Total no. od Packages

Hi all,
In the Delivery I am creating packages, I have created a UDF  at header level where i want to know the only the total no. of packages created, i.e. the total packages which we can see in packing detail screen,
Can any body please help me write this formatted search query
Regards,
Atul Joshi

Hi Atul
This will be tricky as your main delivery screen is not linked to the packaging screen for a trigger to update when the packages are defined. What will the FMS trigger on? Second problem is that the details are in tables DLN7 & DLN8 and there is no count of packages in either.
A query after the delivery is added could be as follows:
SELECT T0.DocEntry, COUNT(T0.PackageNum)
FROM DLN7 T0 INNER JOIN DLN1 T1 ON T0.DocEntry = T1.DocEntry
WHERE T0.DocEntry = ?
GROUP BY T0.DocEntry
What you could do is write a similar query to update the UDF on the Delivery after it is Added, by setting Refresh Regularly.
Let me know if this helps
Kind regards
Peter Juby

  • Re-contracted- new package or old?

    Hi I have recontracted to the new 'totally unlimited usage' package and just wanna confirm that I have been recontracted to the new package and not the old, which I am already on. Pics to illustrate why I have doubts
    Should it not be 'Unlimited BT Infinity 2'
    and 50GB, not 5GB (as in the old package)
    Simple yes or no answer will be helpful as I can then swap it for the right one and not waste time.
    thank you!

    I wonder if it is some kind of permissions issue?  I ended up running @apxremov.sql   and reinstalled apex 5 again after I couldn't get the package apps to work the first time but that didn't fix anything.  I have attached a text file that has all the code from the error message.
    The database I installed to is an Oracle 12c Enterprise database.
    It had Oracle Apex 4.2.6 installed on it with many packaged apps (not really using them, just trialing them till 5 came out).  I ran @apxremov.sql before installing Apex 5.
    Any help or ideas are appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Matthew Friend

    Matthew,
    Looking at the error file, it appears that APEX is trying to "upgrade" an existing Data Reporter instance rather than do a fresh install. It's possible (I haven't checked the code) that apexremov.sql doesn't run the packaged applications through their deinstall process, and so their supporting objects may still be present within your schema. I'd suggest removing any objects (especially tables & packages) with a name like 'EBA_DP_%' from your parsing schema, and then trying the install again.
    Regards,

  • Tare weight specific to HU level - how calc. total Tare ?

    Working on 4.7 ext. set 200
    Wish to implement Handling Unit Management.
    When a HU is generated the system appears to only take in to account the packaging specific to that level when calculating the Tare weight.
    For example
    Gross weight of carton + content = 1.5 kg
    Tare weight = 1 kg
    Content (loading) weight = 0.5 kg
    10 cartons (+content) are packed in to one Shipper (weight 2 kg)
    SAP will calculate the weights for the 'Shipper' HU as:
    Tare weight 2 kg
    Loading weight 15 kg (10x1.5)
    Gross 17 kg
    We need to declare the total weight of packaging so the weights/calculation we require per Shipper (and same logic at higher levels e.g. pallet) are:
    Tare weight 12 kg (10x1 + 2)
    Loading weight 5 kg (10x0.5)
    Gross weght 17 kg
    I can sort of see SAP's logic but many bodies e.g. EU, want to know the weight of the packaging, in total and not simply of the highest level. Does anyone have a solution or ideas on how to address this ? For example make use of a particular Badi/Exit and two of the 'free' HU customer fields is one thought I've had.
    Thanks,

  • Installed package size and more

    first question,
    how do I know the final space required by a package and its dependencies  on the hard disk after the install?
    cos pacman gives an info about the size of the download but thats not necessary the final space required by the installation.
    second, is there a way to make pacman install a package and its dependencies into a directory, for instance to check the structure of a certain package (sort of what slackware does)

    tuxman wrote:thanks everybody for the feedback.
    my purpose is to analize the way a package would look into the filesystem once installed, where goes this and that file, in order to create modules for a live CD.
    You need pacman -Sl support which is not implemented yet.
    tuxman wrote:I have a doubt about the info given by pacman at download time yet.
    Currently Pacman ouptuts only the total size of packages to be installed/upgraded.This will be changed in the future versions.
    tuxman wrote:For instance, if I make pacman -Su it will download a bunch of packages, lets say 100MB but they will overwrite the existing ones, so the final space claimed on the hard disk will be less than 100MB
    Or maybe I got it wrong eheheh
    Hmm... this is more complicated, I doubt this will be implemented soon (if ever).
    IMHO it will be enough (and easy to implement) only total size of all packages to be downloaded.
    Calculating the resulting size of packages to be installed minus packages to be removed (replaced) is more complex.

  • Re-contracting/Upgrading to BT Totally Unlimited I...

    Hi, I gave the options team a call and they seemed to have no idea what I was going on about when i wanted to upgrade and re-contract to the Totally unlimited (uncapped) package. They seemed to suggest it has been applied to my account already, when it hasn't been.

  • Total Broadband Anywhere

    I am on the Total Broadband Anywhere package and I use an HTC Hero mobile phone.  If I decide to cancel the mobile phone element of the contract, how will this impact on the cost of the package and will BT be prepared to issue a PAC to enable me to acquire another phone from a different provider?  Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    If you are on the minimum 50 minutes and 50 texts a month, then you should see a reduction of about £5, however you may be able to negotiate an even better reduction if you are prepared to renew your broadband contract.
    You should have no trouble getting a PAC code so you can port your number.

  • Lost UDP packages

    Hello.
    I am strugling with a client that reads UDP packages from a DatagramChannel. The server is sending 1000 packages every 2 seconds. One package is 1468 bytes. My problem is that I don't get all the packages. I am using Ethereal to count the number of packages sent from server to client. I have set the receiveBuffer on the Socket to 75MB, a lot more than I need right now, but the server will send more data in the future. I have seen that the garbage collector runs quite regularly, and it seems that the more gc, the more data I loose, although this might be accidental. I loose packages even when I only count the packages received, and I loose even more if I try to process the data.
    Is there some process, gc for instance, that prevents the packets from beeing bufferd in the receiveBuffer? Am I simply doing something terrible wrong?
    Thanks in advance,
    Gro
    public void run()
    ByteBuffer bBuf = ByteBuffer.allocateDirect(1500);
    bBuf.order(ByteOrder.LITTLE_ENDIAN);
    Iterator iterator = null;
    Set readyKeys = null;
    long numPackagesReceived = 0;
    try
    while (!stopped)
    int rc = selector.select(6000);
    if (rc > 0)
    readyKeys = selector.selectedKeys();
    if (!readyKeys.isEmpty())
    iterator = readyKeys.iterator();
    while (iterator.hasNext())
    SelectionKey key = (SelectionKey) iterator.next();
    iterator.remove();
    if (key.isReadable())
    bBuf.clear();
    if (!mChannel.isConnected())
    SocketAddress sender = mChannel.receive(bBuf);
    mChannel.connect(sender);
    System.out.println("Connecting to: " + sender.toString());
    else
    mChannel.read(bBuf);
    numPackagesReceived++;
    catch (Throwable e)
    e.printStackTrace(); //To change body of catch statement use File | Settings | File Templates.
    finally
    System.out.println("Total number of packages : " + numPackagesReceived);
    }

    It wasn't very clear in the last message, but I actually count packets both in my client and in Ethereal. Ethereal receives more packets than I do. I know UDP is not reliable, but as long as Ethereal catches them, why don't I? By the way, I didn't write the server program that uses UDP so I cannot do anything about that.

  • Total Broadband additional usage charges ...

    I'm a loyal BT Phone & Broadband customer (have been for 15 years) and I was somewhat shocked upon receiving my latest quarterly bill to notice that my direct debit payments had been bumped up by quite a bit - closer investigation (of this and the previous bill!) revealed that I've been incurring significant additional broadband charges for at least the last 4 months (as I've exceeded the 10 Gb/month limit on Total Broadband 1).
    I promptly called BT and got upgraded to the Total Broadband 3 package (300 Gb/month limit) and ended up with a cheaper deal all round than I had before!
    This does however leave me about £150 out of pocket and with a slightly bitter taste in my mouth though ...
    Granted, it's my problem for not noticing I'd started going over the 10 Gb/month limit early on [my excuse is that with a very busy life I tend to scan the headline figures on the first page of the bill and only investigate if these seem unusual]
    Nevertheless, I would have expected BT, in the space of the last 6 months, to:
    a) have the courtesy to notify me more proactively that I'm exceeding the "fair usage" policy limits and/or
    b) Move me up to the next level automatically (seeing as it's ended up cheaper anyway?) and/or
    c) Have somebody call me to suggest that I might want to upgrade to save significant costs ...
    Has anybody else had a similar experience ?
    I will add though that I'm very happy with BT's service otherwise - just think this particular point merits raising as a matter of principle!

    Hello alexm3.  Yes, I have had the same problem.  Although I already had a BT landline, I switched in Sep 2010 to a total broadband package Option 1, (at £7.99 p.m.) thinking 10gb was downloads.  Had an email to my normal aol.com account telling me after the first week that I'd used 7gb.  Took 3 weeks to upgrade to Option 2 with 40gb, still went over the usage, and incurred £50 charge, and this month is £20 extra charge, while waiting to upgrade to Option 3.
    I have now been offered Option 3 at £40 p.m. plus line rental of £13.50, plus calls (average £20 p.m.) so look like I am going to be paying over £70 p.m.
    I did also find 22 emails last week in my btinternet.com Inbox although I have indicated I only use my old aol.com email address but they cannot use that although BT have been corresponding with me on that one since day 1
    Their usage monitor only tells you if you are within or over your usage allowance, not how you've used it!
    Good Luck

  • BT released another Totally Unlimited Broadband pa...

    Hi
    I have recently upgraded to the top normal broadband package BT just released at the start of
    this month Totally Unlimited Broadband extra which is priced at £21 per month + Line rental
    from £10.75 and this was their top normal broadband package on their website.
    I have just noticed today BT has just released yet another Totally Unlimited Broadband
    package just a day or two ago called Faster Unlimited Broadband which is priced
    at £26 per month + Line rental from £10.75.
    Looking at the description of both packages on the website below, they are identical and
    have the exact same features and up to speeds thought the new just released Faster
    Unlimited Broadband package for some reason is 5 pounds more per month.
    Does anybody know what the difference is between the Unlimited Broadband extra
    package and this new Faster Unlimited Broadband package?

  • CS4 Master Collection Installation Issues

    I recently purchased a new Dell Studio Laptop and attempted to install the CS4 Master Collection last night.  There are 5 Application Disks total in the package.  It starts out fine, goes through the first disk, asks for the second (had minor issues with the 2nd disk being read by the lap top, but once it was recognized that installed as well), then when I insert the third disk, it gives me a screen that just says "exit."  At first I thought the additional two application disks may just be extra apps, but when going through my systems menu, many of the programs that should be there are not installed.  What is happening? And how do I fix it?

  • Massive drop in line speed...

    Hi all,
    I suffered a massive drop in Internet connection speed earlier this week which has so far not improved.
    Although I have had ADSL since it's near earliest days and being close to my exchange I have never received a great performance but have become more or less satisfied with the 4\4.5mbps I receive from my Total Broadband Option3 package.
    I did receive close to that speed prior to the 8mb upgrade a few years back and an upgrade to 20mbps doesn't promise me any better (availability checker for neighbours etc suggests that faster is available but who is to know?).
    On Wednesday (9th February) my connection\synch speed dropped to about half it's usual speed and is now in the region of 240kb rather than the near 500kb I usually receive. I would like to comment that I know my line can achieve better than this as I got download speeds of nearer 600kb for a month or so around October last year.
    I power-cycled the router and after the diagnostics had completed etc and the line synch process had  completed the speed of the line had dropped again slightly.
    Not to sound arrogant but I know all the usual troubleshooting having been through it all before on several occasions each time finding out the issue is with the exchange and so having had no means to affect the problem.
    The situation is the same this time in that categorically nothing has changed inside my home nor with my equipment and so I am confident that the problem is external to me, especially considering the massive drop in speed.
    I did get a response from a BT forum moderator from a post I placed on another site but the advise I got back was generic at best and didn't suggest anything besides mounting a BT iPlate. that advice was no good for two reasons which are that as nothing in my home has changed fitting an iPlate won't make a 2+mbps connection increase (back to what it was) and that I already have an 'ADSL v1.0' labelled master socket that already contains all the tech that the iPlate does. Having replied to their email stating that I already have the afore mentioned v1.0 master socket I haven't had any response.
    So... to explain further...
    here are some diagnostic stats for the past couple of days taken from my router (Draytek Vigor 2820n) - sorry the font is small bu tI wanted to keep the layout of the text when I completed the post;

    The BT Speed Tester web-site reports my line speed as 2mbps when it was previously 4.5mbps and so as to check actual download speed independently I ran a comparison speed test via SpeedTest.Net which reported much the same result (down\up speed relative to what you would expect for a 2mbps line - Link to SpeedTest.Net results: http://www.speedtest.net/result/711802566.png ).
    As you can see from the diagnostic data, the SNR is high and so it does seem to suggest that there is fault on the line. prior to the fault, the SNR was around 6db rather than the 15\16db reported now.
    I know it has little factual baring on this incident's potential problems but my last broadband speed issue was caused by water having gotten into the top of the telephone pole at the end of my street which was temporarily fixed by a BT engineer but I don't know whether that was ever permanently fixed?
    During that occasion I did suffer very slight noise on my telephone line which I must say isn't the case this time but I thought I would request a line test once again in any case. That unfortunately hasn't helped as the online system tells me 'telephone number not found' and so I can't proceed with the test.
    Can anyone offer any advice or is any BT person willing to take on the issue and see it to resolution for me please?
    Even trying my own diagnostics trying to speed things along by obtaining a line test hasn't been possible.
    I do appreciate that there is a support system in place but that has failed me on this occasion and so I have no faith in going throught the telephone support for BT Broadband when I know that nothing I can affect is at fault.
    I can of course provide my account details, email address etc. to anyone BT techie that can assist and I am happy to run any further diagnostics that might me appropriate under the circumstances.
    Thanks in advance for any advice and\or furtherance anyone can make towards resolving my issue.
    Regards,
    Dizzy
    PS> if my speed increases beyond 4.5mbps I won't be upset!

    5 days into the problem and nothing much has improved. My line speed has now sync'ed into the realms of 2.5mbps so I am at least seeing circa 300kb download speeds (but that's still at least 50% less that I had).
    At the end of this post are the latest batch of diag results for anyone who wants to check them over. The only details that seem to change are the 'Cur SNR Margin' and as a result he downstream actual\attainable rate(s).
    It just simply seems that something has screwed-up the line and now I'm going throught the tedious increase period to get back to where I was. As increases always take longer that decreases it could be some time before things get back to normal (if they are on a slow increase that it!).
    The Kitz Site has some good information related to BRAS profile increases\decreases and depending on how small the increases (if any) are coming my way it could take a very long time to get back to 4.5mbps or thereabouts.
    At current rates if increases continue it could be at least 15 days (at 1/2 mbps per 5 days) making it some 20 days total to get back to where I was. All because of a fault that lasted a a fraction of a second.
    It is worth mentioning that I did have a similar long period to wait for my line sync speed to increase as a result of the water having gotten into the top of the telephone pole some time ago, which I mentioned in an earlier post, but at that time the drop wasn't too big and so a few days saw the previous performance restored.
    For the benefit of others that may read this post, I've explained in my email message to Stephanie that, I have checked with neighbours for any changes they may have made electrically, which they say they haven't, and confirmed that my modem is connected directly to the master socket, and that the master socket is an NTE5 socket so I don't need an iPlate.
    I also mentioned that I have ferrite RF chokes on the extension lines and the router<->ADSL line (supplied with the router itself) to cut RF interference that may be picked up by the system.
    On a related note, it was commented in another thread that RF chokes can cause problems with ADSL comms but that is not true (I've done a heap of research on the subject). That being said, they can actually have no effect at all if not installed correctly which is why the snap-on-cable type is best because you simply can't get it wrong.
    Anyhow, here are the stats and I hope things continue to improve, even if it does take 20 days!
