Third Party - XI - SAP ECC

Hi all!
We want to intergrate third-party system with SAP through XI.
Can anyone provide me step by step guidence?
Which IDOC is useful? and entries should not go to FI tables.

You can use any IDOC according to ur requirement.
Example,
If u want to create Vendor use Idoc CREMAS04 (message type CREMAS)
If u want to create Customer use IDOC DEBMAS (message type DEBMAS)

How SAP handles AFS Third Party Orders in ECC system?

Hi All,
There is a user exit EXIT_SAPLJ3AM_003 which exist in 4.6C version of SAP for AFS.
This user exit is for Third Party order processes. This is called within the include LJ3AMFD1 of the main program SAPLJ3AM.
But this User exit is missing in ECC version of SAP for AFS.
Basically when the Dierct ship Sales Order is created, corresponding PR is created for it and using this User exit certain fields in this corresponding Purchase Requisition is filled from Sales Order but this user exit is missing in ECC system.
Could anyone please let me know how SAP handles the Third party Orders in ECC AFS system?

Send IDOC from XI to an Third Party Non-SAP System

Hello Everyone ,
Is it possible to use XI IDOC adapter to send an IDOC to a Third-party non SAP system . This third-party-system handles IDOCs .
We want to do
SAP -> idoc -> XI -> idoc -> Third Party .

Mapping handling in third party vs SAP PI for EDI 850

Can I know Pros and Cons for hanling mapping translations in third party vs handling mapping translations in SAP PI for EDI 850 interface.

Pros:
SAP PI is a middleware and all Middlewares work pretty much on the same principles.
I am assuming that EDI 850 would have some sort of structure, [ to be honest I have not worked on EDI but just read about it] and SAP PI would require you to convert this structure into XML -> the only language SAP PI understands.
Now, I am sure there are lots of third party adapters available in the market for EDI. PI will give you flexibility to convert this interface into any kind of requirement be it JDBC/FILE/IDOC or anything and vice versa is also true. PI give you this enormous ability to convert to and from any format as long as it is viable.
Last but not the least, it will provide a robust system with Alerting and Monitoring.
Cons: You may have to invest on a third party adapter to read the EDI

Question About Ship-To-Party from SAP ECC.

In SAP ECC I have 2 Account Groups:
1. For Customers
2. For Ship-To-Party.
My Question is: When I download the Customers from ECC to CRM I specify in PIDE both Account Groups. Is the relationship created during the download or it must be created manually?

The BP relationship will be created automatically during the BP download based. However, if you have to extend the relationship, you can do it manually in CRM.

Coding to scan document from third party in SAP

ECC Via XI to Third Party system through Idocs

I have done all the setting required to IDOC communication,
RFC's are created,
Distribution Model
Imported the Meta data
Partner Profile
ESR Objects Made (IDoc as my Source and WSDL as External Definition for Target)
ID Configuration made, sender channel is SOAP.
SLD Configuration (Business and technical system as third party systems and ECC as ABAP system)
Sender is ECC, no sender channel will be required (correct me if i am wrong), where as
now when i test my scenario with WE19, i do not see my XML while using tcode sxi_monitor.
have i missed any step.

in IDX5 System is not a Central Integration System: unable to start program is the error, if i fix this error what will be impacts on the system

Check SXMB_ADM --> Check the Integration Engine Configuration
In the Global Configuration Data :
Role of Business System should be Integration server
Corresponding IS should point to Pipeline URL.

Transaction SAP Adapter u2013 Monitoring (IDX5) : provides you with an overview of all messages sent to or from the Integration Server as IDocs. Double-clicking a message provides you with detailed information on this message in the Integration Server.
You can monitor the status of all XML messages by using transaction Integration Engine u2013 Monitoring (SXMB_MONI).
You can use transaction SM58 to monitor native RFC communication on the Integration Server. This type of communication protocol is used in two places here:
To send an IDoc from an SAP system to the Integration Server
To send an IDoc from the Integration Server to an SAP system
and one more thing are you tested Rfc destination ? is it working ?

Third party help desk error

Hi everyone,
I am trying to connect a third party to my Solution Manager help desk. The third party is an ECC 6.0 SAP System.
I reproduced the Service Desk WebService API in the third party and it works fine .
I have a problem when I follow the instructions in SolMan to configure the third Party. The step when I have to create the HTTP destination to third party I write the path of the Web services( like /default_host/sap/bc/srt/rfc/sap/zict_api_copy) but I get the error SOAP nº 112).
If I go to SICF in the third party system I get the same error with this Web Services but if I test it in the WSADMIN it works fine.

Hi,
Is it possible to run a Third Party Process between ECC and SCM without CRM? Everthing on helpsap.com talks about CRM, but there is no way we will implement this new module.
Please give me the big lines if you know how?

EDI Invoicing for Third Party orders

I receive an invoice through EDI. the Idoc is posted using FM IDOC_INPUT_INVOIC_MRM to create the Invoice for the third party in SAP.
Now the when the invoice price is different from standard price we need to use the standard price from SAP to post the invoice and the difference in the amount is to be booked on the price difference account.
I have used user exit EXIT_SAPLMRMH_015 to use the standard price from SAP instead of the invioce price for posting. BUT I am not able to get how should I book the price on the price difference account. Which user exit is to be used and what values are to be passed.

hi,
this is to inform you that,
this cannot be achieved with standard configuration i think so because if you keep in LOG of incompletion in sales order it will not stop creating PR.
so this is pure development
where you can write in user exit USER_EXIT_SAVE_DOCUMENT_PREPARE that if the sales order item category is VBAP-PSTYV = TAS & schedule line category is VBEP-ETTYP then check the LOG whether the document is completed or not and if not throw an error message & stop triggering PR stating that document is incomplete.
this triggers while saving the document.

R/3 - XI - Third party (IDOC) Scenario

Hi
We are facing some issues related to particular scenario and I hope you guys could help.
SAP sends and IDOC to XI which is in turn routed to a third-party system (NON SAP) which should receive the Data in IDOC format. The connection to this third-party system is using a TCP/IP RFC connection. This third-party system acts as a broker between their SAP system and others.
Now the question... Is there any way to connect this system using an RFC channel? If not are there any other channels that could be used with a TCP/IP Connection?
Any thought suggestions on this will be highly appreciated.

If your scenario is R/3 -> XI -> Third party (NON-SAP).
then you can handle it as idoc to http adapter.
i mean source would be idoc format and target structure would be of cxml format and the scenario has http adapter on receiver side.

Third party presets for battery 3 migrate to battery 4

I own battery 3 and logic 9 and Made presets of kits all for my BATTERY 3 in logic so theyre right there in my lib in Logic 9 .... Now i got into this battery 4 as well as LOGIC X..... all i want to do it make my battery 3 logic presets work for battery 4 .... I found the B3 presets and put them in a folder that seemed to have battery 4 see the presets but when i UPLOADED the battery 3 presets in battery 4 . The battery 4 would crash the program everytime when trying to load a B3 third-party preset in B4..... is there any converting i neeed to do the files from b3-b4 does anyone know anyway or even if its compatible to do such things... again incase i am unclear.... I want Battery3 third party presets that i made in logic 9 to now work and be accesed on logic X and battery 4....i know this is not a battery forum or native instruments forum... so for the people who want to help by saying oh i logic not battery.... atleast tell me where the third party presets folder "path" would be for Battery 4 when making presets in logic x ..... soo please let me rock out with this logic x and use my presets that i spent dys n days making.... as it is i cnt use jalf my plug ins with this 64 bit deal.... ATLEAST someone help me to get my battery 4 to open the same ish as my battery 4 ...Again please some help here...

officially the return process is not supported by standard SAP ERP system for the third-party process (SAP note 751609). This functionality was never designed and is not supported.
The note 751609 is the official statement of SAP to this problem.
