Transaction executing in queue XBTOE_0000

Hi,
we have a scenario where PI picks up a file and sends it to some external partner.
Afterthe file is picked up the message gets a status 'recorded for outbound processing' in SXMB_MONI. In SMQ2 it reads 'Transaction executing'. In the Runtime werkbench the message is set to 'DLVD'.
All queues are registered in SMQR.
We just made an upgrade from 7.10 to 7.11 - in 7.10 it worked - and still works.
Thanks for helping.

Hi Pavan,
Did u try to execute it by going in Edit -> Execute LUW.
If not, try that and also check by digging into the queue entry whether it gives any more details.
Also, check whtehr the user which is uesed to login in R/3 is in an unlocked state or note.

  • SMQ2 -  "Transaction Executing ...." for ever ...

    Hi,
From time to time, we get blocked queue with status RUNNING ...
When we introspect the queue, we see a bunch of transactions that has the status : Recorded…  but the very first one has the status : <b>"Transaction Executing ..."</b> and if we do not manually unblock the queue, it stay in that mode for ever ...
Any one has seen this situation ...
    Merci A+ M.Osborne

    Hi Ananth,
At the first place we suspect the following 4 RFC
    - AI_RUNTIME_JCOSERVER
    - AI_DIRECTORY_JCOSERVER
    - LCRSAPRFC
    - SAPSLDAPI
And the are all working perfectly ;-(
    (ref.:http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04s/helpdata/en/be/6e0f41218ff023e10000000a155106/content.htm)
We are in HA mode with the SAP Web Dispatcher. Do you think, since the AFW talk to the IS via HTTP (thus going via the SAP Web Dispatcher) that could cause the problematic?  (We have check the SAP Web Dispatcher + ICM logs and we see nothing ...)
It has happens with a JMS to IDOC scenario. We have suspect that the R/3 backen system was up to it’s limit (WP wise), but the its running also idle.
Then it has happened with a very simple (with 4000 messages) JMS to JMS scenario.

  • Monitoring of remote system's Transactional RFC and Queued RFC

    Hello,
In our production system, in rz20- CCMS monitor templates- Communication-Transactional RFC and Queued RFc- outbound queues- Queues otherwise not monitored we can see blocked queues for each client.
System is connected to solution manager and we wish the central auto reaction is implemented in solution manager
However i am unable to find Transactional RFC and Queued RFC for the remote system, they exist only for solution manager itself
Tell me how can i do the central monitoring

    Hello,
First you need to check with your Landscape in solman in order to monitor any kind of activities to do so pls follow these steps.
Go to SMSY in solman under Landscape components>Product systemsselect you satellite system example SAP ECC.
On the main screen you will find client for which you have generated RFC connection. Please check though connection are working fine, Go to edit mode and try to click on generate button there will be a pop-up, which gives a clear picture of RFC connection which already exists, and you can also re-generate this RFC connection by clean it up when you re-generate pls select under Actions after generation assign RFC dest for system monitoring.
But make sure there is no project impact on this RFC, like they are not using any logical components and already have some projects running on this RFC connection.
I would advise you to first you the option of assign and check RFC button which is next to generate icon.

  • Transaction EXECUTE is unknown - in Transaction Launcher

    Hello All,
We are on CRM 4.0 using IC Web Client. Our requirement is to pull R/3 Sales Order using Transaction Launcher.I confured TL and created a link(List of Sales Orders) on the Navigation Bar. When I click on the Link it is asking a R/3 Login and after logging in, it says "Transaction EXECUTE is unknown". Then I need to type in the TCode VA05 to open the sales orders.
What am I missing in the confiuration to automatically open the TCode VA05 without giving the login name and password?
    Thank you in Advance.

    Any Help on this Please?

  • Transaction launcher-'Transaction execute is unknown'

    Hi,
I am trying to launch transaction BP in IC web client
I have configured the launcher wizard and entered the URL in transaction 'CRMC_IC_CROSS_SYS . I  have added the navigation link but when i click on this link I get  SAP initial screen ( easy access) instead of BP screen with an error 'Transaction execute is unknown'
I directly want to navigate to BP, can someone please help here or point me to some useful documentation. My mail id is [email protected]
    Thanks

    Hello Amit,
I think you made a mistake in your transaction launcher wizard.
If you want an external url to be displayed you should choose URL and not BOR method in the trans launch wizard. The error message 'Transaction execute is unknown' means that you have selected BOR object in the wizard. When selecting BOR object it will automatically look for a EXECUTE methode in the business object. (Or, if you do wanted to execute a BOR object you have picked the wrong one)
Run through the wizard again and make sure you have entered the correct values.
    Reward points if useful,
    Kind regards,
    Joost

    Hello PT,
If you use the search for the term "How do I know what transactions executed by specific user for last month" then I guarantee you some good hits in the result, and further more detailed search terms to use...

  • List of transactions executed in the last one year along with the count

    Hi all,
I want to find the list of transactions executed in the last one year in my IDES system. Also, i want to find how many times these transactions got executed in the last one year.
I already saw, ST03 and ST03N tcodes. But im not able to see the correct result there.
Could anyone tell me whether SM21 or ST03N tcode will be useful for finding the total number of transactions get executed in the last one year and the number of times these got executed..
If anyone of this useful for my exact requirement, then what are all the correct inputs need to be passed to these transaction?
When i see the MONI table, i find that it gets stored with some cluster key. How the data from this table will be usefiul for my requirement?
Or, is there any standard reports available for finding this count?
    Thanks,
    Shanthi

    Hi Michael,
    Thanks for ur reply.
I have few more clarifications in this.
When i click the "Standard" transaction profile, it shows a list of dialog pgms and the number of steps. But this count is different from the count which i get it from "Early Watch".
For example, the "Standard" didn't display the SE38 transaction code for a specific week which i selected. Whereas, "Early watch" displays the SE38 transaction.
So, which count is correct actually?. What do "standard" and "Early watch" represent?
Also, i executed a Z transaction today(13.03.2009). But im not able to select today (No application server is avaliable to select for today's date). So how can i check what are all the transactions executed today and how many times this Z transaction executed today, from this transaction.
    Please help me...
    Thanks,
    Shanthi

  • JMS transaction between two queues

    Hi there,
I have been asked to build some code that will act as an adapter
between two legacy systems. Basically I will have to read from a
queue, transform the information and write it to the other, then
receive the response, transform it, and put it again back to the
              "caller" system.
There are 4 queues implicated in this task.
I will to use JMS Api in my code but I have found a problem. The way
of performing a transaction in JMS is this:
              QueueSession queueSession = queueConnection.createQueueSession(true,
              0);
"Here, the first argument means that the session is transacted; the
second indicates that message acknowledgment is not specified for
              transacted sessions."
As queueConnection is a connection to ONE queue, I can only perform
transactions to ONE queue! But I don´t want to consume a message till
I know it has been sent correctly to the other side.
I have also read that some JMS providers support JTA transactions.
But I don´t know if this is the right way to go.
Can anybody bring some light to this issue.
Thaks al lot for your attention!!

This post has blossomed into several threads. I'm going to
attempt a shot-gun approach to answer all questions.
              On MQSeries:
See "How to use IBM MQ as a JMS Provider?" posts for more info.
              On transacted sessions:
If this is ALL MQSeries, then it is up to MQSeries if a transacted
session can span multiple queues and/or servers. WL supports this.
MQSeries may simply prevent a session from
spanning multiple servers and/or queues. Note that other vendors,
that do not have their own TX monitor, very very likely do
not have a 2PC in a transacted session that spans multiple servers
(meaning it is not truly transactional).
              On JTA and multiple queues:
The whole reason for being for JTA is to be able to span multiple
operations. Yes, this is supported in WL.
              On the manuals:
These issues are covered in great detail in the WL JMS developer's
              guide in the transactions chapter.
              On bridging:
You do not have to write your own bridge.
WL supplies a bridge to greatly simplify the work involved.
WL 7.0 can even bridge two XA compliant JMS implementations transactionally.
(Neither has to be WL JMS.) WL 6.1SP3 will have this same feature, now
avialable as alpha code in 6.1. See "How to use IBM MQ as a JMS Provider?" posts for more
              info.
              On queuing and transactions:
One can not include a request and its response in the same transaction. Period.
This is the nature of queueing. One can dequeue from one queue and
enqueue to another. I think you understand this, but it bears repeating.

  • Transaction executing slow and database undo log increasing soon.

    Dears,
I developed a transaction which query database many times in a repeater loop and finally generate a SAP MII XML Output Document which I want to display in a html hyper link in MII Navigation.  (Using XacuteQuery and iGrid)
    I found that
    1. if I execute in SAP MII Workbench, the transaction executing very slow, and also the database undo log in D:\oracle\TMI\sapdata2\undo_1\UNDO.DATA1 increasing soon.
    2. If I use MII Schedule Edit to run the transaction, it executing fast.
    Does any one know why?
Is there any setting can make it executing fast in a MII Workbench?
    Many thanks!
    Ivan

    Hi,
Can you explain why it's different by using MII Workbench and Scheduler depending on sql  joining and logic?
My transaction logical is basically as below,
    1. query qualified sfc in SAPME tables
    SELECT *
      FROM (SELECT   s.site, s.sfc, ss.operation_bo, ss.qty_in_queue,
                     ss.qty_in_work, s.priority, s.item_bo, s.shop_order_bo,
                     s.status_bo, ss.sfc_router_bo, ss.step_id, ss.step_sequence,
                     st.status_description, cf.ATTRIBUTE, cf.VALUE
                FROM sfc_step ss,
                     sfc s,
                     sfc_router sr,
                     sfc_routing srt,
                     status st,
                     custom_fields cf
               WHERE sr.handle = ss.sfc_router_bo
                 AND srt.handle = sr.sfc_routing_bo
                 AND s.handle = srt.sfc_bo
                 AND st.handle = s.status_bo
                 AND SUBSTR (s.status_bo, -3) IN ('402', '403', '404')
                 AND sr.handle = ss.sfc_router_bo
                 AND sr.in_use = 'true'
                 AND ((ss.qty_in_queue > 0) OR (ss.qty_in_work > 0))
                 AND s.site = '[Param.1]'
                 AND cf.handle(+) = s.handle
                 AND cf.ATTRIBUTE(+) = 'QTIMECONTROL'
                 [Param.2]
            ORDER BY s.priority DESC, s.sfc)
WHERE (ATTRIBUTE = 'QTIMECONTROL' AND VALUE != 'N') OR VALUE IS NULL
    2. use Repeater to query sfc's activity_log table
    SELECT   al.site, al.sfc, al.operation, al.operation_revision, op.description,
             al.step_id,

             TO_CHAR (SYSDATE, 'YYYY/MM/DD HH24:MI:SS') AS check_time,
             (sysdate-NEW_TIME (date_time, 'PST', 'GMT'))2460 as difference
        FROM activity_log al,
             custom_fields cf,
             sfc s,
             sfc_routing srg,
             sfc_router sr,
             sfc_step ss,
             operation op
       WHERE al.site = '[Param.1]'
AND (action_code IN( 'COMPLETE' , 'START' , 'SIGNOFF'))
         AND al.sfc = '[Param.2]'
         AND cf.handle(+) =
                   'OperationBO:'
                || al.site
                || ','
                || al.operation
                || ','
                || al.operation_revision
         AND cf.ATTRIBUTE(+) = 'QTIME'
         AND s.handle = srg.sfc_bo

    3. call another transaction to parse  input data and get output data
    4. parse get back data to form a MII xml output Document.
    Thanks!

  • Old tRFC entries in status "Transaction executing"

    Hi,
Question is related to tRFC processing.
I see in SM58 very old entries (older than a year) in status "Transaction executing" (ARFCSSTATE-ARFCSTATE = SENDED). I will ask basis team to clean them up, but my question is can this cause performance problems? How are the recorded tRFC entries executed? Does the system check the number of records being executed from ARFCSSTATE, like those old ones, so it blocks that many otherwise available work process/slot/whatever from being used by the other recorded tRFC calls? Or these 'stuck' entries should cause no problems other then requiring attention to clean them up?
    Thanks,
    Krisztian Klausz

    Hi,
If you delete those tRFC It won't impact on system performance.
To do this task please go through below steps.
To delete old tRFC records, follow menu path "Log File --> Reorganize" and set the date ranges.  Leave the User Name fields blank and select all Status values and then Execute.
I hope it will help you.

    Kiran .V

  • Call Transaction execute Unauthorized Transaction.

    Dear All,
When i m using call transaction for calling program.
if for that tcode if i don't have authorization then also it is executed.
    how to restrict this?
    Thanks,
    Arpit

    Hi,
If you are using it programatically, you can have the addition,
    Authority-check .
    Syntax
AUTHORITY-CHECK OBJECT auth_obj [FOR USER user]
                            ID id1 {FIELD val1}|DUMMY
                           [ID id2 {FIELD val2}|DUMMY]
                           [ID id10 {FIELD val10}|DUMMY].
    Addition:
    ... FOR USER user
    Effect
This statement checks whether authorization is entered in the user master record of the current user or the user specified in user for the authorization object entered in the field auth_obj, and whether this authorization is sufficient for the request specified in the statement. A flat character-type field that contains the name of an authorization object is expected for auth_obj. Without the addition FOR USER, the authorization of the current user is checked.
With id1 ... id10, you must have at least one and can have a maximum of 10 authorization fields listed for the authorization object specified. With id1 ... id10, "flat", character-type fields are expected that contain the name of the authorization fields in uppercase letters. If an authorization field is specified that does not appear in the authorization object, no check can be executed and sy-subrc is set to 4. For each specified authorization field, you must specify with FIELD either a value to be checked in a flat, character-type field val1 ... val10 or the addition DUMMY.
The authority check is carried out if the check indicator for the specified authorization object for the current context is set to check with any proposal status. If the check indicator is set to no check, no authority check is carried out and sy-subrc is set to 0, as with a successful check.
The authorization check is successful if one or several authorizations are created for the authorization object in the user master record and if - for at least one of the authorizations - each of the value sets defined there for the authorization fields specified using FIELD includes the value val1 ... val10 to be checked. Authorization fields that are not included in the statement or that have DUMMY specified for them are not checked. If the check is successful, sy-subrc is set to 0. Otherwise, it is set to a value not equal to 0 (see below).
    Example

  • Transaction executing Twice

    Hi,
I have BLS Transaction which is scheduled for every Hour to run. It runs every hour but i see the transaction runs twice for that Hour.
But When I execute the BLS manually it executes only once properly without any duplication.
It inserts duplicates or runs twice when scheduled using Schedule Editor.
This is happening in the Production System only.
The same Transaction runs fine in Development System.

  • Time Spent by the user in the system and No. of transactions executed

    Hi,
Can anyone tell, if there exists any tranaction/report to get the details of the Time Spent by the User in the system and No. of transasction run by User in a given period of time?
If I get the names of tables where SAP stores this information in, then that also will be helpful.
                Thank you!!!

    Hello Pranali,
the time spent by a user (which is the difference between login and logout) is <b>not</b> stored anywhere.
STAD and/or ST03 will not help here as only the time of the login could be determined from the workload statistics. The time of the logout cannot be retrieved from the workload data (as this action doesn't contain any "logout specific" information).
As a workaround you can use the Security Audit Log (sm19) to protocol the logon and logoff of the users. Based on this information you should be able to calculate the time a user was logged on.
    About the number of transactions:
the workload analysis only uses dialog steps. As the number how often a transaction was called doesn't contain any useful information this information is <b>not</b> collected.
E.g. you can call su01 to create 100 user accounts or call ten times su01 to create one user. The workload creating 100 users will be higher than the workload of the remaining ten transactions...
So the figures 1 transaction vs. 10 transactions doesn't provide any useful information.
