Total labour hours for a FG

I have one finished good A which has a multi level bom.
I want to see the total labour hours required to manufacture this material A.
i.e. total of all the labour hours of all the subassemblies
under A.
In which transaction can I see it.
I have tried CK13N but am not able to find the total hours required to manufacture A.

Hi Amit,
You can do this via routing itself,
goto CA02
there you enter header detail screen
goto
extras
scheduling
there you can put the quantity as required
There there you will see the results of scheduling the labor Hrs
But for that you need maintain your work center scheduling category as labour.

  • Total Baseline Hours For A Resource Does Not Equal the Sum of the Weekly Baseline Hours for that Resource

    Hi,
I am using Project Server 2010. I have a project schedule that has been baselined and no actual work has been charged to it. The project has 3 resources. I am in the Resource Usage View. With 2 of the three resources, the hours in the Baseline Work Column
on the left side of the view do not equal the sum total of weekly hours in the Timephased Grid. For instance, for resource JB the Baseline Work hours column says 1,392. When I total his weekly hours in the timephased grid I get 1368 hours; a variance
of 24. Resource RS has 794.5 hours in the Baseline Work column but the sum total of his weekly timephased grid hours is 710.5, a variance of 84 hours. In both cases, the sum of the hours in the timephased grid is less than the hours in the Baseline Work column.
What would be causing this? (I am cutting and pasting the weekly hours in the timephased grid into Excel and using the Excel sum function total).  Is there a better timephased view I should be looking at to try to find the "missing
hours"? I have seen this before in project and it really has me stumped. Thanks.
    Judy Washington

    Hi Judy,
I could not reproduce your issue. Is your Project Server patched with the latest SP and CU?
Also can you reproduce this unexpected behavior with another project?
Can you split your screen from the resource usage view, display the resource form and click right on the grey part selecting "schedule"? Then you'll have the scheduled start and finish dates for the resource's assignments. This is to be sure that
you are not missing any parts of the assignments due to a wrong zoom in the timephased grid.
    Hope this helps,

    Hello Abbas,
I did not completely understand your question but confirming on the labor item for BOM.  It should be defined in the Item Master of type Labor.  In the Inventory data tab set the valuation method to Standard and define a cost for the labor.  A labor item in the BOM definition should be defined with issue method Backflush.

  • Total operation hours in routing

    Dear Experts,
Please suggest me what is the way to tackle the following scenario :
We are having 3 Work Centers say WC1, WC2, WC3 to carry out the different operations. Each work center requires 6 hours. It means if I use the standard sequence then total required hours will be 18 hr to produce 1000 pcs of FG X. But My client is producing 1000 pcs of FG X in 8 hours as second operation at WC2 begins when 1st operation on WC1 is being carried out on some quantity say 100 pcs. 7 same for the WC3.
How to control this situation as I am using the lead time scheduling in MRP run, this data gets coppied to planned order giving wrong finished date.
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Sagar

    Dear,
In Routing work center is maintain for an operation and each operation has different base quantity or production rate.
Work center      Operation detail                Production rate
    W1                    Operation          1                 200 Each/Hour
    W2                    Operation          2                 100 Each/Hour
    W3                   Operation           3                  90 Each /Hour
Now select first two operations and go to operation detail, In detail find a radio button Overlapping required and mark as required.
    For first operation
Now maintain Minimum overlap time 30 Min
and send ahead quantity          100 Each.
    For 2nd operation
Now maintain Minimum overlap time 30 Min
and send ahead quantity          50 Each.
I hope this will solve your issue.
    Thanks

  • How to update routing labour hours by material origin group?

    Hi,
I have a requirement to update the routing labour hours by material origin groups to save time of updating each and every material. Is there a way to do this?
For example if 3 materials belong to origin group A then if all 3 materials use labour hours of 5 hours, then the user has to enter only the origin group and 5 hours once to update all 3 material routings. Is this possible?

    Dear Raja,
Can you let us what do you mean by origin Group ??
if you mean updating the results in Material master
    then check T-code CA97

  • Total Man Hours worked

    Hi All,
I need to find out the total man hours worked in a timeline in Plant Maintenance. Can some one please let me know as to how we can do this?
Thanks in advance for your help,
    Kanthi.

    Greetings Kanthi,
IW47 will give you the hours of actual work that have been Confirmed against PM orders
Or if you have a process where you don't confirm hours manually, try Planned hours for Operations in IW37N

  • Ignore working hours for a specific route

    Dear SAP Gurus,
I'm on to maintain a route for 0 days and 0 hours. Therefore I customized a new route, and set the Delivery and Transportation Scheduling of my shipping point to "route dependent". So far, this works fine, but although I entered a total time of zero in my own - created route, the system calculates the next day as delivery date because of the customized standard working hours of our company.
Therefore I'm searching for a way to ignore those working hours in the calculation for this specific route (it's fine to use these working hours for the calculation of every other route). I'd like the delivery date and time being the same as the goods issue date and time, loading time, etc..
    How to handle this one?
Thanks a lot for any suggestions / ideas.
    Matthias

    Hi Matthias
1)Don't maintain any factory calender , pick / pack time , material availability time etc in shipping point
2)Even don't maintain the Factory calendar in the sales orgn details
3)Don't maintain  Factory calendar  the shipping point data
4)Finally as you have maintained route remove the factory calendar in the your route determination .
Then your requirement can be fulfilled
    Regards
    Srinath
