TO split per picking area
I have set up production supply to split TOs per picking area. Master data is OK, config is OK.
But it is not working. Is this setting ignored for production supply?
I have even debugged the process and the program finds the correct entry in T312B, with SPLKB field set to X. Yet, nothing happens.
Config was verified by another experienced consultant.
Any ideas?

Transfer Order Splitting By Picking Area
Hi,
Appreciate some help on this one.
Our system is currently set to split picking transfer orders by storage type - I'm trying to switch this off.
Instead I would like to split by picking area, so if I have say, picking area 001 across 2 storage types, I would like a pick that goes across these 2 storage types to be created on ONE TO.
I have tried various combinations of sorting and splitting but so far no luck.
It seems that the 'Split Picking Area' check box in Define Profile > Profile for Transfer Order Splitting actually refers to the storage type.
If this option is checked, I get 2 TOs, even though my picking area is the same across the 2 storage types I am testing.
If this option is unchecked, I get one TO, even if I set the picking areas to be different. It is almost like the picking area has no influence.
I read something about 'Forced' splitting - I wonder if there is an option to uncheck 'Split Picking Area' and then set my sorting in a such a way that I get my desired split??
Any hints or tips gratefully received.

I would think that you do not have one picking area across 2 storage types. You define picking areas per storage type. So if you give them the same name, that does not mean that they are the same picking areas. So the effect you describe is a split per storage type because they have different picking areas.

I have made following configuration setting for Transfer Order split for Picking area
In profile for Transfer Order split, I made Tick mark for TO split for Picking area, Set sort Sequense as 2 and set sort sequnce as Storage tyep and Material and Bin No.
Create Storage Bin Structure with Differnet Picking area and 2 different materials available in Differnet Pick area.
When I creat sale order, Delviery. When I cteate TO, System creating Single TO for Delivery. It is not Spliting 2 TO based on Pick area. what setting need to be done to split TO based on Pick area. Please confirm.

you should assign Profile for transfer order split in IMG: Warehouse Management>Activities>Transfers>Processing Performance Data / TO Split>Control for Performance Data Processing / Define TO Split-->Performance data control

WM: TO creation splitting per storage type
Hi all.
I would like to know how to split a GR in different TO and the different possibilities:
per storage type
one item (in material document)=one TO per item
Is it customizing? Does a user exit exist?

Sort and split TO items
You can assign a performance data profile to a transfer order with the movement type key, source storage type key or the destination storage type key. Since the storage types are on the item level rather than header level in the transfer order, an implicit split is executed for transfer orders with performance data profiles, which makes the performance data profile valid for all items.
An explicit split may be preferable for organizational reasons. Some examples include executing a split according to picking areas or when a parameter barrier for volume, weight, or target time is reached. A suitable TO item sort is a prerequisite for a meaningful split.

NEW GL: Customer/Vendor Line items cannot be displayed per business area
Hello ECC 6.0 Masters!
We have implemented Standard Document Splitting by Business area(BUSA). See below scenario..
ENTRY VIEW
PK Account Segment Amount
01 Customer 100
50 Expense BUSA1 60-
50 Expense BUSA2 40-
GL VIEW

01 CustomerReconAcct BUSA1 40

However after implementation we discovered that because the Customer/Vendor BUSA is blank in entry view, we now cannot derive reports that are normally based on the BUSA of Customer/Vendor line item, which we used to be able to do prior to implementing NEW GL.
Some of them are below:
1. Debtor Ageing Analysis (Standard)
2. Customer/Vendor line items per BUSA (Standard)
3. Several other Sublegder based custom reports we have that neeed to be categorized by BUSA
My question now is..Is there a way to derive these Business Area information under Vendor and Customer account to produce our reports? Especially for the Ageing which is key to the business process of my client.
I hope somebody there has experienced this before. thanks!

You will not get ageing reports based on BA after new gl migration. You need to bring the info from the new gl tables. one of the easiest ways is to get the info from the table FAGL_SPLINFO by passign BSEG-BELNR. For defining ageing reports in new gl use t code FKI3 and FDI3 for Vendors and Customers respectively.

Activate Cost Component Split in Controlling Area Currency
Hello,
I have controlling area currency USD and company code currency INR. When I do WIP run then system is giving error messages "contr.area currecy is missing" and "not find valid cost component structure" and suggesting to maintain "Cost Component Split in Controlling Area Currency".
When I maintain then after that I am not able to run CK11N for std.cost estimate only with the error "cost componenet spit costed with zero" and also system giving this message on front screen of ck11n, means not allowing to go into ck11n result screen.
Could you please give me some tips or check point on this issue.

RaviI'd revert to the Cost Component per Co Area currency config that you were forced to delete (as per your other post) - but this time, just for a Costing Type or a specific Val Variant and check the results.
Maybe that'll throw some light... also check if you maintained all the Exchange Rate config in your system... check General Settings for all the config that is required.

Actual Cost component split - Per PO
Dear ML Experts,
We have activated Material Ledger and Actual costing/ Actual cost component split in our implementation. The standard cost is based on delivery costs and there is no manufacturing involved. In order to test ML, we created some POs and did a GR and IR for those POs. When I look at the Material Price analysis on the Price Determination Structure View, I can see the Price differences per transaction (Goods receipt, Invoice receipt).
But when I go to the Cost component View (Actual), I cannot drill down into the individual transactions. I am able to see the actual cost component split only at the summarized level across multiple transactions. I can see the category Purchase Order under Receipts, but I am unable to drill down to see the actual cost component split for the individual transactions (goods receipts, invoice receipts). Did I miss anything on the configuration? The client wants to see the price differences per cost component per transaction and actual cost component split per transaction.
Is it possible to view this information using standard configuration? Would I have to change the controlling level in order to achieve this?
Can you please provide your advice?

If you have access to an IDES system, you can see a Cost Component split like this:
As fas as I know, this is only for educational porpouses. In the standard System, its not recomended have the detail of the split per movement, due to the huge amount of data genereted. There is a Flag that control this, in a Txxx table (i dont have access to the system right now).
If you really want this functionality, write SAP in the marketplace, and I guess their response is exactly what im saying.

Sounds like Spaces is being activated somehow. With the wired keyboard and mouse in use, select the Exposé & Spaces control pane in System Preferences, click the choice in that pane for Spaces. See what the settings are. There are some activation settings in that pane - by default, F8 activates it.
It could be that the bluetooth keyboard has some stuck keys and is activating Spaces; or that the activation command has somehow been reset to something that the bluetooth mouse, or bluetooth itself, is triggering. -
Balance sheet as per Business area

client wants business area wise balance sheet. so that I had define the 2 difference business area &i had get balance sheet as per business area. but i found that there are some stock accounts which update business area by-default & some which are not update business area properly. i couldn't understand how system behave like this?
please suggest me how to check out this issue? tell me the step how to find out the loopholes?

I must have hit some command but my code/split/design buttons are gone. Also are the "live view", etc. How do I get them back.
I looked under both the window and view tabs but couldn't find anything that retrieves them.

KawiThe variants in OB52 are at the compamy code level. You can take these down to GL account level, customer, vendor and materials. If you can segrgate based on that you have your control.
Being more creative, you might be able to build some special validation that reads a custom table and if there is a period xx for business area xxx then it gives a message. Totally custom and I would not do this unless I absolutely could not use standard stuff. -

Company having different zones and business wants that the user of one zones should not access the dispute and credit case along with the attachement related to cases of another zone.
Now Company having one RMS ID for Dispute and One RMS ID for Credit case .

It is not company code . it is basically region by geographic like latin America, North America.
under oner region business have several company code.
Business want to restrict the user to use credit case and dispute case along with attachment limited by region.

Queue Determination by Picking Area
Dear all,
I am having difficulty with the correct Queue determination.
Current config has four wild cards (***) and no Door, determining Queue-A
I have added one line in my config table where the wild card voor Picking Area is replaced with a Real Picking Area number, and I have assigned one location to it. Also this line has Queue-B as queue to be determined
In my TO the destination bin is the one with the picking area mentioned above.
Still, the new Queue is not found.
I do not get it. Do you? If you do, please let me know.
