Total hours

Is there any way to read the total hours the iMac has been on?
Used to be stored in the PRAM under OS 9.
Is it still this way?

"I read this a I had a massive dohh! moment."
I read this & had a WT moment!

  • Calculating Total Hours

    Has anyone had any experience calculating hours for a work schedule in numbers? I would like to figure out how to calculate total hours worked for a week on a work schedule. I am struggling to find the best way to do so. I would like to not have to use military time. What is the best way to add up the total time worked when I'm inputting the time as 7a to 5p (star time and end time in different columns). I need to have the columns formatted for time and date so it can be viewed with ease as well, does anyone know a formula to add up the hours worked each day.

    Hello
    This question was responded so much times that I don't wish to search in the old threads for you.
    Click the "more options" button,
    select the forum dedicated to Numbers
    enter a keyword like "total hours" or Duration which is a word often used in my responses about this question.

  • Total Hours Computer Has Been On

    I would like to know the total hours my computer has been on.
    I know there are commands to give uptime since power on but I remember a tool or utility that could report the cumulative hours the computer has been on (this was back in MacPlus days).
    Anyone know a command, tool or utility that reports this?

    Hi Rudy,
    I went through
    b System Profiler.app
    looking for a total hours used entry, and no luck.
    best of luck, ...ben
    PS. I did come across a
    b Battery Cycle Count
    which was cool given the interest in the life of lithium batteries used in laptops and iPods, but no information on what constitutes a 'cycle'

  • CATS Rounding up the Total Hours to next 1/10th hour.

    Hi Everyone,
    Is there any user exit or standard configuration which can be used to round up the total hours in CAT2 to the next 1/10th hour.
    Eg : If the employee enters start time and End time as 08:00  and 08:06 then total hours is .1 ( 6/60 = .1)
    But if the employee enters Start time and End time as 08:00 and 08:02 then the total hours should also give as .1 instead of .03 which is ( 2/60 = .03 ). That means it should round up to every next 6th Increment.
    Kindly suggest,
    Regards,
    SAP HCM

    you can round it in Time eval  through PCR quering time pairs . ROUND operation can be helpful.

  • Hi I'm a total novice, as you will see. But Iam trying to use template of an employee schedule but when I try to add extra columns it does not add the preset formula with it, so it works out total hours and total pay?   If any one can help please.

    Hi Grum,
    If the formulas aren't filling to the new column, you must have changed something in the template since you first opened it. Numbers is rather fussy about filling row content in columns as they are added. Only rows with the same expression in every Body Column will fill when a column is added. Just as an experiment, start a new Employee Schedule document from the Template Chooser and then add a column by clicking the Add Column handle in the upper right corner of the table. If that works, as it should, then think about what might have changed in your working document to disconnect that feature. Maybe we can figure it out together.

  • Unable to fetch Time Category wise total hours in Fast Formula

    Hi,
    In OTL, we want to validate the total hours entered by user before they save the record. User can chose multiple Timecard info against a day like
    Day1             Hours
    Overtime1      5
    Overtime2      2
    Rest              6
    Now we want to validate this 7 hours(Total hours of Overtime1 and Overtime2 only) should not exceed 12 hours. This is the requirement.
    So for this we created a Time Category which includes both Overtime1 and 2 and tried using the standard formula "HXC_TIME_CATEGORY_COMPARISON" which does the validation but this was also not working as per the need.
    Can anyone help us if you came across the same scenario earlier.
    Thanks,
    Manju

  • Working on Schedule Formula - include/exclude lunch based on total hours

    So I was starting with the basic schedule template they have. They only problem is that it ALWAYS deducts 1 hour for lunch regardless of the length of the shift.
    Here is the formula I have:
    =IF(OR(G8="",G9=""),"",IFERROR(G9-G8-Administration Information :: $B$1,""))
    How can I modify this to make it only deduct the 1 hour for lunch if the total hours (before lunch) is more than 5.5 hours?
    The 'Administration Information' is where it gets the lunch length from.
    Thanks!

    No one has asked about that template for a month or so. Usually the question has to do with the Start and End times for the shift. I remember a long time ago when I looked at that template for the first time I thought it would be good to make the lunch variable.
    You wrote a very good question. You mentioned exactly what template you were using and stated clearly what you wanted to do.
    You can Hide column C in the Admin table since it doesn't have much purpose other than to contain the Duration constant for maximum work time without lunch.

  • Get total hours

    Hello.
    I have the following class:
    class Work_Time
    java.util.Date start;
    java.util.Date end;
    java.uti.Date start_lunch;
    java.util.Date end_lunch;
    and the following examples:
    start=23/05/2001 13:00
    end=22/05/2002 17:00
    start_lunch=15:00
    end_lunch=16:00
    I have to get the number of total hours using these information...
    Every day the person works from 13:00 to 17:00 (started at 23/05/2001 and will stop at 22/05/2002).
    I tought about using a for loop, but couldnt do it... can someone help me???
    Thanks,
    Igor.

    Every day, or every working day?
    If it the person works every day than use java.util.Calendar.
    If you have an internal holiday calendar than you sould use it also.
    java.util.Calendar startDate = java.util.Calendar.getInstance();
    startDate.setTime(start);
    java.util.Calendar endDate = java.util.Calendar.getInstance();
    endDate.setTime(end);
    int days_in_first_year = start.getActualMaximum(Calendar.DAY_OF_YEAR)- start.get(Calendar.DAY_OF_YEAR);
    int days_next_year = end.get(Calendar.DAY_OF_YEAR)-
    end.getActualMinimum(Calendar.DAY_OF_YEAR);
    int nr_of_days = days_in_first_year + days_in_next_year;
    int nr_of_hours_pro_day = 17-13 -(16 -15);
    int result = nr_of_hours_pro_day * nr_of_days

    Where do you see the 7 hour value? Is it on the details page, do you see another 1 hr entry on that day? Have you setup any OT rule?

  • How do I create a timesheet on numbers that will give me a weekly total as well as an hourly total?

    I am currently enrolled in an internship, and I need to sumbit an timesheet every week, as well as one at the end of my internship showing the overall hours that I worked. How do I create a Time sheet that will show my start time, end time, total hours for the day, total hours for the week, and total overall hours. If possible can someone please show me step by step how to do this or give me a template I can go off of.

    Hi j,
    Take a look at the Employee Schedule template in the business section of the Template Chooser.
    With a few modifications, it should do what you need.
    Start by renaming the main table to reflect the new focus—you—then replace the names in row 1 with the Sunday dates of the weeks being recorded. Each column will then report your total house for one week (in row 25). You can use SUM() to total these in a separate cell or on a separate tabel.
    One caution:
    The values in the pop-up menus, like those in all cells showing either Date or Time values contain both a Date part and a Time part. Where only the Time part has been entered, the Date part is the Date on which the entry was created. For the pop-ups on this table, that was July 15, 2008, so the full value in cell C7 (John's first "In" time) is July 15, 2008 08:00:00. That full value is what's used in the calculation in C9.
    If you edit the pop-up menu lists, there are two things to be aware of:
    The "blank" item in the menus enters an empty string into its cell, not a true blank. You, as a user, cannot create an 'empty string' item in a popup menu. The closest you can come is an entry with a single space. If you edit the "blank" item, you will also need to edit the formulas in the hours rows to detect a space ( " " ) rather than an empty string ( "" ).
    If you add or change any 'time' items in the pop-ups, the new (or changed) items will contain 'today's' date as part of the value. To avoid unexpected results from calculations, you'll need to edit ALL or the 'time' items if you choose to edit or add one.
    Take a look at the template, then bring back any questions that arise.
    Regards,
    Barry

  • Total labour hours for a FG

    I have one finished good A which has a multi level bom.
    I want to see the total labour hours required to manufacture this material A.
    i.e. total of all the labour hours of all the subassemblies
    under A.
    In which transaction can I see it.
    I have tried CK13N but am not able to find the total hours required to manufacture A.

    Hi Amit,
    You can do this via routing itself,
    goto CA02
    there you enter header detail screen
    goto
    extras
    scheduling
    there you can put the quantity as required
    There there you will see the results of scheduling the labor Hrs
    But for that you need maintain your work center scheduling category as labour.

  • IPhone 5 battery only lasts for 3 hours of usage

    My iPhone 5 64GB is not working as well as I think it should be. After about 3 hours of usage (according to usage statistics in settings), which is just Facebook and web browsing, and 9 total hours of standby, the battery dies. This is mainly over 4G with medium brightness. Background App Refresh is off, most location services are off, Push emails are off, reduce motion is on. I have tried everything I have found online to try and fix this, but nothing has worked. On top of that, my iPhone was just replaced at an Apple Store, so I'm not really sure what it could be.
    Any help is greatly appreciated!

    Hello pierre0,
    Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.
    Since you have just received this iPhone as a replacement from an Apple Store, it should still be within its 90 day warranty.  Please take the device back to the store and inform them of the issue.
    A replacement part or Apple Product, including a user-installable part that has been installed in accordance with instructions provided by Apple, assumes the remaining term of the Warranty or ninety (90) days from the date of replacement or repair, whichever provides longer coverage for you.

  • Transferring the additional hours to current period during retro run

    Hi Experts,
    We are have Pension contribution plan in 0169 where wage type 9XXX that takes in total hours from /229 via custom PCR. . Then the hours are multiplied by a constant stored in table T511K. The problem is that suppose we have created a record for hours in IT 2010 for some previous period during the current run and want to reflect that change with the a retro run. i.e 97XX should take in hours from /229 in the current period plus those additional hours give in some previous period and reflect the same in the current period. And this not happening.
    E.g. In for period 04 say, we want the hours also that have in given additionally for in period 02. We have checked tables V_51P6_B as well as V_51P6_C for 9XXX and it's OK.
    Are we missing something here?

    Like other deductions (other than taxes), retroactive changes to the deduction amount should be carried forward to the current pay through tables DDNTK and ARRRS, since you can't change the Net Pay Amount of the previous pay.
    For retroactive changes to Payments, such as hours recorded in IT2010, the payment calculation will usually happen in the retroactive pay, Staturory Deductions (such as Income Tax) will be calculated and the resulting change in net income will be carried forward to the current pay.
    If the current calculation does not meet your requirements, you probably need to create a few PCRs to work around the problem.
    If possible, any variation in the value of /229 should be carried forwart to the current pay (through Output and Input WTs) before function P0169.
    The alternative would be to create a series of PCRs before and after that function so that the retroactive pay would always use the original value of /229 (without changing it's value in RT) and that the current pay's value of /229 would be modified temporarily to reflect the retroactive changes (without changing it's value in RT).
