CATS Rounding up the Total Hours to next 1/10th hour.

Hi Everyone,
Is there any user exit or standard configuration which can be used to round up the total hours in CAT2 to the next 1/10th hour.
Eg : If the employee enters start time and End time as 08:00  and 08:06 then total hours is .1 ( 6/60 = .1)
But if the employee enters Start time and End time as 08:00 and 08:02 then the total hours should also give as .1 instead of .03 which is ( 2/60 = .03 ). That means it should round up to every next 6th Increment.
Kindly suggest,
Regards,
SAP HCM

you can round it in Time eval  through PCR quering time pairs . ROUND operation can be helpful.

I would like to know the total hours my computer has been on.

Anyone know a command, tool or utility that reports this?

  • 1st pay of the year hours double ?

    Hi,
This is my situation (happened in 2007, 2008)
Ex: For the 1st pay of 2008 I have this pay period (Dec 30, 2007 to Jan 12, 2008) payable on January 10, 2008
    On my RT table :
    Regular    $20.00    64 hours   $228.58
    Regular    $20.00    64 hours   $1,371.42
    Stat hol    $20.00    3.43 hours $68.60
    Stat hol    $20.00   20.57 hours $411.40
    My problem with this :
1 - For stat holiday it all ok because the total hours = 24 hours BUT for regular hours I should have 64 hours total and not two time 64 hours (note the amount are good )
2 - When I try to re-create this situation with simulation or a sand box I always have the right thing it look impossible to re-create this error but I know when it will be the 1st pay of 2009 I will have again the same problem with hours ?
    Can you help me ?
    Thank you,
    Jean

  • Unable to fetch Time Category wise total hours in Fast Formula

    Hi,
In OTL, we want to validate the total hours entered by user before they save the record. User can chose multiple Timecard info against a day like
    Day1             Hours
    Overtime1      5
    Overtime2      2
    Rest              6
Now we want to validate this 7 hours(Total hours of Overtime1 and Overtime2 only) should not exceed 12 hours. This is the requirement.
So for this we created a Time Category which includes both Overtime1 and 2 and tried using the standard formula "HXC_TIME_CATEGORY_COMPARISON" which does the validation but this was also not working as per the need.
Can anyone help us if you came across the same scenario earlier.
    Thanks,
    Manju

  • Working on Schedule Formula - include/exclude lunch based on total hours

So I was starting with the basic schedule template they have. They only problem is that it ALWAYS deducts 1 hour for lunch regardless of the length of the shift.
Here is the formula I have:
    =IF(OR(G8="",G9=""),"",IFERROR(G9-G8-Administration Information :: $B$1,""))
How can I modify this to make it only deduct the 1 hour for lunch if the total hours (before lunch) is more than 5.5 hours?
The 'Administration Information' is where it gets the lunch length from.
    Thanks!

No one has asked about that template for a month or so. Usually the question has to do with the Start and End times for the shift. I remember a long time ago when I looked at that template for the first time I thought it would be good to make the lunch variable.
You wrote a very good question. You mentioned exactly what template you were using and stated clearly what you wanted to do.
You can Hide column C in the Admin table since it doesn't have much purpose other than to contain the Duration constant for maximum work time without lunch.

So I have been using my iPad for a few months now and I recently noticed that the time display next to the playlist name in the music  app that is supposed to display the total song count and time of a playlist is way off. I have a 25 song playlist that is around 2 hours on my computer appears as 2003 minutes on my iPad.  It's a smart playlist limited to 25 songs if that makes any difference. Is this happening to anyone else? Any help would be appreciated!

    Greetings,
First make an iCal backup, File > Export > Archive.
Remove the following to the trash and restart your computer:
    Home > Library > Caches
Home > Library > Calendars > Calendar Cache, Cache, Cache 1, 2, 3, etc. (Do not remove Sync Cache or Theme Cache)
Home > Library > Preferences > com.apple.ical (There may be more than one of these. Remove them all.)
__NOTE: Removing these files will remove any shared (CalDAV) calendars you may have access to. You will have to re-add those calendars to iCal > Preferences > Accounts.
Once the computer is back up and running open iCal and test.
    Hope that helps.

  • Hour rounding for the per diem calculation in Germany

    Dear Experts,
In Germany the Law for the calculation of the per diem is as below:-
       00 Euros = less than 8 hours
06 Euros = greater than or equal to 8 hours and < 14 hours
12 Euros = greater than or equal to 14 hours and < 24 hours
       24 Euros = 24 hours
I have set up the hour scales in V_T706V as below:-
    Hour              Amount
    7     = 00.00 EUR
    13     = 06.00 EUR
    23     = 12.00 EUR
    24     = 24.00 EUR
Now system is rounding the partial hour to the next hour, i.e. for 7.50 hours, it is calculating 8 hours and thus per diem as 6 Eur.
Howeverwe want that for less then 8 hour it should be 0 Eur.
Please let me know if I am missing any setting, or any other workaround. As this is a legal requirement, we must have to implement it.
    Many thanks,
    Gaurav

    Hi Gaurav,
It depends upon how you write the coding for the calculation.
    If you want 0 - 7 hrs 59 min = 0 Euros and if it is 8 hrs - 6 Euros.
Then, you need to say if it is less 7hrs 59 min. or equal to = 0 and if it is 8 or greater than = 6 euros.
    Hope this helps.

  • Rounding the Total Scores for Objectives and Competencies in application

    Hello
Where does one change the format of the total scores for the Overall Ratings and Comments in the front end /application?
Currently the total scores are in the format Objectives: Total Score 3.375
    Competencies Total Score 2.69230769230769
HR want to show the Total Scores as rounded to 2 decimal places in the application so 3.375 becomes 3.38 and
    2.69230769230769 becomes 2.70

in case anyone wondered you use the package called apps.hr_appraisals_util_ss. Inside the package you can add round(,2) to obtain the result

  • Rounding to the next hundred

I need to round to the next hundred, for example if I have 154 the result should be 200, or 1301should be 1400.
    Thanks.

This is not what I need. For example:
    33 should be 100
    321 should be 400
    1001 should be 1100
and so on.Then you didn't implement it just like jschell said. Because if you had, you would have seen that those inputs would have produced the outputs you want.

  • Rounding to the next 0.5

I need to round a figure say 3.2 up to the nearest 0.5 so it will become 3.5 but i do not know how to do so as it always round to the nearest integer, from 3.2 to 4.
Need to know how to do round to 0.5
    Pls help.
    Ty

This will roundup anything above 3 but below 3.5 to 3.5.  From 3.5 to 4, it rounds up to 4.0.  However, due to representation errors, sometimes a .5 rounds up to the next integer, sometimes it doesn't.  For example, 10.5 will remain 10.5, but 9.5 will round up to 10.  At least that is how it does on my system.

    Hi Grum,
If the formulas aren't filling to the new column, you must have changed something in the template since you first opened it. Numbers is rather fussy about filling row content in columns as they are added. Only rows with the same expression in every Body Column will fill when a column is added. Just as an experiment, start a new Employee Schedule document from the Template Chooser and then add a column by clicking the Add Column handle in the upper right corner of the table. If that works, as it should, then think about what might have changed in your working document to disconnect that feature. Maybe we can figure it out together.
