Tracking outgoing links

Hi,
Every month I publish a pdf on the web containing around 300 outgoing hyperlinks generated by Acrobat. I now need to track the number of times each one of these links is clicked.
Has anyone found a way of doing this?

Hi,
I´m new in Oracle Apex and i'm trying now to track outgoing links on my Apex 3.2.1 application.
When the user clicks on a link of my application that redirects to an outgoing site, I want them to be taken to the site (href) and I also want a background script that register in a oracle table this "click".
For example, i have this link in an APEX page:
When user cliks in this link, i would like to execute in background an oracle procedure, with a parameter. Let´s call this procedure, for example:
SP_REGISTRA_ACESS_LINK(:P19_COD_TOPICO).
This procedure insert a record in a table called BAC_ACESS, storing in it the SYSDATE and the value of ":P19_COD_TOPICO".
Is it possible to link to a new site and call an AJAX request at the same time?
Could some one give me a example of how i can do it? How i can implement it in my Apex 3.2.1 application?
I´m working with Apex 3.2.1 and RDBMS 9i. I can not upgrade none of these releases, cause Apex is installed in a production database that can be upgrade now to 10g/11g.

Very interesting. I didin´t know that this APEX_UTIL exists...
Although that, i developed a customized access control to specific "media itens" of my application, for example:
- Download of documents or programs;
- Play of videos;
- Play of audios;
- Acess of CLOB records of a table, that were displayed as a kind of HTML page;
- Outgoing links;
I do not want to control all the Apex application as, for example, tabs, report pages, charts, forms, etc.
All these media itens are stored on oracle tables, and where displayed in apex reports. Customer clicks on a link of this report and the media is displayed to the user.
I have sucess to control quite all the medias display.
The only one i could not have success to control are these outgoing links. These links were stored in a oracle table and were displayed in a apex interactive report.
I would like to know if i can implement my custom rutine to register these access. I think that i could to it with Ajax scripts.

User Usage Tracking History Link not visible in Reports

Hi All,
I want to create reports based on user usage login details by using the user usage tracking history link in report section.But presently i do not find the link there.May i know what can be the problem behind this issue?

This is only available in historical subject area. If you cannot see this please ask your admin to turn this on within your role.

Tracking external links

My HMTLDB application manages many external links.
I'd like to somehow count which of these is used more often to be able to do things like:
List most popular items
Any suggestions on best methods to track external links?
Anyone else done something like this?
(i.e. use redirects or some other method)

You need to include your workspace ID in the proc call

Tracking/mapping links

Hello all,
I am working with a large number of InDesign files (72 to be exact). I am trying to find an efficient way to record all the links I use in every document. I would like to create a list of all the links in each document to see if I can consolidate anything and replace a few links with 1 indesign file to function as the "link" instead. (A "multiple use file" as I call it. I use some the same pdfs over and over again so when things change, it's best to have one ID file serve as the master file which I can re-use and make changes to content year after year.)
I'm stuck as to the best way to go about it.
I could package the files to get a list of the links/locations and paste that info into an excel file...but would this be the quickest way?
Perhaps I need to bite the bullet and just do that, but to package and compare links in all 72 files doesn't sound fun. I'm curious if anyone has any other suggestions on tracking/comparing links.

ServerSideSync: track outgoing e-mails

Our customer wants to have the e-mails of thier sales to be tracked automatically. No matter if the e-mails are sent via outlook, tablet or mobile. They can't install CRM Outlook client.
ServerSideSync works perfectly for this scenario for incoming e-mails. They are created as an e-mail activity for the corresponding contact.
Outgoing e-mails are not tracked according to Microsoft and our own testing. Microsoft idea is to use crm e-mail activity in web client for e-mail. This is not practicable for our customer.
Any ideas how we can help our customer with a good solution?

App for tracking outgoing call usage

I've been searching around the App Store, but haven't found what I'm looking for yet. I'd like to be able to track my OUTGOING call usage (not total call time like the iOS provides). My other need is to be able to track the number of outgoing SMS messages (I did find an app for that however, but it would be great if there was one app that could do both).
I live in Brazil and cell phone usage is very expensive. However, we're only charged for outgoing call time, which is why I need to keep track of it.

You won't find any apps that will do what you want. No app would have access to the private API's necessary. If your carrier does not provide this info(some do throught their own apps), there is no way to obtain it.

Playing Tracks but linking to different tracks

I have a DVD produced with all the content that is right at the amount of space I can put on one DVD - 4.2 GB. My Client has requested I use one track in the DVD more then once. So basically the DVD would start out with Generic video #1 then Custom video #1, followed by Generic #2 then Custom #2 - so on and so on.
I want to then link to Generic video #1 in the middle of the DVD and then from that go to Custom video #5 - is there a way to link like this without duplicating the track (Generic Video #1 and updating where it links) and adding file space to a full DVD?
I hope this makes sense...

Status & Tracking System: Link responsible person-hierarchy node

Hi experts!
Where does SAP store the link between hierarchy nodes, responsible persons and web layouts for STS? In the relevant tables for STS starting with UPS* you find only an orgvalue, which seems to be some kind of hash key, which is only used in tables which don't provide the necessary information (resp person and so on).
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Film tracks not linking back to the right DVD menu in dvdsp

Can anyone help with this problem I have with DVD Studio Pro.
I have created a new showcase wedding DVD to give to prospective clients
I have a main menu where you can view wedding one or wedding two
And have a menu for each wedding which will take you to a menu giving you the option to view
The main feature film, service or speeches
On wedding TWO when viewing the main film or service or speeches, if you decide to watch any of the films in full up to the end it returns to
the main menu (denoted as the end jump) for that wedding which is fine....but, and this is my problem....
If when watching any of the films in wedding TWO the viewer decides to go back to menu the DVD goes to the menu for wedding ONE! - wrong.
Bit if you decide to to do the same when watching any of the films in wedding ONE the DVD goes back to the wedding ONE main menu - correct.
Now I tested this in the simulator and also burned a DVD and tested on my TV same problem.
Also for some reason my menu button on the simulator does not work!
I would be grateful for Amy advice or help on this issue.

Thanks for the reply studio x, Each track has the end jump set to the correct result ....it's when the viewer decides to stop watching any of wedding TWO films and want to return to the menu of wedding TWO it goes to wedding ONE menu?

A2 Audio track not linked or patched?

I'm really stuck on this ... I'm capturing 720/25p and 50p footage from my JVC GYHD201 onto my Mac Pro. For some reason it will only capture one channel of audio, even though there is clearly two discrete channels (CH1 - Top Mic. CH2 Radio Mic) The capture settings are correct (set to 2 x mono and not stereo linked) and even more confusing is my Mac Book Pro can capture the footage and the two audio channels.
I can't see any other settings that would force FCP not to import both audio channels from the camera?
As always, any help very gratefully received.

Took a hint from another post that preview does not always work. This is the first time I have had this problem, but I usually come to Encore by way of export from PPCS3. I built to folder and it played like I wanted with software. Now I will finish the project and feel confident that it will work.
Just in case anyone is reading this, I had another error that it took me a few minutes to figure out in this project. The default location for chapters was too close to the beginning of a chapter and that chapter would not play even though the build check said there were no errors. I hope some of these problems are not in CS5.

I'm new to blackberry and using it from Singapore. I need a tool to keep trace of outgoing call minutes, blackberry 8900 curve only shows total and last call. I do see some tools from appworld but cant download from my region. Do any one know any free software to meet my requirements?

Extra, linked, video track I didn't add

The image shows two Video tracks, Video 2 appeared at some point early on; I didn't notice it's arrival and I have no idea how or why it got there. It seems to be linked to Video 1 because I can't select them separately; in order to deleted Video 2. Also Video 2 has no audio track.

I still think you've accidentally applied the Effects Mask, from the right-click menu.

I agree with you. When an Effects Mask is applied, there WILL be what appears to be a duplicate of the Video, placed on a higher Video Track, and linked to the original Video Track. It is about the same, as with the Track Matte Keying, and contains the Mask. With Track Matte Keying, one would Duplicate the Clip to the Video Track above, then create and add the Matte, above that, linking, as needed. With Effects Mask, all the handwork is done automatically, and that "duplicate" has the Mask.
Can definitely be a tad confusing, the first time that one encounters it - unless they have read your book!

Help with linking a layer to motion tracked video

Not sure of the best way to describe this. I have a video with shadow in it which only moves slightly when camera pans a little.
Ive created a static image and removed the shadow in photoshop although could have probably done that using the clone stamp in AE.
However, the problem I have is that when the photoshop image is imported and I create the mask around the image where my shadow is on the video, the image is not tracked or linked to the video... How do I link it to the motion tracked video so that it moves with the video ?

Yeah one below.. What you will see is the photoshop file, then the null layer followed by the original footage. In effect I need the photoshop image to track the movement of the camera as when I currently play the video, when the camera moves it looks as though a chunk of grass (the mask) is moving different from the rest of the scene.
