Transaction failed on 16 Feb 2015 but Money debited from International travel currency card
Hello Lenovo,
during her short trip to US, my Wife tried to order Lenovo laptop ' Lenovo Flex2 -14 inch - Black' from Lenovo official site on 16 feb 2015 from Houston, Texas area but got declined transaction with no transation number generated citing reason as "Unuthorized transaction".
The amount 535.18 USD was deducted from the Travel currency card (VISA verified) immediately.
After contacting Lenovo, they cited the reason in mail that they do not accept international credit card and thus order can not be processed .
Now when we contacted the Bank (indian branch who issued the travel currency card), they asked us to send the mail communication regarding failure of transaction to be communicated to them to revert the transacted money.
But recently they informed that they can not reverse the money until we present a official communication from Lenovo with clear mention of failed tranaction with :
Credit Card details
Transaction amount
Can you please direct me to the right set of department who can help us with the above mentioned issue and details required?
We have been chasing the issue for last 1 and half month but there is no satisfactory response from any party yet.
Also sent mail to 'Lenovo customer care' but no repsonse yet even after sending periodic reminders.

You are assuming that there was actually a charge made and you are giving advice that may honestly just not be helpful to the user.
First, we do not intent customers to make purchases cross country - buy on US site and ship elsewhere. We clearly say that it must be a US issued credit card. The only international cards accepted are American Express, and if shipping to a Non-US address the order might still be canceled. (most likely would be).
Lenovo DOES NOT charge a credit card until we ship. However, there is a Charge Hold placed on the card as part of the order process to ensure there is adequate credit available for authorization. Charge holds typically drop off in several days. If you check your balance, the charge hold can appear as a charge because it decriments the available balance.
Lenovo did not take funds from the customer, so advising customers to issue disputes through their CC card company is just not a helpful / constructive course of action.
In a perfect world, the process would determine when the pending order qualifies all other criteria before proceeding to the charge hold stage. If the process could be changed in that manner, orders could be rejected without triggering the charge hold and leading the customer to being believed that their order was canceled.

Ok Here is it ... Like many others as I have seen on the forum, I have used an Indian Credit Card to purchase a laptop. The card authentication has failed, but I see amount debited from the card. Unable to authorize your transaction, but money deducted from account
Hello, While placing an order for Thinkpad T450s, I received an error message - "Unable to authorize your transaction. Please select another payment method to complete your order.". However, the order amount ($1431) was debited from my account. I have not received a mail pertaining to failure/confirmation from Lenovo after the error message. App store on mac won't purchase with "none credit" but money available from redeem cards
ryt... so i have a mac book pro 15" 2.5 ghz, 8 gig ram highest specs available for my comp etc... i also have $15.36 in my apple account from using a redeemer card i bought 2day. i got home and went to my app store on my mac and wanted to buy GTA san andreas for $14.99 so i clicked BUY... it asked for my password and i gave it.. then it asked for my password again for billing info as it usually does and i would usually press DONE and it would start to download.. "i don't use a credit card on the app store cause i will probably spend to much money, so i have it on NONE and just buy credit on the redeem cards when i really want something" anyways.. so as i usually do i clicked BUY blah, blah BUT... after it said pls do the billing info part i just added my password and clicked DONE except this time it didn't let me buy it?? so now i would please like to know if anyone has had this problem and fixed it or knows how i can get past this annoyance and buy the game?! or is it the game having problems or what??

The total cost of the app may include any applicable taxes and fees. Since the app is $14.99 and you only have $15.36 credit, that's probably not enough to purchase the app and that's why you are asked for a credit or debit card so Apple can apply the difference to that account.

Failed Transactio​n But Money Debited
I tried purchasing a Y410P on Lenovo's website using my Indian ICICI card. The transaction came as "transaction cant be authorised" but the money was debited. I checked the forums and later I realised it was my mistake. Lenovo doesn't accept international payments. Since then I have been able to buy the laptop using an AMEX card.
The transaction which was debited has yet to be credited back. I have checked with my bank and they say transaction was authorised. Now Lenovo needs to refute the charges and refund the money. How do I go about doing this?Hi Neha26shah,

Subscription failed but amount debited from my acc...

I made subscription for pakistan 400 minutes yesterday but got the messege that my subscription failed. i tried it again and again it showed that subscription failed. After some time i got 2 messeges from my bank that 2 times my account is debitted by 29.99 dollars. i am shocked. Credit available but apps debited from my bank account
I have a balance on my account in the application store. If I buy from I tunes it takes it off the credit balance, but when I buy from the app store it goes off my bank account even though there are funds available? How can I stop this?
Have you changed countries somewhere in this process? That would explain it if you did.
If not, are you buying apps using some non-standard practice (for example, are you "gifting" the apps to someone else)?
If you just buy the apps for yourself, and have not changed countries of iTunes or App Stores, and are signed in correctly at Settings > iTunes & App Stores, it should work fine. -

Try the following.
First of all, shut down the notebook, unplug the AC Adapter and then remove the battery. Hold down the Power button for 30 seconds. Re-insert the battery, plug in the AC Adapter and start the notebook.
Next, download the IDT Audio installer on the link below and save it to your Downloads folder.

When done, open windows Control Panel, open Device Manager and open up Sound, Video and Game Controllers. Right click the IDT device and select Uninstall - you should also get a prompt to remove the current driver, tick the box to allow this and then proceed with the uninstall.
When complete, restart the notebook and let Windows fully load. Open your Downloads folder, right click on the IDT installer and select 'Run as Administrator' to start the installation. When this has completed, right click the speaker icon in the Taskbar and select Playback Devices. Left click 'Speakers and Headphones' once to highlight it and then click the Set Default button - check if you now have audio.
If you still have no audio, open windows Control Panel, open Administrative Tools and open Services. Check that the following services are all showing as Status= Started and Start-up Type= Automatic

Multimedia Class Scheduler
Windows Audio
Windows Audio Endpoint Builder
If you need to make a change to any of the above, just right click the service and select Properties, then in the dropdown box next to 'Start-up type', select Automatic and click Apply to save the change. Then click the Start button.

How do I get a refund? I have tried to use this converter to change a PDF to a word document or excel document three of four times and it always fails.. You need to use the CHAT link in support to reach Adobe staff. Be sure you know the product name you are trying to cancel, Adobe have lots of products, several converters etc. I think it is ExportPDF you have, most likely.

Hello All,
We recently (Monday) updated our farm to the feb 2015 CU. Since then we have been getting calls in from users that cannot access list items. They receive a correlation error. Looking at the logs the correlation error points to a critical
error: "Requested registry access is not allowed"
Doing some googling, others have seen this error but it is usually associated with managed accounts.
Has anyone else encountered this issue/error? Have you found a solution?

Process Monitor to look at Registry keys, and look for ACCESS DENIED.
One thing you could just try out would be to run:

Error: failed to commit transaction (failed to retrieve some files)
Hello, I am trying to get a fresh install of arch linux going, but,
When I exectute pacstrap -i /mnt base base-devel, I get an error:
warning: failed to retrieve some files
error: failed to commit transaction (failed to retrieve some files)
Errors occured, no packages were updraded
==> EDDOR: Failed to install packages to new root
I have no clue what is wrong, I tried changing my nameserver, updating the keyrings, and updating the system. How can I fix this?

Deferred transaction fails due to a "ORA-01403: no data found" error
I recently acticated replication between two Oracle instances.
(one being the master definition site and the other one being
a second master site).
Everything was going well until two weeks ago, when i realized
that some datas were different between the two Oracle instances.
I tried to figure out why and found that some deferred transation
failed to propagate due to a "ORA-01403: no data found" error.
Not all transaction fail, only a few.
All the errors are stored in the DEFERROR table of the second
master site, the DEFERROR table is empty in the master definition
site.
For every error, the source is the master definition site and the
destination is the second master site, which is OK because the
second master site is supposed to be "read-only". But why are the
errors stored in the DEFERROR table of the second master site
(and not in the master definition site (the source)).
Most errors occur on UPDATE statements but a few of them occur
on DELETE statements. Given the fact that the record actually is
in the second master site, how is it possible to get a
"ORA-01403: no data found" error on a delete statement ???????

in the second master site. So the data is there, it should be
found ...
I've tried an EXECUTE_ERROR on that very first transaction
in error but it doesn't work. Here's the call (as repadmin) :

RequiresNew transaction fails in case of nested EJB, is it known issue ?

we are facing a peculiar problem across entire application. All the nested ejb transactions with transaction attribute as RequiresNew fail, when the main transaction fails.
This is wrong as, if a nested transaction has attribute as RequiresNew , it should succeed even if main transaction fails. It works fine with websphere
for e.g
EJB A has methodA(), which calls methodB() of EJB B. methodB() inserts few rows in DB and returns to caller methodA(). Now methodA() fails due to some reason.
In case of Netweaver 04s the rows inserted by mentodB() are rolled back which is wrong.
Is this a known issue ? Is there any work around ?Hi All,

SSIS 2012 ETL is failing only at one server (No BIDS) but running successfully from BIDS on different sever . In this ETL, I have used Stored Procedure in OLEDB Source.
Note: I have couple of ETLs developed in 2005 using same logic and upgraded to 2012, working perfectly.

Yes you are right. At one sever where I was getting error, DateTime was in USA format and Where It was running successfully was in AUS format.
I changed from USA to AUS and I did another changes:
