,
GDear Giorgio
Please clarify me why you want the Customer Invoice along with Vendor Invoice??
Suppose in Third party, you will ask your vendor to supply goods directly to your customer-
But here the issue is when you will raise customer invoice and Vendor invoice?
Suppose let us take one scenario--Customer came and you delivered the goods from your vendor to your customer in this week itself. The agreed terms between you and your customer is 30 days.So normally you need to create Customer invoice after he/she receiving the goods.
Why are you waiting in creating Customer invoice can happen at 89-90th day as per your requirement.
(Suppose the Agreed payment terms between you & Your vendor is 90 days--So normally you will be raising an invoice MIRO at 89th or 90th day to your vendor)
Clarify me on this.

SAP compatible third party software for fingerprint verification
Hi all,
I need some technical advice.
Has anyone implemented fingerprint verification into SAP before?
This is my scenaro:
When a PR document is created, a custom workflow is triggered.
This custom workflow will send the work item to the approver's SAP inbox for approval.
When the approver approves the PR in the SAP inbox, there needs to be a popup/software window to obtain the approver's fingerprint and verify it against the fingerprint stored in it's database.
Is there any 3rd party software out there with the above mentioned capability which can interface/communicate with SAP?
Thanks a lot in advanced.

Invoice verification quantity less than GR quantity
Hi
I got goods of 100 quantiy of Rs.1000 each
But invoice was of Rs. 90 units
I chnaged the quantity. But amount was not changed automatically. i need to change it manually?
If i change it manually, i can put any amount. So there is no control. How to control this ?
There is some net invoice facility. Is it useful. If yes, how to use net invoice facility?Hi,
Do not you get another invoice for 10 unit.
If the invoice is final, you have to do TRC:MR11 for adjust.

Hi,
In Third Party PO ,What is the flow of process after PO release ?
ThanksHi,
Third party sales process as follows:
1. Create Sales Order : Based on the customeru2019s purchase order we create sales order in the SAP system. Sales order creation can be automated if supplier supports EDI.
While creating the sales order we need to specify the item category . TAS is a standard item category provided by SAP for 3rd Party Sales Order. Ideally we copy and create our own u201CZTASu201D item category.
Now while saving the sales order system automatically creates purchase requisition against the sales order in the background due to TAS/ZTAS item category.
2. Automatically PO will be created: The PR to PO conversion can be happened automatically by maintaining certain Master data.
In this case the account assignment category in the purchase order should be u201CYu201D and item category in the purchase order should be u201CSu201D.These account assignment category and item category will control subsequent flow in the process.
3. Delivering Goods to Customer: Once vendor receives the PO, vendor ships the goods directly to the customer as per the guideline provided on the PO.
4. Goods Receipt (GR):
GR can be done either of following 2 ways.
Fully automated way u2013 Customer can send the ASN to SAP system which can trigger the inbound delivery and GR.
Manual u2013 Customer sends the customer confirmation and based on that GR is carried out manually in the system; physically material will be send to customer by third party.
5. Entering a Vendor Invoice
The vendor sends you an invoice. You enter the invoice receipt in Invoice Verification. The invoice receipt is necessary (Based on the setting made at item category level) before a billing document can be created in SD or we can bill the customer as soon as order is created in the system.
But bill the customer only after the invoice verification is done. This minimizes the discrepancies later.
6. Creating a Billing Document for the Customer:
In SD, you create a billing document for the sales order. Depending on the Customizing settings , you draw up the billing document on the basis of the order quantity or on the basis of the quantity specified in the vendor invoice. If the customer is billed on the basis of the order quantity, you can create the billing document immediately after the sales order is entered. If the customer is billed on the basis of the quantity specified in the vendor invoice, you cannot create the billing document until the vendor invoice has been entered in Invoice Verification.
Hope this helps
Thanks & Regards,

Edited by: Ian Wong on Aug 13, 2008 7:06 PMTHIRD PARTY SCENARIO
In third-party order processing, your company does not deliver the items requested by a customer. Instead, you pass the order along to a third-party vendor who then ships the goods directly to the customer and bills you. A sales order may consist partly or wholly of third-party items. Occasionally, you may need to let a vendor deliver items you would normally deliver yourself.
Process Flow
The processing of third-party orders is controlled via material types. Material types define whether a material is produced only internally, can be ordered only from third-party vendors, or whether both are possible. For example, a material that is defined as a trading good can only be ordered from a third-party vendor. However, if you manufacture your own finished products, you may also want, from time to time, to be able to order the same type of product from other vendors.
Processing Third-Party Orders in Sales
Third-party items can be created automatically by the system, depending on how your system is set. However, you can also change a standard item to a third-party item during sales processing manually.
Automatic third-party order processing
If a material is always delivered from one or more third-party vendors, you can specify in the material master that the material is a third-party item. During subsequent sales order processing, the system automatically determines the appropriate item category for a third-party item: TAS. To specify a material as a third-party item, enter BANS in the Item category group field in the Sales 2 screen of the material master record.
Manual third-party order processing
In the case of a material that you normally deliver yourself but occasionally need to order from a third-party vendor, you can overwrite the item category during sales order processing. For a material that you normally deliver yourself, you specify the item category group NORM in the material master.
If, as an exception, you use a third-party material, change the entry TAN to TAS in the ItCa field when processing the sales document. The item is then processed as third-party item.
If address data for the ship-to party is changed in the sales order in third-party business transactions, the changed data will automatically be passed on to purchase requisition and also to the purchase order ,if one already exists. In the purchase order, you can display the address data for the ship-to party in the attributes for the item.
You can only change the address data for the ship-to party in the sales order for third-party business transactions, and not in the purchase order.
Processing Third-Party Orders in Purchasing
When you save a sales order that contains one or more third-party items, the system automatically creates a purchase requisition in Purchasing. Each third-party item in a sales order automatically generates a corresponding purchase requisition item. During creation of the requisition, the system automatically determines a vendor for each requisition item. If a sales order item has more than one schedule line, the system creates a purchase requisition item for each schedule line.
Purchase orders are created from purchase requisitions in the usual way. For more information about creating purchase orders, see the Purchasing documentation. During creation of the purchase order, the system automatically copies the delivery address of your customer from the corresponding sales order. In a sales order, you can enter purchase order texts for each third-party item. When you create the corresponding purchase order, the texts are automatically copied into the purchase order. The number of the purchase order appears in the document flow information of the sales order.
All changes made in the purchase order are automatically made in the sales order as well. For example, if the vendor confirms quantities and delivery dates different from those you request and enters them in the purchase order, the revised data is automatically copied into the sales order
You process third-party items by creating a normal sales order. In overview for the order, you can then overwrite the default item category (TAN in the standard system) with the special item category for third-party items: TAS
Billing Third-Party Orders
If relevance for billing indicator for the item category has been set to B (relevant for order-related billing on the basis of the order quantity) in Customizing, the system includes the order in the billing due list immediately. If, however, the indicator has been set to F (relevant to order-related billing on the basis of the invoice quantity), the system does not include the order in the billing due list until an invoice from the vendor has been received and processed by the purchasing department. In the standard system, item category TAS (third-party order processing) has been given billing-relevance indicator F.
In the first case, the third-party order is considered to be completely billed only when the invoiced quantity equals the order quantity of the sales order item. In the second case, each time a vendor invoice is received, a customer invoice is created for the quantity in the vendor invoice and the order is considered to be fully invoiced until the next vendor invoice is received.
If you have activated billing-relevance indicator F for item categories in Customizing, billing can refer to the goods receipt quantity instead of the incoming invoice quantity.
You can control whether the invoice receipt quantity or the quantity of goods received is relevant for billing in Customizing for copying control for billing at item level.
FOR YOUR PROCESS Individual Purchase Orders WELL GIVE THE RIGHT SOLUTION
Individual purchase orders are used when your customer orders goods from you that are not in stock and must be ordered from one or more external vendors.
Process Flow
During sales order entry, the system automatically creates a purchase requisition item. The purchasing department creates a purchase order based on the requisition and the vendor ships the goods directly to you (unlike third party order processing, where the vendor ships directly to your customer). You then ship the goods to your customer. While the goods are part of your inventory, you manage them as part of the sales order stock. Sales order stock consists of stock that is assigned to specific sales orders and cannot be used for other purposes.
Goods receipt will be posted when ever the vendor ships the goods to our customer.
We will do this transaction in SAP using MIGO.
Invoice receipt is done when the Vendor sends us the invoice.. ( I.e Billing ).
It can be done using MIRO.
THe above two steps are standard and manual. There are many other ways that the actual process can happen. If the client follows EDI standards then the Goods receipt and Invoice receipt can be done through IDOCs automatically.

1. Create Vendor XK01
2. Create Material Material Type as "Trading Goods". Item category group as "BANS".
3. Assign Item Category TAS to Order type that you are going to use.
4. A sale order is created and when saved a PR is generated at the background
5. With reference to SO a PO is created (ME21N). The company raises PO to the vendor.
6. Vendor delivers the goods and raises bill to company. MM receives the invoice MIRO
7. Goods receipt MIGO
8. Goods issue
9. The item cat TAS or Schedule line cat CS is not relevant for delivery which is evident from the config and, therefore, there is no delivery process attached in the whole process of Third party sales.

Third party order processing is as follows:
Assume three companies X, Y and Z
X - The company,
y - The customer
Z - Vendor
When ever X gets a PO from Y to supply some goods, X has an option of either manufacturing those goods or procuring those goods.
If he is procuring the goods, there are two methods that are generally followed:
Method 1) After receiving the PO from Y, X creates a sales order against Y.
Now at the same time he also creates a PO to a vendor Z to produce the goods
Z produces the goods and supplies to X
X receives the goods from Z
Then X delivers the same goods to Y.
After that X invoices Y and Z invoices X.
Note : Here there is no direct/ Indirect relation between Z and Y.
This process is known as Trading Process. and the Material here is created with Material type HAWA.
The other method is a Third party order processing method:
Here the glaring difference is that instead of Z supplying the material to X and X in turn supplying the same material to Y.
X authorizes Z to supply the material to Y on his behalf and notify him once the delivery is complete.
Now Z supplies the material to Y and acknowledges the same to X.
Z will send a copy of delivery acknowledgement and invoice to X.
After receiving the delivery confirmation and invoice from Z, X has to verify the invoice and this process is known as invoice verification and is done in SAP through Tcode MIRO.
The next step for X is to create an invoice and submit to Y
Only after the invoice verification document is posted then only X can create an invoice for Y.
This is the business flow that is followed for third party order configuration.
There are few steps that have to be configured to enable the system to function as mentioned above.
Step1)
If you are always following a third party process for a material then you have to create the material using item category group BANS.
The procurement type should be marked as External procurement (F) in MRP 2 view of the material master record.
if you are not always allowing third party order processing then u can create a material master record with item category group as NORM and the procurement type should be marked as ( X) meaning both types of procurement ( in house manufacturing and external procurement).
Step 2)
the item category in the order should be manually changed as TAS.
For that you need to configure the item category determination
Order type + item cat Group + Usage + High level = Item cat + Manual item cat
OR + NORM + + = TAN + TAS
OR + BANS + + = TAS
Step 3)
make sure that during the item category configuration for TAS you need to mark relevant for billing indicator as F
step 4)
The schedule line category for this type should be CS.
make sure that you mark subsequent type as NB - purchase requisition in this schedule line category as this will trigger the purchase requisition order immediately after the creation of the sales order and the PO to vendor is created against this purchase requisition.

Intercompany Process:
Go through the explanation given below with test cases.
Business case: -
Customer orders goods to company code/Sales organization A (Eg.4211/4211).Sales org 4211 will accept and punch the order in the system with sold to party as end customer code in the system. Company code/sales org B (Eg.4436) will deliver the goods to end customer and raise an intercom any billing on 4211 with reference to delivery. This can happen only after 4211 raises invoice to his end customer to whom the material has been delivered by 4436.
SPRO Customization required:-
1. Assign plant of delivering company code (Eg.SI81) to sales org/distribution channel combination of ordering company code (Eg.4211/RT)
2. Maintain intercom any billing type as IV for sales document type OR
3. Assign Organizational Units By Plant (Eg.SI81/4211/RT/11)
4.Define Internal Customer Number By Sales Organization (Eg.4436 will create customer master for 4211 company code and that number will be maintained in this relationship:-4211/231)
5. Automatic posting to vendor account (Optional)
6. Maintain pricing procedure determination for 4211/RT/A/1/RVAA01-For customer sales and billing
Maintain pricing procedure determination for 4436/RT/A/1/ICAA01-For intercompony billing
Master data to be maintained:-
1. Create end customer master in company code/sales org 4211/RT/11
2. Create customer master for 4211 company code/sales org in 4436/RT/11
3. Maintain PR00 as price for end customer-Active in RVAA01
4. Maintain PI01 as price which has to be paid to 4436-Statistical in RVAA01
5. Maintain IV01 as inter-company Price-Active in ICAA01
Process:-
1. Create OR with sold to party as end customer.
2. Plant to be selected is delivering plant belonging to different company code. With this selection system will treat this order as intercomany sales.
3. Pricing procedure is RVAA01
4. With reference to this order delivery will be created from the delivering plant and post the goods issue for this delivery.
5. Ordering sales org will create billing document F2 with reference to delivery for end customer.
6. Delivering sales org will create intercompany billing IV with reference to delivery document.

Reg: Third Party Flow Setup
Hi Guru,
i need Customizing and flow of Transaction for the Third Party setup Document. please provide the valid information on this.

SivaTHIRD PARTY SCENARIO
